Description[]
Roddy Stone moved to Los Santos from Montreal, Canada looking to start a new. His life back home had started to break down and he just had the urge to get away from it all. After moving to Los Santos he changed his legal name from Roderick Stone to Roddy Stone, though he still let's those close to him refer to him as Roderick.
Despite all of this Roddy is an easy going guy and is just looking to make his own way in the chaotic city of Los Santos.
Appearance[]
Roddy has short white hair in the style of an undercut with a fade. Has natural brown hair which can be observed in the fade, and has to dye his hair every so often.
Sometime during his first week or so in the city he got his first tattoo sleeve on his left arm. This led to him eventually getting a tattoo on his neck and midsection, though his neck tattoo was eventually removed, leading to him getting another tattoo sleeve on his right arm.
He wears a lot of sweaters, sweatpants, tank tops and skinny jeans. Though not a fan of shirts under most of his button up's he can often be found wearing plaid button up shirts with no undershirt. He can typically be found wearing darker toned clothing as the brighter reds and blues have gotten him confused with gang members and that is trouble he currently doesn't want.
Backstory[]
Roderick Stone, better known now by Roddy Stone was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
During his youth Roddy was on the heavier side and was bullied because of it throughout his youth. During high school he would seclude himself in the library and this is where his love on literature developed, specifically his love of fantasy as well as his love for history. As the years went by he eventually found himself a nice bar that he'd go to with a good book and overtime become a regular at, getting to know members of the staff and opening up to them little by little. He'd go to the bar so often and stay so late as he'd get lost in his reading that the manager eventually asked him if he'd just like to have a job at the bar, which he graciously accepted. Through working at this bar he eventually broke out of his shell.
Growing up in Montreal there was never a dull moment, with festivals, conventions, concerts, etc, which he and his co-workers would go to as often as they could. It was at one of these music festivals that he met a girl, they immediately hit it off and after having mentioned the bar he worked at the girl would come by from time to time. After a while they started to date and things were looking up for Roddy.
As the months went by of working at the bar, the owner took a liking to Roddy and would ask him to drive him around on the side. This lead to the two getting close and eventually led to the owner starting to ask Roddy for some strange favors, like "dealing" with certain unsavory customers by taking them into the back room and roughing them up a little. Roddy wasn't fond of this type of work but put up with it for a time, that was until the owner eventually called Roddy into his room and handed him a wood box. Inside the box was a gun which Roddy refused to take and quit the bar. Quitting the bar really sent Roddy into a downward spiral, he never really left the house much after, was drinking a lot more and his girlfriend just couldn't handle it anymore, breaking up with Roddy.
After a while of genuinely being unhappy and friends and family expressing concern, Roddy decided that he just needed to get away from it all for a while. So he packed his books, some clothes, grabbed what money he had and booked a ticket for Los Santos with the hopes of maybe starting his own bar or connecting with some new people.
