Sandy Shores is a small desert town located in the middle of the Grand Senora Desert in Blaine County, San Andreas.

Overview[]

Sandy Shores, nestled between Senora National Park and the southern shores of the Alamo Sea with a backdrop of Mount Chiliad, boasts a rugged charm. Its dry, arid climate provides a habitat for numerous coyotes, though sadly many fall victim to road accidents. The town's connectivity is maintained by an airfield to its south.

Once a bustling holiday retreat, Sandy Shores has since fallen into disrepair, characterized by abandoned motels, drained pools, and dilapidated trailers, remnants of its former glory. The town's decline is attributed to environmental degradation, exacerbated by the toxic pollution of the Alamo Sea from illegal waste disposal. Despite its remote location, Sandy Shores retains a distinct identity, with the eastern side populated by trailers and small residences, while the western side is marked by abandoned buildings along Marina Drive.

East Joshua Road delineates the town's southern boundary, extending into the Senora National Park, with notable features including the Beam Me Up art installation and a trailer park nestled on the outskirts. Sandy Shores Airfield, situated within the Grand Senora Desert, anchors the western frontier. Despite its neglected state, Sandy Shores is not devoid of commerce, hosting major chain businesses like Ammu-Nation and 24/7. There is also a radio tower in the center of the town.
