From The Shadows, The Rooster Bares A New Talon

Introducing The Stormlord - Shadow

After mayhem from a business night and paying out his employees, Lang decides to finally show the hidden basement to Nino Chavez and Humberto “Don” Pecorino. He leads them downstairs, warning them both to keep quiet as the floors are paper thin. Lang pushes open the hidden door, revealing the basement to Nino and Don. They both quietly follow Lang through the massive basement, through a library, an arcade, and finally to a hall of rooms. Lang opens the first bedroom and shows them his armor, the Stormlord’s armor. Don is appalled, unsure where he is. Lang quickly explains that he used to run a “terrorist organization,” but it’s a lot to explain. But this is the best way to have the nerds truly follow and commit to the Rooster’s Rest.

Lang leads them deeper into the basement, showing them where several underground tunnels connect to Rooster’s Rest. He continues to explain his vision for the Adventuring Party of nerds, using his terroristic past as a roleplay ploy to keep them hooked into the business. Land continues to explain that the organization was named, “Talon,” and was passed down from generation to generation in Lang’s family. Land mentions that Talon has been involved in major events in Los Santos’s history, leading Don to ask what exactly. Lang asks if they've heard about the bombing of the FIB Building. Donny asks if Tony or Saab knows about everything. Lang says that they know very little, but Denzel, Ellie, and a few others were a large part of Talon.

Nino asks about the video game arcade, so Lang mentions that one of the past members of Talon is the mysterious owner of the Digital Den. He tells them that he wants to bring Talon back in a different way, but using the Adventuring Party as minions for the cause. Lang continues to the hidden room in the library, where the ancient book that contains everything about Talon is on display. He informs them about the oaths and how he intends to gain control over the Adventuring Party in this manner. Nino is concerned about the secrecy, but Lang tells them that the level-up system is the perfect way to reveal bits at a time. Lang takes them to the hidden room in the arcade, where the armory is. Lang shows them the mask that his great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather wore. Nino reaches for the mask, but Lang quickly stops him and tells him that, "chaos might ensue, the world might end, who fucking knows.” Lang sees the ancient mask as a way of controlling the Adventuring Party, as the previous iteration did not have a group of like them to act as 'slaves' as Donny puts it.

Nino and Donny agree that the Adventuring Party is perfect for what Lang envisions Talon to be now that they know this part of the Rooster’s Rest. Minions that do Talon’s bidding, who already worship The Stormlord, and who Lang can continue to brainwash. Don and Nino seem committed to the cause, but Lang must build an army before Talon takes control.

Hello, Friend

Lang, Don, and Tony Corleone meet up with Jacob Harth up north in Sandy Shores. As the owner of Digital Den, Jacob tells them that he needs computers, speakers, broken electronics, etc. Tony asks Jacob about his visit to the Legion Square Fleeca and how their electronic systems were fried. Jacob asks if he wants to know how to fix or disable them. Tony says he’ll pay for information on how to do both, even telling Jacob that he will give broken electronics as gifts for the Digital Den. They decide to meet again when the Digital Den opens, where Tony will bring as many electronics as the group can get during the night. As they depart, Lang calls out to Jacob and raises his fist

Brother to Brother

Lang texts Denzel that they need to talk, and they meet by themselves outside Weazel News. Denzel tells Lang about progress with Pegasus Concierge. Lang informs Denzel that Donny and Nino saw the basement of Rooster’s Rest. Lang wants to know where Denzel is with regards to Talon, the crew, and their endeavors. Before they move forward, Lang wants to know if this is still what he wants. Denzel replies that he’ll always be his brother, so Lang reaffirms what he expects about crew loyalty and disregarding the past. Denzel tells Lang that he’s in and gets updated on two current endeavors that the crew is doing: number one is gathering information on the Store Clerk who holds bands of cash, and number two is information about hitting the Fleeca banks. Denzel wants to bring back his “Cleaner” persona, being smarter about doing everything he does moving forward. Lang says that he also plans on being smarter for making money, illegally and legally. The duo depart at an understanding, and they raise their fists towards each other.

Unlocking New Doors[]

Unlocking New Doors

A New Opportunity

After receiving the Laptop from Jacob Harth, Lang Buddha, Nino Chavez, Eddie Delish, Sven Snusberg, Al Saab, and Tony Corleone have a meeting about some newly acquired information. Tony explains that the laptop can be used to hack and unlock the secured door in a Fleeca Bank. Saab and Nino tell them that they know how to acquire the laptop directly through the black market. They visit Hayes Autos and use their wifi to access the black market, where VPNs and Laptops are sold for 25 and 100 Shungite respectively. The boys discuss a plan to hit a Fleeca bank by disguising themselves as Technicians who will be inspecting the damages done to the bank by a robbery prior.

Diamond Hands

During Lang’s shift at Rooster’s Rest, Dean Watson, known to Lang as the owner of Burger Shot, shows up to speak. Dean says that he has a business proposal for him, so they drive to the Diamond Casino and Resort. Lang is left in shock when he finds out that Dean is the owner of the Casino. Dean leads him on a tour, and they walk around the Blackjack, Roulette, and Poker tables.

Dean says that he earns a lot of money through gambling and is willing to invest in the Rooster’s Rest in the future, handing Lang 8 VIP passes for the Casino’s opening night.

A Work Order

After the meeting with Dean, Lang heads to Grapeseed with Humberto “Don” Pecorino. Nino, Tony, Lang, and Don change into appropriate technician outfits and get ready in the stolen Water and Electricity Supply van. After some arguing and adapting the plan, they arrive at MRPD and talk to State Trooper Tony Andrews. Disguised as technicians, the crew tells Andrews that they're hired to work at the Legion Square Fleeca Bank. After going over the documents, Andrews allows them to go to work. The crew arrives at the Legion Square Fleeca while Tony waits nearby with a hostage just in case problems arise. Without wasting time, Lang and Nino attempt to hack the vault door using the laptop. However, the encryption is too difficult for them, so they try to leave after a few attempts and rising tensions with the police officers at the scene.

Welcome To The Home Of The Stormlord

At the end of a stressful day, Lang and Don return to Rooster’s Rest, where Lando Stormborn is sitting alone. They request him to work on different dice gambling games that can make the business more profitable. Lang asks Lando to follow, as they head down into the basement. Lang and Don threaten Lando on what he is about to see and what it would cost if he spoke about it to anyone.

Then, Lang opens the hidden door for Lando, revealing the main meeting room, the office, the library, and tunnel access. Lang tells him that he and the rest of the Adventuring Party will get the opportunity to meet The Stormlord soon.

A New Quest: Searching For Stormlord[]

A New Quest: Searching For Stormlord

18 Feb 2021

Guild Meeting

Lang Buddha has all of his Adventuring Party employees of Rooster’s Rest meet him in the staff room for an important meeting. Before the meeting begins, Gloryon the Storm Cleric says he can’t perform Clayvon Barksdale’s ritual tomorrow because of a scheduled Dungeons and Dragons game so they plan for it when destiny is ready. Yager Demonblood the Warlock says he’s been happier working since they’ve started getting paid and proposes opening the restaurant 24/7. While Lang respects his hustle, he voices that sometimes it’s good to have time away from work and doing other things in the city.

Lang quickly changes the subject, asking the group of nerds to stop going OOC (out-of-character) around him. He prefers the interesting adventurers that their characters are, not the nerdy reality, so Lang proposes becoming their personas, titling it as a class unlock. He believes that the group of nerds have proven themselves but before they can dive deep into the reality of Rooster’s Rest, the nerds must commit to their characters, offering them an opportunity to leave behind their life as losers and truly level-up. But moving forward, this is no longer a game.

Large-flower-divider

Into the Stormlord’s Basement

Lang stops the Adventuring party before they do a blood pact and leads them downstairs into the janitor’s closet. They’re all confused, searching around the room as Lang tries to set the mood for himself. But it’s not just a storage closet, pushing open the secret door into the hidden basement, the home of the Stormlord. Lang tells the nerds that this is where the Stormlord resides and manifests in his human form. The nerds follow Lang on a tour, quickly learning how ancient and powerful this building truly is as they venture through the library. The arcade catches the attention of nerds as the room is filled with various game cabinets but they’re more meaningful than what meets the eye. The arcade games are actually training simulators for skills in the city.

Before they get stuck in the arcade, Lang pulls them away and leads them into the tunnel entrance below the basement. Through this entrance, several tunnels will connect here to various underground locations in the city. Demonblood tells Gloryon the Cleric to cast Zone of Truth, where after rolling for a DC check, you must tell the truth on a failure. So, Lang and all the employees do an honesty check to ensure trust in the group. After their checks, Demonblood jokingly asks for a sword, and Lang says no but vows he has a gift for him.

The group of nerds follows Lang into the arcade. He tells Lando that he hasn’t even seen this, hopping into a hidden cabinet where a secret door leads below the arcade into the hidden armory. Inside the armory sits a mysterious, mystic demon mask. Demonblood is drawn in by the mask’s power, but it will only be given if he can follow the Stormlord’s orders. But this mask is not the only legendary item of the Rooster’s Rest basement. The nerds follow Lang out of the hidden armory and into the library, entering another secret door and descending into the hidden library. The Book of Talon proudly sits on display. Lang tells the nerds that an ancient organization operated out of the basement, Talon. They were the talons of the rooster, doing the dirty work for the rooster’s head, the Stormlord. Inside the Book of Talon is an oath, and after reading the oath of Talon, you are bound to the organization and the Stormlord by blood. In the next few days, the Adventuring Party will meet the Stormlord, but in the meantime, Lang, Umberto “Don” Pecorino, and Nino Chavez will be training them to get in shape. Moving forward, Lang will be open and honest with them, expecting the same in return.

Before they leave, Lang has one last area to show them. On one side is a holy shrine where anyone can pray and speak with the Stormlord. On the other side are the former quarters for the Stormlord and Talon. Lang leads them to the Red Mask’s old room, showing them the former Talon member’s old mask. She was the right hand of the Stormlord, one of the most powerful women in Los Santos. Then Lang leads them into Stormlord’s room, where his armor is on display for them to worship. The Adventuring Party vows silence about this basement, so Lang rewards them with 500,000 rested XP, unlocking talent trees and ready to advance their classes.

Epilogue - Old Friends

Lang locks the basement behind the departing Adventuring Party and returns to the bedrooms in the hidden basement. He admires his armor, Shadow’s armor. “We will reunite again soon,” vows Lang. He walks into Red Mask’s former room, staring at the mask of an old friend. “I will make you proud, Ellie,” he promises.

Glory To The Stormlord

After showing their dedication and loyalty to Rooster’s Rest, Lang Buddha decides the Adventuring Party is ready to meet the Stormlord, formally known as Shadow, head of the Rooster and leader of Talon. Lang tells Lando Stormborn to collect the party and wait in room nine of the Rooster’s Rest. While they wait, he and Humberto “Don” Pecorino change into their Talon personas, heading into the basement.

Soon, a masked Nino Chavez walks into room nine, introducing himself with many names, the Unknown, the Black Mask, the Navigator, and the Big Cock, instructing the Adventuring Party to follow him. Nino leads them to the closet door and Yager Demonblood unlocks the door using his Shadow Smasher, allowing them to proceed into the basement. Waiting on the table is Guardian, Don’s persona, who introduces the Stormlord and prepares the Adventurers to meet their master.

The Stormlord presents himself to his followers, commemorating them for their hard work dedicated to the cock. He continues to explain that the people of this world are lost, blinded by a light and false promises but these few adventurers were chosen to return darkness to this world. Their journey will be filled with turmoil and tribulations but there will be victories as well. The Adventuring Party kneels for the Stormlord, praising glory to the cock.

Stormlord instructs them to follow their Emperors, Nino, Don, and Lang, to achieve max level and rule the city with an iron fist. For now, the nerds return to their rooms to await instructions from their emperors.

The Way of the Rooster

After Rooster’s Rest ends its services, Lang brings a tour bus to gather the nerds for their training session. They arrive at a beach near the Lighthouse. Lang, Nino, and Don start the session with fitness exercises including swimming, stretching, and yoga. When the nerds are in-shape, Nino and Don showcase the art of dodging punches. Each nerd is brought to the stage and tries the dodging technique.

At the end of the session, Don accidentally knocks out Leyla, so they head back to the city. The next training session will be held before the wrestling tournament.

The Face of the Rooster

Later that night, Lang runs into Ellie Dono. Lang shows Ellie the new changes to Rooster’s Rest and tells her about how successful the business has been since they started. Lang also tells her about the growth and revamp of Talon with the nerds. Ellie is excited and proud to hear their goals come to life. Lang offers her an opportunity to be the CEO of Rooster’s Rest because she would be the perfect face of the establishment as Lang still has doubts about Petunia Brookshire.

Lang would like Ellie for the position because it wouldn’t cause problems to the business if Lang is caught in criminal activities. However, Ellie is unsure how active she would be in the city and would inform Lang about her decision.

The Claws of the Rooster

Lang and Denzel Williams have a meeting to catch up on things. Denzel tells Lang that he is running security for Rooster’s Rest at night with Harry Brown and Miles Landon under Pegasus. Lang tells Denzel about the rebirth of Talon and asks if Denzel is still committed to the cause, aiding the growth of the organization. They reminiscence about Talon's past and what it could be in the future. Denzel says that he would be there to help Lang whenever he would need him. Later, Denzel is hired by Lang to be head of security for the Rooster's Rest.

A Key To Make Or Break Relationships

8 Mar 2021

A Digital Partner

Tony Corleone meets Jacob Harth at Rooster’s Rest. Jacob wants to offer Tony a head manager position at Digital Den. Jacob tells him about the future goal of buying and selling laptops and other advanced tech soon. Digital Den can now craft phones and other small tech items. The lan party room of Digital Den has been activated to hold gaming contests that people can participate in. Jacob brings Tony down to the digital den basement where Jacob has created his own lair with multiple computers, screens and servers. There is a hole in the basement that holds a deeper secret. Later, Jacob and Tony meet up with Lang Buddha. Lang offers Jacob keys to Rooster’s Rest, as Jacob wants to be able to use his tech room in the establishment. Jacob also wants to create games for the arcade machines present in his room. Tony tells Lang about his new position and Jacob gives Lang a tour of the new functionality in Digital Den. Jacob asks Tony and Lang to drop him off at Lester’s House, as he is looking for GPUs to sell in the future. Jacob shows Tony and Lang a picture he had recently taken. This is the same picture that Lando found as a note while leaving their Meth Lab. Jacob tells them he has been keeping an eye out as multiple groups and the Police Department have generated traffic there. Lang does not tell him about the Meth Lab yet.

Relationship Advice

During one of the Pegasus Concierge meetings, Nino Chavez pulls aside Denzel Williams for a conversation. Nino tells Denzel that he trusts him with information and he would like some guidance from Denzel about Lang and Siz Fulker’s relationship. Nino then tells Denzel about the Meth Lab information that has transpired so far. Nino is also worried about revealing information to Lang and Humberto “Don” Pecorino about Nino working for Siz for over 4 weeks.

Denzel doesn’t seem much surprised with the load of information, however suggests bringing Lang and Siz in a meeting to talk about all the possibilities. Denzel asks Nino about Harry Brown starting to like people that are expendable in the cause. Nino suggests that it is not a bad thing as he was first suspicious about the Larpers. Now however, he has grown to like them enough to put a bullet in someone for them.

A Method to Bending Relationships

As Don escapes the incident, he heads up to the Lighthouse to talk to Nino who is present with his Pegasus members. As Don arrives, Nino receives a call from Doug Buck who informs him that he has been able to purchase a Meth Lab key from the Meth Head biker in Paleto. Surprised, Nino thinks it's a prank and tells Doug to send him a picture. Don and Nino drive to Grapeseed to look for a newspaper stand to find out about the boys going to jail. Nino receives a picture of Doug inside the meth lab. Nino calls Doug and tries to extract information out of him, however as he is talking, he is approached by Chang Gang who are present in the area. Soon, Doug also arrives at the party and Nino finds out that they are the ones that acquired the key. Nino, Don and Chang Gang head down to the Underground Fighting Arena for a discussion about the Labs. Mr Kevin realizes that it is better to work together rather than be greedy and go for all the locations. Nino and Don agree and call Lang to meet them there.

As Lang and Tony arrive at the establishment. Nino tells them that they need to have a speedrun of all the events that occurred so far before they meet Chang Gang. Nino explains that he has known about the Meth business for over weeks now and how he has been working with Siz. Nino has been working on ways to provide the boys this opportunity but they have acquired the Meth lab themselves. As patiences starts to crumble, Cleanbois and Chang Gang have a meeting. Nino leads the conversation stating that he knows the person that has the 3rd Meth lab and would prefer the 3 gang leaders to work together so that they can all make money. Since Lang, Nino and Don are still in the process of learning about cooking Meth, not much information is traded between the two groups. However, a meeting is to be scheduled to start a communication between the 3 key owners.

Lang, Tony, Nino and Don head to the Chumash Pier to have a clear discussion amongst themselves. Nino explains that his intentions have always been to help the group succeed but he did not tell them about this since he promised Siz. Even though Tony and Lang are taken aback by him hiding a secret from them, they understand. However, Nino apologises and says that they have developed a stronger bond now and he would be more open to sharing sensitive information in the future. While discussing the future of the Meth lab, Lang wants the Larpers to be the cooks for their operation while Nino wants to involve Pegasus to be the ones distributing the product amongst the city. Nino agrees and sets up a meeting with Siz so that the two groups can start cooperating together in the operation.

Large-flower-divider

Business Secrets

As Nino goes to meet Siz first, Lang and Don head to the Casino to meet Dean Watson and Marlo Standfield. Dean is upset that Doug has borrowed Marlo’s money to obtain the Meth Lab key. Dean wants to make sure that he is not involved with any of this operation. According to Marlo, Doug has been trying to borrow more money to do test batches in the Meth Lab. Lang tells Dean that Doug isn’t part of the Cleanbois circle anymore and Dean should talk to Mr Kevin to resolve this issue. Lang and Don realize that the meth operation is going to be public soon with the amount of people now involved.

On the other hand, Nino is waiting to talk to Siz at the abandoned Zancudo Base. Siz arrives in a red tow truck along with Al Saab and Denzel Williams. Nino realizes that Saab and Denzel are two of the cooks for Siz. Denzel tells Nino how he wasn’t surprised when he heard all the information from him earlier. Saab says that this is what he has been working with so that he can help his boys. Nino then informs Siz about the previous incident with Chang Gang and how they have obtained the Grapeseed location. Siz agrees on working with the 3 groups in order for the system to flow properly and everyone making money.

Lang and Don soon arrive at this meeting and are taken aback to see Saab and Denzel. Lang is disappointed in Saab and Denzel for hiding information from him. Nino tries to make Lang understand how Saab and Denzel have the right to be their own person as long as they have their groups back. Siz talks to them about how meth purity and quality has worked in his experiments. Siz believes that each person can achieve different qualities in the process and would like a single individual that would help all 3 labs in making the same quality of meth. Siz also tells them how different quality products sell at different prices locally. He suggests that only higher quality products are worth pushing. Lang agrees to coexist with Siz, Saab and Denzel in the meth business but wants to get the Larpers being the cooks and disagrees with the idea of one person helping all 3 labs.

