He was previously a Corrections Sergeant for the Department of Corrections, Badge #727.

Background information[]

Ryan Kolinsky was born in a small farming town in the western United States. He grew up with his younger brother James. His father was the town's Game Warden, and his mother was a doctor at the local hospital.

Ryan had a relatively normal life through early childhood. Things changed for Ryan when he went on a summer camp trip with his brother. He was thirteen at the time. Upon coming back from summer camp, he learned that his father met a grisly fate during one of his usual patrols. Never quite knowing what ended his father's life. It was deemed a hunting accident. But it never quite seemed right with Ryan. With his father's passing, Ryan was impacted heavily, having to look after his younger brother. Ryan took up taking care of the house and working around town to help his mother as much as he could. His mother descended into a depressing spiral that only grew worse with time.

When Ryan turned nineteen, he decided to want to pursue a career in law enforcement. With goals to follow in his father's footsteps. Ryan joined a law enforcement community college in a neighboring city. During this time his mother passed away. Leaving the house empty as his brother was out living his own life. Ryan and James came back home one last time to move what was left of their belongings and anything that belonged to their mother and father. With having to sell the house. With not much left and with finishing his studies.

Ryan set out to make a new life and discover new things in the State of San Andreas.

Ryan applied to the Department of Corrections with several goals in mind. He wanted to be able to help those that mattered to him and give those a possibility to change their ways for the better. Early on in his career with the DOC, he sought out being medically certified as early as possible. To be able to save the lives of both Correction Officers and inmates. He wishes to continue his career with the intent to look after his fellow Correction Officers and Lifers.

After his career with the DOC reached its peak. With most of his goals in DOC being achieved. Ryan sought to become a law enforcement officer with hopes of being a Park Ranger. He is avid about becoming motor certified and K-9 certified within the department. He is keen to do his duties as a law enforcement officer, Keeping animals, civilians, and his fellow officers safe.
