History[]
Nicole arrived in Los Santos in May 2022. Her first few days in the city were quite lonely and her bank account began dwindling. Desperate for cash, she took up jobs at the sanitation department. One of her first days working sanitation she met Scott Gamble and Mase Machuca. They took her under their wing and began showing her what Los Santos has to offer. They introduced her to their organization, The Saints.
The Saints offered Nicole an opportunity to learn new skills, encouraged her interests, and join a family. She was hesitant to participate in criminal activities but she realized that she had to learn to say yes more often and try new things. In July 2022, The Saints formally invited her to join as a hang-around. On July 31, 2022 she earned her flag and was promoted to full member.
After tension over Nicole's affiliation with GSF and the Southside, she was blooded out on December 23, 2022.
For weeks, she contemplated her options and her future in Los Santos. On January 7, 2023, she accepted the role of hangaround with GSF. On February 7, she was promoted to Prospect. March 27 she was blooded into the Forum Drive Families. On August 6, 2023, Nicole was given the role of Baby G. On September 25, 2023, she was moved up to G. After hearing how the war with The Saints was being handled by the OG's, Nicole decided her time with The Families had come to an end. Nicole opted to be blooded out by her ex-husband Gary Church on October 13, 2023, in which 4 blooded in members and 2 prospects left the gang.
On April 1, surrounded by the family (at gun point) Gary Church and Nicole were married at the Vanilla Unicorn Strip Club. However, after weeks of contemplation, Gary and Nicole dissolved their romantic relationship on June 3.
Background Information[]
Nicole Mathes is from St. Louis, Missouri. She grew up in a middle class neighborhood with her mother and father. Nicole married her high school sweetheart after they graduated from university. He came from a wealthy family and it grew significantly after he landed a lucrative job. Nicole, not having to work, spent her time with other housewives.
After a few years, she became bored of her life. She realized that she has not had a single goal or thought of her future in a long time. Her husband became controlling of every aspect of her life. She decided it was time to reclaim her independence and filed for divorce. He made her life a living hell and her parents disowned her because divorce would mean they were being cut off financially. She saw only one way out and it was to give him everything. After the divorce was finalized, she was left with a beat up car and enough money to make it to Los Santos.
Relationships[]
-Billy Mang: Nicole's best friend and love. Nicole and Billy met during her first days with The Saints. At first she was quite intimidated by him but over time, she grew fond of him. She appreciated his guidance, humor, and friendship. Eventually, Nicole developed a crush but after hearing Billy discuss how he doesn't believe people in the same gang should date, she backed off. Even while dating Gary Church, Billy always held a special place in her heart. Over time, their bond strengthened and they became best friends. When her relationship with Scott Gamble fell apart, she immediately ran to Billy for comfort. Even when Billy left her to become a spy against the Russians, she made sure to get him anything he needed. After he was kidnapped, she spent every waking moment looking for clues as to his whereabouts. Those that were torturing Billy would call Nicole and make her listen to his screams and pleads for them to kill him. They would follow her around town to taunt her. After Billy was rescued, she helped nurse him back to health and was one of a few people to know his whereabouts. She fully intended on following him to Mayhem but, it didn't work out. When she told him that GSF forced her to marry Gary, it was the saddest she had ever seen him. They both lamented about how they never got to explore their relationship. Nicole's goal was to always protect Billy, even if it meant losing her life.
-Jamie McQueen Nicole and Jamie met in early October 2022. They were paired up to work at Dodo Logistics together. After inviting him to the Saints Stripper Night, they became fast friends. Over time, it was rare to see the two not together. Even if they could not hang out, they made sure to connect through phone calls every day. However, the one subject they did not see eye to eye on was Billy Mang. Jamie was never a big fan of him but it only got worse after Billy intentionally crashed an airplane at an event, resulting in Jamie being in the ICU and having memory loss.
Death[]
A few days before her death, Jamie had let it slip that Billy was a hangaround for BBMC but someone had said they weren't going to accept him. Nicole, feeling it was her duty to protect Billy, relayed this information to him but did not name her source. After numerous conversations back and forth, it was clear that Nicole was going to be finally forced to pick between her two best friends. She would have to either out Jamie, would had her back through thick or thin and was an innocent bystander in the situation, or tell Billy. Billy was unpredictable and had hurt her on numerous occasions (but she still loved him) and Jamie had never.
On October 19, Billy and her met at "their" spot, on top of the Vinewood sign. He demanded she tell him the source or walk away from their relationship forever. Nicole chose to not reveal the information. Billy and Nicole talked about their good times. He took out his gun, took the bullet out, and handed it to Nicole, telling her no one else would get this opportunity to walk away. She slapped it out of his hand and slapped him across the face. She turned to stare out at the city and he picked up the bullet, placed it back in the gun, and put it to her head. Nicole waited for everything to go black but climbed down the sign, silently. She walked down the dirt road, sad she had lost the love of her life, and disappointed Billy was a coward for not pulling the trigger. She twatted out "you should have done it." She continued to walk down the road, in the rain. Billy had gotten in his car and hit her from behind, down the mountain. Just as she was standing up and without a word, he shot her in the head once, killing her instantly.
