Wu-Chang Idol (or previously known as "AmeriChang Idol") is a live-televisived talent show, with the winner receiving a record deal contract with Wu-Chang Records. The television show is produced and aired by Chang Gang Network.
Premise & Production[]
Wu-Chang Idol is a live-televisived talent show, which gives opportunities to contestants to share their talent and potentially win a record deal contract with Los Santos' biggest record label, Wu-Chang Records. Contestants are asked to showcase their singing capabilities with either a fully mixed song or (preferably) sing Acappella, meanwhile being in-front of some of the biggest musicians & executives in the city.
The show is recorded in various locations throughout Los Santos; the Cerberus Arena, Wu-Chang Records, the Vinewood Bowl, and the Los Santos Del Perro Pier.
The first season of the show predates the creation of Chang Gang Network (CGN), however the show was picked back up under the network.

Season 1[]
Many great contestants auditioned in season 1, but the unanimous winner was Austin Creed, however Patrit “Mete” Metemahaan was also the 2nd winner too, from his creative cover. Austin’s singing talents earned him a $250K record deal contract, presented by Mr. Chang.

Season 2[]
After a 2 year halt on producion from Season 1, CGN picked up the show to produce a new season. Season 2 was hosted by Harry Martinez, with the winner receiving a $500K record deal contract.
This season saw 10 contestants in total auditioning in front of reoccurring judges Mr. Kebun, Vinny Pistone, Quimbley "Q" Hayabusa, & a slew of guest judges. Rich Chanel was the winner of season 2, the seasons runner-up's were Dr Deshrespect who came in 2nd place & Ollivander Templeton who came in 3rd place.

Contestants were challenged to cover a song of any Wu-Chang artist. At the end of this episode, the two worst performing contestants will be eliminated.

Contestants were challenged to create an original song from scratch to be performed at the Vinewood Bowl. The winner of the best song would be the overall winner of Wu-Chang Idol: Season 2

Season 3[]
In June 2023, CGN announced a new season premiere to be set on July 6, 2023. Season 3 is hosted by Party Hardy, with the winner receiving a $1.5M record deal contract.
This season has 11 participants in total auditioning in front of reoccurring judges Liz Anya, Naomi Scott, Saint Noelle, Rich Chanel, King Ryan, Daphne Malone, Valentine Dalla, & multiple guest judges. Carmella Corset was the winner of season 3, the seasons runner-up was Zoë Bee.
