Description[]
Yair Lamas is a full member of Seaside with former links to the Ballas.
The ultimate all-rounder, Yair is known for his skills in hacking, getaway driving and meth production.
Background[]
Yair grew up with his grandparents in Hermosillo, Mexico after his mother was killed in a drive-by shooting. He grew to become a a short-tempered man resentful of authority.
Arriving in Los Santos after being betrayed by some of his closest "friends", he suffered from paranoia and experienced a hard time trusting people. Yair was thus being more prone to getting things done by himself (instead of relying on others).
He eventually joined the Ballas having met leader Mando Thompson on his second day in the city. After some time, he parted ways with the gang.
When Yair left the Ballas, two Vagos members - Chico Guzman and Karl Johnny 'KJ' Black - saw his potential. He was brought under KJ's wing, and eventually began selling guns for him. KJ also brought Yair into the gang as a hangaround but things would quickly change with an impending exodus.
Vagos Vice-el Jefe Benji Ramos had grown disillusioned with the leadership of Speedy and decided to leave. Numerous members followed him, including KJ. Yair witnessed firsthand as Benji and KJ built a new gang out of the southside - Seaside.
Due to Yair's loyalty, levelheadedness, and overall enjoyable presence with them, Seaside invited him into the family.
Skills[]
- Meth cook- Yair has built up the quality of his meth strain to over 75% purity. His cooking is currently on hold due to excess amounts and no profit.
- Getaway driver- Yair is excellent at escaping the cops during chases. He is often the driver for bank heist getaways. He mentioned that his one weakness he needs to work on is losing Air1.
- Hacker- He is an expert hacker, shown to easily hack both Fleeca and Paleto bank systems.
Friends & Foes[]
- Mando Thompson: On the second day after arriving to the city, Yair first ran into Mando down in the canals by the southside. Mando told him about various ways to make some money for himself which was a favor Yair paid back by exclusively bringing back whatever he could get his hands on to Mando and the Ballas. Yair developed a huge amount of respect and loyalty towards Mando for teaching him the ways of the city and so continued to do whatever he could to help further Mando's goals, in the end however he decided to part ways with both Mando and the Ballas, not agreeing with the way the gang was being led.
- Abel: This was one of the first people Yair met when he arrived to the city and remained Yair's main partner in crime for quite a while. Abel and Yair worked together on almost everything they could get involved in but most of their time together was spent working on their shared drug operation which fell apart after Abel's sudden disappearance from the city. Abel went missing right after their last weed shipment was stolen by the Vagos but Yair still calls him from time to time, hoping they'll be able to link up again.
- Zoog "Kitty" Volkov Martinez: Yair was first introduced to Kitty after showing Mando his ability to quickly gather "bands" and he has now grown to become one of Yair's closest friends and main partner in crime upon joining the Ballas. You'd often find them at the cul de sac joking around or in the city doing various jobs together, theorizing about more efficent ways to conduct their buisness for maximum profits. At one point they shared a house together on Grove Street and jokingly make up two fourths out of the so called "MMG" (Min/max Gang), consisting of Yair, Kitty, David "TG" Rusky and Doc Brewer. Kitty's departure from Los Santos was something that struck Yair deeply, he often contemplated wether or not he should join his brother over in Mexico but in the end decided to stay behind, hoping that one day Kitty would return.
