The Russian Mafia (alias Bratva or The Russians) is a criminal organization operating in Los Santos.

History[]

The Russian Mafia was founded by Boris Ivanov and Anton Belov with the idea of forming a crime family like the one Boris used to be a part of back in Russia (Bratva). The Bratva claims the Terminal aka (the Docks) as their home territory. They are known to be extremely bold, often making no attempt to disguise their identity while committing crimes.

Chapter 1 (The Russian Grounds)
When The Russian Mafia was initially founded, nobody knew who they were and what was their purpose. However, Boris knew exactly what he had to do. The idea was to gain control, seize and conquer a stronghold in this city, and put a challenge to anybody who would stand in their way. And so they managed by seizing ownership of the Docks. Once these guidelines were set in place, Anton the second in command of the Bratva recruited four new members for the group Joeseph, Igor, Pavel & later Stan. At this time, they began trying to lay claim on multiple properties in the city, along with mainly extorting businesses, stealing from cops in broad daylight, and vandalizing property from people who disrespected them. The Russian Mafia quickly became known for being reckless and blasting "Russian Hard Bass" music while escaping the police. After continuously showing their brutality towards the police and other gangs, the russian mob now had established themself as a group not be messed with.

Chapter 2 (The Bratva)
Making a name for yourself is pretty easy but holding the reputation for a long time is a really difficult task. After multiple wars with different groups, crews & gangs The Bratva was all known around the city of Los Santos. But the Bratva wanted to be more than a known group so they decided to get bigger & stronger by recruiting more loyal members. These new members were Bogo, Motya, Vlad, Olga, Doki, Miroslav, Aleks & Ivan. This massive number of members is explainable through active searching for Russian people & the inactivity of Anton, Igor, Joe, Stan, and the death of Pavel to compensate their numbers. But not all new members were loyal to the Bratva. E.g Ivana new member didn't like the way Boris was leading the Bratva so he decided to leave The Bratva and joined a rival gang The Misfits. Another member Vlad angered Boris multiple times because of multiple reasons, because of that he was afterward kicked out from the Bratva by Boris. And at last Olga didn't felt needed in the Bratva and was frustrated by that. So she decides to leave The Bratva and join Flippy's Crew.

Chapter 3 (New Blood)
After the big recruitment phase, the Bratva stagnated and later declined in every aspect of being a criminal organization. The Docks where temporarily build to a drifting track. A couple of members have left The Bratva or stayed inactive. Even the current leader Boris didn't come to the city very often. But then Boris nephew showed up to the city, his name was Dio, and united with his uncle and to make the Bratva strong as before. So they recruited 2 new members Stanislav, Nina and a former member Vlad.