Quest Progression

After the meeting, Lang decides it’s time to boost the morale of the chosen Larpers (Leyla Nightingale, Bjorn the Battleready Barbarian, Gloryon, Yeager Demonblood, Gea Stagdancer, and Lando Stormborn) with another appearance from the Stormlord and his Guardians. Before the meeting with the Stormlord, Lang finds a sticky note from Meowfurryon telling him that he is leaving the city for the time being. Lando clarifies that he may come back sporadically and just has an irregular schedule. After a brief check in with the chosen Larpers and the Emperors, the chosen are summoned to the basement where the Stormlord and two of his Guardians await. One Guardian, hovering in midair, tells them to bring forth the gems. In the moment, Lando realizes he forgot to bring the gems and that they are still missing a few. The ominous meeting is temporarily thrown off course. Lando runs off to get the gems. While going to fetch the gems, the Stormlord unexpectedly disappears. The floating Guardian tells the chosen Larpers that the Stormlord has disappeared because they have disappointed him, but he reminds them that the Stormlord still believes in them and loves them and wants to continue to work together. Once the gems are returned, the Stormlord reappears and they are granted access to the basement as well as introduced to a new, greater quest: alchemy. The Guardian tells them to wait for more information from the emperors about the alchemy in the morning.

To Serve and to Protect

Later that night, Nino meets with Gea Stagdancer. Nino is worried about Gea and wants to understand the note of him wanting to leave the Rooster’s Rest situation better. Stagdancer tells him that he has become bored of small quests. He has seen Lando Stormborn, Don, Lang and Nino himself do some shady things and would like to get involved with them. He adds that he is getting burnt out from doing shifts at the Rooster’s Rest. However, he doesn’t want to abandon people to work alone there. Nino understands and promises Stagdancer that they will be hiring more staff for the shifts so that he is not obligated to work as often. Nino also promises to provide better quests for Stagdancer that can make him more money to acquire the luxury that he wants. The Larpers also inform Nino that Bjorn had a one on one fist fight with Tay Tay at the apartment's parking lot. Bjorn was able to easily take him down. Later however, Tay Tay came to Rooster’s Rest to kidnap Bjorn but the Larpers were able to stop the kidnapping and shot Tay Tay as he drove away.

Lang arrives at Rooster’s Rest and Nino has a conversation with him. They talk about the financials of the business and potentially getting a fighting dojo on the roof of Rooster’s Rest. Lang also informs Nino about the whole situation with the DeLorean. During that situation, Trooper Tony Andrews offered to release Lang while he was in Pillbox Hospital. According to Lang, Andrews was hinting at the PD budget and how Lang’s business makes money that he can support the PD with. Nino is shocked but likes the idea of providing PD with funds to get on their good side. The Larpers have already been becoming closer to Olivia Copper to further strengthen their ties with the PD.

Perfecting the Method

Lang Buddha and Speedy meet up to discuss the logistics of selling meth on the streets. Speedy makes the point that while he is up to collaborating with different people to supply the product, he will not allow anyone else to sell in his barrio. Lang is also curious about the activity of the Southside, asking if other gangs are active to compete within the street distribution. Speedy says that his Vagos are the most active down there at the moment, with the occasional sightings of Southside Ballas and Grove Street Families. For now, the plan is for the boys to dead drop meth to people to distribute on the streets. Hopefully, some of the Southside gangs can be involved to bring activity in the Southside.

Lang, Nino Chavez, Yaeger Demonblood, and Bjorn the Barbarian gather to cook a batch of meth. On their first attempt to access the lab with Pegasus as security, the area was hot with cops on the ground and in the air so they retreated. A little later, they came back with Pegasus again and got in to cook a new batch. They wait for the machines to cool off in the lab and return later to cook a second batch for the day. Lang, Nino, Humberto ‘Don’ Pecorino, and Gloryon the Cleric cook the second batch with Harry Brown as overwatch. The group quickly cooks the second batch and escapes without a trace.

In The Shadows

Lang, Ellie Dono, Jacob Harth, and Denzel Williams meet in the basement of the Rooster’s Rest for a Talon reunion. Jacob informs them of a tunnel system in progress that will eventually link all of the arcades in Los Santos as he plans to purchase them for the Digital Den. Lang offers to invest in the Digital Den to help Jacob purchase his first arcade, which Lang could potentially use as a stash location. Lang will discuss the investment with the Rooster’s Rest board of directors to come to a consensus.

They discuss how things have changed, and for now, they need to focus on making money for what’s to come in the future. Jacob offers to train Lang in crafting electronics with broken materials and other parts that can be found on garbage runs or breaking into houses. Lang, Denzel, and Ellie discuss the logistics of the trash runs and crafting electronics with Lando Stormborn and Gea Stagdancer to determine how much money can be made. Once Lando and Stag do the math, they change into outfits for garbage runs and prepare for the new quest.

Clearing the Air

Lang Buddha, Humberto “Don” Pecorino, Yaeger Demonblood, and Bjorn Corleone gather to cook a batch of meth. On his way into the lab, Lang receives a call from Al Saab asking for him to meet up because there is a “big problem.” After the batch is successfully cooked and stored back in the city, Lang breaks off from the group and coordinates with Al Saab to speak with Siz Fulker one-on-one at the Kortz Center.

When Lang arrives, he finds Saab and Julio Thomas watching over the courtyard and they point him towards Siz, waiting alone below. Siz expresses that he wants to come to the table and clear up any perceived animosity between the two groups. Lang shares his opinion that some of the animosity may be coming from Nino Chavez feeling cut out after the very early days of meth when he was coordinating with just Siz, and then how things changed suddenly when Lang got a hold of his own lab. Siz starts from the beginning, explaining where he was coming from with the delay between the meetings as well as some of the problems he has felt dealing with Nino. Lang presses Siz to share what Saab means about this unknown “big problem” that prompted this call. Siz suggests that the problem may be about the Ballers getting the product, but deflects. Lang pushes for more specifics about “the big problem” and Siz refocuses and says that they should just clarify details and avoid the telephone game of information from before. Lang says he wants to work together and agree on a flat rate of $400 and to deal with gangs exclusively if possible.

Lang tells Siz he had a conversation with Arush “Speed” Patell Santana earlier that day about meth and about Speedy’s dealing with the third lab. He tells Siz that he suggested that Speedy go to the third lab and tell them not to undercut the agreed-upon flat rate price. Lang also emphasizes the mindset of not worrying too much about the street-level dynamics, but to step back and focus on optimizing distribution. They discuss how they don’t want it to get personal, especially with Saab and Speedy involved.

They are still in the building phase, Lang tells Siz. He is not interested in getting into conflict with other labs when the meth business is so fresh. All they have to do is agree on the price and stay out of each other’s way. Lang tells Siz that Speedy is getting a lower price from the third lab in exchange for protection, but the third lab will sell to others at a higher price. They discuss the problems with the current way of cleaning dirty money on the street level. If there is no other way to clean money, they’ll have to go down to the corner alongside the people they are dealing to, which could get messy.

Lang reveals that he already knows Siz’s new 92% purity because Nino Chavez ran into Matthew Payne with large quantities of the batch Siz recently sold to Speedy. Siz says that, regarding purity, he thinks that it is more of a “RNJesus situation rather than a mathematical equation. Siz says that there appear to be multiple peaks and valleys with the sliders that the cook operates. Lang has different intel from Gloryon, who is working on optimizing the perfect batch with testing and math. Siz also reveals that the duration of the meth seems to be broken into brackets, and there may not be much difference between 92 and 96, but there may be a difference between 88 and 92. Siz and Lang admit, without giving away their sources, that they both know who owns the third lab. They hope they can all come together and sell at the same flat rate, but that relies on Speedy and what he decides to do with the third lab.

Quest For The Fire Giant

Lang gathers the chosen nerds and heads down into the Talon library. Lang presents them with a new quest on behalf of the Stormlord. The quest is to smuggle cigarettes, weed, and alcohol into Bolingbroke Penitentiary to the lifer Bovice Wilkinson. Lang warns them it will be a tough task and would require a lot of planning and experiments. Gloryon says that he would not be getting himself sent to prison as he is the next line into the meth game. Lang agrees and wants the nerds to make connections with the Department of Correction members so that they can corrupt them in some way to achieve the goal.

He hints that Stormlord has plans for Bovice Fire Giant in the future.

Burn It Down

After congratulating Sheriff Kyle Pred on his promotion, Dean Watson is informed that the District Attorney’s Office will no longer accept cases against him. Dean is fuming, planning to drive around and shoot people just to bring chaos since no one will hold him accountable for his actions.

Later, Dean and Marlo Stanfield drive up to Paleto and steal an oil tanker truck. Dean questions if Marlo is committed to driving the tanker into the city and blowing it up. For more assistance, Dean calls Gea Stagdancer, but he seems hesitant to join in the casual terrorism so easily. After some back and forth, Dean manages to convince Stag to tag along. As they drive into the city, Dean explains why he wants to attack the DA and why this corrupt system isn’t good for anyone. The city needs a government that isn’t willing to just kneel before a criminal and refuse to hold them accountable in court. As he drives along Route 68, Dean speaks on the phone with Trooper Olivia Copper, telling her that he’s driving an oil tanker back to the city for fireworks. Copper threatens to place Dean in a 51-50 hold and arrest him for conspiracy to commit terrorism. He seems unfazed, explaining that he wants to kill everyone in the government and wipe the slate clean to start anew. Yaeger Demonblood meets Marlo and Dean in Harmony to give keys to his bike for their escape from the city. After breaking their first oil tanker, Dean speeds back up to Paleto to steal another truck and oil tanker.

Dean drives to the Diamond Casino and changes into his criminal disguise. Stag meets Dean near the Gallery to pass him a gas can but forgot to fill it, so they drive to a station for gasoline, Dean climbs back into the oil tanker, and Marlo drives them to City Hall. Marlo drops the oil tanker right outside, and Dean pours gasoline all around it. Dean shoots a couple of shots into the gas, and the tanker explodes as they speed away on Demon’s bike. Marlo and Dean quickly drive to the cemetery and wash their hands in the small pond. They change outfits and grab Dean’s car from Paleto, seemingly away scot-free.

While checking in on Burger Shot, cops approach the restaurant, and Dean suspiciously hides from them inside. As Marlo and Cassie Cupcakes attempt to distract the officers, Dean sneaks away to hide. Dean tries to call Marlo for a pick-up, but he says that the cops will follow him wherever he goes. He calls Copper again to ask why Senior Deputy Sam Baas is chasing him, informing him that he’s wanted for arrest. Dean attempts to steal a car to flee the area, but Copper rolls past him and chases him on foot. Eventually, officers, deputies, and troopers tackle and detain Dean Watson.

After a long interrogation, Dean is placed on a 72-hour investigative hold in Bolingbroke State Penitentiary. Once a psychiatrist is available, Dean is transported from Bolingbroke to Parsons Rehabilitation Center for a mental evaluation with Doctor Pixie Plum. After an extensive conversation with Pixie, Dean is released from Parsons and processed for jail in MRPD.

Where To Go From Here

Lang Buddha wakes up and quickly learns about Dean’s arrest and subsequent 51-50. Lang calls Dean to check on him and sets to meet at the casino. On the Diamond Casino rooftop, Dean and Lang speak one-on-one about everything that happened the day prior.

Dean explains that he’s had issues with the system for a while, and the situation with Meowfurryon and the PD (see The Torture of Meowfurryon) certainly didn’t help sway his opinion. When Dean called to congratulate Kyle Pred for winning the role of Sheriff without winning the vote for it, only exposing more corruption within the system, Dean learned that the DA wouldn’t be pushing cases against Dean Watson moving forward. This led Dean to think that if he won’t be held accountable, he can ride around the city and do whatever he wants. Soon, Dean focused his anger on eliminating those in power to place new people in those roles. He was eventually caught, arrested, and put under a 51-50 hold for what he was saying to Trooper Copper.

Lang asks Dean how far he’s willing to go to create change in this system, and Dean retorts that he was willing to drag the judges and DA on top of the oil tanker and blow them up with it. Lang asks him where he plans to go from here, and Dean doesn’t seem to know. Lang says that he shouldn’t be doing these things publicly, and Dean agrees. If he’s to continue with pushing for change like this, it needs to be done discreetly. He’s willing to play the clean role, going to therapy as if everything is okay. But Dean can’t do this alone. Lang mentions that he’ll need people to help him facilitate this change. Can the system even be changed? What gives you hope to change something that has been the same for years? Even Copper recognizes the corrupt system, though she disagrees with Dean’s methods. Lang leaves Dean on the rooftop to think about what he wants to do moving forward and how to shake the system.

From The Ashes

Later, Lang and Dean meet on the hotel side of the Rooster’s Rest to continue their discussion from the rooftop. Dean concluded that he will have to live two lives: lawful good and chaotic evil. To the public, he’s a clean business owner who still takes the legal route for his issues, but he blows up stuff from the shadows. Lang asks what he’s willing to sacrifice to bring this change in the city, and Dean retorts that he’s already blown up a tanker at City Hall with his own gun. He’s willing to trade his life to make a difference. As they continue to talk, it becomes more apparent that Dean and Lang share the same mindset.

After Lang ensures he can fully trust Dean, he tells Dean to follow him. Lang leads him to the Janitor's Closet and unlocks the secret door into the hidden basement. Lang and Dean speak in the tunnel entrance at the bottom of the basement, where Dean asks what this place is. Lang tells him that this place was built hundreds of years ago by his ancestors, where they established an organization to carry out true justice and rid the world of corruption.

Lang leads Dean through the library and into the hidden library, where the Book of Talon is kept. This book holds Talon’s oath and the history of the organization. Lang asks if Dean has ever heard of the FIB Building and the giant hole in the side of it. Lang continues to explain how the system failed him and how Talon grew what it became to be. Ever since Lang has returned to the city, he thought his work was finished. As time went by, more events contradicted that thought, and the voice in Lang’s head grew louder. It became evident that Talon’s work is not finished in Los Santos. Then after Dean’s spiral, it’s even more clear that someone will need to hold the Police, DA, and DOJ accountable if they continue to operate in this manner. Lang advises Dean to do as he said earlier, live both lives. Continuing the clean front and keeping business as usual will keep suspecting eyes at bay to allow Talon to operate in the shadows accordingly.

Like-Minded

Lang meets with Doctor Pixie Plum at the Harmony clothing store, and they drive past Stab City into the woods for a secluded therapy session. They settle on a rock by the river and talk about what happened to Meowfurryon together. Pixie mentions that she’ll be conducting evaluations on those involved with the situation, and a colleague of hers will conduct second-opinion evaluations at a later date. Pixie continues to say that everything Meow has gone through will affect him some way or another, but she knows Meowfurryon isn’t crazy. Lang asks about Baas. but Pixie hasn’t spoken with him. According to Lang, Baas will get away with this, but Pixie doesn’t seem to believe it. Lang continues to tell a story about Meowfurryon being confronted by High Command officers, who taunted Meow with water bottles, and an officer Cornwood continued to pull out a gun and threaten to forget everything he knows about the case. What happens when these high command officers are the ones who are supposed to punish Sam Baas within the department?

Pixie promises to do her best to protect Meowfurryon, especially from a 51-50 hold. Pixie had a patient in Parsons tasered by officers for mouthing back to them. Just so happens this patient in Parsons has a similar mindset to Lang, these people in power operate unchecked and need someone to hold them accountable. Pixie felt powerless, even in her own facility, because the police didn’t bother to listen to her instructions regarding her patient.

Pixie feels at a crossroads, where most of her patients come to her with the same concerns and problems but going the legal course doesn’t seem to solve the issue when she tells them to do it. She’s having trouble with encouraging people to stick with the legal route when it seems to be the more complicated path. Lang vents that he feels hopeless in regards to Baas getting away with it because high command won’t hold him accountable for it when they’re inciting it. Maybe Dean was right, blowing up a tanker and voting new people into City Hall. Pixie tells Lang that chaos isn’t always a good thing, people can lose sight of their goals and develop a ‘god complex’ after they start getting away with their crimes.

When nothing else works, what can a man do? Lang believes if a path becomes too much of a struggle, a new path must be found. Someone has to be there to right the wrongs, even if they make mistakes along the way, keeping the goal in mind is what matters most. Pixie changes subjects and asks Lang what the voice in his head said to him. The voice only said Lang’s name, so not much but it’s enough to worry him. It feels like the voice is trying to wake up. Or maybe it’s already awake, and if that’s the case, what can Lang do about it at this point? Should he even get rid of the voice or was it destined to return? What worries Lang is the situations that surround him, specifically where one of his best employees and close friends was attacked by police officers. These situations make it hard to ignore or quiet down the voice wanting to escape.

Pixie doesn’t want Lang to give in to the voice, blindly following it, but Lang is worried he already did and doesn’t even know it. Lang asks if they’re friends or if this is just a therapist and patient speaking. Pixie says it feels like two friends bitching about all the fucked up things that happen around them. Lang asks how Pixie feels about Dean, and she replies that she already released him, so that should say enough. Lang questions Pixie about her mysterious patient, letting Lang know that they’re not in Parsons but locked up in maximum security. She worries that she’s not helping anyone, but what if she is helping these people see their true purpose? After some back and forth, Pixie realizes she won’t be able to change Lang’s mind. So, she continues to explain that she professionally will continue to help him quiet the voice and assist him in not indulging those impulses. Personally, Pixie couldn’t care less what Lang does. Lang says that he has to find like-minded individuals who are willing to sacrifice everything for changing the system. Then suddenly, Dean is operating under the same mindset as Lang. Is this destiny? Lang asks about the patient in maximum security again, what did they do to be locked up forever? Pixie hints that this person might have been locked up for acting upon these thoughts and impulses that they share with Lang. He asks if the prisoner is Bovice, and Pixie bluntly responds, “No.” Lang most likely won’t be able to meet this mysterious prisoner anytime soon, but Pixie is attempting to transfer the prisoner to Parsons.

As Lang discusses meeting these like-minded individuals, a storm rolls overhead. Lang asks to be updated on the mysterious prisoner. Pixie professionally says no but will personally try to figure something out. Pixie reassures Lang that he isn’t crazy, but the voice in his head might be louder than she thinks.

Sacrifices For The Stormlord[]

Sacrifices For The Stormlord

26 Apr 2021

Lang Buddha knows his work is unfinished, but the Stormlord’s soldiers are unprepared for what’s to come. To compose the foot soldiers of Talon, Lang has to train them in the field with the Stormlord overseeing their training. On their first attempt, Lang, Lando Stormborn, Gea Stagdancer, and Bjorn the Barbarian grabbed a potential victim, but the police quickly interfered when they were investigating in the area. Lang, Bjorn, and Lando were arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. On the second attempt, the job was much more successful. Lang, Stag, Bjorn, and Yaeger Demonblood stake out a gas station along Palomino Freeway, grab a delivery driver from the store and take him to a campsite near the ocean, where the Stormlord explains why they kidnapped him. A revolution is coming. Then, the first victim is stabbed and burnt in the fire, a mark of Talon by his body. And so it begins.

A few days later, Lang, Stag, Lando, and Gloryon the Storm Cleric gathered for the Stormlord to prepare another sacrifice. Similar to their last victim, the group stakes out a gas station along Palomino Freeway, grabs a delivery driver from the store, and takes the second victim to another remote location near the beach close to the Palmer-Taylor Power Station. The Stormlord explains why the kidnapped victim is here, and if he lives, hopefully, he sees the work that will be done. The second victim is stabbed by Lando, and Stag quickly drives the group out of the area to dump the knife and change vehicles. After they all change clothes and get back into their legal cars, Lang, Stag, Lando, and Gloryon carry on with their days as if nothing happened.

