The San Andreas State Police, along with the Los Santos Police Department and the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, make up the executive branch of Los Santos; together they ensure that the law is upheld and enforced.
Chain of Command
Kael Soze and Tony Andrews are the chief(s) and are High Command of the SASP.
All other Troopers are members of Command and hold the rank of Sergeant. SASP Troopers are equal in rank and responsibility to the Sergeants within the LSPD and BCSO.

State Police Joint Task Force (SPJTF)
- The SASP were the official leaders of the SPJTF. The Troopers assigned tasks (usually one task) to selected officers and deputies in the LSPD and the BCSO. They used to lead the SPJTF, until it was dissolved and replaced with the new Joint Task Force.
- There were four detectives within the SASP that were assigned to the SPJTF: Trooper(s) Kael Soze, Tony Andrews, Jackie Snow, and Olivia Copper.
