Seaside

The Seaside family is an organized criminal syndicate based in Del Perro Beach. Its members include individuals across both the criminal and civilian spectrum, with several prominent public figures, former high-ranking gang members, and wanted terrorists. The group is active in both legal businesses and high-level crime such as bank robbing and weapons trafficking. Though fairly new, the Seaside family prides themselves in the respectability afforded to them due to their network of connections and the wealth of experience under their collective umbrella.

Seaside consider themselves as a family rather than a gang. However, the legal authorities have identified the group as such due to patterns of members, associates, and their social media activities.

Formation of Seaside

Seaside was formed by ex-Vagos members who chose to leave after the former Vice-el Jefe, Benji Ramos, grew disillusioned with the leadership of Speedy and felt disrespected by the other members of the gang.

The ex members of the Vagos that left with Benji are: Karl Johnny Black (KJ), Reggie Might, Pepe Ramos, Chico Guzman. Followed by Joaquin Jimenes (JJ) and Javier Diaz a few days later. Ash Ketchup, who was heavily associated with the Vagos through her relationship with Benji and subsequently became close with the rest of the gang, joined those who left in their pursuit of a new life out of the southside. They would go on to become the founding members, with Antonio Chorizo (an ex Vago hangaround) joining them shortly after they left the Vagos.Than there's Bunny, Ash's pet bonnie who was the last to be blooded out of the Vagos and for being a rat (Vago Spy). Later on, they formally added Yair Lamas because he kept good business relations with some of them for a long time, was good friends with some of them, and showed to be levelheaded and reliable. Ash got Benji, a Huskies named Tobias, that was blooded in when Benji first got him.

Creation of the Name

For the first couple of weeks after the members left the Vagos, they didn't have a name for themselves. They stuck together as a family while also figuring out what they wanted to do individually. They jokingly tossed around some names like their old 'EASTSIDE' mantra such as “Beachside” and "Seaside" as a nod to their meetups outside Ash and Benji’s beach house as members were blooded out of the Vagos and figuring out future plans. While the name "Seaside" started as a meme within the group, more and more people around them, including the members themselves, starting referring to the family as Seaside. Eventually, they officially named themselves Seaside.

Important Events

VAR
VAR After the discovery of VAR headsets by Ash through Yuno Sykk, Benji and other members of Seaside wanted to try to find and complete the VAR heist. KJ, through Mari Mckay , found out that the Yacht Heist was the place to get the VAR headsets. KJ and his friend Max Wazowski did the Yacht Heist together, with Max completing the heist solo while KJ was "having a party" to distract cops. KJ and Max then met with Benji and Max gave the VAR headsets to Benji for Seaside's use. After informing Yuno that they had the headsets, Yuno showed Benji and Ash the location of the VAR Heist. When the VAR heist was first known to Seaside, only a few members knew about it. Once all the information was collected and the headsets were obtained, the rest of Seaside was informed about the heist.

After they successfully completed the VAR heist , Seaside finally had both parts of the casino access codes. The next step is to hit the lower vault.

Lower Vault
Lower Vault At Last Early Stages While in the Vagos, Benji and others wanted to do the lower vault and sought information on how to achieve this from Raymond Romanov. However, right before they attempted to hit the Lower Vault, it was placed under construction for a long time and they gave up on trying. KJ with his street team were robbing many banks and had a goal of hitting the Lower Vault. Unfortunately, every time they tried, someone had already hit it or the upper vault. So KJ and his street team slowed down as KJ shifted focus to racing to get the GNE to buy a Tuner car. The Day Finally Arrived On January 29th 2022, Benji, JJ, Chico, Javi and Bodhi Mack, (with Ash on radio near the bike swap to protect them from scuffing), at last hit the Lower Vault. Beforehand, Benji, Chico, Javi, and JJ strategized their getaway plan. Bodhi woke up and joined them to strategize and prep for the vault. Their plan involved grapple guns, motorcycles, and multiple drop offs. They successfully hit the vault, and they all piled into the car to begin the getaway. The members were dropped off at different locations. Many vehicle swaps happened to save the members, especially the ones carrying the loot, and a long exhilarating chase ensued from all POVs. Eventually all of the loot was safely stored during different moments in the chase. Everyone was safe except for Javi, who still had a lot of cops chasing him. He was ready to take the fall so everyone would be safe, but Benji never leaves a teammate behind, so he went and tried to save Javi. Once JJ heard that Benji was going to help, he also joined in on the rescue mission. All 3 of them went to jail. As part of the loot, Seaside at last had the case with the Casino blueprints. After opening the briefcase, this makes Seaside the 5th group with the Casino Blueprints.