While Lang and the Guild clean themselves up from the job, Cadet Jeffery Bundy rolls onto the crime scene to find the stab victim and a mark of Talon. Bundy contacts EMS for the victim. As the EMS performs their duties, Bundy collects evidence and photographs of the scene, noting the specific mark. Bundy and other officers search the area for any other clues, but the scene is clean aside from the victim’s blood.

At Pillbox Medical Center, Cadet Bundy meets with the victim, Dean Hunt, taking a statement of what occurred from his perspective. As he was delivering packages, four masked men showed up in a black SUV and took him somewhere. Dean specifies that he was delivering packages to a gas station along Palomino Freeway. As Bundy continues his questioning, he learns that two or three of them pointed guns at him during the kidnapping. Nothing was stolen from him, not even the cash from his pockets. Better or worse, Bundy tells Dean that this wasn’t a targeted attack, so who knows how many others have been attacked. If Dean receives any other suspicious activity, he is to reach out to Bundy or anyone else from the Police Department.

Later that night, Bundy prepares his report of the situation. After searching for other incidents involving the “mark of Talon,” Bundy discovers that there was another incident involving this “Talon.” Both victims were kidnapped from the same location, and both crime scenes were near each other. Once everything is typed, Bundy creates the report in the MDW, adding all evidence collected, and files the incident under the tag: Talon.

The Fourth and Fifth Victims of Talon[]

The Fourth and Fifth Victims of Talon

11 May 2021

A Dark and Stormy Night

A terrible storm, predicted by LSBN anchor Ron Otterman, tears through Los Santos. Lang Buddha, Denzel Williams, Lando Stormborn, Gloryon, Gea Stagdancer, Bjorn, and Yeager Demonblood gather for the fourth Talon sacrifice. After getting dressed in grey utility pants, a tight black shirt, and a black helmet, clothes inspired by Humberto “Don” Pecorino, they split into two groups: Yeager, Denzel, and Lang wait at the mansion in Tongva Hills while Lando, Stag, Bjorn and Gloryon hunt for the delivery truck driver. After sitting at a gas station in Sandy Shores for a few minutes, a delivery truck driver pulls up and they quickly cuff him and put him in the trunk of their stolen SUV and drive to the mansion. It’s a tense drive down Route 68, and they pass multiple cop cars going the opposite direction on the way but they make it there safely. Once they drop off the delivery driver, they leave him to Lang, Yeager, and Denzel, who are waiting beside the mansion's pool in the backyard, wearing skull masks. With his voice disguised, Lang questions the victim. The man says his name is Louis and that he is just a delivery driver. Lang informs him that he will be the fourth sacrifice, and that he hopes that he will one day see the truth in what they are doing. He leaves the Mark of Talon on the deck and Yeager stabs him, pushing his body into the pool. As they drive away, Lang sends an anonymous tip to 911: “Someone was stabbed here...something about a talon?” Deputy Lauren Forcer and Solo-Cadet Jeffrey Bundy pull away from a robbery at the Vault to respond to the 911 call.

After misjudging the 911 ping location that first brought them to the vineyard, a more specific anonymous 911 call comes in and guides them to the mansion in Tongva Hills. They case the scene and find the victims DNA in the pool, the mark of talon, and nothing else. The weather in the city is so bad that they abandon the scene. They are not able to locate the victim, who they guess may have been treated by EMS or fell victim to the terrible weather. Bundy returns when it clears up to take more thorough pictures of the scene, investigate the property and the location of the kill in relation to other incidents marked as related to Talon.

13 May 2021

The Third Victim Becomes the Fifth

Dressed in white suits and wearing white hockey masks, Gloryon, Denzel, Bjorn and Lando kidnap a delivery driver at the delivery depot in the middle of the day and drive him to the Foundry. Once there, they hand him off to Yeager and Lang, dressed in all black and wearing black skull masks. Beside the molten smelter, Lang sees that they kidnapped Hal Apenyo, the man who had been the third “sacrifice”. With his voice disguised, Lang greets Hal again, asks him where he works and if understands now why they are doing this after surviving the first stabbing. Hal says he still doesn’t understand, Lang walks away, and Yeager stabs him in the neck. While Lang and Yeager stand with Hal, Denzel, Gloryon, Lando and Bjorn hang back. Denzel carves the shape of a skull into a piece of metal in addition to the mark of talon left behind on the smelter and in the office.

After Hal is stabbed, Denzel takes off with his group, and Lang leaves with Yeager. Lang sends an anonymous 911: “Someone was just stabbed at the foundry…”. Trooper Olivia Copper and brand new Cadet Calhoun are first to arrive on the scene. Deputy Lauren Forcer and Senior Officer Kareem arrive a few minutes later to help. They find both Talon marks and the skull carved into metal. After bringing Hal to the Pillbox Hospital to be treated, Copper takes him to MRPD for an interview. Forcer is pulled away to another incident, but when she has a moment later in the shift she gets the full story about Hal’s second run-in with Talon.

Leyla’s First Sacrifice for Talon[]

Leyla’s First Sacrifice for Talon

5 Jun 2021

The stars align for Leyla Nightingale of Embervale to join her first Talon training mission. This is also the first Talon sacrifice after the killing of Meowfurryon in the basement of the Rooster’s Rest.

Leyla, Denzel Williams, and Gloryon go to the meth lab in Sandy Shores to cook a batch. While cooking, Denzel explains more about the history of Talon and the plans for anarchy and chaos, especially with Denzel as mayor. On the drive back from the lab, they stop and change their outfits to matching grey suits and demon masks with red hair. Leyla asks questions about how the stabbing will go, and what to say to the victim. They drop off the meth at the arcade warehouse and then go to stake out a gas station and wait for the victim.

They easily hold a man up, get him in their trunk, and drive him down a dirt road to a secluded spot by the water up north. A disguised Gloryon tells the handcuffed victim that he is a sacrifice for the cause. On cue, Leyla stabs him and thanks the victim for his blood and sacrifice. They leave a Mark of Talon and “For the Cause” written in blood on a boulder beside the body. While driving away from the victim, they make an anonymous 911 call alerting the police. When asked how she felt after stabbing an innocent person, Leyla says she feels proud.

No cops respond to the scene, but an EMS, Mia Smoak, ends up finding the body and records the evidence so that MCD and Trooper Copper can continue the investigation.

The Medallion and The Blade[]

A Strange Letter

During an event for Denzel Williams’ mayoral campaign, Lang Buddha is approached outside the front door of the casino by Jazz Ryder. She introduces herself and says she was told by her boss, Michael Simone, to give Lang a letter. Lang takes the letter and sees that it is sealed with a red wax Rooster’s seal. He opens it and a silver medallion falls out. The medallion tingles in his hand ever so slightly. Lang asks Jazz if he can meet her boss, but Jazz says he’s travelling up in the arctic. Lang also asks if she has seen a letter like this before and she says she hasn’t and that she is just the messenger passing the letter along.

Puzzled and intrigued by this new object, Lang wanders off to the event and plays with the medallion in his hand.

Tony Joins the Quest

Lang heads behind the casino toward the horse track, where a crowd is gathering for a race. He sees Tony Corleone and pulls him aside to tell him what just happened. He shows Tony the coin. When Tony holds it, he doesn’t feel anything. He says it feels like a normal coin in his hand. He sees that the coin is special but it doesn’t tingle like it does for Lang. They examine the coin, they think the pattern on the coin could be smoke or two dragons.

Both Lang and Tony are unsure about what to do next, but then Lang gets the idea to take the coin to the Rooster’s Rest. As they approach the Rooster’s, the medallion begins to hum. They pull into the parking lot and Lang jumps out of the car, excited. He sees that the humming grows weaker or stronger depending on where he is. They run around the parking lot and the humming grows and fades, but they can’t seem to pinpoint a location. Tony thinks that they should try underground, so they both head inside the Rooster and venture down into the basement.

They go deep underground, to the cobblestone room where Meowfurryon was killed a few weeks before. Lang turns in circles and the signal fades and grows and fades with every turn he makes. Lang guesses that the humming might be due to direction, something beyond the basement, but he wants to be sure so he checks every room with Tony. Eventually they give up, finding nothing, and decide to see where the medallion will take them outside of the building.

Lang starts running up the hill behind the Rooster’s and the humming keeps growing stronger. Realizing that the medallion might take them quite a distance, Tony grabs his car and they start driving. They figure out that the medallion works as a sort of compass, and Lang leads Tony in the directions the humming medallion suggests.

They drive around up north and the signal grows strong as they approach the winery, but they don’t find anything there. As they circle the building, checking directions with the medallion, Tony gets an idea about where the coin could be taking them. He drives off road and up into the hills to a cave he knows about on the side of the mountain. They pull up to the cave and the medallion hums.

When Lang enters the cave, the medallion begins to shake uncontrollably. Lang takes a shovel and digs in the earth. He digs for a few minutes and finds the blade. It’s the blade of his grandfather’s sword. When he picks it up, a voice in Lang’s head tells him that the quest is not yet complete. Tony and Lang drive away and the humming medallion falls quiet. Excited to continue, but eager to return to the event at the casino, Lang decides to stash the blade of the sword in the Rooster’s for now and pick up the quest later.

Large-flower-divider

The Sword’s Resting Place

Later that night, Lang brings Lando, Gloryon, and Denzel up to his office to show them the blade he found. Lang then takes them to a back room and explains the events that led to digging up the blade. He tells them that this is something that he has been searching for for years. He leads them down into the armory in the basement where his great great grandfather’s mask is displayed and points to the empty sword stand in front of it. That is where the sword should rest, and will rest once he finds all of the parts, Lang tells them. They make plans to continue the quest another day. And, once the blade is assembled, Lang says he will use it to kill Petunia Brookshire.

The Sword and The Shadow[]

The Sword and The Shadow

8 Jun 2021

The Hunt

The medallion is quiet when Lang Buddha takes it out of the stash in his office at the Rooster’s Rest, but he decides to drive around the island with Tony Corleone to see if it starts to hum like it did the day before. As Tony drives, Lang points to the symbol on the medallion, cloudy and obscured the day before, but now upon closer inspection it appears to resemble the mark of Talon. Lang wonders if the location he is being drawn toward is related to his family’s history or just hidden places around the island.

After driving for a while, the medallion stays quiet so they decide to rent a plane and try to cover more ground. In the plane, they head up north toward Mount Chiliad. On the way, the medallion starts humming west of Great Ocean Highway, above the water. They search the islands off the coast but don’t find anything. Although the medallion keeps humming, Lang is pulled away to deal with urgent issues with the Rooster's Ranch. They reluctantly abandon the search for the time being.

Large-flower-divider

The Guard

Lang resumes the hunt to find the remaining pieces of the sword alone after dealing with the Ranch. He grabs an oxygen tank from the hunting store and steals a boat to look more closely at the area of ocean he flew over with Tony before. The medallion locks into one spot in the water, so Lang puts on the tank, anchors the boat, and jumps in. He dives down deep and discovers an old crumbling shipwreck. As he swims toward the wreck, the medallion begins to shake uncontrollably. He digs into the sand piled up at the bottom of the wreck and finds the guard of the sword.

Large-flower-divider

The Hilt

Lang suspects the final part of the sword could be at the Rooster’s Rest, but the medallion goes quiet again. He searches and searches, in cars and in planes, but cannot find it. Eventually he takes a break and meets with Leslie and Dean. After the meeting, Lang decides he will try again to find the final piece. The medallion eventually leads him to a cove. On the shore of the cove, he digs in the sand and finds the last piece: a hilt. With all of the pieces found, he has to find a way to put them all together.

Large-flower-divider

The Talon Sword

Lang returns to the Rooster’s Rest with all of the parts and the medallion. He calls the Guild to see if anyone is around to help assemble the parts, but they are busy or drunk so he plans to show them later. In the basement, the medallion begins to shake again, and Lang assembles the pieces and the medallion to form the Talon Sword. It is a Dao, with a dark red handle and long curved blade. It feels perfect in his hand. Lang stashes the blade for now, and awaits the Guild to show them what he found.

The Future of Talon

Later that night, Lang meets Bjorn, Lando, and Gloryon at the Rooster’s Rest. Bjorn and Lando are mostly sobered up from their bender and Lang asks them why they are drinking. Lando reveals he got in an accident and was sent to the ICU. Bjorn tells Lang his warhammer was stolen a few days before by a masked guy with a British accent in a stolen car. He’s drinking because the warhammer was a birthday gift from Meowfurryon. Lang leads the Guild members down to the basement to show them the sword. They are in awe of it. He passes it off to Gloryon to hold the sword, but it rejects him. He passes it to Lando, and he can’t hold it either. Only Lang can wield it. Lang tells them there may be other weapons out there for the Guild. Lang encourages Bjorn that there is something out there that will replace his stolen warhammer, something better, filled with more power.

Lang checks in with them about the Stormlord mission to kill a member of the DOC. Lang points out that Fontaine is the perfect target because they’ve become so close to her over time. He tasks them to come up with a plan to kidnap and kill her. He also lets the Guid know that he will speak to Yung Dab, and if the conversation goes well, it will be the Guild’s job to break him out and bring him to the tunnels Lang has almost completed under the Rooster’s Rest.

After he shows them the sword, they notice a small grey cat curled up on the wooden table. Gloryon notices that the cat has the same patterns on its coat that Meowfurryon had on his mask. When they pet him, it calms them. Lando asks what they should name this cat that has just appeared out of nowhere and they decide to name him Clyde. Clyde was Meowfurryon’s true first name. The Guild expresses that they miss Meowfurryon, but Lang tries to remind them of how far they have come, how much they have gained, and all the opportunities that are ahead. Now that he has the Sword of Talon, Lang reveals it is finally time to kill Petunia. He plans to use the sword and behead her in the same room where they murdered Meowfurryon.

Timothy Snapple Jr the Newsie

Timothy Snapple Jr asks Ursula Leichenberg if he can talk to her about potentially getting a sponsored ad published in LSBN. Ursula agrees to meet with him to discuss it and they convene in Ron Otterman’s office to start the conversation.

Timothy opens up by asking Ursula if she’s heard anything about Meowfurryon missing, to which she replies no, this is the first she’s heard of it. Timothy begins to reveal the information that he’s gathered over the past several days after speaking to various people and having some time to mull the information over.

Timothy starts his story by explaining that he’s known Meowfurryon since his second day in the city and that he hired him as the accountant for Betta Life, Timothy’s company. He realized that they didn’t file any taxes and because he didn’t want his company to be committing tax evasion or fraud, he tried to reach out to Meowfurryon to get the taxes filed. After trying to reach Meowfurryon for a week, Timothy says, he decided to ask Meow’s friends if they’ve seen him. He first asked Gloryon if he’s seen him and Gloryon responded that “he’s in his room playing Final Fantasy, but he’s still around.”

Leana then joins the pair in the LSBN office and listens to Timothy continue his story, advising that she may have some more information but will wait until the story is done. After speaking to Gloryon, Timothy then spoke with Bjorn while he was at Hayes getting his car repaired the other night. Bjorn said that Meow left town so Timothy called out his conflicting story with Gloryon, to which Bjorn replied that Trooper Olivia Copper and Senior Deputy Sam Baas were investigating it and he should talk to them. Almost immediately after Bjorn finished getting his car repaired, Copper rolled in to repair her vehicle and Timothy asked if she had any information on Meow’s disappearance. Copper shares that Meow did not leave town and that she’s been looking into the casino penthouse logs to see if she can find out any information there, since he was staying there not too long ago. She shares her theory that there was a sense that he was going to do something that wouldn’t make people happy before he disappeared. She also pointed out that The Guild is putting up missing posters for Meow but they ask people to contact them and not the police, which is very suspicious.

After meeting with Copper, Timothy tells Ursula he met with Anna Swallows and Thomas Dwayne to discuss what he’s discovered and how all the pieces fit together. Their conclusion is that if Rooster’s is lying then they’re probably responsible for what happened to Meow. Whether they’re involved directly or indirectly, The Guild probably knows what occurred. Anna also confirmed that Meow and Baas became friends after the waterboarding incident, which Timothy confirmed directly with Baas.

Leana then takes a turn to speak and says that she saw Meowfurryon 16 days ago, the date they texted each other, after running into each other on the pier while Leana was looking for locals to feed to her pet panther, Sunny. Meow revealed to her that he was waiting there to speak with Baas and that he was being chased down, that people were trying to kill him. He said that he was going to try to talk it out with the people threatening him to which Leana replied that they would likely kill him. She tried to get him to say who was chasing him but he refused to tell her before they parted ways.

After laying out all the information on the table, Timothy puts forward his belief that Meowfurryon was going to ruin the Denzel Williams for mayor campaign. Whatever Meow knew, it had to be big enough and important enough to get everyone to cover it up. The only thing that fits that narrative is the mayoral race and getting Denzel into power. Timothy notes that Rooster’s has spent no money and put no effort into locating Meowfurryon while they’ve spent possibly over a million dollars on the Denzel campaign. He elaborates and points out that Lang and his cohorts have likely been skimping on paying taxes - how else would they afford four blimps, free meals for tweets, and all these events?

Ursula asks what Timothy wants the ad to be for since it sounds like he’s asking for an investigative reporting piece and not an ad. Does he want it to name the names that he’s brought up? Does he want it to just relay information about Meow missing? Timothy says that he wants to put out information that Meow is missing and to see if anyone has more information. Ursula says that she’ll have to discuss the ad with Ron Otterman.

Large-flower-divider

The Cerberus Guards the Gates

Ursula relays the information that Timothy told her to Ron and how he wants to run a piece looking into the disappearance of Meowfurryon. Ron hears her outline the piece and informs her that they likely wouldn’t be able to run a piece that’s going to name the names of Dean Watson and Lang Buddha as Dean controls the company. However, as far as everyone else is aware outside of the office, there are no investors in LSBN and the company is private. Ron’s relationship with Dean Watson is strictly with the casino and promoting there and advertising revenue. He also emphasizes that any talk like what she’s bringing up needs to be shut down and cut down on - there are powerful people they need to bend the knee to. Before they can reach a definitive decision on what to publish or not, Ron receives a tip that someone was stabbed in the crypt and they leave to cover the breaking news.

The Case of the Man Who Died Twice

After a long day of running events and campaigning for Denzel Williams, Lang Buddha decides to head to bed early. This leaves Denzel, Gloryon, and Leyla together for the evening. They decide to spend some quality family time committing crime, cooking meth, and murdering people.

After Gloryon and Leyla help Denzel sell illegal weapons, they move on to the Eighth Talon Sacrifice. They dress in all black and park near a 24/7 store waiting for drivers. Denzel notices that there are very few drivers active right now and decides this is a great time to teach a lesson about Patience. He explains that we might have to wait a while, but it’s better to wait and get the right person then rush and get caught. It’s always better to wait.

Both nerds agree and after some time, a driver finally arrives at their store. They pull up and Denzel handcuffs him. This is when the hostage says “Why does this seem very familiar?” Denzel realizes a very amusing (to him) fact:

This hostage is the same sacrifice as the last. The Seventh is the Eighth.

They stash the hostage in the car and drive him to the old abandoned quarry. He attempts to talk to them and ask if they are the same group that took him last time. Leyla instructs him to not speak and he listens. Only once they arrive and place him in the center of the quarry will Leyla and Gloryon speak to him.

