Perry O'Dontell is a Staff Doctor for Los Santos Medical Group, specializing in Neurology.
Background[]
Perry was raised to help others by a mother who worked as a GP for over 30 years and a father who was a teacher. For 5 years Perry worked at Champion Health, where he rose to the rank of Attending Physician and Fellow. He moved to Meredith Metro Hospital where he worked for 9 years as Attending Physician, becoming Head of Neurological Surgery, Opthalmic Surgery, Colon and Rectal Surgery, and ER 3rd Shift. After threats on his life were made, he gave up visitation rights to his 2 daughters to build a new life in Los Santos.
Once the Los Santos government collapsed and Perry was out of a job, he went back to Las Venturas to care for his Ma and Pa, who were getting older. He got in touch with the local authorities in Liberty City, and about 2 years in, was told the threats on his life had gone. He could once again be in contact with his ex-wife and kids. Only... Annabelle had remarried. The kids were getting older and Perry was just a father in name at this point. Annabelle and he agreed he could come in town for holidays, but beyond that, coming back into their life now with their new family would only make things harder. The family had an honest discussion about it, and while tears were shed, Perry promised to be part of their life but from far away - like a proud Uncle. The littlest one, Jasmine, took it the hardest, but the choice was made...
Perry assumed that was it. He'd just spend the rest of his days in Las Venturas, taking care of his folks, and driving an Uber...
Then he got the news about Los Santos being rebuilt. By whom? He didn't know. Then the email came... They wanted Dr. Perry back.
He promised himself if he went back, he'd set his goals on something much bigger...
