General Description[]

Mortelle was a gang run and lead by Cindy Tipton that resided in the Pink Cage. Formerly an exclusively female organization, Mortelle changed to prioritizes women but became open to anyone.

History[]

During the startup of Mortelle, the group was organized to be a street team to improve their crime skills as Cindy, Stevie, and Olivia all had ties to BBMC, and wanted to seek out other women who may have ties to other groups as well to join as a side hustle. During the first few weeks of groundwork, Liv mentioned she wanted to run the group by the Bondi Boys for approval before starting, however BBMC did not approve of managing a crew under their umbrella. Stevie and Cindy continued to develop the groundwork and seek out potential members anyways. Cindy left BBMC, where she was a hangaround, after being shot by her husband at the time, then-Treasurer Pez, and turned her focus towards growing Mortelle. Originally Mortelle had set a goal to purchase a mansion nearby The Balbani Crime Family, however changed their goals and purchased a warehouse first. After purchasing the warehouse, multiple meetings took place in which the group discussed the future of Mortelle and mutually decided to take it serious and grow it into something big. During this period of time Stevie left the group as it was becoming more of a legitimate gang, however still hangs out with the group as a friend. Throughout these meetings, they declared the official start of Mortelle as a gang.

Major Events[]

Founding of Mortelle - Early November 2021
At it's inception Mortelle was not intended to be a gang, it was instead focused on training women for crime (including members/hangarounds of gangs) across the entire spectrum of criminal activities. Mortelle's name was coined by co-founder Stevie McQueen.

The original membership of Mortelle was amassed by co-founder Cindy Tipton and included: Cindy Tipton, Stevie McQueen, Olivia Garcia, Mami Ko, Elizabeth Byrne, Rory Borealis, Linda Maridan, Maia Berkeley, Vera Tea, Oki Doki.

During the first meetings of Mortelle's membership, Cindy Tipton was assigned the position of leader, jokingly titled 'El Milfe' in reference to the Vagos El Jefe and Cindy's Milf status, and a hierarchy was teased out with full members having full access to money/supplies given the title of 'Wifey' and non-full members being titled 'Sidechick', an aesthetic was chosen of the general color pink along with black helmets with glowing pink trim. Goals were set for the purchasing of the mansion directly south of the Clean Manor southern gate (neighboring allies The Balbani Crime Family) and a warehouse.

BBMC's Self-fulfilling Prophecy - November 22 2021
Due to Mortelle's creation by BBMC prospects and hangaround, Mortelle was brought up as a point of discussion in a formal BBMC meeting attended by: Prime Minister Irwin Dundee, Vice PM Barry Benson, Treasurer Pez Speedwagon, Secretary Chip Wheeler, Patched Member Channing Turner and Prospects Jordan Lee, Olivia Garcia, Edbert Ropeburn, Jesse Reed, Junior Meats.

Jordan, as close associate to the Bondi Bunnies (Stevie, Olivia, Cindy), had been half-informed of Mortelle's development and decided to bring it to the attention of the club as a girl gang being built by Cindy.

Olivia, having already distanced herself from Mortelle awaiting it to be an approved activity by BBMC High Command before she would return, gave a barebones defense of Mortelle as she was more focused on protecting her position in the BBMC. She informed the meeting that Mortelle was not intended to be a gang and that Cindy was intending to discuss it with High Command.

Dundee and Barry were both immediately against the concept with Dundee prognosticating that even if Mortelle was not intended to be a gang it would become one. In their eyes Cindy could not be both a hangaround and a gang leader so either Mortelle or Cindy was dead in the water.

Pez made it clear to his fellow High Command/Founders that he was unhappy and not defending his hangaround/wife's actions. He would shoot Cindy on North Chumash pier 3 days later, acting as their divorce and her removal from the BBMC.

(Ironically, despite being so vehemently against the concept, the BBMC would months later approve and spearhead an almost identical street team concept in Beach Crew.)

Mortelle Transitions to a Gang - Late November-December 2021
After being shot by Pez Speedwagon (Nov 25), Cindy went into hiding from the BBMC under the name 'Dahlia' (gifted to her by the only BBMC she trusted to keep her secret, Mortelle co-founder Stevie McQueen), Cindy spent much of her time in hiding with Wolfe McCreedy whom she knew well but who didn't know her as he had lost his memory of everything related to the BBMC after being blooded-out of the club two weeks prior. She spent this time considering what her future was to be and came to the conclusion that she would never want to be in a position again where she could have her home and family ripped away from her, for that to be possible she would need to be in charge and so decided it was time to take Mortelle seriously.

Cindy's time in hiding came to an end (Dec 1) and building Mortelle became her top priority. Cindy laid down Mortelle's roots, claiming The Richman Hotel as their turf, primarily used to hang out at, push weed from and host many meetings with gangs as Cindy gathered gun/drug connects and elevated their rep diplomatically. With the claimed turf they ditched their previous goal of purchasing a mansion in favor of focusing on purchasing a warehouse (bought Dec 12).

Mortelle's criminal activities in these early days consisted of pushing weed on their turf, pushing meth in the warehouse district, regular heists of banks/jewelery stores/corner stores.

As the new seriousness of Mortelle became clear it shed it's gang-affiliated members Stevie McQueen, Olivia Garcia, Vera Tea and classified it's less serious members Maia Berkeley, Oki Doki as Sidechicks. However Stevie McQueen was still being considered a shadow member by Cindy due to Stevie being unclear if she was definitively out (having lost Wolfe and Cindy so recently and internal issues to the club putting into question if she would stay with BBMC) but as she was still part of the BBMC she was defacto not Mortelle at the time.