— What is your name?
⸺ Shawn.
— What do you do for a living?
⸺ Nothing, right now. Trying to earn some money.
— Ah yes. Was there anything you wanted to be when you were younger?
⸺ Oh. That’s a hard question. For a little bit I wanted to be a police officer but I realized it was too dangerous.
— Understood. So it seems as fate would have it, our paths have crossed again.
⸺ So you are the same people?
— We are
⸺ What is this about? Did I piss you guys off or anything?
— No. You are means to change. Changing the lands. The world. Change that will benefit everyone. It’s good to see you survived.
⸺ I woke up in an ambulance, that’s all I remember honestly.
— It was meant to happen. It was meant to be.
⸺ I would prefer not to try that again, though. If it’s all the same to you.
— I’m sorry Shawn, but… as before… but today, you are a sacrifice. Don’t fret.
⸺ I know you won’t tell me your real names but who are you guys? I know you say you want change but who are you? Are you guys a cult?
— All will be revealed in time, Shawn.
⸺ What if I die this time and it goes to the grave?
— It will be meant to be. If you are to survive I hope you learn from this.
⸺ I think I have learned if I survive. But I would really… can I take something to my potential grave with me? Are you guys a cult? What satanic demon do you worship? Anything like that.
— We only believe in the cause. For the cause.

Leyla then stabs him and Denzel writes “FOR THE CAUSE” in his blood before they leave. Denzel calls 911 and the group leaves to change and return to the city.

Officer Jeffrey Bundy gets the 911 call and wants to respond, but is in the middle of a Vault robbery. After clearing the Vault building he makes his way to the location of the killing. He realizes what happened and immediately takes pictures to document the scene. He makes his way to the hospital to question the victim. He is told that this is the same victim as last time, which is a great result for him because the police were never able to interview him before.

They conduct a thorough interview and knowing Copper & Forcer will be looking over this, he wants to impress them. He takes the time to write an extremely detailed report, which takes him the better part of two hours. He does note, though, that he considers this a cult now and that they want serious change. With the election happening, he actually thinks this might be connected to Denzel winning, since Denzel talked a lot about change. He has no proof, but the wording is making him worry for the future of the city.

Curiosity Killed The K-Pop Star (Ret-conned)

Later in the evening after returning to Roosters Rest, Denzel takes Gloryon and Leyla down to the basement to discuss what happened earlier. He again talks about Patience and how important it is to never ever rush anything. He relays his history with waiting hours at a weed farm and Leyla explains she is quite calm during Talon missions, letting her focus and be patient a lot easier than she normally would. Everyone understands they have to think through every step because they are playing a dangerous game.

Once they finish the talk, a lighthearted discussion begins about other topics when Leyla notices there is someone else in the basement. They run after the intruder and Lelya finds him eventually. She carries him to the main room of the basement and figures out it is Hung Jae Min, a singer who works at Roosters Rest. He says he got keys for the basement when he became an event coordinator with Dreah and was looking around, stumbled into the wall, and it opened. Leyla doesn’t believe him and calls down Denzel and Gloryon.

She keeps Jae with her while Denzel and Gloryon discuss how to deal with this problem. They decide almost immediately to kill him and keep his body in the basement. They return with a knife and a baseball bat. Jae understands he messed up and will have to die, accepting his fate. Gloryon and Denzel apologize and attack him at the same time, with Denzel stabbing him and Gloryon hitting him in the head.

Denzel moves his body down to the room where Meow was killed and leaves him there. Another body in the basement. Gloryon takes Jae’s basement key just in case. All three leave the basement and lock up, hoping there isn’t another incident like that in the future.

Victory

While six candidates were in the running for the mayor of Los Santos, it became clear as the voting days passed that there were only two viable options: Denzel Williams or Abdul AlRahim. After a vicious election season with violent threats and numerous attacks from the opposition, the Williams team are exhausted by the time it comes to make an announcement. Dreah Johnson, Head of Marketing for the Rooster’s Rest, alongside Penny Farthing, the CEO of the Rooster’s Rest, had been leading the team tirelessly for a week straight, constantly getting out the word to vote and throwing events to attract crowds.

Finally, a state announcement calls the citizens down to City Hall to hear who the new mayor will be. Judge Stanton alongside the former mayor Andi Jones announce that Denzel Williams is the next mayor. Shortly after the announcement, Ursula Leichenberg of LSBN wrote an article summarizing the results. Despite poll numbers that projected Denzel and Abdul to be neck and neck, Denzel won with 52% of the vote and Abdul lost with 45%. The lifers, Ursula reported, voted in favor of Denzel by 98%. And, much to Sheriff Kyle Pred’s frustration, the PD vote was split with around 56% voting for Abdul and 40% voting for Denzel.

Talon Meeting with the Mayor

After the celebration, Denzel gets started on his plans to use the office for both his and Talon’s gain. He quickly realizes that as mayor, information comes very easily. Cops trust him implicitly, he’s invited to important city meetings, and he can monitor the state account that shows every single transaction a citizen makes. The next day, Lang calls a meeting for the Guild and Denzel down in the Rooster’s basement and they discuss what’s coming up next. First, Lang shows the Guild members that had been away from the city the small cat that suddenly appeared since Meowfurryon’s death, curled up on a box in the same room where they stabbed him. They pet Clyde and then convene around the big meeting table. While this is a major victory, Lang believes Denzel has to lie low for at least a few weeks before doing anything major with Talon to prove to people that Denzel is a legitimate mayor. They also discuss the rumors surrounding Deputy Sam Baas and the mysterious disappearance of Dundee. Lang received a call from Riley telling him that they suspect the police may have something to do with it, and Lang plants the seed that Baas could have something to do with Meowfurryon’s disappearance as well. Lang also reveals to the Guild that he is now a part-owner of LSBN and can see any of the articles or tapes before they are published. So, if there is any word or evidence of police corruption, they will know. Lang also emphasizes that the Guild has to keep moving forward with their quest to kill a member of the DOC. And, despite how inconvenient it will be, Fontaine will most likely have to be the victim.

In a one-on-one meeting with Denzel after he says goodnight to the Guild, Lang learns of Denzel’s plans to use the mayor’s office as a meeting spot for dealing guns. It’s the perfect place to hand off the money, in a locked room with no chance of the PD watching.

The Inside Job

Department of Corrections Captain Wynona Fontaine is on her way to transport Maximilian “Yung Dab” Thoroughbred to the Parsons Rehabilitation Center for his regular therapy sessions with Pixie Plum, however, Yung Dab never arrived at Parsons.

The prison transport needed to refuel their vehicle which they did at the gas station near Great Ocean Highway when a vehicle who have been tailing them for approximately six minutes move in and hold up the prison transport, Wynona Fontaine, Yeager Demonblood, Lando Stormborn and Bjorn the Barbarian were all placed in handcuffs by the assailants. The Guild members were on voluntary Department of Corrections duty to assist Fontaine with the prison transport.

Yung Dab got moved into a Vehicle by three masked Individuals, Gloryon, Gea Stagdancer and Lang Buddha. As they move Yung Dab to the Roosters Rest they contemplate how easy it was to break out Yung Dab due to the Department of Corrections being understaffed, while Dab explains how writing a couple software apps in order to teach prisoners to read made him eligible for therapy, he tells some stories about maximum security when they arrive at the Roosters Rest, Gloryon moves into the building to clear it out of prying eyes.

Young Dab gets moved to the staff room before the entire building gets sweeped again, Lang inquires if Dab really wanted to get broken out of prison in which he responds with yes, Dab explains how he tried to use therapy as leverage to get back into the general population of the Bolingbroke State Penitentiary, this however, changed his plans drastically. He further elaborates the lengths that Wynona Fontaine uses for the prison transports that have been conducted between Bolingbroke and Parsons for Dab, a decoy transport with a decoy guard that is driving up to Parsons, while she drives in a more lowkey vehicle that attracts less eyes.

Lang, standing in front of Yung Dab, who is wearing a prison overall and monkey mask, asks Dab to take off the mask, As Dab takes off the mask Lang is met with a young face with a skull Tattooed on it. Lang is in awe as to how Yung Dab looked so young, given the time he was in Jail. Dab explains his methods and wants to know how he managed to break him out. Lang tells him about his web of connections, having all the Lifers on his side, Pixie Plum and The Guild. Dab explains that his impression during his prison sentence was that nothing has really changed and all the people in power he went against are still reigning. As the conversation moves on, Dab asks if Lang blows up buildings too, in which Lang responds to Yes, admitting to “allegedly” blowing up the F.I.B building. Dab asks if Lang is Talon, Lang confused, inquires how he would know, Dab retorts that he watched the Talon Videos in prison. Their conversation ends with Yung Dab and Lang Buddha agreeing to work together since their Ideologies match.

Lang takes Dab to the basement where he is supposed to hide and lay low for a while. Lang shows him the different rooms in the basement and assigns him a Room in which Dab can lay low.

For now.

Sharing Bad News

Captain Wynona Fontaine arrives at the Mission Row Police Department with her voluntary Department of Corrections Detail consisting of Yeager Demonblood, Lando Stormborn and Bjorn the Barbarian. Presently there are Lieutenant Clarence Williams and Senior Deputy Daisy Dukakis who were hailed by 311 at the request of Captain Fontaine.

Fontaine, furious, wants to know why her 13A (Urgent Emergency) call was ignored when she was held up at a gas station doing a prison transport and why only Emergency Medical Services responded, no police. Lt. Williams explains that they haven’t noticed any 13A calls and apologizes to Fontaine. However, Fontaine explains the magnitude of the issue and what just happened.

Fontaine uses the projector within the room to show a file of a Maximum Security prison inmate named Maximilian Thoroughbred also known as Yung Dab. Before either Lt. Williams or Sen. Deputy Dukakis could ask questions Fontaine explained that Yung Dab had just been broken out of a prison transport that drove him to his regular scheduled therapy session at Parsons with Pixie Plum. Fontaine demands that the entire Police Department should be notified of said breakout and that a known terrorist is now freely roaming the general population of Los Santos. A fellow Department of Corrections Officer hands over Dab’s Sketchbook to Daisy Dukakis as Fontaine begs Clarence Williams to not tell Tony Andrews what had just occurred. Fontaine and her voluntary DoC detail leave the Room while Lt. Williams sends an E-Mail to Andrews about the Events, asking for help.

Clarence then goes on Radio to broadcast the following message:

“Yung Dab is in the General Public of Los Santos, This is not a joke, A Terrorist is Free”

His message was met with silence and disbelief over the Radio.

A Gnome Strolls Down Memory Lane

A man dressed in all black is cycling on the freeway on a BMX bike. The sun is falling as he makes his way to a destination all too familiar to him. A building complex looms in the horizon: the powerplant. He climbs up onto a container and stares fondly at the scene. The man removes his mask and the iconic skull tattoo on his face gives away his identity. It's Los Santos's most wanted fugitive, Maximilian Thoroughbred aka Yung Dab.

Dab continues on his way, riding his BMX on the train tracks heading into the city. He takes a brief respite on a hill, taking in the scene of vibrant colours of the city. He does a quick dab and makes his way to Mirror park. Dab stops in front of a house and heads to the backyard of it. At the backdoor of the house, he leaves a gnome mask. This house belongs to none other than his adopted son, Siz Fulker. He heads next door and leaves another gnome mask at its front door. This house belongs to Trooper Olivia Copper and Dean Watson. Olivia Copper was one of the last people he saw before he got sent into Max Sec. He travels further down the street and gives Boe a hug and a kiss, he then purchases a phone at Digital Den before he moves on to his next destination.

Along the way, he passes MRPD and gives a celebratory finger towards it. Yung Dab travels further into the city, making his way to the southside. He drops by the old Fast Lane imports where he bought his iconic Lamborghini. He leaves another Gnome mask there. As he is passing by Forum Drive. He is stopped by 3 members of the Grove Street Families. They ask him what’s his business down there. He replies he’s here to sightsee old places of his past. The gang bangers ask for his name. He replies “Max.” After a quick chit chat, he leaves them with a parting comment. “Tell Dexx, Dab said hello.”

Yung Dab cycles his way to bennys and leaves a note there. “Carwash” it says. He goes down the road where the southside car wash is located and leaves another note. “Bennies”. It’s an old joke only his close friends would know. Dab’s next stop is the roof opposite the jewellery store. This was where he had his last stand before his incarceration. He drops another Gnome mask here. He continues his journey and ends up at the pink cage. A place where everybody used to live at. Another Gnome mask is left here.

After a quick change of clothes at the clothing store, Yung Dab is now looking fly in a burger shot uniform and julio mask. He ends up at the mansion behind Rooster’s Rest. He opens up his phone and after a moment of scrolling through tweets, he decides to post one of his own. “#BOVICEUNIVERSE anyone got any pruno? HMU”

This is how Maximilian Thoroughbred marked his return to Los Santos...

Have you seen my Dab?

Lang runs out of his apartment in order to be picked up by Gea Stagdancer when he notices a twat appearing across his phone. Stunned, he reads that Maxmilian Thoroughbred has twatted a message out. Even worse there are multiple other citizens responding to this twat, Stagdancer opens the car door to Lang attempting to scream in a whipered tone asking "What the fuck is he doing". Lang rushes to Roosters Rest to check the basement where he last left Yung Dab, to no avail.

Desperate, Lang begins sending out disguised twats with his phone number in order to have Dab phone him before calling Denzel to assist in the search. Lang informs Denzel that he has helped Yung Dab break out of prison and he is now twatting, not only that, he has shown him the basement which was the last place he saw him but he is not there now.

Growing panicked, Lang has Denzel take them out to search in his Roosevelt Valour when an unknown number calls with Yung Dab on the other end. Pissed, Lang asks why he has been twatting with his own name under his own account when he is a super terrorist who has only escaped police custody less than 24 hours ago. Dab agrees, and tells Lang where he is so they can come pick him up.

Shortly after, Lang and Denzel arrive at a gas station in North Rockford to pick up Yung Dab disguised in a Burger Shot uniform. Dab tells them that he's been riding around on a bicycle visiting old haunts. Worried, Lang wonders aloud if this is the subtle escape he was talking about before, and Dab agrees he should calm down. As they drive to Roosters Rest Lang introduces Denzel and Denzel notifies Dab he is the mayor, that he assisted in blowing up the F.I.B building, and he is a cop murderer. Speechless, Dab questions “how?” as they arrive and he follows them into the basement.

Once they are in the safety of the basement, Lang angrily asks "what happened to the subtle comeback and being low-key?" Dab responds telling him it was only a matter of days before cops blame Fontaine and know he is out. He reassures Lang that while he usually isn't subtle at all, he will be for his sake. Lang reminds Dab that if the police catch him he is right back to where he was before. He moves on to tell Dab that Denzel is working on getting him a new identity as well as knows a tattoo artist for changing or removing his face tattoo, a man named Vasily Sazkaljovich.

As they trade fond memories of V, Lang receives a phone call from Yeager telling him to open the basement door. Lang then introduces him to Yung Dab as his son, successor, and another Talon member before giving Dab a tour of the basement.

First, Lang takes them to the Sanctum where they killed Meowfurryon in order to introduce Dab to their cat Clyde. Confused, Yeager asks "which cat they are referring to?" and is disgusted to find a cat resting in the room he killed his friend in. Lang leaves the room and calls Bjorn to have him bring the sword to the basement, but he, Lando, and Stag are hanging out with Trooper Olivia Copper to Lang's dismay. Lang re-enters the room Yeager, Dab, and Denzel are chatting in and questions how weird all this is. Dab retorts that he should think of it from his perspective, an old associate of his has a terrorist organization with a giant underground labyrinth and is talking about tradition.

Next, Lang shows Dab the arcade room which houses machines that are programmed with the old mini-games from back in the day, unfortunately they are not functional. Denzel interrupts the tour as he receives a phone call from Gloryon because he has arrived at the basement door to be let in. Annoyed, Lang shouts that the rest of the Guild is with Copper, Dab laughs and asks “if he means Olivia Copper” because he left a Gnome mask on her doorstep earlier.

Third, Lang takes them into the Library and introduces Gloryon to Dab. Dab asks "if he has killed that white-haired bitch yet?" Lang remarks no, since it was one of his employees, Shazza. Confused, Yeager says if it wasn't Fiona they found snooping then they should have killed her, to Denzel's agreement. Still angry about earlier, Lang yells at Dab asking "why was he twatting and what the fuck was he doing". Dab tells him he is a "social media influencer" that has to connect with his audience, and recounts his activities for the day. Lang asks if there was a reason he dropped off the mask at Copper’s, Dab responds saying it was nothing other than to scare people but also “to get the ball rolling for his plan of helping people see something that might allow them to establish some kind of identity for themselves”.

Growing increasingly worried over Dab's actions, Lang asks if he has gone crazy, Dab assures him that he feels quite aware and more lucid than he has been since even before being sent in. He tells a story about how for a time after he went into prison he had so completely disassociated himself from his actions that he was talking to himself in his persona, but that after breaking down he has again found his center, although still hears the Gnome mask from time to time calling to him. Lang asks if Dab would like to see his mask.

They venture down another floor to the chamber that houses Lang’s family mask which has been there for hundreds of years. He directly asks what Dab's plans are and what he wants, Dab answers saying he would like to know everything plus have a meeting with their boss, also as he is on a time limit with the cops he would like to offer his services to the boss. Appreciating his directness, Lang informs Dab that Talon has been run by his family for generations. He found out about this a couple years back, then the Gnomes happened, Bovice world, Dab and the others disappeared, and after everything Lang came back to revisit his family's history.

Before moving to another chamber which houses a book containing the history of Talon, Lang brings in Leyla to introduce her to Dab. Lang explains that Denzel, him, plus a few others have gathered in order to keep the Police, the Department of Justice, and Government in check as they weren't doing it themselves and are corrupt. And after killing cops in order to make a statement that didn't work out, they blew up a building which made them start listening.

Now after some years and everything cooling off, he reopened the restaurant, recruited the nerds, and started talking to Dr. Pixie which is how he heard the name “Max”, and tasked the Guild to get close with the Department of Corrections in order to find out more. Confused, Dab wonders how it was so simple for them to become DoC, Lang remarks that "everyone massively under-estimates the nerds . Yeager explains how the DoC had a meeting the day previous about how they would transport the prisoners, they planned a decoy vehicle, decoy prisoner, as well as a decoy DoC which would leave before the real one. Also he reveals that Gloryon and him syphoned gas from the real transport vehicle, causing Yung Dab to realize that is why they had to fill up at a gas station where he was broken out, surprised, he remarks how they had this all thought out and that he owes them one.

Dab inquires what he would need to do in order to join Talon, Lang answers “you don’t join Talon, you are invited when the time comes” and the only things needed of him is for him to keep the secret of Talon as well as figure out what he would like out of this.

Wondering what has been keeping Lang and Talon down, Dab asks what has them most pissed off. Lang responds saying there is so much to go over but the most important of which is Sam Baas. He describes the events leading up to Meowfurryon’s waterboarding, the court case where Baas was convicted, and how he is an officer who is running for Chief of Police now after only doing some bike duty and 1 year in jail. Then after all this he comes back to attempt to befriend Meowfurryon and turn him against them, to which Dab asks if Meow was involved with the Talon stuff and if he snitched. Lang answers that ultimately they believed that if he was kept alive he would snitch, Yeager interrupts wondering if Dab has ever killed someone he loved.

