Mortimer Scottsfold (also known by his alias Yung Fierro) is a rapper and resident of Los Santos, role-played by inix.

All of Mortimer's music is available on YouTube, Soundcloud, and Spotify.

Major Events[]

Microwave Incident[]

During Mortimer's 19 month imprisonment for attempted theft of a microwave (but spending 2+ years in prison because - as claimed by Mortimer - he was "forgotten about"), he practiced rapping on prison grounds. Note: Mortimer released a song about meeting his arresting officer Tyme Reducer. The song is titled Officer Shitface.

Once released and returned to the city, Mortimer demonstrated his newfound rap skills to a single person by The Apartments. He quickly gathered a small audience, who recommended he contact Wu Chang Records.

Mortimer got an audience with Wu Chang founder Mr. Kebun (and associates) and introduced himself as Yung Fierro, which would become his rapper alias. He then demonstrated some acapella raps in the Wu Chang Records lounge area.

Mr. Kebun complimented Mortimer on his performance, gave him his contact info, and asked Mortimer to call him for a meeting once he's able to perform a full song (including an original beat).

Wu Chang Records Audition[]

Mortimer made a number of tracks and met again with Kebun at the Wu Chang Records office, this time in the studio.

At his audition, Mortimer debuted his first original song. Because of the chorus "Yeah, I be lookin' like a lean boy, cash washed up I be lookin' like a clean boy" Kebun and associates thought the song was about the gang Cleanbois, which caused Ramee El-Rahman to beat Mortimer up inside the studio during his performance.

Mortimer insisted that the lyrics are simply a coincidence and that "probably every verb or word refers to some gang in this city". He claimed that he was simply "rapping about his lean figure and clean appearance", and later clarified that the line "cash washed up I be lookin' like a clean boy" refers to money laundering ("my laundry is clean, thus I look like a clean boy").

After performing a second song - one about Kiki Chanel "scamming him with these elf shoes" - Kebun said he was impressed with Mortimer's ability to "jump on all kinds of different styles", and promptly gave him an artist contract with Wu Chang Records.

Cleanbois Assassination Attempt[]

Threat[]

Mortimer arranged an official event at Rooster's Rest where he would premiere new music. The event had many attendees, including Mr. Kebun and Ramee (Chang Gang), and Denzel Williams (Cleanbois).

During Mortimer's performance of "Lean Boi", Cleanbois' Denzel spoke to Mr. Kebun and Ramee in private and said he'd kill Mortimer if he ever performs the song again. As a result, the Chang Gang members started chanting at Mortimer to play Lean Boi again (presumably to aggravate Denzel).

While performing another song, Mortimer was approached by Wu Chang Records artist Molly Minaj, who told him that if he played Lean Boi again he's likely going to get shot. Scared to insult Wu-Chang Records' executives (Mr. K and Ramee) - who were still calling on him to play the song again - Mortimer reluctantly decided to perform it again.

Chase[]

During the second performance of "Lean Boi", two masked individuals (one of them being Denzel) entered the stage. Mortimer started to run around the venue during his performance to avoid getting shot. He found his way out of the venue, and the event's crowd followed him.

Denzel got into a car and cut Mortimer off in a parking lot, and aimed a gun at him. The rapper consequently surrendered and put his hands up.

Shooting[]

On the parking lot and surrounded by a large crowd, Mr. K stood in-between Mortimer and Denzel and the following dialogue took place:

  • K: "Hold on. This is my f***ing artist right now, Denzel."
  • D: "I'll give you two grand."
  • K: "Two grand? You're gonna have to give me five hundred K. Have you heard his music? This guy has top level f***ing music, he's one of our A-One artists. That's gotta be worth more than two grand."
  • [Ramee starts singing the "Lean Boi" chorus]
  • D: "Hey Mr. K, [...] let me ask you something. This guy is worth a lot right now, right?"
  • K: "Yeah."
  • D: "Now imagine how much he's gonna be worth in death."

Denzel then shot Mortimer in the face. Mr. K pulled out his pistol and shoots Denzel in the head. Everyone immediately ran from the premises and Mortimer and Denzel were taken to the hospital by their associates.

The beef was later settled through a phone call between Denzel and Mr. K, agreeing that it was an "eye for an eye" situation. Noone informed the police of what happened.

OTT Diss[]

In response to meeting Outto-Tune Tyrone ("OTT") and battling him on the Dean World stage - where OTT called him "Mickey Mouse" - Mortimer released an OTT diss track called "1079". The track contains fast, double-time rapping and radio code was received positively all-around.

OTT heard the song during Mortimer's first live performance (doing live vocals) at Rooster's Rest. OTT performed his own diss track "Who Chang" , and then (during a private conversation) complimented Mortimer on deciding to perform live.

Saving Ramee[]

When Mortimer was hospitalized after Douglas James hit him with his car, he saw Taco Prince laying next him in the hospital bed. Taco was being robbed by Mando (who said he respects Mortimer's music and won't violate him). Mortimer failed to help Taco as he proclaimed to be scared of the police walking in at any moment.

Shortly after, Ramee was brought to a hospital bed in cuffs. Ramee asked Mortimer to take his illegal items off him. When nobody was looking, Mortimer took Ramee's gun, lockpicks, VPN, and grapple hook. Right before the police entered the area, Mortimer released Ramee from his cuffs (using ass lockpicks) and quickly exit the hospital and secured the items, which were later returned to Ramee.

Mortimer released a song about the event and kept names private by using codenames such as "Ramen" instead of Ramee and "Tortilla" instead of Taco.

The song is called "Ramen".

Wu-Chang Promotion to Executive Producer[]

After frequently working on day-to-day artist management with Douglas James (who Mortimer refers to as "Dougie"), Douglas came up with the idea to take on a new role at the label together with Mortimer.

The two artists recognized that while there's solid "business to artist" management, there's a lack of "core artist" management e.g. setting up collaborations, creating performance schedules (based on genre/style etc.), reviewing artist loyalty, and other types of "up-close" management.

After meeting with Bobby Brown to discuss the idea of a new position, Bobby promptly called Mr. K which resulted in a meeting where Douglas and Mortimer both got promoted and given the new title of Executive Producer.

From BCSO Song to Commissioned Theme Songs[]

Mortimer released an 80s "movie-style" rock song called "BCSO" which was positively received, particularly by the Blaine Country Sherriff's Office. Several officers have since asked Mortimer to make theme songs for them (and others) for 5 figure payments.
