Pepper was born in New York. Her mom Lisa got cancer when Pepper was 13 and passed away when Pepper was 15. She never met her father but her mother insisted on Pepper keeping the Mynte name as it is respected. After her mothers death Pepper hit the road to avoid being thrown into foster care. During this time she spent time in Boston and New Jersey before heading to Vice City. In Vice City Pepper ran into Shawn who was a member of a gang called the rat pack. Pepper was the group's hacker, during a job something went wrong and the cops started cuffing members of the rat pack. Pepper slipped the cuffs but was unable to help any members of the pack. Pepper hit the road once more making her way to Los Santos.