In response Dab spills a secret, he informs them that he was the one who set up Al Saab, he did it because he was too scared of the people who told him to do it. Despite remembering, Lang tells him the past is the past, he's more than redeemed himself in his eyes, plus shortly after him and Tony went on to assist Dab in planning plus executing his terrorist attacks.

Moving forward, Lang wants to take baby steps and first establish Dab into the world as a new man to reintegrate him back into society so no one questions who he is. Further, he knows that there are people he would like to get into contact with, but to be careful with who he speaks to, and to go in easy as a lot has changed since the time he walked the streets. Dab agrees, and assures him he will not be the person who ruins this for Talon. Finally, Lang announces they should get out of the basement to buy Dab some new clothes, a haircut, and possibly a beard.

They drive up north towards Sandy Shore to find a clothing store, where Dab leaves with a few new outfits to hide in. While driving back to Roosters Rest, Gloryon brings up the possibility of Dab disguising his voice, as Yeager decides which name they will call him from now on. Lang suggests that they pretend he is one of Yeager’s nerd relatives who have flown into town. After arriving back at the Roosters, Dab decides on a voice and a name, he is Billy, Yeager’s nerd cousin who is in town visiting and now works a janitor job at Roosters Rest.

Interesting man, Lang Buddha

Dean Watson wishes to speak with Lang alone at the CLean Manor. Dean asks Lang if he knows anyone by the name of Maximilian Thoroughbred. Dean states that Trooper Olivia Copper had come to him to vent about this clown and express her involvement in his arrest and her fear now that he is on the loose. Dean says Copper has never said she is afraid of anyone before.

From Copper, Dean found out that Lang is a person of interest in Yung Dab's escape because the Guild members reported being on the transport that was hijacked. Lang seems bothered by this news. Dean goes on to say that Department of Corrections Captain Wynona Fontaine is being investigated for all this and suspended. Lang interjects that this is all according to plan as she is the scapegoat.

Dean retorts that when Copper was telling him about Dab and his antics, he found himself agreeing with Dab, and he is feeling the fire he felt when Lang first showed him the basement. Interested, Lang questions what Dean wants out of this. Dean replies that he wants to protect Olivia and would like a meeting with Yung Dab to ask him a question. Also, to tell him Copper is off-limits. Lang agrees, he will arrange a meeting, but if Dean were to betray him when he trusts and loves him so much, he would die. Dean rebukes him, saying that it is just a neutral talk. And if Lang told him he was scared or in trouble, he would take care of the issue just the same.

Dean exits the manor waiting to hear from Lang again.

Billy? What is going on Lang

At a clothing store on Strawberry Avenue, Lang and Harry wait out front for Yuno when a masked man riding a bicycle pulls up to change clothes. Lang shouts at him to ask if his name is Billy. What is going on Lang, the man replied to him. Panicked, Lang breaks the news to Harry that the man is Yung Dab. In disbelief, Harry reminds him they are in a stolen vehicle. Lang then tasks him with watching Billy change while he rents a car for them to drive in.

After renting a truck, Lang returns to pick up Harry, Yuno, and Billy. Lang introduces Yuno to Billy and lets him know he is Yeager's nerd cousin who is visiting. Following a brief car ride, the group arrives at CLean Manor so that Lang can speak privately with Billy, while the rest take off for other business.

Blown away, Billy remarks how impressive the manor is, calling it Lang's second castle, referring to the Roosters Rest as his first castle. Lang confirms this place is safe as well, and he can remove his mask. Dab explains his plan to use connections he is making while riding around on his bicycle to manipulate others into soldiers for his army of people who otherwise would be left behind. Lang interrupts to claim the same was done with the nerds. Dab disagrees as he wouldn't care about these people, which Lang reminds him that he killed one of the nerds for the cause. Dab answers he hasn't thought it all out yet but does not want these people to work for Lang or him. Dab will find out their phone numbers, form connections with them, and give them certain activation words. So that when he sends out a command, maybe they will see it and act.

Speechless, Lang indicates they are not on that level yet. Dab agrees that it is a plan for the future, and they don't have to go that hard yet but that it is something he is setting up. Lang explains why he reached out to him and knew this would be something that interests him. Then describes one of Talon's plans to schedule a big court case, infiltrate, cut the power, then kill every government official inside and leave.

Next, Lang questions if Dab wants to kill Copper. Confused, Dab answers he has no sympathy for police officers and if he had an excuse or reason he would like to see them die, but had only spoke with her twice and does not know if she was involved with his capture. Lang reveals he has been informed, with information coming from Copper, that he is a person of interest in Dab's escape. The person he received this information from is someone close to Copper, but thinks like him and Dab, and is a powerful man in the city, Dean Watson.

Dab worries if they can trust this man. Lang expresses he trusts Dean with his life. He is a good friend, a business partner, crazy, and has sort of radicalized himself by trying to explode city hall with all the judges in it to rebuild it from the ground up again. Also, Lang has shown him the basement in Roosters Rest. He warns him of how intelligent, manipulative, and cold this man can be. Dab interrupts and wants to know where he is going with this. Lang explains this man is dating Copper, loves her, and wants to meet with Yung Dab. He also plans to tell him not to kill Copper. After a hearty chuckle, Dab tells Lang he will meet with this man because he trusts Lang and owes him a lot, but also this may be the event that will take Lang's relationship with Dean to the next level then they can turn him around on Copper.

Dean arrives and follows Lang into the master bedroom. Billy removes his mask and greets him, introducing himself as Max, then attempts to clear the confusion by announcing he never had any intention to kill his girlfriend. Dean elaborates that Copper is afraid because she believes she played a part in the incarceration of a super terrorist. And the Gnome mask found on her porch. Embarrassed, Dab explains that he didn't leave it for her on purpose. Dab was trying to leave it for Siz Fulker but wasn't sure which house was his, so he left two.

Relieved, Dean makes sure he did not target Copper. Dab assures him that he wasn't leaving it for her. It was a gift for an old friend. Dean expresses that Siz did receive the mask, but he is in denial over the news. Siz told Copper that he believes someone has hacked his account and is playing games. Excited, Dab shouts about his love for Siz and gets his phone number from Dean.

Dab tells Dean he will honor his request to spare Copper because Lang respects and trusts him with his life, and therefore he will trust him with his life. Dean appreciates this and lets them know they can still mess with her, but do not let her be near the torture or killing.

Lang asks if Dean can obtain an ID for him with the name being Tim Allen. Speechless, Dean confirms the name, T. Allen.

Finally, Dean says farewell to Tim and Lang, also lets them know to call him if they need anything before leaving the manor. Lang leads Dab out with a to-do list: they need to get him a gun, a car, and access to a house to park that car when he doesn't need it. Dab questions how he would own the car and home. Lang replies they will figure it out.

Lang takes Dab into the city to show off his penthouse as well as to retrieve his Bentley. They discuss the effect Dab and his legacy have had on the city. Lang worries that he isn't effectively getting Talon's message out and would like help in shaping that message. Dab agrees but shares this worry explaining how he could not do all the things he planned back in the day because the city was a much smaller place, so he had to pull help and inspiration from his few friends. That he instead wanted to build an army of people who have been cheated out of what they deserve, that some true geniuses are unable to realize their true genius because they are made to get jobs or kept down due to circumstances. But did not have the number of people or resources necessary, Lang tells him to work a day or two at the Roosters Rest as this is a great place to find individuals like this and hires many people like that.

Lang takes him by the Mirror Park Tavern to show him that his boy Siz owns the place, and if he ever wants his location, he could come down here to do so. He questions what happened to Siz after he went to prison. Lang retorts he is getting older, so he doesn't remember it all, but Siz is a good guy, owns the Tavern now, plus they are two of the biggest distributors of meth in the city, Dab remarks he truly has his hands in everything.

Lang wants to know what is next for Yung Dab as he is sure there are things he would like to do. Dab responds there are ten people he would like to call but does not have their phone numbers. Also, he is a bit nervous since they might not remember him or have moved on. Lang announces that Gomer remembers him and spoke to him about the Gnome mask left at the jewelry store. Before giving Dab his phone number. Lang says the only thing he would like in return is that everything he will see and learn stays secret. This secret has been closely guarded for a very long time and is a giant leap of faith on his part. Dab agrees and assures him he will be keeping the secret.

Dab shares the names of a few people he plans to call, Alabaster Slim, Gomer, Siz Fulker, Jenny Hall, Kevin Shaw, Eugene, Mr. K. Also met Ramee on the street and spoke to him for a short while, but they did not say much. Surprised, Lang warns him to be careful, Dab reassures him not to be worried about him.

As they drive around, Dab questions who is enemy number one. Lang quickly answers Sam Baas and the police department. Also, the Department of Justice, because people are sitting in prison waiting, Held until Trial, with no court date set for over two weeks now. Lang tries to put it in perspective by retelling how Baas took their friend Meowfurryon to be water-boarded; now he is past the court case with no consequences. And, it would not be as bad if he had never taken his oath to protect but instead wears that oath selfishly to shield himself. Lang explains it is not only Baas too. But the list goes on, and someone needs to keep these people in check.

Interrupting their drive, Dean calls Dab to let him know that Siz Fulker is around, after which Dab immediately phones him. They exchange cheerful greetings, Siz questions how he is alive and has escaped, Dab answers that they do not kill you in max security, they make you wish you were dead also that he cannot explain how he has escaped but that the DoC is woefully understaffed.

Before inquiring if the events from the past few days have been him, Siz recounts how much he missed his stepdad. He became a drug kingpin to afford to buy his old Lamborghini to keep safe, became a terrorist for a short time before being caught, and screamed his name from the rooftops when everyone said he passed away and forgot about him.

Frustrated, Dab questions why everyone thought he was dead, informing Siz this time they will make sure they do not forget. Also, he heard he owns a business plus climbed the criminal underbelly all by himself, this pleases him, and he is proud. He shares that Dean Watson knows that he has escaped and is helping him.

Moving forward, Lang suggests, the way to keep the police and Department of Justice in check is by exposing their wrongdoings. Dab responds this will be difficult as they have already taken an officer to court for torture with unsatisfying results. If they are to use exposure, it must be something much worse or propaganda that they will work to make people believe is real. Lang agrees and reiterates that his ability to get his point across is why he wants him to assist in getting Talon's message out.

Curious, Dab asks what he has told the nerds to believe. Lang states, he told them to start a revolution, they need to be ready for it, that there is a lot they need to learn and expose themselves to before they move to the next step. And comments it was sort of destiny that the Baas incident happened to the nerds, where they ended up with a dead friend and him in the running for Chief of Police, as they found out why his thoughts and goals are what they are.

Dab questions if he considers the nerds below him or as equals. Lang tells him that he used to think of them as below him but now thinks of them as equals. Painting how Gloryon has come from a simple live-action roleplayer to a meth kingpin. He explains that they cook meth as one of their avenues of funding the organization. Dab asks how much the nerds know about their ideology before discussing the foundation of Talon and its purpose. Dab proposes he write something like a mission statement or doctrine for their organization, to Lang’s approval.

Lang leads them back to his penthouse to show a secret. After disappearing into his closet, he reappears clad in Shadow’s armour. Lang explains this suit is a symbol Talon uses to inspire action and fear, stopping short of telling him the long story of how they acquired the armour. He also reveals he possesses a sword the man who used to wear that armour would wield to slay his enemies. And after two years of searching, an unknown woman handed him a medallion leading him to this sword, further cementing his belief in destiny. Dab asks if he can see it. But it is being held by another for safekeeping, Bjorn Corleone.

They continue driving, agreeing they both are willing to do anything it takes and relieved that their thinking is so aligned. Lang informs him the reason he has amassed so much wealth from Roosters Rest, the dispensary, and meth is to then pour it all back into the organization. It is all for their ultimate goal, and for example, he spent a million dollars making Denzel the mayor.

Lang states that so much information is being given to him daily because Denzel is mayor and because of his other connections. Even from Bolingbroke, where prisoners with life sentences call to tell him anything that goes on in there, plus there are a lot of people who spill secrets while they are in prison. These lifers are part of how he heard that Pixie Plum spoke with a man in maximum security two months ago.

Shocked, Dab describes when he first met Yeager during one of the transports. He found out that Tony was his uncle but thought nothing of it because he remembered Lang differently than the man beside him now. Lang admits that he is a different man than he was before. At first, when Lang found out about Talon, Lang decided not to deal with it but later found himself deeply involved. Now he is an older man who only wishes to carry his family's burden and fulfill their purpose.

In response, Dab opens up about his desire to see the Department of Justice abolish the police force to see what it is like to live in absolute and total anarchy, even if only for one day. This plan is something he considers like an end goal. Interested, Lang reminds him they will have to lay the groundwork for an idea this big. But they own the mayor, so it is something they can accomplish with time. Dab agrees, they will need time to build the fear and doubt necessary for this to succeed.

Lang loves this idea, though. He says the success of Dab's plan, even if only for one day, would leave a lasting impression on Los Santos. Similar to the Gnomes or Bovice world. Dab shares that he spoke with Bovice recently, and he feels that someone like Bovice would thrive in the plan he described. And he never got the chance to live as they do, explaining that no one ever taught Bovice to read and was betrayed by the circumstances in which he grew up. Expressing that part of the reason he is inspired to do what he does is to give people like Bovice a chance to stand on equal footing with others.

Agreeing with his sentiment, Lang reveals there are twenty to forty inmates at any given time wandering around Bolingbroke on life sentences. They are never allowed to have parole. And shares his plan to one day break the inmates out, if even for only one hour, because what makes these inmates different than officers like Baas, who are allowed to get away with murder.

Returning to the clothing store on Strawberry Avenue. Lang informs Dab he is feeling immensely better after their long discussion and tells Dab there will be a Talon meeting in the coming days, and he will be working on getting Dab the ID, car, and house as soon as possible.

Long Overdue

Lang Buddha and Harry Brown head toward the Roosters Rest after a long day, Lang intends to show Harry something that was long overdue, the basement.

Lang and Harry walk in the storage closet and then through the hidden door, Harry, speechless, is fascinated by what has been under his nose the entire time. As Lang leads Harry towards the first Point of interest, The Sanctum, he explains that this is the place where Clyde “Meowfurryon” Eastside has been killed. Harry questioned whether it was after he gave Meowfurryon weed to sling, which he did in front of the Mission Row Police Department. When Harry questions the purpose of the room, Lang retorts that they have been trying to restore the tunnels that have been down there.

After the Sanctum, they arrive in Lang's personal quarters where Lang shows him the Armor of Shadow. As the tour continues towards the armory, Harry expresses his fascination with the Basement, especially the sound proofing. The tour ends at the Book of Talon where Lang describes it as a journal which he spent years translating so other members of the organization could read it, Harry questions Lang about other members which he answers with:

“The Organization is pretty big, Harry.”

Harry is shocked by the revelation, he was under the impression that he knew Lang very well, Lang goes on to explain that with all the reckless stuff he does from time to time nothing comes close to the basement and the organization, it is a secret that is kept very tight. Before they leave Lang explains that Denzel being mayor is part of a much grander scheme which stunned Harry but made sense according to him, furthermore, Lang explains that it was him who broke Maximilian “Yung Dab” Thoroughbred out of Maximum Security prison.

Before they leave, Harry expresses his gratitude for Lang entrusting him with this information as it seems very important to him, Lang reaffirms Harry that he would die for him and that he is one of the few people who are on par with Saab, Ellie, Tony and Denzel level of trust to him.

Dinner Date

After speaking with Lang Buddha in detail about his future plans for Denzel Williams and the nerds, Yung Dab asks Lang to have dinner with Siz Fulker to squash their differences. Dab respects Lang for orchestrating his escape and wants to mend relations for the greater plan. Lang reluctantly agrees to have dinner with Siz. On the day of the dinner, Lang is heavily involved with the boys on a Bobcat heist. In true Cleanboy fashion Lang’s parachute fails to open and Lang is stuck on the side of Mt. Chiliad while the boys traverse down the mountainside. In heroic fashion Tony, Yuno and Ray lead the cops away and escape, setting up a rescue of Lang in a helicopter. Tony flies them to Grandpa’s to get Lang back on his feet and secure the loot.

Lang short on time, and late to the dinner meeting with Dab and Siz, lands the Helicopter in the backyard of the manor. Due to the power outage Lang walks into the pitch black manor to see Dab, Siz and a few of the nerds sitting around the glowing fire. With no electricity the dinner plans are canceled and the meeting is moved to the back courtyard.

The conversation starts when Dab gets straight to the point and says he wants Lang and Siz to be friends. Both sides express the problems incurred during their Meth talks, but neither hold much of a grudge anymore. Dab expresses that he wants to make sure if it comes down to that both sides can work together on super secret plans. Lang becomes alarmed that Dab may be referring to Talon and takes him aside to speak privately. Lang makes it clear to Dab that he will never trust Siz with his family’s deepest secret. Dab agrees to keep Siz in the dark about Talon but both agree that Siz and the HOA would be useful in their plan to overthrow the government.

As Lang and Dab reconvene with Siz, Ray emerges from the Manor. Dab being wary of who to include tells Ray they are having a private conversation at which point Ray hastefully turns away and leaves the manor. The conversation continues as Dab lays out the “Final Plan” to Siz in detail. He emphasizes that dividing the city into districts run by the respected gang leaders will provide a cash grab opportunity. If all else fails and the coup is short lived the ultimate goal is to leave a lasting legacy that will be talked about forever. Siz in agreement with the plan states that he is willing to work with Lang to rebuild the trust between the two so when the day comes everyone is willing to nod and do what must be done. At the end of Lang’s involvement in the meeting he suggests that Dab speak with Dean Watson regarding the plan.

A Reunion of Old Friends

Dab and Siz construct a plan to lure Kevin Shaw, Dab’s former attorney, into a meeting so Dab can surprise Shaw with his escape. Siz makes up a story about a meth deal gone wrong to convince Shaw he needs legal representation. Siz and Dab make their way to the top of a parking garage overlooking the ocean. In his plan to jump scare Shaw, Dab makes his way to the roof to hide until the time is right. The plan goes sideways when Dab falls from the roof and is incapacitated on the table below. With Dab’s condition unbeknownst to Siz he meets with Shaw and elaborates on his made up story. As time goes on Siz becomes worried that Dab hasn’t shown and becomes anxious as he hears sirens approaching. In a quick effort Siz is able to find Dab just as two ambulances approach. They swoop up Shaw and take off toward Grandma’s. Shaw is in disbelief as he learns Dab is the passenger.

During the trip to Grandma’s Dab explains his escape and leads on to his intentions as a free man. Shaw is stun locked and upset that Dab never reached out to him while he was in prison. Shaw feels that he could get Dab off his charges by getting Dab diagnosed as being clinically insane thus making his confession inadmissible. The conversation continues on the mountainside above Grapeseed after Dab is healed at Grandma’s. Dab and Shaw discuss the possibility of a court case to drop the charges as a back up plan in the event Dab is captured. With conversations between Dab and Shaw being covered under client confidentiality Dab lays out his full plan to overthrow the government and stage a coup. During the conversation Dab informs Shaw that he was broken out by Lang and alludes to Lang having connections all over the city including Dean Watson and Denzel the Mayor.

Shaw mentions to Dab that Jenny Hall has been tweeting at Dab in an attempt to get his number. Dab alludes that he has intentions of reaching out to her at some point. His plans with Jenny are still unknown. Dab receives a call from Dean informing him that Alabaster Slim is trying to contact him. Shortly after pinging Slim, he arrives with Dean and Olga Sazkaljovich. To his surprise is met by Siz and Shaw. After a family hug Olga tells Dab about her fandom of his music when she was a child and how she got his autograph.