Lizzie's HUT - December 5 2021-January 15 2022
Elizabeth Byrne kidnapped and tortured Officer Lily Pond and was continuing to hold her captive while a manhunt by the entire PD searched for them. (If I had a nickel for every time Cindy Tipton provided lookout for someone torturing Lily Pond, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Right?) Once caught, Lizzie was charged with Serial Assaults and Killing for this and previous kidnappings/tortures of government officials.

During her lengthy Hold Until Trial, Mortelle continued to support Lizzie in any way possible, leading PR campaigns to improve her public image in preparation for opposition to a death sentence and later pushing for a trial date as it became apparent her trial was not forthcoming. She would serve 42 years in prison awaiting trial.

Membership Changes - Late December 2021
Picked up new Sidechicks (hangarounds) Lily Frost and Melody Raven a pair of friends new to the city that Cindy nabbed up from the apartments and brought along to crime.
Meeting with Los Santos Dolls - Late December 2021
Old friend of Cindy, Paris Argo is leading a heist crew called LSD and wants a meeting with Mortelle so Cindy invites them to the Richman. Cindy had no reason to think this meeting would be anything less than amicable but it turns hostile as LSD attempts to press Mortelle on repping the color pink. Mortelle has no interest in gatekeeping pink and Cindy points out that each group has a defined aesthetic: Mortelle's helmets and LSD's ski-masks (or 'gloryholes' as Blue calls them ruining ski-masks forever). LSD's issues are defused and conflict deescalated.
Rorys Murder - December 30 2021
Wifey Rory Borealis was hanging out with her boyfriend (and Vago) Santiago Madrid in the parking lot of the Korean Plaza. As a result of her relationship and ongoing Ballas/Vagos hostilities she was assaulted by Balla Omar "O-Dogg" Andrews resulting in her death.

Rory's murderer was never charged by police despite Santi snitching to the police officer taking statements at the morgue.

Membership Changes - January 2022
Picked up new Sidechicks (hangarounds): Natalie Dabosse, Marie Ortiz.

Marie came to Mortelle through her connection to Elizabeth Byrne,

Free Lizzie - January 16-Febuary 2022
Elizabeth Byrne was acquitted of Serial Assaults and Killings, instead found guilty of Coop's Law. She was sentenced to one year of prison and nine years of parole.

Mortelle warmly welcomed Lizzie to freedom as she left prison, introducing her to some of the new membership of Mortelle she would be an OG to. Lizzie however was claiming to have cold feet in now being part of a gang when she had originally joined Mortelle as a crew, she made it clear to Mortelle's OGs that she might be leaving Mortelle.

As Lizzie was re-acclimating to freedom she started receiving offers from gangs enticed by the infamy of her case, respect for her long prison service, hearing about her skills and, in the case of the BBMC, her connection to Cindy Tipton.

Lizzie kept Mortelle at arm's length as she weighed up offers from the two gangs she admired the most HOA and BBMC. On behalf of BBMC, she was being courted specifically by Cindy's ex-husband and active tormentor (making regular threats to harm Mortelle and friends/family of Cindy), Pez Speedwagon, who offered that she become his hangaround.

Lizzie eventually took up Pez's offer to join the BBMC as his hangaround despite being fully aware of Cindy's history with him, ending her position as a Mortelle OG/Wifey and irreversibly damaging her relationship with Cindy.

Introduction to Riley Carter - February 03 2022
Cindy is contacted by a mysterious stranger who claims to know alot about Cindy and Mortelle and has something to offer her. They set up a meet at the upper level of the El Burro fire station parking lot (Capitol Blvd and El Rancho Blvd). Being given no information on who she was meeting or why, Cindy is on high alert and assigns Marie Ortiz to find a position to do lookout for the meeting.

The person who arrives is Riley Carter (shadowed by her partner Malakai Anderson), who knew about Cindy and what she was doing with Mortelle through her friendship with Linda Maridan. Riley's reason for the meeting is her presenting herself as a gun connect for Mortelle. Riley gifts Mortelle with multiple Automatic Rifles with a stipulation: that Mortelle wear them on their backs without fear and to use them on any men who would dare talk down to them. Cindy accepts.

As the meeting is wrapping up and Cindy no longer feels the need for a lookout, she tries to call Marie to meet back up but she doesn't answer. Cindy and Riley start searching. Marie had been kidnapped by Sergio Lopez, leader of the Marabunta Grander, for taking a lookout position on MG turf. Marie is found with Sergio on Sustancia Road. Cindy tries to cool down Sergio as he's talking shit about Marie, Cindy eventually gets him to let her take Marie and leave.

Riley, learning what Sergio said about Marie, brings up that this situation is exactly what her stipulation was about and pushes Cindy to not let Sergio's disrespect go unanswered. Agitated by Riley, Cindy gets prepared for a meeting with Sergio. Strapped with Riley's gifts, Cindy, Marie and Riley (with Malakai on standby) meet Sergio on Fudge Lane to discuss the kidnapping and his disrespect. Sergio sticks to his right to patrol and defend his turf as he sees fit and defends his disrespect as in kind to Marie's 'big mouth'. Riley isn't having it and points her gun at Sergio leading to a shootout. With Sergio alone he is shot down and there is the question of what they should do with him.

Riley is apologetic for overstepping during the situation, then brings forward the problem that this will likely lead to a gang war between MG and MT that, in her opinion, Mortelle isn't ready to handle... that is if Sergio remembers what happened. Riley points out that they are in the fortunate circumstance that Sergio is completely alone, if they oceandump him this situation is unlikely to come back on them. Cindy is extremely anti-oceandumping but Riley lays out the rationalizations to doing so and Cindy begrudgingly agrees. They travel north to Catfish View. Cindy swims Sergio out into deep water and apologizes to him before leaving him out there.

