Oreo Gang (better known as O Block) is a street gang formed by Jamal Abdul Jabbar, Ralphie Ralphs, and Larry Knox. During the month of November, 2022, the trio had been hanging out together and started calling themselves 'Oreo Gang'. The name stemmed from a joke, where when the founding members stood together in order, they resembled an Oreo.
Originally they held down the old Aztecas block, which was where the nickname 'O Block' was created. Due to The Dons occupation of the turf, Larry offered the leader of The Blocks, Mike Block, $500,000 for a house on Covenant Avenue. On November 30, 2022, Mike agreed to the deal, and Oreo Gang moved to Covenant Avenue.
Following a conflict with Gulag Gang and the Ballas, Ballas leader Jon Joyce told Marty Banks that O Block was to be removed from Ballas' turf. The Ballas had been allowing O Block members to hold down a small piece of their turf on Covenant Avenue, but as relations soured, O Block was forced to move back to the now vacant old Aztecas block.