Leanbois War
Crafting Table Shootout July 24, 2019 Boris and Anton were on the roof of the crafting table, armed with AK-47s, and taxing anyone who wanted to use the building. Lang Buddha and Curtis Swoleroid saw them and approached them to let them know that The Leanbois own the crafting table. They discussed who had the right to own it both sides mentioned that they are poor and need the money to pay their debts. Anton tried to work on Buddha's conscience, stating that the Russians only had "Adidas" and that Buddha has an expensive sports car. Buddha said he had a $100,000 down payment on his car and will lose his car anyway. Both sides came to no agreement, so Buddha and Curtis decided to attack them, and take over the crafting table. There was a shootout between the two groups afterward. Curtis shot Anton and Boris and then stole their weapons. The Leanbois declared war on The Russian Mafia after the crafting table shootout.^[3] "Look comrade Buddha, is no problem. We're gonna hold down shop да, you want to have problem? Is problem. simple да?" - Boris Ivanov Ellie's Kidnapping July 27, 2019 The Russian Mafia kidnapped Ellie Dono due to Lang Buddha stealing multiple firearms from them after a shootout. The Russians interrogated Ellie to get information about Buddha’s house and where his weapons are located. One of the Russians threatened to cut Ellie’s finger off if she lied. The Russians tried to convince Ellie to find their stolen firearms (full-size AK-47 & a small one.) The Russians brought her to Al Saab's house and another house across the street, but she had no keys for either. Ellie opened the only house for which she had a key for; an old stash house that was basically empty - weed, oxy, and miscellaneous things were the only items stored in it. After robbing the stash house, the Russians let her know that when Buddha was around that they would attempt to rob him again. The Russians also informed Ellie that one of them would hang Buddha upside down, and "drain him through his testicles." The Russians left the interaction, and let Ellie go her way.^[4] Russians "Taxes" to Leanbois July 28, 2019 The Russian Mafia drove on Lean Street and offered to pay the "tax" to Denzel Williams and Ellie Dono. Buddha said on the radio he doesn't trust them and thought it might be a trap. A brief conversation between Ellie, Denzel, and the Russians sparked a deadly firefight, resulting in Ellie and Denzel being shot down by Anton. Buddha managed to shoot down Anton when he tried to drive away, and then picked up Denzel to drive him to Grandma's House to avoid cops. On the way to Grandma's House, Buddha ran over Boris, and Denzel was then revived in the house.^[5] ^[6] The Death of Pavel August 12, 2019 Pavel Voronin spotted a white-colored vehicle driving through the docks and informed everyone on the radio; describing every turn and movement the vehicle took. Boris and Anton tried to locate it, but couldn't follow it. Pavel was on top of a big warehouse when the vehicle tried to roll upon him, and gunshots followed after. Boris asked on the radio if he knew how many people were in the car, but couldn't get an answer from Pavel, as he was shooting the car. During his shots at the car, he was unaware that he had been joined on the roof by Curtis Swoleroid, who shot him from behind. Pavel tried to fight back, but couldn't land a shot. Pavel was then shot off the roof, landing face-first on the concrete. He was taken to Pillbox Medical and placed in the ICU. Three days later after this incident, he succumbed to his injury. ^[7] ^[8] ^[9] Pavel's Last Words on Radio: - Pavel: "He's going oceanside! (beep) People getting out of car, it's gonna get hot! (beep)" - Boris: "How many? (beep)" - Pavel: "If I fucking see! (beep)" - Boris: "3 or 4? (beep)" - Pavel: "It's a fucking........ (beep)" Special Delivery for Buddha August 17, 2019 Boris had planned one of the greatest drive-bys in Los Santos history. Stan Ruthenburg, Joeseph Pazkowski, Igor Kirilov and Boris "The Bear" Ivanov were the four-man team to execute it. Stan drove up to Lean Street with a "Los Santos Hoard House" truck, and inside the storage unit were Boris and his comrades, armed with machine guns. Almost all of the Leanbois were talking on Lean Street, minding their own business. Stan stopped in front of their house. Ricky Robins and Lang Buddha immediately pulled out their guns. Stan greeted them and said that he had a "Special Delivery" for Lang Buddha. Ricky demanded that Stan needs to get off the truck, but instead, Stan opened the backdoor of the truck with all the armed Russians. Curtis Swoleroid was immediately gunned down before he could react. Buddha immediately shot Stan, penetrating Stan's skull. Ricky got a couple of shots against Boris and Joeseph before Igor shot Ricky down. Ellie Dono tried to help Ricky, but couldn't land shots from afar. Buddha shot Boris and Joseph down, and Igor shot from behind the truck and finished Buddha. Ellie then got the upper hand, landing more shots than Igor. Igor was fairly injured but was able to outrun Ellie and flank her from behind. Ellie couldn't react quickly enough and was ultimately gunned down by Igor. As the last survivor of this battle, Igor took his fallen comrades from the scene in their truck.^[10] ^[11] ^[12] East Side Ballaz joining the War! August 23, 2019 Emmanuel "Big E" Biggs current leader of the East Side Ballaz is a very close friend of Boris. They got to know each other at the beginning of their crime careers in Los Santos. After some time, they both could trust each other more and more and their respective organizations. At the time East Side Ballaz had a long-term conflict with the Leanbois. Leanbois bought a row of houses in Grove Street (Ballaz Territory) and called it "Lean Street". This problem couldn't be resolved because of the aggressiveness of their previous leaders Curtis Davis III & Damian Frost and the multiple provocations of the Leanbois. So Big E was certain when he found out about the war between The Russian Mafia & Leanbois he definitely wanted to join the war. So after there Agreement to join forces, they drove up to multiple cars and interrogated them, because they suspected there would be a member of the Leanbois in it. Later in the day, they drove by a green jeep, inside were Ellie, Denzel, Curtis, Buddha. Big E drove back knowing he heard Buddha's & Curtis's voices somewhere near. In an instant shots were fired on both sides, but no one got seriously hurt in that drive by.^[13] Defend the Motherland! September 3, 2019 Boris was still distracted by his phone call unaware of the gunshots fired from the docks. He realized something was up and took his assault rifle out looking for enemies to kill. He spots a car from the distance and starts firing bullets at the driver. The driver was coincidentally Arush Patel "Speedy" Santana a close ally of the Leanbois and the current leader of the Vagos. Speedy got out quickly from his car but not quick enough to save him from getting riddled from bullets. Boris knew he was not the only Russian in the docks and assumed the other Russians could be on the roof above him because of multiple gun shots fired around him. So he shouted (Motherfck.. if you hear me on the roof, I got one...). Boris's* assumption was confirmed when his overstressed righthand man Anton tried to reply but was too quiet to understand. Boris then shot from paranoia many times at the vehicle he shot earlier because of the assumption there was still someone inside. However, nobody was in it... Boris yelled repeatedly at Anton that he should cover the roads & the ladder so he can get a save passage up to the roof. But Anton didn't hear him... After some shouting & shooting, Boris got a message from Anton on his phone sending him the number of their radio frequency so they can finally talk over the radio. Boris then finally meets up with Anton & Big E on the roof. Anton informs Boris that the location of the attackers is on the ship next to them and that they all should get a car and leave the scene if it gets too dangerous. Boris, Anton & Big E got into the car and picked up Stan. Speedy was still lying on the road where Boris shot him so they picked him up and interrogated him later. After the Interrogation, they left him in a warehouse near the docks.^[14]

