The Funhouse is home to Chatterbox and a frequent place of gathering for the Clowns.

Description[]

The Funhouse is a large farmhouse and ranch located in Grapeseed serving as a major meeting place, and base of operations, for The Funhouse Clowns, and previously the Clowncil and New Clown Order. While many Clowns have had access to the Funhouse for events and other activities, it is considered the primary residence of Chatterbox and Ray "Hiccups" Mond.

Two giant signs, shaped like Chatterbox's mask, adorn both the front and back patios of the building, and light up at night. Shooting these signs cause them to stream open flame.

The Funhouse is a notable location as well for being the former home of "Grandma", who would treat injured individuals seeking to avoid police at hospitals in the city. Many Funhouse Clowns now have received medical training from Grandma to perform the same services.

History[]

After Ray Mond left the city, Chatterbox began a project in the Funhouse basement, digging out a massive underground space. This space is currently locked behind a door in the basement, and Chatterbox has the key. He secured power by stealing it from neighboring Grapeseed buildings, as well as a generator from Los Santos International Airport.

The underground space was used for several activities, including clown games and a wedding. It was the headquarters of the Great Republic of Grapeseed prior to Mumbles Fumbles becoming mayor of Blaine County.

Jagger (Chatterbox's original, non-clown persona) revoked access for everyone except himself and Ray. After interrogating many clowns about recent events, including the partial burning of the Funhouse, Jagger selected some clowns to get new keys.

Funhouse Games[]

In February 2025, Chatterbox selected a smaller, trusted group of clowns to work for him on a new initiative with the Funhouse: the Funhouse Games. The governmental basement was remodeled into a new arena for clown games. In addition, the employees each received a clown van to help coordinate activities related to the clowns. Chatterbox also obtained blueprints to exclusively manufacture melee weapons to sell across the city.

Trivia[]

The Funhouse often has O'Neil locals who tend to be violent towards the Clowns and others when they visit.
Chatterbox routinely uses the labyrinthine floor plan of the house to escape pursuing cops while on foot.
Chatterbox stole the two outdoor recliners^[1] from the Procopio Drive house they owned and brought them to the balcony. The two chairs are considered the "thrones" for King Chatterbox and Queen Hiccups.
Sooty Gamwich accidentally burnt part of the Funhouse while setting a fire in the fireplace. The chimney was not well-maintained, helping the fire spread to multiple parts of the building.
