Roger Dot, a seasoned resident of Los Santos, has undergone significant transformations since his return from Canada. Now known as a prominent figure in the city, Roger has become a multi-faceted individual with a diverse array of activities.
With an impressive list of achievements, Roger has successfully transitioned from a criminal alias to the manager of Burger Shot, a popular establishment in Los Santos. Beyond the confines of the fast-food joint, he has taken on a mentorship role, teaching over a hundred individuals the ropes of low-level crime. Serving as a tour guide for newcomers, Roger shares his extensive knowledge to help them navigate the complexities of the city.
While many may remember Roger for his notorious house-robbing endeavors, he has consciously steered clear of high-level crime, influenced by his early experiences with Chang Gang. Instead, Roger focuses on supporting the dreams and goals of others, creating a positive and inclusive environment in Los Santos. His commitment to fostering a sense of community is evident in his involvement with various individuals and groups.
Despite the challenges and adventures he faces, Roger Dot continues to prioritize fun in his endeavors. His journey in Los Santos has evolved into a multifaceted tapestry, blending his criminal past with managerial responsibilities and a passion for guiding others on their own paths in the city.
Arrival to Los Santos[]
Roger Dot recently came back to Los Santos after spending time in Canada. He learned that the area that he grew up in is very much different from what he remembers. Upon arriving back a lot of people started to refer to him as "Gary" - He was not able to go many places without being called Gary so he decided to use 'Gary' as his criminal name. With the help of Burger Shot employee's he was able to find out Gary's real name, old business information and more. All he had to do was make his voice just a tad bit raspier and he could be just like him.
However, Roger took it upon himself to keep telling everyone no matter how many times he meets them that his name is Roger. Roger intentionally gaslights people into thinking that he gets upset that people call him 'Gary' but he really doesn't care. Roger Dot continued to prove himself to be Roger - Meeting various different people but it wasn't until the day he was caught in Little Seoul selling drugs that his life had started to change forever.
Roger Dot met an individual that tried to sell him drugs at Alta Apartments, he learned that you could flip the drugs for cash. He decided to invest his leftover bank savings by meeting the individuals connection. Unknowingly to Roger he would be scammed by being given low-grade quality drugs. He decided to go eat something but everything was closed except for Maldinis. Roger grabbed pizza from Maldinis and headed across the street to a store that was called "Swole Creations"
Unknowingly, Roger was starting to sell these low-quality drugs (methamphetamine) which he attempted to flip inside gang territory. The reason he picked "Swole Creations" was that it was close to Maldinis, it showed a individual in great shape which he thought resembled him and the anvil would represent the start of something new. Building a new path. However while selling the drugs for almost seven hours with no interruption - Roger was met by an individual named 'Eugene' - Eugene saw what Roger was doing and Roger did not play stupid at all. He told Eugene exactly what he was doing and as usual overly apologized. Eugene told him that it was fine he was doing it in the area as they don't focus on that specific sale and nobody was around at that time. Unfortunately another individual came by who did not feel the same way towards Roger's new hobby.
Roger was given an ultimatum. He was suggested to pay a tax (Which he was unaware of) or leave. Roger decided to try to talk to the individuals; and explain his side of the situation. He pointed to the business name, and explained the situation previous. The individuals were shocked to find out that Roger was not really making any money at all. During the conversation Roger was able to bring up that he would be able to help move product for them on a consistent basis - They agreed on a price of a 45/55 split; and if Roger got caught he wouldn't owe anything. When they returned they brought Roger some very high-level grade of drugs. The drugs were very pure, precise and calculated unlike the previous batch Roger was attempting to sell.
Roger managed to meet a few different individuals who wished to purchase the drugs until during one of the transactions a very clean SDSO car passed him and witnessed it first hand. Roger noticed the SDSO car and started to run. The officer from SDSO jumped out of the car and started chasing him. Roger decided to run South as his vehicle was blocked in by a local who crashed just after all of this started to happen. While running south the SDSO officer shouted: "Where are you going - your compound?" - Roger did not understand this at first but decided to run back towards where he made the sale to throw off any potential track. While running back Roger 100% seen that he was not going to be able to get out of this. He decided to reach for his Sledge Hammer - When attempting to do this the SDSO officer shot Roger in the leg and then the chest. Roger decided to immediately went "unconscious." Roger wakes up at the Hospital with the SDSO officer. The officer explains that his name is Moses with SDSO. Roger then asks what happened and gets information from Moses about what took place even though he knew what happened.
