Raymond Romanov is a character role-played by Ray__C.

Description

Raymond Romanov was born in Russia on Valentines day in 1994. He has grey hair and usually wears a grey suit and glasses. He is known for his great flying and was the "best pilot in his nation". He uses Rayven-1 as his call sign for radio communications with air traffic personnel. He seems to be very liked by many and has made connections throughout the city in a short time. He currently works at Rooster's Rest and AirX Flight School. Raymond does extremely well to hold up an excellent appearance to the outside world to disguise his criminal life. His reputation in the criminal world is growing ever so quickly together with his knowledge of criminal activities. He is a very valuable and useful member to Pegasus Concierge. He is also addicted to gambling at the Diamond Resort and Casino, admitting that "it is an issue" when he says: "Raymond is addicted to gambling", "I want to gamble more" and "I got no control".

Professions

Rooster's Rest

During Raymond's first few days he was hired by Humberto Antonio Donato Pecorino to the Rooster's Rest and has made many friends there. About 2 week since his arrival, his loyalty was rewarded by a promotion and was given keys to Rooster's by Lang Buddha.

AirX Flight School

Raymond was hired as one of the workers at AirX Flight School within his first few days. He is currently one of their flight instructors and skydiving instructors.

Pegasus Concierge

Raymond is hired into Pegasus Concierge "unofficially" by Nino Chavez after proving himself in multiple occasions. He is mainly involved in laundering money for Nino and Pegasus.

Rooster's Ranch

Raymond's 'clean' criminal record, together with his reputation are the main reasons for Lang Buddha to hire him into the business as security. His job is to assist in ensuring the safety of weed during production and transportation.

Friends

Hannah Hiltop
After a few days since Raymond started working at the Rooster's Rest, Raymond ran into Hannah Hiltop during one of his shifts. On the same day after their shifts, Raymond decided to ask her out to a romantic helicopter ride for their first date and she agreed.

Their first date was cut short unexpectedly as Hannah was shot twice from a distant upon arrival at the Vespucci Helipad, beside the dock. She was severely injured and required major surgery. Fortunately, Raymond managed to take cover behind a nearby trailer and called for help. She was rushed to the hospital and her surgery was a success. The shooter remain unknown to this date but the main suspect is believed to be a "purple hair woman" that had been abusing Hannah at the Burger Shot.

Hannah recovered some time later and they managed to resume their date and go on their romantic helicopter ride. They enjoyed each other's company so much that they decided to make things official at the end of their date.

Despite only been dating for a few weeks, Raymond made his intentions clear to her and told her that he wants to tie the knot. Hannah agreed but she demands a proper marriage proposal with a crowd of friends and family.

Riley Carter
Raymond met Riley Carter while working at the Rooster's Rest. Riley's connections in the city and her knowledge of the criminal world helped him to settle in. Riley became his partner in crime and they grew very close to each other.

One day, Raymond received a text from Riley asking him to meet her at the dam while in the car with Harry Brown. He quickly learned that the dam is a prime location for executions. When he arrived, he found himself pointing his gun at a man, which happens to be a friend of his; Malakai Anderson.

Raymond later learned that Malakai used Gillia Taylor to make Riley jealous but that had angered her too in the process. Riley then became obsessed to get her revenge against Malakai and Gillia. Her mission brought up mix feelings and clashes between principles, which led to Raymond feeling as if he had lost a friend in both Riley and Harry. In one of Riley's text messages to Raymond later, she said to him: "I care about you and will always be there for you ".

Raymond and Riley met up later and he learned that Riley had put herself in a lot of trouble. She told him that she stabbed Malakai before throwing him down the pier and fled the scene immediately. However, she couldn't bring herself to let Malakai die so she went back to save him and drove him to the hospital. While Malakai was receiving treatment, EMS told Riley that Gillia was a witness to the attempted murder and had reported it to the authorities.

Raymond, being a great friend of Riley, drove her back to her apartment to prepare for any potential raid. They later rekindled their relationship. Coincidently, Raymond received the opportunity to do his first ever bank heist not long later. Raymond and Riley planned and robbed the bank together, while bringing along Juan Carlos Hernandez, aka Flippy, and Malakai, after his recovery and being the best hacker Riley knew at that instance (AND WHY NOT?). The heist was a success.

Harry Brown
Raymond met Harry Brown while working at the Rooster's Rest. They did many crimes together and they became friends.

One day, Harry tagged along with Raymond to assist Riley in her dispute with Malakai Anderson. Riley mission's created some tensions between them and Raymond felt he had lost their friendship.

Some time after Riley's attempt to murder Malakai, Raymond called Harry on the phone to inform him about Riley's situation. They talked for a while and Harry told Raymond: "I care about you, Ray" and "I just don't want you to get hurt", "like what you've seen first hand", referring to Riley's situation. Since then, they started rebuilding their relationship and in a phone call between them Harry was happy and congratulated him for his first successful bank heist.

Noah Drake
Raymond met Noah Drake, aka Dr. Drake, at the hospital, while receiving treatment from the doctor himself.

Their first interaction was a memorable one for Raymond. Dr. Drake's brutally honest personality did not hold himself back from roasting Raymond throughout their interactions. This had happened every time they see each other.

