That's Weird: Oddities Shop and Ghost Tours is a company found, owned, and ran by Cassandra Silverton.
History[]
The company was founded in June 2021 and received their business license in July 2021.
Founding That's Weird[]
Cassandra Silverton founded Thats Weird in the summer of 2021. Her original plan was to wait, but after her first test ghost tour she was pointed in the direction of getting a vendors license so that she could start selling at the markets.
Once she saw that people liked her products she began drafting a business proposal with the help of James Haze.
Her proposal was submitted to the Mayor's Office, during the Denzel Williams administration (a fact that she will still complain about). After struggling for a few weeks to get in and present the proposal, she managed to present just in time. A few weeks later she called the person she presented to to find she had been approved for a business license.
She still designs every product herself- part of the problem with control issues.
Markets[]
Thats Weird- and by extension Cas, were a staple of the markets from June of 2021 till they closed April of 2022. The say after they closed Cas still calls 'one of the worst days of her life.'
She prides herself on how long Thats Weird has lasted, and how some of her employees went off to start their own business (but then may add something like 'cause they realized they could do it better then I could.' So pride may have been the wrong word.)
Pretty much all of her friends she met at the farmers market. Driving back in forth from Deans World to Paleto even inspired a tune she will hum sometimes- and later hired Giles Dickinbottom to help her make into an actual song called Driving To Paleto.
Post Markets[]
It took a while to get everything back on its feet with Thats Weird, but Cas never stopped running tours, listening for news about store fronts. Anything she could do to get her employees paid again.

Eventually she got the store open and running again. Constantly trying to look out for her employees and grow.
Tarot readings[]
At the start, she would only do tarot readings when someone asked. However after watching others and practicing she has becomes one of the most active tarot readers at Thats Weird.
Ghost Tours[]
She has been running ghost tours for over a year, despite trying to train others to also run the tour she is still the only one consistently running the ghost tours.
Each location on the tour is a spot she has personally investigated.
