Growing up, Richard was known for his athleticism and leadership skills, excelling in football and basketball at Eastridge High School, where he graduated with honors in 1998.

After high school, Richard enlisted in the United States Army, where he began a distinguished career that would shape his future. His journey started at Fort Rucker, where he was initially deployed as a Military Police Officer. During his time as an MP, Richard showcased his ability to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and ensure the safety and security of his fellow soldiers. His dedication and exceptional performance earned him the opportunity to attend the prestigious US Army Aviation School at Fort Rucker.

In April 2010, Richard embarked on an accelerated course in Avionics and Aviation Navigation, training to become a UH-60 Black Hawk Pilot. His hard work and determination paid off when he graduated and was placed on active duty. Over the next seven years, Richard completed two tours in Afghanistan with the 104th Airborne, where he provided vital support as a Black Hawk Pilot. His bravery and skill in the line of duty earned him the Medal of Honor for SOCOM Overwatch services.

After a decade of service, Richard transitioned from the military to civilian life, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a strong sense of responsibility. In May 2017, he joined the Sheriff's Office in Ocean Drive City as a Deputy. There, he continued to serve his community by patrolling the city, upholding traffic laws, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety of its citizens. Richard's diverse skill set includes proficiency in both military and civilian 10-codes, marksmanship with the AR-15, and certifications as a Black Hawk Pilot and Paratrooper. His strong code of ethics, athleticism, and commitment to service are further reflected in his hobbies, which include boxing and Japanese ice hockey.

Fluent in English and conversational Japanese, Richard is now eager to join the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD). His goal is to serve and protect the citizens of Los Santos, progress through the ranks, and attain the Air One certification to leverage his extensive military aviation experience.