New Turf and Turf Dispute With Los Santos Dolls - February 21-23 2022
Being dissatisfied with Mortelle's turf at The Richman Hotel, Cindy went searching for more suitable gang turf. She found the perfect locale for Mortelle's vision at the Pink Cage and on investigating for claimants found it to be untagged over a week of surveillance and not known to be occupied (since the removal of Pink Gang) according to the multiple gangs Cindy spoke with on it, including it closest neighbors Natural Born Crackheads and HOA.

Cindy, with Marie Ortiz, pulled the trigger on taking the Pink Cage by literally opening fire with OTs-14 Groza until police arrived and engaged with them in a shootout. From day 1 Cindy's vision for the Mortelle turf was stated clearly: they would start by holding down the Pink Cage and it's western oxy alleys to build presence among criminals in the city... However within a day of Mortelle tags going up in the area, LSD tags began being appearing on the first block to the west of the Pink Cage.

Meetings began between Mortelle and LSD leadership to discuss the turf claims. LSD's leader Paris Argo pushed her claim to the Pink Cage's western block by virtue of LSD members owning homes there and claimed they taxed/robbed oxy runners in it's alley. Cindy pushed back on them that they had not shown enough presence in the area to turn up during her pre-claim investigation but ultimately backed down and recognized LSD's claim to that block in return for them recognizing Mortelle's claim to the Pink Cage. Cindy was willing to peaceably give up on her western expansion plans for the time being to get Mortelle's feet planted.

The peaceful neighbors agreement was short-lived as LSD members decided to make a sticking point of demanding that Cindy commit to strict segregation, demanding no one from Mortelle would ever step on their block even if were to be to escape police. Cindy bluntly told them it was a ridiculous ask that she would not commit to and ended the meeting. LSD soon after rolled up on the Pink Cage, gunning Mortelle members down and then dragged their bodies to the Vinewood sign.

A few shootouts between the two gangs took place over the next couple days of which Mortelle was generally defeated, however LSD would seemingly vanish after that and Cindy's expansion plans were back on track when news came of LSD disbanding.

Membership Changes - February 2022
Across this month as Mortelle transitioned to a more gang-gang turf the fun rank titles of 'Sidechicks' and 'Wifeys' were dropped in favor of generic 'Hangarounds' and 'Full Members'.

Lost Sidechicks/Hangarounds: Oki Doki, Lily Frost and Melody Raven.

Lily was poached Asher Brown (a friend of Cindy from her BBMC hangaround days who followed a similar trajectory to becoming a gang leader) to become a member of The Collective Family and Melody followed her there.

Picked up new Sidechicks/Hangarounds: Alexandra Yang, Reini Melrakki, Ellie Fletch.

Ellie was brought to Cindy's attention by a member of the Vagos (Dixxi Schlong maybe?) who had run into her regularly at the Aztecas block, where Ellie lived and hung out but had no intentions of joining.

Sidechick promoted to Full Member: Marie Ortiz.

Lost Wifeys: Elizabeth Byrne, Stevie McQueen (officially).

Despite even more turmoil for Stevie in the BBMC as her wife (and Cindy's sister) Olivia Garcia left the club, she made the decision she would be staying with BBMC for the long haul, ending Cindy's hopes of Stevie committing to Mortelle and becoming second-in-command.

Micro-War With Aztecas - March 30-31 2022
Mike Block kidnapped Blue and other people to force them to vote for Sabith Cohen during her mayoral run. Multiple captives, including Blue, were forced to stab a kidnapped UwU Café employee while being filmed as blackmail. This employee was Aztecas member Sunday Best. Under the mistaken belief that Blue had pocketwiped her, Sunday started beefing with Blue which resulted in a meeting.

At the meeting, Sunday was accompanied by another Azteca while Blue had Cindy, Mike Smoore and a wheelchair bound Santiago Madrid with her. In the meeting, Sunday pushed the concept of this incident being a gang issue despite her being in an UwU uniform at the time. Attempting to de-escalate the meeting from war, Blue convinced Sunday to move aside for a private discussion. During this conversation Sunday and Blue were able to clear up their issues but Sunday's condition for peace was to be able to stab Blue. Blue agreed to the condition and Sunday redeemed it immediately - separated from the group, all Cindy saw was Blue being stabbed and instantly retaliated, shooting Sunday down with a shotgun. Cindy was shot down by Sunday's backup who was shot down by Mike and Santi. War was initiated.

Cindy, Blue, Santi and Mike struck first, pushing the Aztecas block, shooting down everyone and getting a selfie with their bodies.

Mortelle and the Pink Cage were on high alert expecting a retaliation. That retaliation came during a lull when a few members had left the Cage to do errands, leaving Cindy and a couple visitors alone in the Cage. The Aztecas quickly surrounded the Cage and shot down everyone inside and easily outnumbered the trickle of Mortelle returning. The Aztecas took Mortelle to grandmas and their leader Gabriel Navarro had a chat with Cindy about the cause of the war and on learning the circumstances proposed it simply be squashed and Cindy agreed.

Membership Changes - March 2022
Lost Hangarounds: Alexandra Yang, Maia Berkeley, Reini Melrakki.

Alexandra left Mortelle after being told by her employers at C.B.P.D. that employees were no longer allowed to be gang affiliated.

Reini left because she considered herself incapable of avoiding triggering gang conflict with BBMC. Immediately after became engaged to Cindy Tipton's son and BBMC prospect Edbert Ropeburn. Soon after was murdered by an enemy from Ed's past.