The conversation turns serious when Dab asks Dean if everyone in the group can be trusted with their plans. Dean airs out everyone's secrets, Slim being a gun manufacturer, Siz cooking meth, and Olga a mercenary. With everyone in the group now entrusted, Dab again lays out his plan to stage a coup and overthrow the government. Olga is overcome with joy and claps in excitement with Dab’s plans. Dab explains his plan to use Randy Wrangler as the fall guy for changing regulations around legal weed and guns. Olga brings up Slim wanting to kill Wrangler but decided to put that on the back burner as he may be more useful in the overall plan. The conversation continues as questions regarding the plan are discussed. Dean’s main concern is what happens to the plan if Dab is caught before they can see the plan unfold. Dab reassures him that the plan can continue without him. Dab has crafted a manifesto that can be carried out by the rest of those involved. Dab’s plans to talk to the group in the near future to further disclose his schemes.

Family Meeting

Jacob assembles Talon

After a long day, Jacob Harth finally gets his family meeting and invites all members of Talon to a meeting downstairs in the hidden basement of the Roosters Rest. He has good news, the Digital Den is flourishing thanks to the Pixel Laptop Jacob claims he has even more planned, but wants to focus on the present. He then proclaims that a partnership between the Guild’s Comicbook Store and Digital Den could be very fruitful, which Yeager Demonblood agrees upon. Furthermore Jacob offers every Guild member to go to school so they may learn how to build these new Laptops, just how Lang Buddha went to school so that he may build Phones, TV’s and the likes. During this conversation, Yeager expresses his struggle with finding a CEO, Talon members suggested the following:

Jacob suggested someone “who is like a mother to me”

Denzel suggested “Big Pussy”

Lang expresses his confusion as to why Denzel didn't suggest Andi Jones which is met with giggling and laughter.

The conversation derails, Yeager and Necrolord demand pay, which Lang reluctantly agrees upon, he also tells Yeager to check in with him more often.

Jacob reels everyone’s attention back in with a plea, he needs someone to own a specific business which would enable him to “offload Phones” which gives Jacob a paper trail of sorts.

The Meeting ends as Jacob urges everyone to attend classes at the USLA in the morning, Denzel will pack everyone a Lunch, Lang reminds everyone that school is important.

Back to the Future

Back to the Future

When Lang and Tony arrive back to Rooster’s Rest from the Digital Den adventure. They meet with Eddie Marshall. Eddie tells them that he has received information about a car that Lang has wanted for a while. A version of the “DeLorean” has been tracked and appears to be stolen by the hippies that own the Omega Garage. Eddie wants a crew to dress up and act like hippies to infiltrate their community and eventually retrieve the Delorean from their possession. Lang and Tony agree to help Eddie. They select Yeager Demonblood and Bjorn the Barbarian as the other two crew members in this mission. While they are getting dressed in appropriate attire, Don calls Lang. Don is also brought in to assist in the mission. Tony is to find the best moment to retrieve the car while the other 4 are to act as distractions.

When they arrive at the hippy camp, the car can be spotted amidst a bunch of the hippies. The hippies want the crew to join them in their traditions and talk about aliens. The hippies give LSD tablets to everyone in the group. The group heads inside the Omega garage as they meditate and talk to God and aliens. As the LSD kicks in, they hear aliens and voices talking to them.

Eventually, a couple of aliens enter the garage. The group rushes to attack them and Langs ends up shooting his gun. This alerts the cops and soon multiple police cars arrive on scene. While Don, Lang, Yeager and Bjorn flee the scene, Tony lock-picks the DeLorean and tries to flee the scene. However, he is pitted and flips the car on its roof. Lang, Yeager and Bjorn drive back to help Tony. But they are soon arrested and taken to MRPD. After questioning, Deputy Randy Wrangler releases Lang, Bjorn and Yeager if they can help him find the individual that gave them the LSD tablets. Tony is sent to prison for stealing the car. The car is taken to the impound by the Police.

Stag and Lang’s Excellent Adventure: Back to the Rooster

9 Mar 2021

The Strangest Trip

While interviewing Buddy Black for a position at the Rooster’s Rest, Lang Buddha sees a man in a white striped suit fall off the roof in front of the window behind him. He runs around to check who it is but doesn’t find anyone. Stagdancer arrives for work, and the two search the property. Lang comes across a man dressed in all black lurking on the hill by the RR and learns that he is an investigator. Lang offers him money to find out who is sneaking around. Eventually, Lang discovers LSD tablets in the dumpsters close to where the man in the white striped suit fell. They each take a pill and head inside the Rooster’s Rest. They proceed to go on a psychedelic trip, flashing to different locations in the basement, hearing eerie voices. A voice says, “You have to collect what is rightfully mine.”

Arush Patell "Speedy" Santana stops by the Rooster and shows Lang a bag of meth. Lang reveals he knows about meth. Speedy then tells Lang that he knows the locations that meth can be sold in his Barrio and lets him know they can have an arrangement if Lang gets involved in the meth business.

Lang gets the idea to return with Stagdancer to the location of the first time they tripped on LSD the day before. More tabs appear, and the Time Lord is summoned again, asking Lang what he desires most. Lang says the Deluxo DeLorean, money, friendship, family. The Time Lord takes them around the city on the trip, telling them he will let Lang know what he needs to do to get the DeLorean soon. When they return to the Rooster, they both start hearing and seeing things. After running around the block, they find three feathers in a dumpster. The voice of the Time Lord tells them, “Faith.”

What Has Been, What Will Be

Questioning the meaning of the message, Lang and Stagdancer travel back into the basement of Rooster’s Rest and pray to the Time Lord at the Stormlord’s shrine. No sign from the higher powers, so Lang and Stagdancer travel to the church near Rockford Hills. They both enter, pleading for the Time Lord. Then, more tabs appear on the ground as the Time Lord speaks to them. Lang and Stagdancer must take a leap of faith for the Time Lord, who instructs them to close their eyes. Suddenly, they’re teleported to the top of a skyscraper overlooking the city. Once the clock strikes 0530, they must leap off the roof one after another. Lang and Stagdancer jump off the building, appearing on the rooftop floor of the FIB Building, all too familiar to the Stormlord.

Lang tells Stagdancer that he was here many years ago, as they both take more tabs of LSD. Lang leads Stagdancer around the area, trying to find any signs of the Time Lord. As they approach a set of doors, the Time Lord speaks out, warning them that if they do not complete their task this would be the fate of the world. Worried, Lang warns Stagdancer that what he will see might’ve been or might be the work of Talon.

Descending lower into the building, the Time Lord tells them that this is where it all began. Lang opens the door into a vision of a destroyed FIB Building, gunshots ringing out around them. “In the year 2138…” says the Time Lord. More acid appears, and the Time Lord continues his warning, “Now you will see what will happen if you do not stop it. An organization that wanted to bring chaos to the world after many generations, the ones who call themselves Talon brought an end to it all.”

Lang is in shock, but the Time Lord tells them they must follow the vision before they lose the future, until he suddenly tells them to stop, “If you go any further, you will set in stone this future.” They must stop a contagion before it reaches the city in 2130, but for now, the Time Lord needs permission to return them to their time. “We destroy the world?” Lang asks himself as he teleports back into the Rooster’s Rest.

Fate of the Future

Lang and Stagdancer briefly catch Lando Stormborn up on the recent Time Lord events until Stagdancer mentions that someone is on the roof of Rooster’s Rest again. Lang scopes out the area and asks if the Time Lord is present, but he only finds shears of justice lying there. After showing the shears to Stagdancer and Lando, Lang wants to continue the Time Lord’s quest, so he collects the group to hunt down the Time Lord’s new lead.

Ellie Dono is picked up by Lang from a traffic stop and he catches her and Lando up to speed on the entirety of the Time Lord’s quest. Investigating the clue of justice, they search through the courthouse, eventually finding tabs lying on the floor of an office. They all take more tabs of LSD, and the Time Lord speaks to them again, “My name is Edwin Leviosa, but this is only my name in this time.” The Time Lord requests the shears of justice from Lang, so he collects his items from the front desk and searches the other side of the courthouse for any higher powers. They find more LSD in an office and take it. Lang drops the shears for the Time Lord.

“Many big players in this system worked together to bring the end of the world,” states the Time Lord. “The man who ran the Maze Bank in 2131 was Leslie Lingberg, who had extended his life with corrupt technologies. He was one but a player of many. There was another who planned to end the world for his own gain: Kevin Whipaloo III, great-grandson of Kevin Whipaloo. In 2132, he joined with Leslie Lingberg. And now, you must follow your new path…” A wine bottle appears on the floor, and they all hurry to the car, speeding north to the Winery.

They search through the Winery for any sign of the Time Lord, until Lang hears the call of the Time Lord through the vineyard. They run through the fields of grapes and across Route 68, calling out for the Time Lord. The call of the Time Lord brings them back down the vineyard and into the swamps outside of Fort Zancudo. They hurry to a dock, where they find an old Cattleman Revolver engraved with the name ‘John Marston’ and more tabs of LSD. The Time Lord speaks to the group, “It was in 2133 that Talon finally discovered what the big powers of the world were going to do to the people. It was both Talon and the Corporations that brought the end of the world with their destructive war. In doing so, Talon also destroyed the people. Now, a descendant of John Marston finds his way into Talon and steers them on the wrong path. A path of destruction, a path of too much violence as a means to an end. You must return this revolver to its rightful resting place alongside Marston.” Lang asks where to find him, and the Time Lord says Marston’s favorite church in Sandy Shores is where he was buried.

Lang, Stagdancer, Lando, and Ellie speed to the church and find Marston’s grave. Tabs appear by the grave, and the Time Lord instructs them to place his revolver directly next to his body, making sure to check what is around his finger. So, they all start digging out the grave. Once the dirt is cleared, Lang finds a strange ring on Marston’s finger, carved with a strange emblem. The Time Lord tells them to think about what this marking could mean and who does these things.

They make the treacherous climb up Mount Chiliad, hoping to track down any leads connected to the ring’s markings. At the top of the mountain, they find a mural painted on the wall with symbols from the ring. Acid appears on the ground in front of the mural and they take it. The Time Lord’s voice directs them to go inside and find their way out as soon as they can. The Time Lord gives them a blue diamond and even more LSD. They are teleported to a mine and directed to escape. At the exit of the mine, after presenting the Time Lord with the blue diamond they are given a Fukang Meteorite. Lang realizes that it is the same material that the Stormlord’s armor is made of. They go to the smeltery in the city. At the forge, the Time Lord gives them acid yet again, gives them a substance called Drug X, and tells them to go to the place the drug was found. He also tells them that they can prevent the end of the world. Lang gives up the Fukang Meteorite for the Time Lord to smelt and they head off to Humane Labs to find out more about the drug. On the drive to the lab, the questing team begins to interrogate why they are being led on all these steps and what are the Time Lord’s motives.

Large-flower-divider

How To Save The World (And Get Your Dream Car)

At Humane Labs, they LSD up once again and are instructed by the Time Lord to make it through the maze of the lab. As they sneak around, people in hospital gowns flicker in and out of existence. Around one corner, they find a glowing substance on the ground and pick it up. After they navigate the hallways, they are instructed by the Time Lord to put on scuba gear and escape the lab through the water. Once they reach land, the group must meet the Time Lord’s past self at a pier and present him with both the Drug X and the glowing substance.

They successfully escape through the water vents and drive to the pier. They deliver both objects to the Time Lord, he hops into the DeLorean and speeds across the water, disappearing into nothing. In a few seconds, he returns in the car after spending 37 years in the future. As a reward for giving him the objects, Edwin Leviosa/Time Lord gives them all one last dose of LSD and gives Lang the Deluxo DeLorean. Lang makes sure to ask for some extra LSD so he can prove to Wrangler that the trip the day before was not all a dream, and Bjorn and Yaeger can avoid going to jail. Lang and Lando, not before showing off the car at the apartments and to a couple of cops, drive the Deluxo DeLorean to Eddie Marshall’s tuner shop where it will be upgraded and modified.

The Formula-1 Heist

12 Jun 2021

With a Bang or With a... Shoe?

Big M, a Puppet working for the Puppet Master, calls Lang “TimeLord” Buddha and tells him that the mission for the Formula 1 engine is ready, and to meet him in the dilapidated Motel in Sandy Shores. As Lang Buddha arrives, he is met by Mary “RedDevil” Mushkin and Tony “DuckerZ” Corleone, a few minutes passed and Octavio “HyperGoofy” Stenberg.

Big M arrives and invites all four to follow him to where Razor is hiding, a secret garage totally off the grid. They follow him through Sandy and Grapeseed to a hidden garage location. Inside is a Maserati and a Lexus RCF, along with Razor.

Big M lays out the mission. The F1 car is not only a favor for Lang but is one for the Puppet Master as well. The person they are stealing the car from offended the Puppet Master, so this is payback. They are going to take the car from a guy who is against his plans for GNE.

They have to interrogate an unknown person who will tell them where the car is, as the location of the F1 car is moved often. They have to find the guy who knows in a hotel that you can only get into through a Helicopter. They have to get through the armed guards at night and get into apartment 50. If they are alerted, they will put the car into lockdown. Once they get into the room they can either interrogate him there or kidnap him and interrogate him off-site. They have to know where the F1 location is and steal the car before the sun comes up and it’s locked down again.

The group has to decide who drives the F1 car, and everyone in the PD will know once you steal it. Razor gives them a gift of a "Tracker Disabling Tool" to use in the car. It will disable the tracking inside of the car after 5 minutes. Before the tracker is disabled, it will be sending out alerts constantly. They are then to tweet out a message for Big M, who will give them a call.

The team needs handcuffs, radios, knives, decent firepower (Class 2s), repair kits, tire repair kits, and anything else they can think of. The first thing that comes to mind happens to be shoes. The team splits off to plan and get supplies (and shoes). Lang passes the Tracker Disabling Tool to Goofy before they leave as he will drive the F1 car.

Old Face, New Leg

Within the compound, they find Igor Skovacic and two unnamed guards. They take down the guards and kidnap Igor to a remote location only to find out that Igor doesn't know the location of the F1 car. What he can do, though, is get it from a computer that was in the office of the compound.

They reroute back to the compound, infiltrate it once again to acquire the information, and Igor accesses the file with the help of a Twin Palm Security Device. They extract from the guarded apartment and go to a remote location to tie up the loose end - stabbing Igor. They leave him and move to where the F1 car is: Wild Oats Drive in the Vinewood Hills.

Arriving at Wild Oats drive they spot two security guards. Tony and Lang decide to charge them stealthily and take them out while Mary throws a shoe from the roof at them as a distraction. They free the blocked driveway and frisk the corpses for radios. While relieving the downed men of their belongings, an additional security detail rolls up on the squad and almost instantaneously opens fire.

The squad kills them and flees after Goofy commandeers the F1. He drives out of the city as fast as possible to evade the cops. Goofy, arriving at Rebel Radio, tries to set up his radio and begins installing the Tracker Disabling Tool. Once he installed the chip, another wave of security rolled up with motorcycles, and everyone scrambles. Unable to directly communicate with Goofy, they instruct Mary Mushkin to keep him on the phone. The next step of the plan is to drive to Paleto and meet up.

Unfortunately, Goofy crashes on Great Ocean Highway and passes out when he is ejected from the F1 car. Thanks to Mary, they are aware of what happened, and everyone heads there immediately. Arriving on the scene, the squad guns down another security guard who was looking for them. Mary lockpicks the F1 Car while Lang and Tony try to defend her as police also start arriving due to the tracking pings.

The Heart of a Spaceship

Mary Immediately takes off as Sam Baas, Dante Wolf, and TJ Mack in Air-1 begin to try to understand the situation. In the confusion, Mary drives off as fast as she can, and the police do not follow the confusion. Realizing that a tire of the F1 popped and with no opposition in sight, Mary decides to fix the car and try to hide. Mary goes off the highway into a secluded area to avoid being seen.

Tony, who is on the phone with Mary, alerts her of Air-1 currently searching the area close to Mary’s hiding spot. Mary and Tony head to the Grapeseed Airfield and hide in the hangar, twatting a set phrase to notify Big M to contact them. Big M calls Mary and tells them to relocate the F1 Car to Razor's Hidden Garage.

Big M and Razor talk with Lang, Mary, and Tony about the cost of removing the F1 engine and forging the legal paperwork for illegal cars with no VINs. At first, Big M demanded 4000 GNE for the F1 and an additional 4000 GNE for the rest of the work that needs to be done for Lang’s car.

This raises red flags as the GNE Market is currently at its all-time high and Lang demands that they lower their outlandish price due to the current pricing of GNE. Razor and Big M take a sidebar to debate the prices and decide that the price for the F1 engine, GTR Parts, and document forging will cost Lang 4000 GNE total.

Still shocked by the price, Lang is told by Big M that the Puppet Master will pay him 1000 GNE for breaking Stenberg's legs because he got caught by the police during the mission. After questioning Razor to pry some information concerning the Puppets, Lang asks Big M to relay a message to the Puppet Master: he wants to speak to the Puppet Master directly. Big M assures him that he'll get a call. The squad decides to leave Razors Garage -- Mission Success.

The Strings That Binds Us All

At Benny’s Custom, Lang gets a phone call from an Unknown Number. He distances himself from others and accepts the call, greeting the Puppet Master. As Lang gets questioned why he wanted the call, he explains that his interest was piqued when the Puppet Master asked about the election, which is currently tied between Denzel Williams and Abdul Alrahim. The Puppet Master retorts that he needs to pull strings, and the Mayor would be a great ally to him since he is a figure of great power in the city. Lang sees a potential ally within the Puppet Master and invites him to meet the rest of Cerberus: Leslie Lingberg and Dean Watson. The Puppet Master is interested, however, he is physically impaired and not yet ready to reveal himself.

Moving on, the Puppet Master explains that Octavio’s failure is to be punished by a lesson. He wants his legs and arms to be broken by Lang. Lang agrees for more GNE, and after a lengthy back and forth, the Puppet Master agrees to pay 1250 GNE.

Tony and Lang meet Mary Mushkin and Octavio Stenberg at the Observatory. Lang and Tony proceed to beat Octavio up with Mary watching. They break his arms and legs and, for good measure, run over his unconscious body’s legs with a motorcycle. Lang tweets out a code on Twatter to notify the Puppet Master, who quickly calls Lang and informs him that the GNE will be wired once he sees proof in the hospital.

Mary apologizes to Octavio after Tony and Lang depart, explaining they had no choice, and she will call the EMS for him. She plans to say he fell off a balcony to explain his injuries. Mary drives to the hospital to wait for Octavio to arrive and gets a call from the Puppet Masker. He tells her that he will pay her 250 GNE for her work today, and he gave Lang Tony’s cut of 250 GNE - 1250 total - without Lang knowing it was meant for Tony. He is curious if Lang will give Tony part of his earnings or keep it for himself. Mary confides in him that she expects Lang to keep it, as he is rich and greedy. The Puppet Master laughs and agrees, musing that Tony and Lang are very close friends.

He wonders what strings he can pull to drive them apart…

Who is Petunia Brookshire?

30 Apr 2021

As of April 2021, Petunia Brookshire is the CEO of Rooster's Rest and one of Lang Buddha's closest business associates. Petunia begins to express discontent toward Lang, implying heavily that she feels left out of Lang's criminal activities. She feels that Lang trusts other members of Rooster's Rest more than he trusts her. Lang explains that he needs certain information to be kept from Petunia not because he trusts her less, but because he needs a partition between his business activities and his illicit activities. The conversation ends with Petunia remaining unsatisfied.