Vagos War

Aztecas surrendered! September 27, 2020 Tom Ryan leader of the Aztecas met with Bogo, Vlad, Dio & Stanislav to officially surrender to The Russian Bratva and handed over 150.000 $ & two Draco's to Dio.

South Side Ballas Conflict
The Death of Big E March 22, 2020 The Russian Mafia & East Side Ballaz (now South Side Ballas) were at war against the Vagos. But Boris & Big E got into a huge argument over the current war against the Vagos and it led up to a massive shootout between The Russian Mafia & East Side Ballaz. Big E was shot by Boris and died later in the Pillbox Medical Center. The long-lived alliance with East Side Ballaz ended that day.

Flippy's Crew Conflict
Olga left The Bratva September 9, 2020 Both The Bratva and Olga had internal battles with each other for some time. Olga was frustrated with the Russian Mafia because she was left out in most of the jobs or mostly ignored by her group and that made her feel disrespected. Boris was also frustrated with her, Olga mentioned several times that she wanted to take part in jobs. But when Boris contacted her, she was already busy with her own business. The frustration grew on both sides so they decided to meet in the office of the Russian Mafia and talk about it again. The conversation turned into a heated discussion in which both sides could not agree. In the end, Boris called her a coward and that was the last straw that broke the camel's back. Olga stormed out of the office shouting she's out of the Bratva while Boris response by ordering his nephew Dio to kill her but Dio asked his uncle if he is really sure about this. This unsureness from Dio gave Olga a big enough time window to escape. She later joined Flippy's Crew who also is her boyfriend. That sparked a big hatred against Olga & Flippy. "Im out of this shit you guys can suck my dick" - Olga Sazkaljovich Vinewood Hills Drive-By & Siege of The Docks September 17, 2020 The Bratva didn't want to escalate the situation with Olga any further but after multiple attacks from Flippy’s Crew, they retaliated. Dio, Bogo, Vlad & Stanislav drove with 2 vehicles through Vinewood Hills searching for Flippy’s Crew. After a 10min drive, Dio & Bogo found them & aimed guns at two of them. But out of nowhere, shots were fired at their vehicle. Dio was instantly shot down. Bogo drove then off to get more distance and recover from his injuries. Vlad & Stanislav came then from the back to help and shot them all down. After the drive-by, they knew that Flippy would take revenge so they armed themselves with heavy artillery such as Drako's, AK-47 & Heavy Pistols. They then waited at their headquarters (The Docks) for Flippy's Crew. Many shots came from the boat closest to their headquarters. The Bratva was already aware of who the shots came from but didn't know how to get to them. The situation only got worse when, after a long wait, the police showed up and tried to clarify the situation. Several shots were fired and several police officers were injured. As a result, both sides decided to leave. Goodbye Olga. September 21, 2020 After multiple shootouts with Flippy’s Crew, they finally got the person who caused all this…... Olga. Boris, Bogo & Stanislav brought her to the smeltery to be finally blooded out of The Bratva. Both Boris & Olga confronted each other about what all happened. But all of that didn’t matter. Boris took his hatchet and struck her multiple times. He asked Stanislav if he wanted to prove himself and ordered him to chop off Olga’s arms & head with his hatchet. Stanislav agreed to do it and began chopping off her arms & head. He dropped her then in the smeltery. The Bratva, pleased with the outcome, decided to leave. But in the end, Olga managed to survive the execution.
