The Neon Circus is a group of clowns, artists, tarot readers, goths, medics, chefs, comics, music artists, animal caregivers and other performers in Los Santos - a home for the weirdos and misfits of the city who have something special to offer but nowhere to shine.
Origin[]
Founded on March 18th, 2025 by Sooty Gamwich, Idol Lunas, and Bringle Dingus, The Neon Circus started as a collaboration between various clowns and Neon Tigers members, with a goal to take over and revitalize Del Perro Pier and create a thriving entertainment/party scene within Los Santos.
Rules and Philosophy[]
The Neon Circus is not a gang - it is a collection of likeminded individuals, working together. Whatever a member's goals and dreams are (legal or criminal), The Circus works to support it and make it happen. Members are encouraged to find a niche within the Circus, often with a "Neon" title to accompany their role. Membership in other groups is still permitted, and criminal activity is not expected/required.
The Neon Jungle[]
The Neon Jungle Wildlife Rescue is a wildlife rehabilitation effort that falls under the Neon Circus umbrella. It is headed by Bringle Dingus and Sloane Monroe, with help from Idol Lunas, Dang McNabb, and occasional assistance of other Circus members. The Neon Jungle currently cares for various bird species, reptiles, and aquatic animals with the aim of releasing animals back into the wild whenever possible.
As The Circus expands, the members of the Jungle hope to eventually obtain more exotic species and fill the traditional circus role of "tamers" - but with a special focus on animal care and quality of life, including raising awareness via ambassadorship programs with animals that for whatever reason are unable to be released. They are also working to start sponsorship programs for these animals, and even a "Jungle Scouts" program to earn badges for conservation work.
The Neon Jungle has been met with widespread praise, interest, and support since its founding - especially from both local governments, who have provided the not-for-profit organization with significant funding and benefits. In April 2025, BCMO granted Neon Jungle the use of a residential property in Grapeseed which Sloane converted into a new facility - giving the Jungle a larger and more public-facing space to operate out of, allowing them to move out of Sooty's basement and expand their rescue efforts. Since then, Neon Jungle has tracked 38 species of birds and reptiles across the island (both native and invasive), including 2 endangered species and 6 vulnerable species of animals.
Trivia[]
- "The Great Egg Hunt" event organized by Neon Jungle for World Circus Day on April 19th, 2025 sparked robberies and violence, created gang wars and "egg turfs," and caused a level of chaos no one in the city could have ever anticipated. Helicopters, Class 2 weaponry, and myriad underhanded tactics were all used in the hunt for plastic eggs as participants competed for $1,250,000 in prizes - effectively creating a drama-filled city-wide heist event.
- Despite the violence, World Circus Day and The Great Egg Hunt were overwhelmingly positively received by the people of Los Santos and netted the Circus a profit of over $400,000.
