Since both Gold and Mendoza started training as cadets concurrently, they developed a rivalry where they attempt compete and one-up each other. But despite their rivalry, they seem to get along together and always banter with each other when they find the opportunity to do so.
Since becoming a full Deputy, Mendoza and Spartan have patrolled together multiple times and always seem to have a lot of fun. Their relationship consists of joking around and making fun of one another over small things like potential love interests or their driving skills, but the two can easily hype each other up when the moment calls for it.
As an FTO, Mack has always been a teacher to Mendoza. He perceived her as one of the best cadets he has trained due to her persistent and quick-witted attitude. He also refers to her as his "work wife" due to their great dynamic and camaraderie when being assigned together.
Nova and Mendoza always had good relationship since she was a deputy, when they first met they were kidnapped by jason and had to survive. Ever since then they have always gone on drug calls with each other and consider each other best friends. Mendoza also said that if nova dies she will never go on duty.
Even though Martell only has trained Mendoza once as an FTO, Mendoza still sees her as a close friend due their great chemistry and lively interactions with each other when they had previously worked together.
Sharp and Mendoza have a flirtatious friendship. The two as of recently have be going on Bicycle Patrol together for fun when board as a way to have fun and still be productive on at work.
Tinker and Mendoza were always good friends they get along together. They also dated for about 5 minutes as Mendoza made a comment to a janitor which he found weird and she used tinker as a scapegoat by saying she was referring to him. After that happened they immediately broke up but tinker still can't move on.
Mendoza has known Snow from her cadet days, he was one of the first person to compliment her on her coms as days went by one her cadet phase snow frequently complemented her. She always wanted to get FTOed by Snow but, unfortunately she couldn't have a FTO session with him when she was a cadet but after she became a full deputy they often rode together. When she became a trooper he welcomed her with open arms and joy. He also taught her how to fly.
Frankie and Mendoza interacted multiple times when she patrolled through the bario. One time in a bank robbery Mendoza offered to go on a date with Frankie if he managed to lose snow without using bikes which he did. He also proposed to her for marriage on top of a billboard when she was chasing after him on foot. She initially said yes but immediately said someday he also said that he would quit the life of crime if she married him but like Mendoza, he also said "someday". After getting caught they went to the Barrio court where she said that he wasn't man enough and proposed to her with a knife, at the end of the court she said that she would marry him if he did it right. She finally confirmed the answer to his proposal was a "yes" when she met up with Vagos in a bank. She said that it was undecisive at first but in the end, she accepted the marriage proposal. She also said she wanted to keep her last name after the marriage
After being engaged Mendoza constantly visits Bario to talk with him, they also text and call each other often.They also refer to each other as "sunshine" and "moonlight".
