General Description[]
Salem Yellow is a Cadet for the Vinewood Police Department, Badge #570.
He is also the Owner and Co-Founder of Abdul's Taxi Service, and is a Bar Certified Attorney.
Story[]
Salem was born in Kuwait and lived most of his childhood there, and his family moved to the U.S. when he was 20 years old. He lived in a tough environment in Blaine County, San Andreas in the Paleto Bay area, where he had to work in a garage as soon as he moved in, he didn't have the time nor money to study in a college.
His parents paid everything they could to get him into aviation school back in Kuwait, unfortunately Salem could not get his E.A.S.A. license which meant his diploma did not matter much. At that point Salem had 2 options, he either works in the airline as a mechanic making minimum wage or save up to go to a respectful college and follow his passion, automotive engineering, which he did at the age of 22.
He worked in the U.S. for several years where he was saving enough money to go to college again, but this time it took him a while because he owned a shitbox that kept breaking every month or so. His car was so hard to maintain yet he loved it so much that he never left the oil unchanged and never left a part broken as it is. It meant that saving money for his college was harder than owning a toyota camry, but he kept his beloved car and never gave up on it.
After saving enough money for college, he quit his job and went on his college adventure. After a long struggle with his college professors, and a hard hard time with his studies, he failed in a lot of classes yet he would always stand back up and continue his journey. God knows it was a long tiring journey, where he had to work a minimum wage job in McDonalds just to cover his expenses.
FINALLY he got his diploma after three years of studying, which he was supposed to get in two years, and aimed to get his Bachelor's degree but failed terribly because it was extremely complicated for him. He wasn't used to some subjects like physics, aerodynamics and automotive electronics on a higher level than he used to. At that point he only had his diploma and his work experience. That's where he decided to move to Los Santos.
As soon as Salem arrived at Los Santos he met a long lost friend, Abdul Al Rahim, Abdul helped Salem to get a job at Harmony Repairs Garage by convincing Jordan Walker to put him on a two week probation and see how he does. Salem was hired by Jordan Walker as a full-time mechanic after the probation period after he spoke to the other managers and inquired about his performance. After 2 weeks of working as a full-time mechanic, and with the help of his friend Con Philanthropoulos he got hired at PDM as a part-time salesman, and give priority to his original job.