Maia was kicked out for her unwillingness to put the gang before her business.

Hangaround promoted to Full Member: Ellie Fletch.

Lost Full Member: Marie Ortiz.

Marie officially left to attempt to become a member of the Angels but unofficially left to follow boyfriend Meelo Graves in becoming a hangaround of The Mandem. Days prior to her exit, Marie along with Ellie Fletch were made aware they were being considered for Mortelle's unfilled second-in-command position.

Ellie's Betrayal - Late March-April 3 2022
Through weeks of bonding at Dodo Logistics (and psychological manipulation techniques) BBMC patched member, Jesse Reed worked on behalf of Pez Speedwagon to poach Ellie Fletch in Pez's campaign to undermine Mortelle/Cindy.

In the lead up to her exit from Mortelle, Ellie and Jesse were each backup to a meeting between Cindy and Pez (or Cody or The Highwayman) in which Jesse watched Cindy through a sniper scope and Ellie was left to drag Cindy's body to Pillbox after Pez shot her and dropped her off a suspension bridge. Ellie's vibes from that point on were noticeably off to Cindy which led to an incident during the Aztecas war where Cindy thought one of the Aztecas attacking her might have been Ellie betraying Mortelle. Cindy opening up to Ellie with this emotional insecurity was immediately leveraged by Ellie as a justification for leaving. Ellie would push the reasoning for her leaving Mortelle on to Cindy's mistrust of her.

Within days of leaving Mortelle, Ellie was brought into the BBMC as a hangaround to Jesse. Cindy learning how soon after leaving she became a hangaround and knowing the inner-workings of the BBMC and looking back on her off-vibes of Ellie reasoned out that Ellie had been conspiring to join the BBMC over a time period in which she was pushing to become Mortelle's second-in-command and well before the Aztecas incident. The duplicity layered on top of her betrayal would sour Cindy's relationship with Ellie even moreso than Lizzie's betrayal had with her.

Two Burned Warehouses and the Invention of Stockpiling - February/April 2022
On February 11, 2022, the police arrested Cindy Tipton with 12 meth baggies and an illegal beretta M9, subpoenaed her bank and phone records, and locked down the warehouse she owned (full of enough guns and weed for trafficking charges). Despite SCU Det. Demi Black pushing for a raid of the warehouse, Cindy completed her first ever big meth run with the Clown Cartel. The next day to Cindy's relief, the police had to unlock her warehouse because Det. Black's search warrant had been denied. Cindy managed to clean out all of her guns and weed boxes mere hours before Capt. Randy Wrangler, Det. Black, and SCU Deputy Louis Bloom raided it. That day, Det. Black launched an official meth investigation into Cindy because of how many times she had been caught selling meth in the same area. Cindy sold her warehouse and bought a new one under a clean face named Tom Ato.

On February 21, 2022, Det. Sexton Hardcastle created a Mortelle Gang List in the MDW after the police had gunned down Cindy and Marie Ortiz for carrying class 2 weapons on their new Pink Cage Motel turf.

Roughly one week after Mortelle started using the warehouse that Tom Ato owned, a confidential informant began secretly camping on a nearby rooftop. On February 25, 2022, the CI sent Corporal Lea Nova photographs of Cindy (in the same Mortelle outfit she had recently robbed a Fleeca Bank in) leaving with class 2 weapons from the warehouse. Nova and Lt. Matthew Espinoz raided it and seized 15 of Mortelle's illegal guns and half a dozen boxes of weed. Later, Cindy felt guilty when Tom agreed to take the fall for Mortelle's weapons trafficking. Tom then sold the warehouse. In a sealed court case on April 8, 2022, Cindy and Tom were convicted of possession of the illegal warehouse items, but acquitted of weapons trafficking and accomplice to weapons trafficking, respectively. Presiding judges Arthur MacNee and Reggie Might agreed that the prosecution had failed to prove that Cindy intended to distribute the guns.

This case would be cited for the creation of the charge of Stockpiling.

Liquid Library Jewelery Store Heist - April 26 2022
The Jewelry Store Heist
MortelleLL

Mortelle in the Liquid Library meeting room after the jewelry store heist (Pictured left to right: Mami Ko, Linda Maridan, Ethyl Winkelfiddle, Cara Lynn, and Cindy Tipton).

Mortelle was called to a meeting at the Liquid Library by Siz Fulker, Andi Jones, and John Miller. The girls were offered a jewelry store heist in exchange for ~$70,000 and future work if they were successful. The plan was to disguise themselves as the San Andreas Department of Health, with official badges provided by Siz, and "fumigate" the jewelry store to cover up the heist with the main goal being to get away without any police interference and return the heist documents. The girls got their hazmat suits, a stratum, a Bugstars van, "blue UV lights", a "radiation detector", and a "patient" sick with asbestos poisoning. They laid down their caution tape around the area with the UV lights killing the surrounding bacteria while the "patient" quarantined inside with Cara and Blue posing as the "exterminators". Cindy, Linda, and Ethyl kept the police out of the "quarantine" area and successfully talked them into leaving the area allowing Blue to grab 23 gold bars and ~10 jewels. Once they left, everyone returned to the Liquid Library and the girls were paid $70,000 as promised and received a commemorative polaroid in the Liquid Library meeting room taken by Stanley Wilkinson.
Membership Changes - April 2022
Picked up new Hangarounds: Nicole Reynolds, Cara Lynn, Lillia Robin, Cassie Miller, Ethyl Winkelfiddle.

Lost Hangaround: Nicole Reynolds.

