Omar DeDon is a character role-played by omareloff.
General Information[]
Omar is currently an OG member of Gulag Gang and founder of the now disbanded The Dons. He is known for his leadership characteristics and fierce loyalty to those who he trusts.
Backstory[]
Prior to moving to Los Santos, Omar began his criminal career as a prospect in the Lost MC. He was officially patched-in following his key role in the war versus The Saints (A strong rival gang known for it's shooters). Omar had 17 confirmed kills during a single siege which lasted three hours. The president of the MC recognized Omar's strategic abilities during the war and offered him a leadership position as Vice President overseeing soldiers. With his new position, Omar began to train a group of elite shooters who would move on to leading their own chapters of the MC in various cities. After a falling out amongst the leadership of his chapter, a mutiny broke out in which Omar was stabbed in the back and left for dead. After taking what he thought was his last breath, Omar closed his eyes, then suddenly he regained consciousness lying in an abandoned hospital bed in a neighboring city. Confused as to how he ended up there, he figured it'd best to consider this a second chance and start anew. Omar would move on to call upon his past generals, bringing them together to form a new organization that uses his family name: The Dons.
While The Dons were progressing to become one of the most reputable organizations in the Midwest, Omar started to realize things seemed too convenient. His success felt almost scripted and controlled. He didn't know how to explain it, but it sometimes felt as if his surroundings were being controlled by a puppet master. Noticing more patterns in his dealings, Omar began to question his peers, alliances and everyone he met. Suddenly, things took a turn for worse, almost as Omar expected. His own gang started to feel estranged, and all of his long established business dealings begin to diminish. Omar began to add the pieces together and just when the puzzle became clear, The Dons betrayed him by gunning him down as he returned to his home office late one night. As he once again found himself taking his last breath, he felt a needle enter his neck and the world went dark. After a large funeral attended by underground leaders from many neighboring cities paying their respects, Omar found himself once again waking up in a hospital bed in Los Santos.
First Days in Los Santos[]
Upon waking up in Los Santos, Omar responds to an ad in the yellow pages by Garrett Jobless saying "Looking for new friends :)". Garrett took Omar on a tour of the city which led to Garret entering Omar into the "Octopus Games", a game inspired by the "Squid Games" organized by April Fooze.
After the Octopus Games, Omar ran into Ash Ketchup and others in front of the apartments, and she tells him to get into the car. The ride led the group to Los Santos International Airport, and into a private jet piloted by Mickey S. Mickey took everyone on a flight over the city, eventually crashing into a tree and nearly killing everyone on board. This led Omar to becoming afraid of trees.
Some days later, Omar ran into Garrett again and is taken around the city and introduced him to a few new people. He informs Omar about the different gang of the city including his own, Chang Gang. Later, Garrett introduced him to Mr. Kebun and Ramee El-Rahman. The crew took Omar on a wild expedition leading to a Meth cooking tutorial with Siz Fulker. After to cool down, the crew head to the Diamond Casino and Resort to gamble where Ramee offers Omar a job at Vultur Lé Culturé. Later Garrett took Omar on a more in-depth tour of the city, showing him various Chang Gang businesses. Omar was impressed with what he saw and quickly began to find find his footing in Los Santos.
