The Billabong, sometimes referred to as The Billy or The Bong, is the former Bondi Boys MC base of operations, and now part of Hades's turf.

Overview[]

The main center of operations for the Bondi Boys MC (BBMC) was situated within a gated city block bordered by the Vespucci Beach boardwalk to the west and Magellan Avenue to the east. This area, commonly referred to as The Billabong or The Billy, features a lengthy alley flanked by rows of beach houses. The rear wall of this enclave overlooks the Puerto Del Sol Marina, with its entrance accessible from Melanoma Street.

The Billabong served as the BBMC's headquarters, where the club routinely conducted meetings. Warning signs posted at the gate deter trespassers, and the club actively repels intruders, including law enforcement officers who encroach upon their territory and refuse to depart. Since its inception, the BBMC has laid claim to the Billabong as their turf.

Due to the prevalence of illicit activities in and around their territory, the BBMC staunchly defended their turf. Even during periods of calm, they maintained a defensive stance regarding the location. Access to the Billabong was considered a privilege for outsiders, and strangers who ventured too close are met with threats to dissuade them or, in some cases, physical harm to reinforce boundaries.

History[]

Amid escalating aggression and criminal activities from the Bondi Boys MC, the previous San Andreas government was compelled to enact the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act). In response, Jack Ripley, a Trooper Sergeant of the San Andreas State Police at the time, was given orders to issue a final warning to the BBMC to cease all group activities in Vespucci, threatening forced removal. Refusing compliance, the BBMC defiantly mailed back a printed HD photo of the entire club making obscene gestures. Consequently, the government deployed the military to The Billabong, launching an assault with tanks and jets. Some BBMC members relocated, some were captured and either placed in prison or were deported to their home country, while others remained in Los Santos but were barred from public group activities with known ex-BBMC affiliates, ultimately leading to the club's downfall. Four and a half years later, The Billabong sat vacant, with former Vagos members tagging graffiti on its walls and homes.

On January 15th, 2024, Barry Benson reached out to Irwin Dundee, Barry stated he and his new club, the ADMC, decided they would not claim The Billabong as turf, choosing instead to establish at a different location instead. He suggested that Dundee reclaim The Billabong, pointing out that it had always been his territory. Barry believed that Dundee was the rightful leader to re-establish the BBMC, rather than allowing a different group to take over. Dundee had already been in talks with former members of the Bang Boys Syndicate to reform in the two weeks prior. After a week of careful consideration he began rebuilding the BBMC, with Tommy Puff and James Kelly as his first two recruits and new founders of the newest iteration of the club. Together, they reclaimed the Billabong, reasserting control over Vespucci and declaring it the official turf of the reconstituted BBMC.