Lost Full Member: Ellie Fletch.

Ellie being the third consecutive person to leave after Cindy considered them for the second-in-command position solidified Mortelle's second-in-command curse.

Membership Changes - Early May 2022
Picked up new Hangarounds: Zarina Vega, Valentine Dalla, Tsuki Oppaimanko, Charli Woods, Joslynn Prim, Violet Smith.

Lost Hangaround: Cassie Miller.

Riley Carter's Instant Prospecting Turns Instant Blood Out - May 21 2022
After months of supporting Mortelle as weapon supplier and personal advisor to Cindy Tipton, Riley Carter was in the process of being brought into Mortelle as an instant prospect but on her very first day hanging around Riley set up a 'training exercise' to test Mortelle. She requested friends at Gulag Gang attack Mortelle at the Pink Cage without consulting Cindy and purposefully hiding it. Initially GG made it seem to Cindy that they would be attacking Mortelle at the Pink Cage with melee weapons in what Cindy reasoned to be end of tsunami shenanigans but when GG rolled up with a 6-man squad gunning down everyone at the Pink Cage she was left wondering if they were now in a war against GG.

After tsunami, Riley called Cindy to inform her that she planned out the attack with GG, infuriating Cindy with the recklessness of hiding these plans from her and the disrespect of making such a huge decision without her despite not even being prospected yet.

Cindy lined up a confused Mortelle (and Riley) to inform them of what had taken place and to make it widely known that doing what Riley had done was not acceptable in Mortelle. Riley took offense to this public outing of her and refused to concede that what she did was wrong.

Cindy pulled Riley aside to set her straight but Riley stubbornly would not back down from her position and over the conversation repeatedly disrespecting Cindy's authority, culminating in her saying that even in hindsight she would still do it again in exactly the same way to which Cindy responded by shooting her in full view of the rest of Mortelle and commanding they remove her from their turf, which they did.

Soon after being treated at the hospital, Riley called up Cindy threatening to call in her friends and gang contacts to take Mortelle to war, ending any chance of reconciliation. These were ultimately empty threats as she had no gangs willing to go to war with Mortelle for her and she would soon reconsider her actions after gathering the small group of close friends willing to. The totality of her aggression against Mortelle would being and end with leaving a couple threatening tags at the Pink Cage when no one was around and a failed attempt to convince Siz Fulker to ban the HOA from giving Mortelle heist codes.

Membership Changes - Late May/Early June 2022
Mortelle introduced the rank of Prospect as a step between Hangaround and Full Member (specifically for the aborted flagging of Riley Carter). Also due to the respectable way Mortelle treated it's hangarounds and the boom in their numbers across May, the title of Hangaround began to take on the characteristics of an official ranking (similar to a Prospect in southside gangs) so people who were legitimately just hanging around began to be referred to as 'Pre-Hangaround'.

Pre-Hangaround: Antigone Weston, Aubrey Adams.

Antigone would ultimately not stick around to become a hangaround but participated in the kidnapping of Deputy Richard 'Dick Thickums' Tipps as Mortelle put him and Antigone through a crim academy.

Aubrey would become Cindy's girlfriend but not a hangaround, soon becoming a hangaround for the BBMC with Finley Milton (Cindy's Nephew) becoming her jacket.

Picked up new Hangarounds: Pinky Peppers (P9141125-P5161651819), Janette Styles, Mai Kazowski.

Lost Hangaround: Ethyl Winkelfiddle.

Hangaround promoted to Prospect: Cara Lynn.

In the leadup to her prospecting Cara had become depressive about her rank in Mortelle, believing she deserved higher than hangaround. Cara expressed doubts of her staying with Mortelle to close friends and complained to Cindy and Blue about her rank in a meeting. Awkwardly Cindy was already pushing for the prospecting Cara but her attitude and entitlement frustrated the OGs, leading to the promotion being delayed until they were confident she wasn't leaving.

Conflict with NBC - June 11 2022
NBC's Salem Barghouthi, Marcus Moore along with Carmella Corset were at the Pink Cage clothing store dressing up in drag. Mortelle's Linda Maridan, Charli Woods, Janette Styles and Pinky Peppers were in and around the clothing store prepping to do a boost.

Salem leaves the store and starts stealing Charli's car. Linda pulls up and has hangaround Janette draw a gun on Salem. Charli and Pinky leave the clothing store and Pinky draws on Carmella. Pinky has had a grudge against Carmella since an incident involving an ATM robbery and says some shit to her that results in Salem deciding to start busting. Pinky, Charli, Janette and Salem end up downed and are taken to Pillbox. Linda didn't have a gun and escaped to get one.

Leaving Pillbox, Salem posts on Twatter for Mortelle to call him and when Linda does he threatens war. Linda rolls up to Pillbox where the Mortelle hangarounds leaving the hospital have spotted Salem just across the street from. Salem thinks he/NBC can big dick Linda/Mortelle so Linda goes for shootout number two and the hangarounds run across the street to help her. Salem, Marcus, Carmella are all downed and get scooped up by the PD and charged with gang related shooting (Marcus and Carmella were self-snitching).

While they're in prison, Guy Jones calls a meeting with Cindy Tipton and sets peace terms at 20K and an apology to Salem. Cindy agrees to those being fair terms but wants an apology as well for wrongdoing on NBC's side but Guy flatly denies it, reasoning that NBC is a stronger gang than Mortelle and won't apologize for anything ever. Cindy is over getting big dicked and has available flagged Mortelle (Cindy, Blue, Linda, Cara) seriously consider going to war.

