Preston Asphalt was a character role-played by Tormy.
General Information[]
Preston was a young man dressed in black and white protective gear, including a backpack full of traffic safety pamphlets and posters. He also wore a "domino" style eye mask. He travelled Los Santos in search of bad drivers, hoping to change their ways, due to the fact his parents were both struck and killed by a driver when he was a child.
Death[]
On July 29th 2021, Preston was encouraging motorists to drive safely when he ran into Mel Rickenbacker. Preston got into his car under the pretence that Mel wanted to show off what a good driver he was. He then witnessed Mel stabbing Tessa Lamb and was summarily kidnapped and set on fire by Guy Jones - who was part of a group led by Mel. The group appeared to believe Preston may have snitched on them.
Preston's safety gear turned out to be incredibly flammable, and he went up in flames, dying almost instantly.
No one was charged for his murder.