A few weeks later, Petunia will confront Lang with information that will leave him speechless.

Black Lotus Unveiled

Lang Buddha arrives at the Roosters Rest to finally get in a conversation with Petunia Brookshire, who has been trying to get ahold of Lang for some time as she needs to talk to him about some of her concerns. Petunia informs Lang about Burgershots Manager Rob using Lang's office, Stanton trying to collect due Taxes for the Roosters Business Empire and the suspension of Raymond “Ray” Romanov. Petunia wants to show something to Lang and leads him downstairs behind the hidden door to the meditation room.

Petunia lifts up a floorboard and picks up a Box of her belongings, she asks Lang to open the box, within the box are several items: Documents, photos, a piece of black cloth and a photo of a very young Petunia, her deceased Parents and Grandma Ling. Petunia reveals that her parents have been murdered when she was five years old and Grandma Ling decided to adopt her and later on, introducing her to Talon. A secret which has been kept from Lang. Petunia reveals that she has been dreaming of Lang, dressed as Shadow commanding her to “Rise”. This is when Petunia Brookshire reveals herself as the “Black Lotus”. Petunia begs Lang to reveal her purpose within Talon, Lang speechless, tries to make reason for this reveal and Petunia’s request to reveal her purpose. However, Lang feels Petunia is holding back and not speaking her mind as she wants to get more involved yet needs to be the clean face for the Roosters Rest. Lang, shocked by these developments, contacts Denzel Williams to get his opinion on the Information that was just revealed to him.

Denzel Interlude

Denzel and Lang meet up at the Vapid Guardian which was temporarily given to him by Lang's business partner Leslie Lingberg. Together, they drive somewhere secluded to talk about the shocking Information Lang just received. Lang reveals to Denzel that he and Petunia just talked in the Basement of the Roosters revealing that Grandma Ling adopted Petunia and that Petunia's family are members of Talon. Denzel inquires if Lang wants Petunia killed, which Lang refuses. Lang also informs Denzel of his recent trips to train the Nerds which consists of kidnapping and killing 24/7 delivery drivers.

Denzel warns Lang about the assassination of his Grandmother and how those assassins could now be trying to come after him incinuating that Petunia might be an assassin sent to kill Lang. Lang wants insight from Denzel as he does not know how to feel given that Petunia is part of Talon without his knowledge, Denzel tries to explain that from his perspective, Lang’s Grandmother would’ve never kept this Information from Lang.

Large-flower-divider

Speechless

Later on, Lang, Denzel and Ellie meet at Vespucci Beach and Lang informs Ellie of the aforementioned conversation. Lang mentions that he walks a fine line with keeping Petunia up to speed regarding Talon as he needs her to keep her hands clean which also involves plausible deniability. Ellie raises suspicion as Lang was unaware of Petunia's involvement in Talon, Lang brings up how he never revealed himself as Shadow to Petunia, yet, she is aware that Lang is Shadow. Denzel suggests trying to mentally torture Petunia and get her submitted to Parsons. Lang decides to meet with Ellie, Denzel and Jacob in the Basement of Roosters Rest, Lang has to, yet again, retell the tale of Petunia revealing herself as the Black Lotus. Lang reminds all the members of the oath they took which he feels was compromised regarding keeping the Black Lotus hidden. Denzel retorts about the Black Lotus being a plant by the Triads to assassinate Lang, Jacob thinks Petunia is manipulating Lang because of her positive attitude towards everything which makes Lang blind towards the reality that Petunia could, infact, be a spy. Lang remarks that the Oath of Talon is one of the crucial parts of the Organization, which makes recruiting allies difficult. The Oath of Talon is essential as he can confide with Members in peace, knowingly the Information will never leave the room. Lang reveals to the other members of his Meth Business, the Arcade Warehouse which stores all of his illicit belongings and his plans to kill Anna Swallows.

Denzel agrees as he recalls an event in the past where Miles Landon was disrespecting Jacob, Denzel explains that had Miles pulled a gun on Jacob, Denzel would’ve killed Miles. Lang questions himself as he is sure that only Denzel, Jacob and Ellie know that he is Shadow. Jacob brings up the Oath of Talon as a Test, she shall recite the Oath, if she is wrong about the Oath, she needs to die. Denzel is unsure because if Petunia can recite the Oath it goes against everything it stands for. Ellie questions if they know Petunia at all given her reveal as the Black Lotus, hinting that everything could be a fabricated lie to get closer to the Organization and Lang. While Lang still has sympathy for Petunia, Denzel reminds them that he does not care about Petunia whatsoever and recalls killing his closest brother for the Family, he hints to Lang that there might be one end to the road Petunia took. Ellie suggests to not trust Petunia and mentions the risk of her running the Roosters Rest as the CEO and knowing fully about Talon. Jacob suggests that Petunia’s fate should be decided by fate, giving her two Water Bottles, one of them poisoned and one of them clean, he remarks it as Petunia already chose her fate. Denzel suggests that him and Jacob deal with Petunia so Lang can have peace of mind.

Lang refuses and wants to wait before going down that Rabbithole. The Conversation shifts towards Petunia and her relationship to Gerard “Dewey” Hawthorne, and how much he knows, Lang doesn’t think Petunia would tell him anything, Jacob and Denzel disagree, Ellie alludes to Dewey also being able to leak information should he know something about Talon. Denzel states that should Petunia die, Dewey needs to die too. Jacob agrees and remarks that keeping the Black Lotus secret was out of malice and spite and Lang is being played. Ellie makes a stand as she tells Lang that Talon is now in the hands of Lang, not his Grandmother, if he wanted to, he could remove Petunia despite Grandmothers wishes. Jacob remarks that either Petunia didn’t take the oath and is lying or she took a different Oath which means a different Organization is at play.

Lang tells the group that he wanted Petunia involved in Talon however, he saw her involvement in running the Business as a clean face, something that they struggled with in the past. All of them agree to sleep on it and meet again tomorrow. Lang informs all of the members of his training sessions with the Guild he explains that their current targets are delivery drivers and that he leaves Talon pendants behind, he moves on to Deputy Sam Baas and possibly the Department of Justice failing to serve Justice when it comes to Baas and his regressions. As Denzel asks of Baas wrongdoings, Lang explains the scenario of Meowfurryon being kidnapped and tortured. He explains about seeing therapist Pixie Plum to get access to Parsons which could help him break out Avon, Lang mentions a few names who he has been scouting for recruitment to some degree, these names are Dean, who has been radicalized against the failing Justice System. Pixie Plum is also mentioned as her position as a therapist could help them find more prospects or like minded people for Talon.

Talon’s Return Strikes Fear[]

Talon’s Return Strikes Fear

2 May 2021

The Talon Investigation Begins

Copper JTF
After going off duty, Trooper Olivia Copper asks Solo Cadet Jeffrey Bundy to meet with her to discuss some recent events and investigations. Copper meets with Bundy at MRPD and asks him to join her in her alleyway home to discuss what she knows of the terrorist organization Talon and how the PD is going to proceed with their investigation. Copper starts the conversation by telling Bundy that she’s “very aware of what [Talon] is and what they’ve done in the past” going on to highlight a terrorist attack that blew up the FIB building and shook the city to its core, resulting in the city’s populace feeling the shockwaves of the terror attack. Copper is not sure if this is an affiliated group that’s arrived in the city, members that have been dormant in the city, or a copycat group. She’s afraid to get too far ahead of herself until they can determine just who exactly this group is in relation to the original Talon. She tells Bundy that she’ll be taking the lead on the Talon investigation and that he’ll be helping out with any matters relating to Talon, reporting directly to her. The conversation moves to discussing what these attacks could possibly mean. Bundy mentions that psychopaths and people who want to watch a victim suffer could be motivated to attack delivery drivers as they’re isolated and they could be made to suffer while the attacker watches. Copper disagrees because both reports state there were four attackers, not just one.

There was also a mark (of Talon) left at both scenes, implying there’s a message to be sent. She theorizes that it’s possible one person was leaving the mark while the other three were there to bear witness to it, as if to teach them a lesson. It doesn’t seem like an execution because there were 911 calls and marks being left with no attempt to hide the victim. Copper informs Bundy that the FIB building attack was also a group of four people, just like these attacks on delivery drivers. It wasn’t a singular person, it was a collective. Bundy asks if she thinks this could be a training exercise and she confirms it’s a possibility. Both Copper and Bundy review the two attacks and determine that they were likely to send a message. Copper takes the theory one step further and suggests that the message being sent is that Talon is back.

Large-flower-divider

Field Trip

Copper and Bundy travel to the area where the victims were placed to see if they can discover anything about the area that might suggest a motive or message that’s being sent by the attackers. Knowing what she does about Talon, Copper says that they’re all about symbols, messages, and meanings behind what they do. Everything has a purpose, and everything means something. Her belief is that the first attack was to send a message and the second attack was because they didn’t think their first message was received.

Copper once again theorizes that the message is that they’re back and here in the city again. Bundy asks how Talon is supposed to know if their message was received, to which Copper replies that’s likely why there was another attack. She’s unsure if the first victim being told “you’re the first of many” means the attack was the first of many messages to come or if the PD response is being tested and observed. Before leaving the area Bundy makes note that both the area where the victims were kidnapped from and the area where they were stabbed have perfect views of the power station, possibly symbolizing some part of Talon’s message against the powers that be. Copper and Bundy drive back to MRPD and reflect that if the message means that responses are being tested, then everyone needs to be careful responding to these types of calls and needs to bring backup. Copper tells Bundy if there’s another stabbing to drop whatever he’s doing and to immediately respond to the call on her authority. He’s also to take backup with him and have the unit remain mobile. Furthermore, if anything comes to mind he’ll let her know right away.

Meowfurryon Arc[]

The Torture of Meowfurryon[]

The Torture of Meowfurryon

The Ride-Along

Meowfurryon, also known as Clyde Eastside, only wanted to sneak into Mission Row Police Department to poop in the dog house because he was told there would be no feline units in the police. The previous day, he had successfully broken into the building and left trails of shit all over the place, so he wanted to try again. On this attempt to break in, he unintentionally ended up in the trunk of Officer Sam Baas, Officer Dante Wolf, and Officer Lauren Forcer. From the trunk, Meowfurryon overhears very sensitive details about various Major Crimes cases in progress. Hidden in the trunk, he takes notes on his phone and texts Lang Buddha that he is trapped there. He hears Baas and Wolf speak about plans to subpoena Karl Johnny "KJ" Black, a member of the Vagos. Meow learns the names of multiple strains of meth and the connection between meth and the Lost MC. He hears about investigations into Ramee and the house he recently purchased, as well as his expensive car. Baas speaks about his endgame goals of RICO-ing his gang narcotics investigations.

Large-flower-divider

The Basement

After Officer Forcer leaves the car, Wolf and Baas pull Nino Chavez over for a traffic stop. Meowfurryon recognizes Nino’s voice and calls out. Because he calls out, he is discovered in the trunk, and Wolf and Baas put him in cuffs and drive him off to Grapeseed. They bring him down to the abandoned factory basement and cuff him to a chair, pressuring him to reveal what he heard. They pour water on him, threaten him with an empty gasoline can, and punch and kick him. Baas and Wolf go in and out of the room, discussing what to do about Meowfurryon and what he knows. They take his wheelchair and phone, but Meow says his notes were “uploaded to the cloud” and he reveals that he texted Lang from the trunk.

Panicking, they contemplate killing him, even going so far as to ask Trooper Kael Soze, Trooper Jackie Snow, and Trooper Olivia Copper for their opinions, but decide against it; instead opting to blindfold him and drive him to the Sandy Shores Sheriff's Office. There, Baas comes up with the idea to 51/50 Meow (declare him insane and put him on psychiatric hold) so that the information he overheard isn’t burned and he can continue with his investigations. They bring in the lawyer Tidus Schwinghammer to represent Meow and tells him his story, including the torture, and Titus reveals Baas’ plans to 51/50 him. The lawyer confers with Baas and Dante and the officers do their best to create an alternative narrative. Meow is sentenced to 12 months for felony trespassing and is sent to prison, despite pleading not guilty and requesting a trial. Sam Baas writes a report covering up the incident, only divulging that Meowfurryon was charged with felony trespassing, and Nino Chavez was a witness.

Large-flower-divider

The Discovery

Upon finishing his prison sentence, Meowfurryon is greeted by Lando, Gloryon, and Bjorn in the prison waiting room. When he gets out, he is still missing his phone and the wheelchair. Even though the notes are in the cloud, he doesn’t remember his password and will need the original phone back to retrieve the notes. He immediately tells them about the ordeal, and Lando reaches out to the Emperors and they all meet up at the Rooster’s Rest. Meow tells them what happened and the bits of information he overheard. Meow’s story sets off a swarm of action. Phone calls, texts, trying to get the word out and figure out how they can get Baas and Dante to face consequences for their actions.

They bring Meow to the hospital so that his bruises and other injuries can be recorded for a medical report. Trooper Copper hears about the incident from Nino, so she approaches Chief of Police Bobby Smith at the Sheriff’s debate near City Hall. Because of Copper’s confessed conflict of interest with the people involved, Smith taps Officer TJ Mack and Ranger Ellis Pinzon to go up to the “torture room” in Grapeseed to collect evidence from the scene and get a statement. Meanwhile, the nerds, the emperors, newly re-elected Mayor Andi Jones, and Senior News Anchor Ron Otterman head up to the scene of the crime in Grapeseed. Trooper Copper and off-duty Trooper Snow drive up together on Snow’s motorcycle to check in with Meowfurryon. On the ride, Copper vents about the difficult position this situation puts her in. She says that her friendship with the nerds matters more than the cops being pieces of shit and means more than going down as a cop that's testifying against other cops. Lang drives alone, contemplating all that has happened. He hears a deep voice, the voice of the Stormlord, speak his name. With the officers, Meow walks through the scene of the crime, detailing exactly what he remembers happening. Nino and Lang work with Ron Otterman and make sure that the news will be on the case, offering to pay him for the work because it will be a big story. Johnny Divine, head of Major Crimes, and Officer Lance Malton, Senior Detective for the Commercial Crimes Unit of the Major Crimes Division, join them to get the full story. After hearing all that happened, and seeing that the police are seriously investigating, Nino and Lang decide now is the time to bring up what they know about Anna Swallows working as Baas’ CI.

They tell all the officers, and everyone present, that Anna came to them and told them Baas gave her dirty money to clean and they accuse Baas of targeting the Rooster’s Rest and Ranch.

Large-flower-divider

Consequences Pending

Baas is summoned to the Mission Row Police Department to be questioned about the situation. Before the questioning begins, Baas is offered an officer advocate to support him after he decides to forgo a lawyer. Baas chooses Sergeant Jack Ripley. In the room alone with Ripley, Baas tells him everything that happened from his perspective, not hiding what he did to Meow. Ripley advises Baas to be careful in the questioning and pause before answering so that Ripley can speak up if he should or should not answer. Officer Divine, Malton, and Mack enter the interrogation room with Chief of Police Bobby Smith and Ranger Pinzon standing behind the two-way mirror. Malton asks Baas to tell them what happened, and Baas, again, does not hide what he did to Meow. Malton asks who was leading the action if Dante Wolf was taking orders or initiating action, and Baas confesses that Wolf was just following his orders. Baas emphasizes how he was concerned about the leaked information getting out to the public and all the months of investigation going up in smoke. He brings up that Meow is a person pretending to be a cat who has been trespassing and shitting all over the place, and that he is not right in the head anyways. He also posits that Meow wasn’t in the trunk looking for catnip but sent there by Lang to get more information. Mack then asks if they had been talking amongst themselves about killing Meowfurryon. Baas hesitates to answer, and Malton reveals that they had spoken to Soze, who had told Baas when he called from the scene of the torture, maybe jokingly, to “kill the cat.”

Baas then says, “we had a plan but didn’t go with it,” but doesn’t know how Meowfurryon could have heard his tentative plans to kill him. After the questioning, Chief Smith tells Divine and the other officers involved with the questioning that Baas will be suspended from Major Crimes and any current investigations pending a trial. They plan to present all of the notes and evidence to the DA who will take it from there. Baas is still cleared for normal patrol but is advised to ride with a partner and to not FTO a cadet for the time being. After telling Baas this, Baas and Ripley offer that public knowledge of the suspension may taint the eventual court case in the favor of the prosecution. Divine clarifies with Chief Smith if Baas can publicly say he is “taking a leave of absence” instead of suspended from Major Crimes and Smith declines. He will have to say he is suspended from Major Crimes pending trial.

Los Santos v. Sam Baas and Dante Wolfe[]

Los Santos v. Sam Baas and Dante Wolfe

In Court

At the start of the trial it is announced that Deputy Sam Baas pleads guilty for Assault and Battery, and not guilty for Kidnapping and Obstruction of Justice and Officer Dante Wolfe pleads not guilty to accomplice to Assault and Battery, accomplice to Kidnapping and Obstruction of Justice. Chief Justice Coyote presides as judge over the trial. The first witness, Clyde “Meowfurryon" Eastside, testifies that he got into the trunk of a CVPI and overheard Baas and Wolfe talking about “things he shouldn’t have heard”. He says he was transported to a location unbeknownst to him where he was tied to a chair and interrogated by masked individuals who sounded like Baas and Wolfe. Meowfurryon also proclaims that he was denied medical attention from the injuries he sustained while in Grapeseed. He suggested that the first lawyer that was presented to him at Sandy Shores PD, Tidus Schwinghammer, was not very helpful and more so trying to help the Officers push a 51-50 on him. Next on stand is Captain Lance Malton. Malton confirms that Baas and Dante admitted to the “Interrogation Tactics” claimed by the defendant under Miranda rights in a recorded interrogation at Mission Row Police Department. Captain Johnny Divine takes the stand and testifies that Wolfe refused to intervene and was rather observant in the situation in the Grapeseed according to what Wolfe revealed in his interrogation.

Divine also confirms that Bobby Smith started the investigation after Bobby was approached by Dante and Baas, and Bobby Smith put Divine in charge of said investigation. After Deputy TJ took the stand and reaffirmed most of what Divine and Malton stated, Chief of Police Bobby Smith states that Baas and Dante came to him and admitted to him about what they did to Meowfurryon. Bobby denied that Baas and Wolfe obstructed any police officers investigating the case. Meowfurryon is called to the stand again. He repeats most of his testimony from earlier in the trial. When the defendant’s lawyer press Meowfurryon to describe the act of “waterboarding” and how it felt, Meow begins to panic. He said he swore to the Storm Lord that he would never break character, but he would break to answer that question. Meowfurryon takes off his mask and reveals himself, Clyde Eastside, and the gallery gasps. He says he is not a cat, just a roleplayer.

The water Baas poured on him still made him choke in the Grapeseed basement, and later, when Baas and Dante made him remove his mask it made him panic more. Meow keeps to the facts of what happened despite pressure from Baas and Wolfe’s lawyer to find flaws in Meow’s testimony.

Large-flower-divider

Verdict

After deliberating, Justice Coyote finds Dante guilty of felony Obstruction of Justice and Baas not guilty of felony Obstruction of Justice. Baas was found guilty of Assault and Battery and Dante was found guilty as an accomplice of Assault and Battery. Finally, Baas was found guilty of Kidnapping and Dante was guilty as an accomplice of Kidnapping. They were sentenced to a little under 30 months in prison and with punishment pending from the BCSO.