Ultimately Mortelle command decides these incidents weren't worth a war and agree to the terms. At the settlement meeting the groups hash shit out, Linda apologizes, Salem voluntarily apologizes. The only left over complaint from NBC's side is what happens with the hangaround who menaced Carmella at the clothing store (Pinky). Cindy confirms that she will be punished.

As punishment to Pinky for escalating the clothing store situation into a shootout and nearly war she is given a 30K fine and a beating which was administered by Linda. Pinky, being a delicately constructed android, was severely damaged by the knock to her head taking her offline and resulting in her creator remotely taking command of her body to guide Linda in administering a temporary fix for the damage to hold Pinky over until he would be able to visit and properly reconstruct her.

Coming back online, Pinky expressed her displeasure with how she had been physically punished with Linda and later to friend/technician/creator's apprentice Noemie Dekiller (not 100% sure this is the right character) who offered to give Pinky the money she needed to pay her fine. Pinky used the money given to her to pay Cindy within hours of her punishment being issued. The incident however left doubts with Pinky if Mortelle was the place for her.

Turf War With Royal Mafia - June 14-26 2022
Royal Mafia tagged the clothing store on Hawick and sprayed the shopping strip sign on the corner of Hawick and Alta within Mortelle turf. An unknown person wiped the spray (no one on Mortelle's side claimed to have done so) causing Royal Mafia to spray directly across from the Pink Cage on the Fleeca bank in anger. Cindy and others wiped the spray from the bank and from the shopping sign. Royal Mafia asked for money for the sprays, and said they are taking the block, and Cindy refused, resulting in war starting.

Royal Mafia's war party were talented and organized allowing them to dominate the battles against Mortelle which was at the time composed primarily of fresh to the city hangarounds. Despite the powergap, Mortelle morale was high given that the terms of surrender were not petty (losing not just respect but turf) and Cindy's high reputation in the city (and conversely Royal Mafia's reputation as snakes) gained Mortelle members ample emotional and financial supporters. Despite the high morale, when Royal Mafia kidnapped Charli Woods and Cara Lynn after a shootout and gave Cindy the option to pick one of them to be tortured or save both by surrendering, Cindy bargained to a surrender with a compromise on the amount of turf Mortelle would hand over. The war was then put on ceasefire awaiting RM leader Sidwig Crawshank agreeing to the terms.

In the leadup to and during the ceasefire, Mortelle hangaround Janette Styles was courted by RM to join them which she was receptive to.

The ceasefire ended and the war resumed without Sidwig ever being given the terms, as the acting RM high command decided to not take a compromise on terms in a war they were winning. When fighting recommenced Janette Styles was now an RM spy who repeatedly tipped RM off to Mortelle positions making it nearly impossible for Mortelle to regroup and restock adequately after battles. Janette's suspicious actions eventually got her found out by Cindy after which point she avoided Mortelle. RM's already aggressive battle style amped up even further resulting in Cara being ICU'd. Morale dipped and so Mortelle decided to end the war. Royal Mafia took the south side of Hawick and Little Mexico.

Membership Changes - Late June/Early July 2022
Following the Royal Mafia war Mortelle's leadership went through intense self-doubt and self-reflection on whether Mortelle had the means to continue as a gang with the constant threat of even more brutal wars than the one they had just endured and the threat of betrayals as destructive as what Janette had done. As a result, Mortelle leadership was even more wary of promoting and their discussions led to the ending of Mortelle's female exclusivity.

Pre-Hangarounds: Esca Lader (Later?), Sender Richards, Isla Reed.

Esca started appearing in Early June and was very serious in her consideration of whether she would join Mortelle even as a hangaround due to certain past trauma. Cindy was very fond of her as a result of her optimistic attitude, seriousness and learning about her history in which they shared similar traumas. Esca participated in some battles with RM during the war. She would not be seen again with Mortelle after June.

Sender and Isla were each connected to Mortelle through Cara Lynn, Sender as a friend and Isla as a friend who is dating Cara's brother Taylor Briggs. Sender began hanging around as soon as he learned of Mortelle dropping their female exclusivity.

Lost Hangarounds: Janette Styles.

Boom. In conversations with Charli Woods and Mai Kazowski following the RM war, Janette expressed the reasoning of her betrayal of Mortelle through her utilitarian mentality. This mentality would see her be kicked out of RM for snitching to police during a traffic stop where she attempted to get out of being kidnapped.

Hangaround promoted to Prospect: Charli Woods.

Pigeon Heist - July 01 2022
An Escalade carrying a large quantity of cash and armed guards is on the move. Pigeon tips off Mortelle about this as well as the information that he has tipped off other groups (Mandem and The Hidden) but will be keeping their names confidential.

The Hidden found the Escalade first on the freeway east of Paleto and opened fire. Mandem and Mortelle arrived after. In the commotion Mortelle and Mandem were stalled out by confusion of who were guards and who were rival groups.

The Hidden took the money and dipped, Mandem realizing what had happened chased them to The Lighthouse where they engaged in a shootout. The Hidden escaped with only one casualty and were able to stash the money.

The heist having begun and ended so quickly left Mandem and Mortelle roaming around up north trying to figure out if there was anything more than could be done.

As The Hidden went to Grandma's to fix up their casualty from the shootout, Mandem refound them engaging in a second shootout, downing the entirety of The Hidden. Shortly after that Mandem, still trying to find the loot, ran into Mortelle in Paleto and engaged them in a shootout as well, downing Mortelle.

CUM - Early July 2022
C.U.M. Unit starts making appearances throughout the city, pressing anyone with a Class 2 on their back and staking out gang turfs. Mortelle's penchant for carrying Uzis and Shotguns made them a juicy target for the taskforce.

