The Kaneshiro Clan is a Yakuza founded and ran by Mary Domino-Mushkin.
Origin[]
The Kaneshiro Family is a Yakuza formed out of the ashes of the Yokai Racing Crew. Mary returned to Los Santos having been kidnapped and held hostage by the Yakuza with her wife Alex. When she came back Yokai and everything she had was gone. Despite the traumatic experience of being kidnapped, Mary learnt a lot and was inspired by how the Yakuza was run.
Starting from nothing Mary wanted to create something new, something better, more powerful, more ruthless. Without the weaknesses or drawbacks of Yokai. What better way to protect herself if the Yakuza ever came hunting or to take revenge, but her own Yakuza.
Mary chose the name Kaneshiro 金城, meaning golden castle for the name of her Yakuza clan, it was time to leave Yokai behind.