Casino Heist
Casino Heist Became the 3rd Crew to successfully hit the Casino Vault on 08/04/2022. Members of the successful hit were Benji, Bodhi, JJ, Chico, Javi and KJ. Ivan was on the team but was switched out later on when KJ wanted in on the heist, he still got a cut in the end.

Expanding the Family

In the beginning, Seaside was not interested in adding more members to the core family due to the unique shared experience they had forming Seaside.

After noticing how many people were hanging around with Seaside, doing jobs and slowly feeling like the family, Benji discussed with KJ, Ash, and Chico about creating subgroups like Chang Gang. With groups called Seaside A and Seaside Sharks, among others (This style is similar to Cleanbois/Nerds, and CG/CG-A, etc).

Benji asked them who they would like to invite as Extended Family. As they began to invite people in, they adjusted the initial plans to fully bring on new members and created a path for associates to become full members. Because in the beginning there wasn't any major distinction between new members "Extended Family" and the main group "Core Family". Since at the time the only distinction was voting power, something they originally didn't want them to have at all, but now allows.

Seaside started increasing recruiting efforts in March, 2022. As of the second meeting, they are going to have new members become associates first, then have the possibility of officially joining Seaside. Dropping the "Extended Family" title all together and those who were under the former title were folded into the core team.

The role of associates continues to be reassessed and has changed several times. As before they have just considered associates to be trusted members of the Seaside family who simply need more time to get to know all members of the family and/or establish themselves further before a unanimous vote to blood them in that will make them a full voting member. But they have since changed the process to simply have a unanimous vote, than blood them in to become an associate, then they have to earn a chain that will make them full members.

Notable Meetings About New Members
Notable Meetings: Discussing New Members The First Discussing (February 6, 2022) A meeting with all the members (minus Pepe and Michael), with JJ dipping out half through, occurred on 6th February. They discussed that the Associates would have an equal voice, but the final decisions would come down to the core family. Associates are people who have been unanimously voted on by the core family to officially join Seaside's subgroup. Those who weren't would be kept in mind until another vote occurred. Members who have been unanimously voted to be extended an invitation: Bodhi Mack, Skud Oftr, Larry Knox, Mari Mckay, and Sherry Paie. Now that the family agreed, they began extending an invitation to these individuals, in some form, in the near future. The family also discussed other people that they were interested in bringing into the subgroup. They will continue watching these individuals to see if they develop into something Seaside is interested in. These potential members who were being looked at for the future are: Alex Söderberg (Lil Cap), Orlando Jones (OJ), Ivan Samarsky, Thom Yung, Molly Rollin, Rexarius Bracchimus (Rex), Crackhead Craig, Timmy Yougman (Big T), Brandon Valentino, Links Missin, Deshawn King† and Kenny. Out of the 5 people that were unanimously voted on at the original meeting, 2 have since joined: Skud and Bodhi. 2 have joined other groups instead: Larry (GG) and Mari (HOA). Sherry remains close with the Seaside family, but does not appear to be pursued as a potential member at this time. The Second Discussing During the second meeting to extend the family, changes were made to the initial structure with those who were previously invited and accepted becoming full Seaside members. They nominated and agreed to Ivan, OJ, and Timmy as associates. All three of these people have been nominated before. They had discussed other people they would like to look into in the future. Some of which have already been nominated before like Rex and Links. Newer names that were brought up are Lance Silva (who all but Benji voted yes to) and Terry Linkston, former JustUs members, Cora Star, Taylor Briggs, Alexei Pavlovich, Hanh Do and Ryan Parker. They even thought about Flop Dugong even though he's law enforcement. Out of the 3 people that were unanimously voted in, they were successfully able to recruit all three of them as associates. The Third Discussing During this meeting to extend the family with the intention of recruiting people that will benefit the family. They largely re-discussed people that they where still considering. They decided on only Taylor and Terry being invited as associates at this time , to whitch they were both successfully recruited. Other name brought up that were previously nominated are Rex, Cora, Hanh and Links Newer names that were brought up are Raul Rodriguez, Shane Powers (ShaneO) and Luke Atar The Fourth Discussing During this meeting to extend the family Ash has decided to change how they vote, by having the group vote for the potentials over on discord. The five people that are being voted on are Raul, Cora, ShaneO, Luke and a newly nominated Julian Santorno. Benji has stated the they should give a pass to Code Miko and it’s worth noting that now as of 4/30/22 that both Michael and Nick Simone are officially Seaside members. Of these individuals, Cora and Julian were voted to become members. People that got nominated again but didn’t make the cut just yet Hanh and Rex and new name to look out for Serge Cross and Cassandra Silverton (Cas). In the end only Cora and Julian were the only ones unanimously voted in and successfully recruited. The Fourth Discussing During this meeting after their war with R.U.S.T, they decided to vote for Hanh and Rex, and they put a hold on ShaneO. While bringing up newer names like Lucas Spade, Zaceed Skengerton, and Arthur Lionheart and older names like Luke.