Run-ins over this period led to: multiple members being pocketwiped by CUM, Cindy being left in cuffs on top of a mountain, CUM repeatedly attempting to hide on the roof of the Pink Cage only to be outed by Cindy's guard-dog hearing once resulting in Linda and Charli engaging in a dramatic shoot out to try to save Cindy.

This increased aggression and lack of respect for gang turf would be the opening shots in a war for respect against the PD. Cindy started preparing Mortelle to deal with police using her methods.

Linda gets HUT'd for a No-Balls - July 21 2022
'Yo, Mel. If you can't kill every cop in here, you old as shit...If you can't kill every cop in here, that just proves that you're old.' -Linda Maridan

Linda was working at Burger Shot that was packed to the brim with customers including police officers Wesley Arnold, Barry Briddle, Aaron Byson, convicted first-degree murderer Mel Rickenbacker aswell as his associates Jerry Atricks and Gladys Berry. Fulfilling Linda's Burger Shot shtick of attempting to cause as much shit as possible while taking a customers order, Linda purposefully instigated Mel with a no-balls veiled in Mel's trigger-word: 'old'. This caused Mel to plot an attack on the cops with his associates and random wheelchair-bound mischief maker Links Missin. In the chaos that unfolded, Ranger Wesley Arnold was struck down by a pistol whip from Links Missin and died before EMS arrived.

Mel, Gladys, Link and Jerry were arrested on scene, Linda was free and clear... until shortly after, while at Viceroy Medical Center to treat her wounds from the incident, she self-snitched on her no-ballsing Mel in front of officer Dan Faily. Cara Lynn witnessing this, attempted to facilitate Linda's escape but Linda did not recognize the danger her words were putting her in and was arrested.

Mel, Gladys, Link, Jerry and Linda were all sent to prison on a HUT for their participation in the events resulting in the death of Wesley Arnold.

Aside: Links Missin was wheelchair-bound at the time of this incident directly because of Mortelle... Links got himself into a conflict with Charli Woods that resulted in Charli and multiple other Mortelle members assisting in beating up Links, pool dumping him, shooting him, breaking his legs by running him over with a car repeatedly, curbstomping his head and finally dumping his broken bloody body at the southside clothing store with the gun they shot him with left on his body. That gun happened to be a house robbery safe Colt that had Cindy's state ID attached to it. After this incident Links had no memory of what happened and so asked his ex-girlfriend and police officer, Charlotte Fairfield, to investigate. Charlotte went to Cindy after finding her ID on the gun. Cindy made up a story on the spot and Charlotte decided to believe Cindy and not share the Colt ID information with Links. Cindy also had held on to Links' photo ID to use in traffic stops and was caught out using it by Sam Baas. Despite how ridiculously messy Cindy and Mortelle was with this assault on Links, he soon after died (disappeared?) in prison while on his HUT and neither Officer Fairfield nor Officer Baas bothered to follow up on their leads so no one in Mortelle was ever charged for this crime.

Mortelle Honorary Sparky becomes Mandem - July 22 2022
Sparky Kane, as a Mandem Associate (hangaround) had over the previous months ingratiated himself with Cindy (whom he considers his OG) and Mortelle into becoming a rare Mortelle honorary (more common was the many 'delusionarys' who only wanted to associate themselves with Mortelle for jokes).

With alot going on at Mortelle due to the previous day's shitfest (Linda on a HUT), Mortelle still made time to assist Mandem when they requested that Mortelle be part of a scavenger hunt they constructed to give Sparky his Mandem chain, officially bringing him into their gang. This involved Sparky and Mortelle engaging in a sing-a-long to deliver a lyrical clue during a long drive up north in a low-speed tourbus.

Membership Changes - Late July 2022
Pre-Hangaround: Eleanor West, Zia Anna, Elizabeth Rose.

Eleanor is at this time a Padawan (Hangaround) for R.U.S.T and is hanging out without any expressed intent of joining Mortelle... but things are not going well for her in Rust.

Zia was connected to Mortelle through Mai Kazowski who adopted her.

Immediate Hangarounds: Carmella Corset, Jupiter Adams.

Cindy had a longtime friendship with Carmella and while bonding over a day of exploring city changes together and hearing stories of how poorly she had been treated while trying to be accepted into NBC, decided to extend the offer of Mortelle to her which she immediately accepted. Carmella's sister Jupiter soon followed suit.

Pre-Hangarounds made Official Hangarounds: Sender Richards, Isla Reed.

The rapid acceptance of Carmella and Jupiter as hangarounds contrasted with the slow-pace with which pre-hangarounds such as Sender and Isla were being brought in caused some irritation with established members, especially with Sender and Isla's champion Cara Lynn.

Lost Hangaround: Natalie Dabosse.

Nat was kicked for repeated slip-ups in regards to gang mentality (not resisting arrest and pleading guilty against orders when Mortelle joyrode in a Swat vehicle, disagreeing with plans to shoot cops and/or help Cindy escape if she was found guilty in her guns/drug trafficking case, working at Hayes during the Hayes-BBMC conflict against orders, stupidly continuing an oxy job in the middle of a gunfight with Royal Mafia, prioritizing personal finances over the gang, oversharing on radio during hectic comms, letting Mortelle secrets slip in the company of strangers). At the time of her removal, she was the longest serving non-OG member of Mortelle, having been a hangaround for about seven months.

Hangaround promoted to Prospect: Mai Kazowski,

Cindy was unsure of promoting Mai, having still not gotten to know her well because of Mai's timidness around Cindy, but trusted in the opinion of Mai's biggest champion Charli Woods and the evidence she provided of Mai's loyalty in her conduct during the Royal Mafia war and in swatting away constant poaching overtures by traitor/former friend Janette Styles.