No More Lawful Good

Stray Cat

Clyde “Meowfurrion” Eastside has been wandering after the Criminal Case against the People of Los Santos vs Sam Baas, after going OOC during the Trial, Meowfurrion knew he betrayed the Stormlord’s wishes to never break character. Unknown of the consequences he dropped the Mask that is Meowfurrion and just became Clyde Eastside. Clyde Eastside went into a spree of irrational actions, trying to get employment at Burgershot, threatening to shoot up the Roosters Rest, “Kidnapping” Dawn Hearte. Lang Buddha is made aware of the issue of Clyde Eastside refusing to go back, the Guild requests for Clyde to meet with the Stormlord, hoping that he’ll be the one to mend the broken Clyde back together.

Cat Burglar

A few days pass when Lang, Ai Musori and Clyde find themselves in the Roosters Rest together, after Ai Musori refusing to yell, Clyde takes back the Mask of Meowfurrion, Archdruid of the Wild, Protector of the Grove, Defender of Everything Cute, Fuzzy and Soft. albeit, nothing felt the same with Meowfurrion after the Court Case. Meowfurrion and Lang have a heart to heart conversation about what Meowfurrion wants out of his life, Meowfurrion alludes to him wanting to be more “involved in stuff”, Lang sees this as an attempt by Meowfurrion to make his first active step into the World of Crime, which previously, went against Meowfurrions “Lawful Good” character trait.

The eager Cat tells Lang he is going to rob a Bank with Nino and Ai “Bitch” Musori. A surprised Lang instantaneously halts Meowfurrion in his tracks and suggests he should start things slow, inviting him into a Breaking and Entering before moving on to bigger jobs. Lang teaches Meowfurrion the Basics of Crime, including the whereabouts of "the Guy" the Phone App and the usage of VPN. Lang and Meowfurrion arrive at a Southside residence where they promptly break in and disable the Alarm, after rummaging the place Lang sends Meowfurrion in one last time to “double, triple check” while Meowfurrion was out of sight, Lang alarms the Police via about 10 anonymous 911 messages of their Location, what they were doing and the Vehicle they are in, so he could test Meowfurrion under duress. After driving down one Block the Police spot them and prompt them to halt, performing a felony stop. Lang evades the police but loses a spooked Meowfurrion in the process. Meowfurrion got arrested for Resisting Arrest, a charge that was carried onto a Bench Trial with the help of Nino Chavez, Tidus Schwinghammer, Ai Musori and Robert Locksley after sitting in the holding cells for 2 hours.

Unhinged

The Next Day, Lang is riding around with Denzel Williams, they are headed towards Burgershot where Lang buys Murder Meals yet again, however he isn’t very fond of how the employee with the Reindeer mask treats him so, Lang and Denzel decide that they should kill him, with the help of Burt “Gloryon” Beans.

Gloryon, being able to unlock the Backdoor enables a masked Denzel and Lang to go into the Kitchen Area where Denzel holds up the employees so they wont run into any issues, meanwhile Lang locates and shanks the guy in the Reindeer mask, all three of them leave to lay low. Time Passes and Lang decides to go to Deans World with Denzel under the assumption that some employees must have their car parked at Deans World to blow them up. However, at Deans World neither Lang nor Denzel find any cars that they can clearly pinpoint to Burgershot employee’s. Lang decides to buy some Murder Meals and heads on down to the small shop in the middle of the pier, after finding Shelly and talking to her Lang see’s Shelly’s moped and decides to torch with a molotov right in front of her. Lang and Denzel make haste towards the Bentley whilst Shelly chases them but is unable to catch up. Denzel, realizing how much Lang has loosened up during his absence, now tries to see if Lang ups himself. That's when both of them decide that they should take an Oil Tank, park it in the Burgershot Drive-In and explode it. After driving around, looking for a Truck, they finally find one that is sitting dormant, waiting to be taken. Lang decides to drive the Truck whilst Denzel drives the signature car of the Bentley Bandit.

After setting up an escape Route Lang drives the Truck into the Drive-In, jumps out, shoots the Tanker and leaves with Denzel, not sure how many casualties. Some time passes when Claire Seducer informs Lang that Meowfurrion got hurt during the Incident after trying to help someone flee the flames, she also informs him that her and Meowfurrion tried to establish an alibi for Lang as Goro Majima apparently placed Lang on the scene of the incident. Denzel, unhappy that someone ran his mouth, was eager to kill Majima, Lang decided to wait and see what happens first. Shelly also decided to keep the rivalry between themselves and not involve the Police Department.

At Wit's End[]

At Wit's End

Handle of the Spear

The Stormlord calls Meowfurryon and warns him that he has been straying off the Path of the Stormlord, and he shouldn’t forget the Oath he once took. While waiting for Denzel to show up with the next victim for Talon, Lang gets a phone call from Meowfurryon, who enquires Lang about the call he got about straying off the path of the Stormlord. Meowfurryon wants to get involved more, however, he is unwilling to harm anyone. In Lang's mind, this is a contradiction as the life of crime and life within Talon will bring violence with it naturally.

Lang suggests that Meowfurryon should talk to the Guild as they feel he is alienating himself from them. The Guild meets up yet again at the Rooster’s basement, but this time with Meowfurryon, to have an intervention about his recent reckless behavior. The majority is worried about Meowfurryon diving into the world of crime with his inability to harm people. Meowfurryon retorts that he cannot understand how his reckless behavior will be traced back to the Guild and potentially Talon. Yaeger tries to explain that the lengths the Police Department goes through to connect dots are endless. Lang agrees after Yaeger mentioned how he and the other members of the Guild have been on ride alongs with the police. Lang orders Meowfurryon to go on a ride-along for an entire day to see how the Law Enforcement operates to give him a feeling about the things they do. Denzel and Lang stay back and have a separate conversation, Denzel informs Lang that he can get his hands on a steady supply of poison and that Lang can poison anything related to food and beverages currently within the city. An excited Lang urges Denzel that he really wants to get the poison even if he has to spend thousands on it. Lang also asks Denzel if he would be able to take Meowfurryon on one of his trips, Denzel gladly agrees to take Meowfurryon with him.

Large-flower-divider

The Enforcer’s Patience

Denzel takes Meow on a drive and from the start, Meowfurryon fears for his life. When asked why he was scared, he tells Denzel that Emperor Lang hates him and would want him dead. Denzel disagrees and says that if Lang hated him, it would be a slow and painful death. They take the winding roads into the mountains and pull up beside a stream.

Denzel kills a few wild animals and a local person in front of Meowfurryon and explains to him his motto for killing both animals and people. What does he see the bodies as, even animal bodies? Loose ends. After pulling into a gas station, Denzel demands that Meow gas up his car and Meowfurryon refuses. Denzel walks away and calls Lang. He tells Lang that Meowfurryon is shocked by what he has seen so far. Denzel asks Lang for permission to rough Meow up and Lang agrees that if he is being mouthy, Denzel should beat him up. When Denzel walks back to the gas station and asks Meow to fill the tank again, Meowfurryon says Denzel is acting crazy and refuses. Denzel proceeds to rough him up and chase him around the station. Still, he refuses to do this simple task. Eventually, Denzel calms down and tries to get a more clear understanding of Meowfurryon’s relationship with the Guild and with Lang. Meow is wavering in his feelings for all of them. After Denzel points out how easy it would be to kill him, Meow eventually fills up the tank and Denzel drives him down the road to the Grapeseed basement. There, Denzel describes his method of torturing people in excruciating detail. He has Meowfurryon sit in the same chair Officer Sam Baas and Dante Wolf made him sit in weeks before. Denzel makes a quick call to Lang to ask permission to waterboard Meowfurryon with gasoline in an attempt to get him to waterboard Denzel back, and Lang says no. Tough love only. He goes back into the torture room and tells him he isn’t going to waterboard him because of Lang. Denzel takes him out of the basement and drives around with him, killing more local residents and animals, saying Meowfurryon is doing all of this with Denzel.

Standing in the lake beside Sandy Shores, Meowfurryon realizes that the Guild isn’t for him and he says he quits the Guild and runs away. Panicked, Denzel calls Lang as he chases Meowfurryon but Lang doesn’t pick up.

Large-flower-divider

Full Circle

Meowfurryon escapes Denzel and pings Deputy Baas to his location. Baas sweeps in to pick him up from Sandy Shores. Cadet Peter Rogers and an ADA are with him. Meow tells Baas that he quit the Guild and that he will probably die for what he just did. Baas calls Copper to join them. Baas asks why is it such a big deal for him to /gquit the Guild, and asks if it’s the emperors. Meowfurryon says he can’t say exactly, but that there are shadowy forces at work. Meowfurryon picks up a call while standing next to Cadet Peter Rogers. He accidentally drops the title "Emperor" for the Cadet to hear. Meanwhile, the other cops are huddled discussing what they can do a few yards away. The Cadet reports to the group what he heard on the call. Baas guesses that it was Bjorn who they saw driving away from Sandy in Gloryon’s car, that had Meowfurryon alone and scared him. Copper calls all the nerds to test where they are mentally. On her call to Gloryon, she confirms that Gloryon loaned his car to Bjorn. She asks if he has seen any of the emperors around, and Gloryon says Lang was around, but he hasn’t seen Nino or Don in a while. She questions him if he saw Meowfurryon, and Gloryon lets her know that he was selling sandwiches and water outside of MRPD. He has no idea why he was doing that instead of working at the Rooster’s. He also reveals that Meowfurryon has been kind of shut off since the incident with Baas. They ask him if he is doing fine and just shrugs them off and feels disconnected from the Guild. Copper escorts Meow back into the city, and Bayo volunteers to follow Meowfurryon undercover.

Meowfurryon says to Copper, in case he isn’t around a lot anymore, that she’s a good friend and that he appreciates her looking out for him. Copper tries to appeal to Meowfurryon as her friend and not a cop, but he stays silent. They eventually pull up to the 24/7 near the Rooster’s Rest, and Claire Seducer, Meowfurryon’s friend, is there. Meowfurryon pulls her aside and gives her $50,000 and says he’s afraid for his life. She asks if it is Lang, but he says no.

A Quick Drive Up North

Lang runs into Copper and Meowfurryon outside the Vinewood 24/7 store. Meowfurryon approaches Lang in the parking lot across the street and tells him that he didn’t betray him and that things just got too intense and he had to call it off. Meowfurryon gets in the passenger seat of Lang’s Bentley, and they drive off together to talk, Copper tailing behind. Meowfurryon said he thought that Denzel was trying to kill him. Lang then questions why Copper would follow him and Meowfurryon says she’s probably just trying to protect him. Meowfurryon insists that he didn’t implicate Lang and that he didn’t tell the cops anything other than that he thought he was going to die and the name Fingle Dan. Lang says he doesn’t get how Meowfurryon could call the cops, and specifically trust Officer Sam Baas after what had happened to him in the Grapeseed torture chamber. Meowfurryon says that Baas is a good guy, and he has forgiven him for that, which Lang has a hard time understanding. After the situation with Denzel, Meowfurryon says he realized that he couldn’t do what the Guild was asking him to do, so he quit. That’s why he called the cops instead of the nerds. Once on the Los Santos Freeway, Lang accelerates and quickly loses Copper. At top speed, Lang asks Meowfurryon what he thinks will happen now.

Meowfurryon says he thinks Lang will kill him. Lang asks Meowfurryon what would Meowfurryon say to Copper if Lang kicked him out of the car right now, and Meow replies that wouldn’t tell her anything. Lang takes a dirt exit from the highway and heads off into the woods. He asks Meowfurryon if he regrets calling the cops, and Meow says he regrets getting in the car with Denzel because he is a psycho. Lang proposes the same question about Baas and torturing Meowfurryon. Meowfurryon says he forgives Baas because people shouldn’t be judged for their past mistakes and that Baas is at heart a good person just trying to do his job. Because Meowfurryon says he sees the good in people, Lang argues why can’t he see the good in Denzel? Meowfurryon sticks to his gut feeling that Denzel is a psycho. Lang questions, again, why Meowfurryon would call the cops when he had the Guild to call, people who cared about him like Yeager, and Meowfurryon holds that he feared for his life. Lang kicks him out of the car on a covered bridge above the Zancudo River and drives off. On the drive back into the city, Lang calls Copper after hearing from Bjorne that she’s looking for him and Meowfurryon. He says he just was enjoying his fast car and talking with the nerds. They have a casual conversation, with Copper circling to find their location.

Meow’s Flight Out

After being dropped off on the bridge, Meow begins his long walk back to the city.

He connects up with Trey, who drops everything at the Rooster’s to come to pick him up. Meow also lets Copper know he is safe. In the car with Trey under the bridge near Zancudo airport, Meow says he doesn’t know if he wants a train ticket out of the city. He tells Trey that he quit the Guild because he couldn’t do something that they wanted him to do. Trey says he doesn’t blame him, he experienced something similar with Pegasus and Miles getting convicted of first-degree murder. Meow confesses that someone tried to make him kill innocents and that he couldn’t do it. Trey presses him for more information, but Meow says he swore not to tell. Trey guesses that Lang is angry that Meow quit the Guild, and Meow agrees. Copper and Baas show up to check on Meow, with Bayo trailing undercover. They see if his story matches Lang’s story from his phone call with Copper earlier. It does, and Copper is reluctant to leave Meow alone with Trey. But, Trey convinces Copper that he will not harm Meow, and she leaves them. Meow decides that he wants Trey to take him to the airport to take a flight out, with no plans as to when or if he’ll come back.

Once there, Trey takes a picture of Meow getting into a plane and texts it to Copper as proof that he left the city.

The Death of Meowfurryon[]

The Death of Meowfurryon

Manhunt

Clyde “Meowfurryon” Eastside sets up a meeting Samir Baasem, As he waits he meets a Big Cat Trainer from Babalu’s Pet Shop, They talk until Baasem arrives, Baasem asks her to leave due to the magnitude and severity of their Conversation, Meow exchanges Numbers with her and she leaves. Whilst their conversation gets sidetracked, the Trainer sends Meowfurryon a message telling him about a white Vehicle being Parked under the Pier, Baseem identified the Car as the Bentley Continental SS driven by Lang Buddha.

Baasem is spooked and tries to extract himself and Meowfurryon, and tells him to Jump into the Water and swim as fast as he could. Meanwhile Tony Corleone arrived at the End of the Pier and saw both of them Swim away. Tony tells Lang over the Phone that they are swimming away, Lang tells him to swim after them as he got information by Gea Stagdancer that one of the two individuals is Meowfurryon. Due to missing information Tony starts swimming after Baasem, who he later loses somewhere near the Islands not too far from Shore.

Stagdancer surveys the Paleto Beach area to help catch Meowfurryon while Lang is on his way. Stagdancer, Lang and Tony split up to spread their search however, their efforts are futile as they lose Meowfurryons trail.

Meowfurryon “changes” his appearance and heads down to the Kortz Center where he suddenly gets a Call from Tony Corleone who has a heart to heart with Meowfurryon about his current Situation and where it leads. Meanwhile Lang and Tony are scouring the City, looking for Meowfurryon, after some time Tony and Meowfurryon finish their Conversation and Meowfurryon calls Lang and reveals his Location, the Kortz Center. Lang, who is already close, drives on a nearby hill offroad to survey the Location first, making sure not to run into a Police Sting Operation.

After a few Minutes Lang and Tony decide to head into the Kortz Center Plaza, looking for Meowfurryon, they spot him on a Catwalk above the Main Entrance. Lang inquires if he is wearing a wire or if Baasem or Copper knew of his Location, which Meowfurryon denies. Both start arguing as Lang doesn’t understand why he would turn his back to the Guild and go to the Police, and to top it off, to Baasem of all people. Meowfurryon explained to Lang that Denzel pushed him onto this Path, realizing that he is a Psychopath that will burn everyone and everything to the Ground to reach his Goal, hence Meow’s bid to run for Mayor. Meowfurryon also explains how he is now in the Witness Protection, which raises all kinds of Red Flags for Lang, he orders Tony to search Meowfurryons pockets and get him to the Car. Lang, Meowfurryon and Tony are now headed towards the Roosters Rest. As they arrive Stagdancer and Trey Romano are in the Kitchen talking to each other when they pass by the Back Entrance heading towards the hidden Basement, Lang tells Tony that Trey should watch the front door and tells Stag to assemble the Guild in the Basement.

The End

Lang zipties Meowfurryon in the Basement and leads him down to the Sanctum of the Basement. Meowfurryon is on his Knees with the Guild around him, Lang begins to press him for Information in front of the Guild to reveal his actions behind the Guild's back.

Meowfurryon explains how he set up a welfare check with the Police sending them a message whenever he wakes up and a message whenever he goes to Bed, so that they know he is safe. The Guild expresses their frustration with Meowfurryon as he rather confided with Samir Baasem instead of the Guild, he explained that he has already forgiven Baasem and that in his eyes he is a good Person. A frustrated Yeager explains the lengths they went to to help Meowfurryon, even so far as getting Contempt of Court for Assaulting Dante Wolfe during the Court Case when they Masked up as Rats to scare Meowfurryon while he was on the Stand, crying. Meowfurryon explains that it was Denzel who pushed him so far that he saw his last resort within Baasem and the Police.

Lang inquires who he has met at the Paleto Pier and Meowfurryon confirms it was Deputy Baasem, When Lang questioned him why he was meeting with Baasem, He explained that him and Baasem were working together on a meeting where he would be Protected as he feared for his Life. Gloryon asks him who the person was that met up with him and informs Gloryon on Meowfurryons flight out of the City. He said nobody was sent to pass along Information about his whereabouts and the only person in the City to know was Trey Romano. Trey’s Involvement is another potential Loose End which upsets Lang as Meowfurryon reveals that Trey knows that Denzel wanted to kill Meowfurryon.

The Guild leaves Meowfurryon alone as they head upstairs to have a Sidebar, Lang wants to know the Guilds current stance on Meowfurryons fate, as he clearly betrayed the Oath. Tony implies that Meowfurryon is being manipulated by Baasem and questions whether or not they can get through to him if he is being manipulated. The Guild agrees that Meowfurryon wasn’t ready for whatever Denzel tried to do, however it doesn't excuse his actions in the slightest.

After debating, Stag recalls him mentioning a Shadowy Figure manipulating the guild and the fact that he used the word “Emperor” on the phone whilst in Police Presence.

Lang extends a Vote to the Guild for Meowfurryons Death.

Yeager was unsure, questioning whether or not there is a possibility that Meowfurryon walks free, Tony retorts that there is always a chance he starts talking to the Cops again. Yeager questions Lang if he would kill Donnie if it came down to it, which Lang responds with a yes, if Donnie would’ve betrayed the organization in the same way Meowfurryon did it, he’d share the same fate. Lang also emphasizes that he will kill Petunia for the things she said, even if it hurts him. Yeager is reluctant and upset, yet accepts the fate that will meet Meowfurryon and heads down towards the Sanctum, Stag accompanies him by the request of Lang to make sure everything is alright.

Lang puts on his Armor and heads towards the Sanctum, On his way he meets The Guild. The Guild kneels before the Stormlord. He explains that this is their Induction into the Organization, and that they know what to do next.

All of them head to the Sanctum for Meowfurryons Judgement. The Stormlord explains that Meowfurryon has betrayed his Guild, Intentional or not and that continuing his life will be to go against Talon’s Cause.
