General Description[]
Rebecka "Beck" Lovejoy is a 24-year-old living in Los Santos. She moved to the city June 25th, 2020. This is the first time she has had her own apartment. She is hoping to settle down in Los Santos. She is a FTO Dispatcher for the Los Santos Police Dispatch, Badge #D-8. She also is hired as the DOJ's Assistant/Stenographer. She does interior design work on the side as well. She had regular seizure episodes that she now takes medicine for. Avid wearer of red.
Background Info[]
Rebecka "Beck" Lovejoy was born and raised in Liberty City. She lived with her parents, André and Celeste Lovejoy, and her younger brother Joseph Lovejoy. She went to Shoreside Vale High School.
Her father had been apart of The Red Jacks, a local gang in the south of Liberty City, since he was 16 years-old. Her mom and dad met when they were 18 and had her a year later. When Beck was 7-years-old, her little brother Joseph was born. Her father was a mechanic but did petty crime for the gang to provide for his family. He tried to hide the crime from his children but Beck was a smart kid and knew better. She begged her father to take them somewhere far away and leave this all behind. He reassured her that they were not in danger. He would protect them until the day he died.
One day, Beck suggested to her mother that they have a mother/daughter day. They went shopping for most of the day. On their return home, they noticed cops all over the neighborhood. They got to their house and noticed the front window all shot up including the front door. The cops stopped them and let them know what had happened. Her father and brother were targeted and were shot multiple times inside their home. She was 15 years-old this day.
After this tragedy, Beck's mom fell into a deep depression. She blamed Beck for the loss of her husband and son. She stated that if Beck didn't want to go out that day, they could of been home to help protect the family. Celeste started to become physically and emotionally abusive towards Beck. After a year and a half, when Beck turned 17, she decided that she would run away from home. She stole the money that was in a vent in the house. Her dad had told her about it one drunken night. He said it was for her college, even though he knew she wouldn't need it due to her probably getting scholarships.
Beck went to live with her friends in North Liberty City. Couch surfing for 6 years, trying to save up money so she could move to Los Santos.
When she was 18 years-old, Beck had her first seizure. Waking up on the floor of her friends’ apartment. Very dizzy, confused, and her arm hurting. Due to her not having medical insurance, she’s never been to a doctor to confirm her seizures. They only lasted a little over a year before completely disappearing.
Due to her father passing when she was 15 and the seizures, she never learned how to drive. She has been paranoid for years thinking that her seizures would eventually come back. Maybe she will finally learn once she moves to Los Santos.
Los Santos Life[]
On Beck's first day in the city, the first person she met was Randy Bullet. He asked for her number and proceeded to troll her messaging her that he was Charles Prince and wanted to date her. (She is still unaware of this trolling, thinking it actually is Charles) Immediately after meeting Randy, she met Logan Turner. He thought she was someone else he knew at first. He asked her where she was going and took her to the bank. They proceeded to hang out, starting a great friendship.
