Thomas Aoki is a character role-played by PearBroducts.
General Description[]
Thomas Aoki was a prospect for the Raiders MC.
Background[]
Born in New Hampshire to a mother who left him, Thomas Aoki grew up with a single father who eventually remarried but passed away shortly after Tom dropped out of college. Having maneuvered Tom out of the will, Tom's older half-brother managed to abscond with their father's estate to Malta. Tom moved down south and worked for a mechanic shop owned by the "Angels of Death MC". He often hung out with the MC until they refused to retaliate against the street gangster who had killed Tom's best friend in the MC. Out of revenge, Tom killed the gangster himself and fled to the Philippines for six years. Military veteran Hank Castle befriended Tom there and hired him into a private security firm, but passed away in late 2017. A year later, Tom returned to New England not knowing what happened to the MC. He got married once but has never met their child, who was born about four years before Tom moved to the rebuilt Los Santos.
History[]
Tom met the Raiders MC through Wally West, a friend of three years whom he had met gambling. Tom and Wally often ran sanitation with the Raiders MC, and the two of them became the Raiders MC's first hangarounds on January 20, 2024. ![]() Tom driving the tow truck for Lane's first "motorbike ride" in Los Santos on January 26, 2024 On January 25, 2024, Raiders MC President Lane tasked Tom to get her a stolen motorbike to ride. When lockpicking one didn't work, he and Patched Member Maxx McAllister instead had Lane sit on a non-functional motorbike atop the bed of their moving tow truck. Lane happily counted it as her first motorbike ride in Los Santos. In the Raiders MC chapter meeting on February 2, 2024, Lane brought forward hangarounds Wally and Tom to be considered as prospects. The Raiders MC unanimously voted 5-0 to make Wally a prospect (with Rue Day as his sponsor), and unanimously voted 5-0 to make Tom a prospect (with Wade Wilson as his sponsor). A sponsor is held accountable for their prospect's actions. ![]() Tom's prospecting ceremony into the Raiders MC on February 11, 2024 On February 11, 2024 in a surprise prospecting ceremony beginning at Chumash Pier, both Tom and Wally accepted Lane's offer to join the Raiders MC as their first two prospects. She forewarned them that from this point on, this commitment was for life with "only one way out". In Sandy, Lane tasked them to each catch a rattlesnake in a black silk bag and then walk back to Chumash together. At Chumash Pier, Wally and his sponsor Rue Day recited the prospecting oath. Tom and his sponsor Wade Wilson recited the prospecting oath. Rue and Wade then coaxed the snakes into biting prospects (which the prospects later had to name and take care of for the duration of their prospecting phase). The Raiders MC to took the poisoned prospects to the hospital to get treated with antivenom, then dressed the prospects up in their kuttes at the clothing store. Afterward in the chapter meeting, Tom (the only prospect still awake after storm) was allowed to listen in on their chapter meeting without speaking. ![]() Lane admitting her depressive state to the Raiders MC in their clubhouse on February 16, 2024 Following the chapter meeting on February 16, 2024, Lane shared with the club that she had entered a depressive state--and informed Tom and Wally that it happens to her every other month or so. On March 4, 2024, Tom admitted to Lane that he had slept with Tatum "Tate" Ross the day before Lane had nominated her as a Raiders MC hangaround--and that the relationship was getting more serious. Lane stated that had he told her before the hangaround nomination, Tate wouldn't have become a hangaround--and that Tate will be removed as a hangaround if the relationship continues. Lane also told Tom about her own personal rule that she'll always vote against prospecting or patching someone in if they're in a relationship with a current club member. Afterward, Tom broke the news to Tate that if she wants to become a Raiders MC member, then their relationship can't continue. She ultimately decided to end the relationship. But even though Tom hadn't broken a club rule, an angry Lane (who had already begun distrusting Tom for hiding his crush on Maxx McAllister from only her, Lane, and Wade) rebuked him that by breaking her personal rule he broke her trust. In the subsequent chapter meeting on March 8, 2024, Lane still motioned to remove Tate as a hangaround because her wording made it sound like she was sacrificing what she actually wanted (Tom) for the Raiders MC, making Lane doubt whether Tate would always put the club first over her feelings for Tom. At the conclusion of Lane's long censure of Tom's recent conduct, she said she felt he was better than this, sternly warned him that she'll never vote to patch him in until he earns her trust back, fined him $10,000, and dismissed him from chapter. Afterward, Tate was removed as a hangaround and the Raiders MC unanimously voted to enact Lane's newly proposed club rule banning romantic relationships between members. ![]() The Raiders MC celebrating their first jewelry High Risk run on March 11, 2024 On March 11, 2024, the Raiders MC turned in 1000 jewelry into the Pawnshop for their first-ever High Risk (tier 2) pawn run. After Wade Wilson lockpicked the unguarded pawn car (a Bravado) with an intermittent tracker on it, he struggled to drive it to five guarded pickup spots (Sandy Shores Airfield hangar, Grapeseed fish market, Del Perro Pier, the orange Observatory ball, and industrial area Ammu-Nation) with Lane in the passenger seat phoning orders and periodically repairing the car. A local occasionally shot at the pawn car. Tom and Mason Calaway drove to each pickup spot ahead of time to shoot down its three local guards with hunting rifles. Wally West drove passenger Rue Day (who gave police callouts) in a stolen backup car and drew away two police cars in Del Perro. Although Officer Matt Dark-Rhodes began chasing the pawn car, Wade lost him in a sandstorm. Mason and Tom used up their rifle ammo at the orange Observatory ball, so they had to run over the local guards at the final pickup spot at the industrial area Ammu-Nation. The whole Raiders MC convoy headed to the lumber yard docks, where Wade and Lane rode a motorboat to an island and dropped off the goods for a payout of $10,000 in rolled cash. Tom started a sexual relationship with Taryn Adler (Wade's old friend who was actively avoiding her) next. He nervously phoned his tow partner Wade on March 15, 2024 that Taryn was at the tow yard. Wade scooped up Tom in front of Taryn (making her furious) and was confused how she found him. Tom disclosed knowing Taryn from meeting her five years ago in Los Angeles, but kept their sexual relationship secret from Wade (and the rest of the Raiders MC). Tom was eventually removed as a Prospect from the Raiders MC on March 18, 2024. |