Even though Raymond always say that Dr. Drake is annoying and that he does not feel like talking to him, he will not admit the fact that Dr. Drake is one of his best friends.

After Raymond graduated Dr. Drake for his helicopter licence, Dr. Drake shared a business proposal with Raymond. Knowing about Raymond's connections throughout the city, he invited Raymond to join him in this venture as the Co-Founder of the potential business, owning 50% of the company's share. People are eagerly waiting for the development as they both said: "It will be very beneficial to the people." and "It will be big money".

Nino Chavez
Raymond met Nino Chavez through Lang Buddha and Humberto Antonio Donato Pecorino, aka Donny and working at Rooster's Rest.

Nino saw the great potential in Raymond and took him under his wings, off the books, for Pegasus Concierge.

Raymond is currently assisting Nino in developing a money laundering operation. During an Oxy-run, Nino was stopped by the police. Raymond managed to save Nino in time by baiting the police officer to a chase. They both managed to escape.

Apart from Oxy's, they occasionally hunt together and are planning to do a bank robbery together soon.

Humberto Antonio Donato Pecorino, aka Don or Donny
Raymond met Donny at the Rooster's Rest and was hired by him almost immediately. Donny together with Nino Chavez and, occasionally, Lang Buddha helped Raymond settle down into the city. They introduced him to many people and are one of the reasons for Raymond's success.

Raymond and Donny do not hang out very often due to Donny's involvements with Cleanbois and Lang. Perhaps, we will see more interactions between the two in the near future as Raymond continues to make his name known to the criminal world.

When they are together, they usually hunt and money launder together. They also have plans to do a bank heist together in the near future.

Lang Buddha
Lang Buddha is considered as a mentor to Raymond. He had taught Raymond many lessons about survival in the criminal world during Raymond's time at the Rooster's Rest. Raymond looks up to him and values his time and all his teachings. Raymond's rapid growth in reputation has never gone unnoticed by Lang and was hired to help Lang with his operations. 'off the books'.

Over time, Raymond's ability to remain 'clean' in the eyes of the law despite already committed and is continuing to commit many high tier crimes, ie: murder, drug trafficking, etc., is highly praised by Lang. This capability serves Raymond well as he is now hired officially as a security for Rooster's Ranch.

Grove Street Families (GSF)
Due to incidents involving Dexx Martin (the leader of Grove Street Families (GSF)) and Raymond being affiliated with Cleanbois, GSF could be a potential enemy.

The "Demons"

The First Encounter (7th and 8th April 2021)
Raymond received an anonymous phone call during his shift at the Rooster's Rest asking to meet, potentially for a job. Reluctant at first, but Harry Brown encouraged him to go to explore more of the criminal world.

Later that day, Raymond went to meet the anonymous group, later known as the "Demons" according to Nino Chavez. They offered him a guaranteed laptop the next day for $20k and if he pulls off a bank heist successfully, he will be rewarded with a Micro SMG, aka Uzi, with value of $8.5k. Raymond agreed to the terms and brought a team together which include himself, Lang Buddha, Eddie Delish and Humberto Antonio Donato Pecorino, aka Donny.

The next morning, Raymond went and collected the laptop but the heist was a failure. He did not manage to escape and lost his cut for the heist and did not hear from the "Demons" since.

The Redemption (13th April 2021)
A few days later, Raymond managed to pull off a successful bank heist.

Later that day, while preparing for some Oxy runs with Nino Chavez, Raymond received a call from the "Demons" again. They expressed interests to work with Raymond and offered him the Uzi for $9k. Raymond agreed and made the exchange.

Money Laundering and Oxycontin

Raymond is known as one of the best money launderer by dealing drugs, more specifically through dealing Oxycontin (Oxy). His method has proven to be very efficient with very high rate for successful runs. He helped Nino Chavez and Pegasus Concierge to develop the safest and most efficient money laundering operation, that is now known as the "Pegasus-Strat". This method is yet to be tested on a larger scale for future business opportunities.

The Pegasus Strategy, aka Pegasus-Strat
This strategy has 2 stages, as followed:

  • a loading vehicle (250+ trunk space), preferably Huntley S, aka Enus
  • a get-away vehicle, preferably Dominator

Loading phase:

  • 1-2 look out(s)
  • 1 person to load the packages

Hand-off phase:

  • 1-2 look out(s)
  • 1 person to handoff the packages
  • Trunk is closed at all times to avoid attentions
  • Everyone stays out of sight as much as possible

Changing location:

  • 1-2 people in the get-away vehicle
  • 1 person in the loading vehicle
  • They keep enough distance from one another in case of police stops


Stage 2 (Only applies if Oxy is not 'hot'):

Requirement:

2 people (each doing their own Oxy-run)

2 cars:

  • 2 loading vehicle (250+ trunk space), preferably Huntley S, aka Enus

The Introduction (3rd April 2021)
While Lang Buddha was waiting for his weed operation to be legalised, he has been growing and selling them illegally.

One night, Raymond received instructions to go to the "ranch" in the last minute by Lang. He then learned that he was there as a backup to Harry Brown, Erin Cox and Barry Benson, securing the production and transportation of weeds.

The night did not work out as planned as the weeds were all stole by 3 men who managed sneak into the farm undetected. The 3 men was later known as Jean Paul, Lenny Large and Charles Johnson.
