Paleto Bay Sheriff's Office/3.0/Pre-restructure

The department was originally formed during the dissolution of the BCSO in the aftermath of the second Sheriff election of 2021, during which Sheriff Kyle Pred was assigned to the new department with his previous rank, while then Assistant Chief of Police Domenic Toretti was appointed as Sheriff of the newly formed Senora Desert Sheriff's Office. The then PBSO gained sponsorship from Cerberus, and a significant rebranding was announced on October 24th, 2022. The Cerberus Police Department was formed from extensive talk throughout 2022 with Cerberus and members of The Paleto Bay Sheriff's Office headed by Sheriff Kyle Pred and his High Command. PBSO was renounced and reformed on February 26th, 2023. All staff had lateral transfer in ranks and certifications.

Chain of Command[]

The Sheriff, Undersheriff, Senior Captains, and the Captains are all High Command.

Lieutenant, Major and Sergeant are Command.

From there is Corporal, Senior Deputy, Deputy, Solo Cadet, and Cadet.

Deputy call signs begin with 3 (as in, 3xx). Cadet call signs start with 5 (as in 5xx), while Cadets cleared for solo patrol have call signs that begin with 6 (as in 6xx).

Support Operations[]

PBSO Personnel and Training Division. Ranking of FTOs varies, beginning as low as Deputy.
Street Crimes Unit. Ranking of detectives varies, beginning as low as Deputy.
