Twerkquake (stylized in all caps) is a single by Los Santos singer Liz Anya featuring Los Santos musical artist Carmella Corset. It was released on December 23, 2021, through Wu-Chang Records as the lead single from Liz's second studio album, LIZPRINT.
Background[]
After Liz Anya released the rap song, "Ro Block Kidnapped & Robbed Mackenzie Hayes (the Cop) For Her PD Assault Rifle + PD Glock", it became an instant success and was arguably Liz's breakthrough to mainstream stardom. Liz began work on her sophomore album in late 2021. Throughout the following year, Liz slowly began recording and releasing singles from the upcoming album. The first being a collaboration with long-time friend Carmella Corset titled "TWERKQUAKE", a raunchy rap song that gave us a glimpse to what to expect for her next album, LIZPRINT (2023).
Controversy[]
Leading up to the release of LIZPRINT, Liz and Carmella had a falling out with Carmella claiming Liz "fell off" which led Liz to state that Carmella didn't write her line, "I might fuck around and swallow the class of 2043".
In an attempt to work things out with Carmella in person, Liz planned a meeting to talk things over. The two began arguing with each other which leads Liz to begin to leave. As Liz was walking across the street and attempting to get the last word, she was struck by a bus just before she could finish her sentence.
