Vince Riggs is a character role-played by Hootie1985.

General Description[]

Vince Riggs is the Vice President of Chaos Legion MC.

The Story[]

To most people Vince Riggs is just another civilian, most often seen driving a Lime Green Tow truck titled Riggs Rig, or the Tow Bean.

More recently seen donning a black and red Prospect cut or kutte of the Chaos Legion, riding his Zombie Bobber or driving his Hellfire.

Riggs will tell 99.9 percent of people that he came to Los Santos after his failed dreams of becoming an actor led him to become the wheelman for a bank job back in the UK.

He believed that he was going to be a character part in an upcoming indie film titled “The Swift and the Agitated” a UK style homage to the other popular film franchise... He was given driver training, and some stunt work training in preparation for the role. Due to the new age indie nature of the film, he would also have been given first aid training in case of injuries acquired “on set”.

The story would end that it turns out the film was never a thing, and he was just being used as a scapegoat and target man for a crew's bank job. Realizing too late only after the handcuffs applied felt too tight and calls of “cut!” were not answered by any on set directors. Riggs spent some time in Prison, but due to overcrowding and good behavior he was released after only serving a small part of his sentence.

This would lead to the journey to Los Santos.

The truth of “Riggs” journey to Los Santos is a secret to all currently. His background and name are false.

Los Santos was supposed to be where Riggs laid low and ran a civilian life. This is what he did for over a year. Starting off relying upon what savings he brought with him, and a vehicle left to him by a in country contact.

Eventually Riggs took up working as a Tow driver for himself after purchasing a truck. Here he would ride around in anonymity helping the citizens, criminals and police alike with random jobs. He wanted to make everyone’s day slightly better when they were in a bad situation.

Eventually, being proud of the work, Riggs moved to painting his truck Lime Green. This was mainly as a way to be seen by racers in the city, as there would often be collisions between him and them when in a black tow truck.

This then led to Riggs’ Rigs a private tow company where success in monetary form became a thing.

Riggs then came into contact with members of San Andreas State Tow, namely Josh Grimm, Archie McCrae and Red Harrington. After a while Riggs was brought into the company as a Head Manager and there he proudly worked for a long time.

Spending time with Josh, who was also from the UK, allowed him to talk about good memories from back home and countless laughs and jokes were heard.

Around this time Riggs had his first contact with Misha Standal, a member of the Chaos Legion whereby he paid Misha a compliment on the chopper he was riding whilst waiting in traffic in the Tow Bean.

Shortly after Misha contacted Riggs and they spoke about bikes and lifestyle, Misha even allowed Riggs to test ride one of his collection of bikes a modded out café racer. The first time in a long time that Riggs got the sense of freedom that riding a bike gives to some.

Riggs would spend some time assisting Misha with a problem they had before parting ways for a while and continuing with his career in Towing.

Josh introduced Riggs to his sister Lucky Calder, and his partner Clara Mellow whom Riggs is proud to call friends now too. Helping out Lucky when he can and offering up assistance with her ever continuing quest to document accessible stores within Los Santos for the maps she creates throughout the year and hands out for free to help others.

For the most part with Clara he makes jokes about Josh’s love of Lord of the Rings which they often laugh at. Riggs is into Sci fi and fantasy stuff too but can appreciate the silliness of it all.

Riggs first came across the wrong side of the law of the city when an officer mistook Riggs arriving on scene to assist with a vehicle tow as providing assistance to someone and Riggs ended up at gun point. The officer ran Riggs through the system allowing no time for conversation to explain what was happening and Riggs was suddenly a Felon. Lack of knowledge on the process of law within Los Santos left Riggs feeling a bad taste in his mouth.

He couldn’t even get the officer into the courts to contest his charges, he felt let down. This then multiplied when he found out that Lucky had been coerced into giving access to her home to a crew of armed criminals on the pretense that it was on fire. Before being held up at gunpoint and having the home shot up and items stolen. The Police didn’t respond to this, they sent no one to the scene to collect evidence. They provided no support and left Riggs’ friend in a terrified state.

Multiple people called about the incident and nothing... So, Riggs suggested that Josh, Lucky and himself go to MRPD to make the report in person. Nothing. No officers came.

Then Riggs decided to take matters into his own hands, he rode his Zombie bobber past a PD vehicle that was sitting at an intersection, honked his horn a few times and suddenly there was an available officer. The one chasing him, Riggs rode back to MRPD and stopped got off his bike and got into a verbal altercation with the officer over their priorities. And pretty much forced the officer's hand into dealing with the armed robbery on Lucky.

Again, Riggs overall thoughts on the PD within the city lowered. When a cracked-out individual ran over Lucky at Burger Shot and executed her best friend and pet Rabbit. Again, the Police failed to do their basic jobs leading to no prosecution and no punishment for the named offender. Riggs tried to let the rule of law be followed through, this did not happen. So, Riggs turned to Misha and the Chaos Legion, People who he had spoken with and hung with a long time ago.

He wanted to hire them to deal with the criminal, to make him face some form of punishment for the acts he carried out. Sure, he would not remember the incident as he was the perpetrator of so many and his mind was probably addled with holes due to the drug use... But remove a toe or a digit, suddenly whenever this is seen the scumbag would know he had done something to warrant a response.

With this Riggs started associating more and more with the Chaos Legion, assisting with jobs and tows to even partying a little bit here and there.

After a particular “party” went awry, Riggs ended up in jail again accused of bank robbery.

Over time Riggs was asked to assist with certain things including being given the honor to assist with a full patch in event. During which being surrounded by a number of members of the club was offered the opportunity to prospect for the Chaos Legion... This caused great pride in Riggs, but also conflict... His hidden past was at risk, all he had worked to keep hidden could be released out like spilled liquid. How far the news would travel? Would they catch on? Could this cause a bigger fallout back home? Will the truth cause more chaos?

Riggs works his way as a prospect, learning the ropes and history. Whilst his own history works its way back to Riggs.
