The San Andreas Medical Authority (SAMA) is the organization responsible for managing and overseeing hospitals within the State of San Andreas. It is led by Director Peri Wattson who took office since January 20, 2025.
General Description[]
The San Andreas Medical Authority providing oversight for the medical services, such as Los Santos Medical Group. They oversee the highest quality, uphold highest standards of medical ethics, integrity and professionalism that oversee the well-being and safety of the people in the state. The SAMA also crafts legislation establishing healthcare standards.
Structure[]
According to The Constitution of San Andreas, the San Andreas Medical Authority (SAMA) consists solely of currently active medical professionals (doctors or mental health professionals currently employed by the Los Santos Medical Group or currently employed members of the Emergency Medical Services). The authority guides legislation regarding health and its procedures across the state of San Andreas and is responsible for representing all medical factions fairly.
One currently active medical professional is publicly elected as the San Andreas Medical Authority Director to oversee the operations of the medical authority, representing the interests of all medial factions and working alongside their respective High Command. The first San Andreas Medical Authority Director was Philippa Canter, who oversaw both the EMS and the Doctors, and had the authority to push health legislation for medical professionals.