History of Potentials
History of Potentials Larry, after compiling a pros and cons list of his group options, decided to join Gulag Gang. Seaside supported Larry in this decision, noting that there would always be a place and family for him with Seaside. However, thanks to Michael drama, his relationship with Seaside greatly diminished and the open invitation likely revoked. Bodhi agreed to join and was originally supposed to be blooded in 27/02/22 but did the Yacht when they were going to kidnap him and got caught. On 21/03/2022 Bodhi was properly blooded in after everybody roasted him. Skud was kidnapped by Chico and Antonio and interrogated by Reggie, as a test before asking him to join. After passing the test he was invited to Seaside and then accidentally ocean dumped with a blindfold on. Unfortunately he was shot by Benji during interrogation and went down upon impact. They later ask EMS to help find him. He is fine now, and was supposed to be the first official Seaside associate, but instead made a core member. While not a highly kept secret, his membership is to be kept discreet as part of his role in Seaside. (27/02/22) Craig was originally a person to keep in mind for the future. However, it became clear that despite Craig’s initial desire to change his views and approaches to situations in the city, as well as the close friendship with many Seaside members they wished to keep, he would not be a good fit to join as a full member. Craig has also stated on occasion that he is no longer interested in joining, and is looking into joining other groups that align more with his goals/activities. He has since been invited to and joined NBC. Mari due to unfortunate timing and Benji's terrible memory, Mari is considered by many in Seaside as “the one that got away.” On 16/3/22 Mari was invited to HOB with it become official the next day. Mari told Ash about this and then asked Benji if she had been spoken to about joining Seaside. (she hadn't). Benji, Ash, KJ, and Chico then quickly met with Mari to extend an open invitation to Seaside if the HOA/B offer doesn't work out.HOB Thom was initially being watched as a potential new member and participated in various jobs/activities with members of Seaside. Over time feelings about pursuing Thom as a potential member changed and he also began pursuing HOA. He has since been invited to join HOB. If asked, Sherry is believed to most likely to decline the offer, because she previously stated she doesn't want to be associated with any crime group. She is considered by Ash to be family with or without her having an official title. Ivan After initial consideration for joining, Ivan lost their trust a bit when he fell victim to Speedy's manipulation and tried to hand over JJ to him after a bank job gone wrong. After discussions and resolving the situation his potential membership was revisited and Seaside agreed to him joining as an associate. This would allow him time to gain the trust of all family members before being considered to join as a full member. Some time after the second meeting JJ asked Ivan if he would be a Seaside associated to which he said yes. Benji has stated once he gains the trust of every is Seaside he well become a full member. Molly While initially being considered for Seaside, several incidents caused members of the family to lose trust in Molly. After attempting to resolve these issues they decided to no longer pursue Molly as a potential member. Rex has been approached by Javi about the potential of joining Seaside and instructed to spend more time with members of the family should he be interested. After helping Seaside in the 2 wars with R.U.S.T and Mandem, Rex was officially blooded in alongside Hanh on 10/06/22. Timmy was asked by Ash to join as an associate and he happily replied yes. Benji gave him the task of not starting a war with GSF. Taylor was approached by Benji and a few other members that they were interested in him joining the group and asked him to start spending more time and doing heists with Seaside. He has since been voted on to become an associate and an official invitation is to come. Taylor was officially made SSA during a Seaside beach day, where he had to get shark blood to become a member April 17th 2022. OJ was unanimously voted on to become an associate and approached by Javi to join. OJ said yes and joining the group was what he was working towards. Benj on 04/03/22 told Michael (while streaming) that he is a part of Seaside because he had already told multiple people that he was one. They blooded in Reggie's pet chicken Whippy, as technically the third pet Seaside member Terry is aware that there could be a future for him in Seaside. During the most recent discussions he was voted to become an official associate and an invitation is to come. Terry was officially made SSA during a Seaside beach day, where he had to get shark blood to become a member April 17th 2022. Lil Cap is currently a hang around for BBMC. Links Has unintentionally ruined his chances of getting it Seaside at least in the eyes of Ash, Benji and Chico. After getting into trouble by GSF when he was riding his bike in their territory on their roofs and for having a green jacket. But what ultimately got him was the fact that he was venting to a GSF member and that same member taking it as a threat from a Seaside member. Bob made him self a member of Seaside and Benji and the rest of the group are fine with it. 26/04/22 Nick Was invited to Seaside randomly one day by Benji and accepted the position on 28/04/22 Flop is a Deputy for PBSO and was the lead investigator for the death of Chino Gonzales and the the break up of the Vagos after Benji and the others left. During this investigation he got very close to KJ, Reggie and Ash. During the Jasper Saxon Events, Flop became the means of communication between the SCU and Reggie and Ash. These close relationships have cemented Flop as a part of the family to the extent that they let him wear the flag when he's off duty, All of Seaside trust Flop and would welcome him into the family if he chose to quit PD. Cora hung around with Bodhi and JJ after their racing family broke apart, After Seaside was formed Cora started hanging around with more members and it became noticeable that she would drop everything to shoot and drive for the members. Cora was blooded in on 11/05/22 Julian is a old face around Los Santos and had moved away for a long time, and is the son of Larry After hanging with multiple gangs, including CG and GG, Julian told Seaside his loyalties lie with them and his heart lies with Seaside. on 12/05/22 Julian was blooded in as a Seaside Associate When Hanh Do used to be a Azteca Prospect ne would always help Ash gather materials for her. When she was taken by Jasper, Hanh continued to buy materials for Ash. After she was found Hanh helped Reggie look after Ash while she was in the ICU. During this time he unknowingly distanced himself from the Aztecas and was kicked out by Gabriel. After this he lost confidence in himself but Seaside helped him realize his worth, with Nick vouching for him after Nick asked him to help with a problem that could lead to the 9s and Hanh just being ride or die. He was officially blooded in alongside Rex on 10/06/22 Zaceed was brought in by Julian. At first he was not closed with all the members, he got to hang out and prove his loyalty to the family. Cora, Timmy, Bodhi and JJ where the one who said No, but at the past of the time, with the R.U.S.T and MDM war he proves he will have the back of all the family. For his initiation he had to fight a shark, after several attempts Zaceed achieved his goal. His victory made him got his new name "Sharkeed". He was officially blooded in 15/06/22.