During the interview (Questioning) for the crime Roger answers to Moses questions in "You told me this happened" - "I recall you said this went on" and finally before the interview would end Roger would say "I am just saying what you counseled me through" - Moses immediately ended the interview. Roger would not give up any information as he "did not remember" - Roger would then be fined $25,000 and be sent to 175 Months in prison. Roger decided to go visit the visitation center to prank call a Taxi to pass time. While attempting to prank call his friend Taheem who is a taxi driver he was met at prison by the individuals who he ran into in Little Souel. They were there and picked him up. They kept to their word and proved their word to be gold. As they were leaving they informed Roger that he would be joining crime school.
After they return to the city; Roger is quickly introduced to Crime School and taken to the Pacific Bank Heist to do a Vaults Robbery. Roger was joined in crime school with two other students named Yuri and Greg who Roger met earlier to have them work for him. It was a good reunion. Yuri, Greg and Roger would then attend the first Crime School session with Eugene and others. After the 'Crime School' Lessons of the day everyone went their separate ways and Roger went to Alta Apartments. While at the apartments the individual who met him while he was in jail seen him and say "Aren't you that guy? The guy who called me pal" - The conversation was overheard by others. After the individual left they talked about how the word "pal" shouldn't be offensive and its a term of endearment. This started the "PAL Movement" - Roger would meet Old Rusty, and Lee and start sharing the word. It eventually got to a point where there was 27 different people in the movement riding around on Tour Buses and then Mopads spreading the movement. "PAL" - Peace & Love / Positivity & Love or Pain & Lacerations to those who aren't friendly.
After the movement rally was over - Roger, Rusty and Lee did not quit and decided to further tell people about the pal movement. While adventuring towards the middle of Little Souel they met another member from the same group as earlier. He enjoyed the enthusiasm that the group presented and took them to "Sugar Bay Studios" a studio being open by April. While attending the event, Roger met Carmella and gave her coffee to help sober her up. He then talked to others and tried to get to know more people. After the business opening there was a confrontation where a man in a wheel chair hit everyone. After the situation was simmered; April, Willy, Lee and Roger walked to the bank where April got money from her grandfather and asked Lee/Roger to take care of him. April and Willy leave to the wuchang studio after Roger said he would not watch Willy.
They decided to catch up with them anyways, and watch Willy. While inside Wu-Chang Studio April is kidnapped to the back after Roger overhears that GSF is going to snatch her chain; She gets stabbed in the bathroom and Roger tries to keep Willy calm. Since April told Lee/Roger to watch Willy they took it upon themselves to try to keep him secure until they heard back from April. LostMC gets involved because Willy calls them to say that Lee/Roger have kidnapped him. After that confusing confrontation Roger gets arrested for a stolen vehicle. While getting out of MRPD he runs into the Bimbos from earlier. Naomi claims Roger as her boyfriend. Roger goes along with it until they are called to a store robbery that just took place at their Bimbino location.
Background Information / Character Story[]
Roger Dot was born and raised in Los Santos, specifically in Vespucci Beach. His parents were both fitness enthusiasts and encouraged him to stay active from a young age. He started working out at the local Muscle Beach gym as soon as he was old enough and quickly fell in love with weightlifting.
As he grew older, Roger became more and more obsessed with fitness and bodybuilding. He spent all of his time at the gym, working out and studying nutrition and exercise science. He quickly became one of the most muscular guys at the gym and gained a reputation as a fitness guru.
Despite his passion for fitness, Roger struggled to find direction in his life. He worked a variety of odd jobs to support himself, but nothing ever felt fulfilling. It wasn't until he discovered the world of competitive bodybuilding that he found a true sense of purpose.
Roger began competing in bodybuilding competitions and quickly rose through the ranks. His massive size and impressive physique made him a standout, and he won several local and regional competitions. He even made it to the national stage a few times, but never quite managed to win a major title.
