General Description[]
R.U.S.T. stands for "Raymond's Unfortunate Scuff Team" (see aliases for other interpretations). R.U.S.T. is a gang that participates in heists and other jobs to generate a flow of money for the group. They hold the Rogers Scrapyard as their territory, which they legally own. They also made a skilled E-Sports team with plans to make money through Arcade competitions.
R.U.S.T currently has a total of 21 official members: 18 Full Members, 3 Scraplings.
Background Information[]
R.U.S.T. is a street level criminal group in Los Santos, led by degen Raymond Romanov of the Cleanbois (CB). In the beginning, before R.U.S.T. was founded, Raymond often found himself awake in the late night hours when the other CB members were asleep. So Raymond befriended a group of criminals with unique skills around the city. During those days, Raymond would do many elusive criminal activities with them, including robbing banks and shooting cops.
Eventually, Raymond decided to shorten his circle of friends to one core group that was officially named the R.U.S.T. Crew on January 10th, 2022. Initially, the R.U.S.T. Crew was only intended to be a heist crew that specializes in high-profile robberies from banks to yachts. On May 29th, 2022, R.U.S.T. is officially recognized as a gang and received their gang flag which can be seen inside the building of the Rogers Salvage & Scrap where the "Jetpack Jesus" shrine was located.
R.U.S.T. was an unofficial subsidiary of the Cleanbois because they are Raymond's family. Then on June 2023, R.U.S.T. had a fallout with Cerberus, which also severed Raymond's ties with the rest of CB members and its association, and now R.U.S.T. is currently a standalone gang. R.U.S.T. consists of members with many unique skills from hacking, shooting and driving to cooking and dealing drugs. The current second-in-command, Seano Blackthorne, aka the Chemist, is well engrossed in the drug markets. He was one of the main drug suppliers for many of the south-side gangs as he had developed many good relationships with them. La Flare Davis is deeply connected in the arms dealing industry and has many connections in the underground market from firearms and thermites to weapon accessories. Flare can get his hands on just about anything that is available in the city as he is one of the most well-connected dealers in the city.

R.U.S.T. claims Rogers Salvage & Scrap as their main territory as Raymond legally owns the land and its properties. Their territory for now claims the whole scrapyard area. The scrapyard is surrounded by multiple gang territories, hindering their expansion plan.
The scrapyard is the main center for meetings and planning. R.U.S.T. members used to hangout at the Clean Manor due to their close affiliation with the Cleanbois and usually hosting holiday events there. R.U.S.T. is currently using the color red-black to represent themselves, which is a homage to one of the oldest crews known in the city - the Leanbois, which is the precursor of the Cleanbois according to Raymond.

- R.U.S.T changed their name from "Raymond's Unfortunate Street Team" to "Raymond's Unfortunate Scuffed Team" as requested by members of Street Team to prevent confusions between each other.
- 9 times out of 10, RUST starts a war when Raymond is asleep.
- Derek is a faithful follower of Jetpack Jesus. He sometimes can be seen baptizing his fellow gang members or civilians at the Dutch London canal.
- The Devious trio - Benz, MacGregor and Kiwi always roam around the city hitting multiple devious licks which sometimes land them into trouble.
- All prospective members are required to pass an unofficial test known as the "Fredo test", named after former hangaround, Fredo Sanchez. The test is used to "vibe-check" prospective members and test their loyalty to RUST when R.U.S.T is in a conflict with another gang(s) or has ongoing internal conflict.
- R.U.S.T. has 30 sprays around their compound [Last updated August 11th, 2023].
- R.U.S.T. don't consider themselves a Southside Gang, and even jokingly say they are LSIA-side with Hydra Gang.
- After all R.U.S.T. HC members were charged with Coop's Law for constantly targeting Cerberus board members, new legislation known as Restricting Undesirable Serial Targetings Act was created by Chief Justice Crane. The new legislation was made to replace the Coop's Law.