Notable Rules
- Seaside is a Crime Family or Mafia, and kind of a Cartel
- New associates have to be voted in unanimously by the main group.
- Major decisions, like going to war, require a majority vote.
- They need to be at a 7 out of 10 on the aggression scale.
- They are to wait two weeks to get to know possibly new associates.
- In recruiting gender doesn’t matter as long as they’re good people (if questioned why there’s so many guy in the group)
- If two members that are in a relationship break up, it will not affect the group if they are important and will be dealt with as a private matter between those members
  - If it ends in bad terms they are to keep the drama of their break up to themselves.
- Members of any status have to put in 10k to the family fund every monday.

Received a gang tag in the MDW after following the war with Just Us and Ash Ketchup's kidnapping by Jasper, after going after the Smileys, and being very vocal about it on twatter.
Those who were offered to join if their current group doesn't pan out.
- Benji has told Carlos Loco (his estranged son), Tito Conchas, and Renato "Baby Loco" Ortiz that if they ever leave the Vagos that they can join Seaside.
- Those who have an open invitation to join Seaside are: Mari Mckay and Larry Knox (sort of, kind of debatable)
- On 23/4/22 Benji told Flop Dugong, whose relationship with Seaside began during his time as a cadet investigating their bloodouts and the murder of Chino Gonzalez, that if he ever leaves or is fired from PD he can come 'home'. Making it a open invite to Flop to join Seaside.
Seaside so far, was responsible for at least one death.