Hot Girl Shit *tongue emoji* - July 31 2022
Government worker and Charli Woods' Ex, Scarlett Winters was hitting on Cindy and sending her selfies on Twatter. Blue (Cindy's husband) threatens Scarlett on Twatter in response. Scarlett comes to the Pink Cage to bring Cindy 10 bowls of ramen. Blue pulls Scarlett aside and Scarlett immediatel starts hitting on her too so Blue stabs her.

Meanwhile, Carmella Corset is hanging out with her friends Ana Lana and Marcus Moore on the beach. Ana is trying to scam her boyfriend Appie Turk for money by saying she is pregnant. Turk shows up to the beach with his gang, Gulag Gang, and Guy Jones. Turk decides he can't be a father right now so he shoots Ana in the stomach. They decide to ocean dump Ana to make her forget the incident altogether but Carmella informs them she will just tell her friend what happened, hoping to prevent them going to that extreme. Both Ana and Carmella end up shot and ocean dumped.

By happenstance, Mortelle members are in the hospital as Carmella is getting ICU'd and learning of her apparent ocean dumping, they start investigating.

Mid-investigation, Murphy Braun calls Cindy telling her that Scarlett told him she was going to give Cindy ramen.

Mortelle finds out that Ana and Marcus were ocean dumped and that Ana’s car ended up at GG gas station. They get sidetracked when they find out that Carmella tweeted that she was having an affair with Brick James, Shelly Smith's current boyfriend. They also get calls from Stevie McQueen and Hubcap Jones that Shelly's son, Bringle Dingus, was not happy that Brick cheating on his mom with Carmella. (Officer Patrick Downing was paying Carmella to break up Brick and Shelly.) Mortelle interrogates Shelly and Bringle separately to try and find a lead but felt that each one had solid alibis that lined up with one another and so re-focused on Ana.

The girls meet back up at the cage and Chodie is waiting for Cindy to ask her what happened to Scarlett. Cindy says she is busy trying to find Carmella and has no idea what happened to Scarlett.

Mortelle start to become suspicious that Ana might be the culprit. Charli goes through Ana's tweets and sees that she tweeted to Turk that she was pregnant and was then shot in the stomach multiple times. Cindy calls Turk about what happened to Ana and after asking to meet up he says he is busy gambling at the casino so they rush there. During that call Ana tells the other girls that Turk is GG and they remember that her car ended up at the GG gas station. Not finding Turk at the casino, Cindy calls him again and deduces from his attitude that he was the perpetrator.

Mortelle discuss whether to take revenge on Turk for Carmella, likely resulting in a war with Gulag Gang. Afterwards, Cindy goes to bed.

Charli and Blue go with Sai Carter and his brother Pedro to look at a warehouse Charli has decorated because she might decorate the Sai Carter Gun Emporium. After that they decide to go to the Pink Cage where Cara Lynn is. Pedro rolls up first and he and Cara get into a spat because Cara has no idea who he is. This leads to ramming and drawing of guns between Sai and Cara but then Pedro shoots Cara. Sai quickly kidnaps Cara, lying to Blue and Charli that he will get Cara medical. Sai immediately drives Cara to a river to dump her. Before dumping her, Sai robs Cara and she tells him that if he takes her dog she will kill him. Sai takes her dog. Sai and Pedro threaten to kill/skin/cut the limbs off of Cara's dog at which point she falls unconscious. Sai calls Blue, asking for her ping and anonymously pings her to Cara.

Blue, Charli and Taylor Briggs (Cara’s brother) confront Sai and Pedro at the hospital. In spite of all evidence and commonsense, Sai and Pedro deny doing anything to Cara. After going in circles for an eternity and some weapons are drawn, Sai confesses that he hypothetically did it and killed her dog. Sai tries to separate Blue from the others in what seems to be a plan to one-by-one kidnap and dump everyone involved until he's memory wiped his issues away but Taylor comes out of the hospital and interrupts, giving Blue time to dip. Cara ICUs. Blue and Charli go to bed.

Linda is in prison on her HUT. Cindy goes away on vacation in a day. Blue typically won't be around. The prospects will be left in charge and half the city now has a reason to target Mortelle. Good luck prospects!

Cindy's Vacation (Raid+Turf Dispute with PG-18) - August 02-08 2022
Day 1: Cindy empties out the gang's hotel stash (drugs, guns, grenades, molotovs, dirty money, etc) to Charli Woods so that she can split it up with the other prospects, Cara Lynn and Mai Kazowski. Cindy says her farewells and leaves. The prospects go to a friend's (Aries King?) Vinewood house party. Doesn't seem like any of the shit from Mortelle wilding out the previous days is coming back to bite them. No problems here.

Day 2: Charli feels like doing some weed pushing at the Pink Cage. She only has two pre-hangarounds to do lookout for her but she goes for it.... with over 100 baggies. Just a few baggies into pushing and cops are already spotted slow rolling. She ask the pre-hangies if she's good, Elizabeth Rose says she is so Charli continues pushing. 5+ police units swarm the Pink Cage trapping Charli. The pre-hangies stay hidden and do nothing to help Charli as the police arrest her, search the dumpsters, find the 99 baggies of weed she stashed. Charli gets taken to MRPD and is held while they get a raid approved. Charli has not yet split up the Mortelle items, they're all in her properties. They raid Charli, taking everything she was given and charging her for them. She poetically receives the Stockpiling charge that Cindy/Mortelle had a hand in inventing. Loss of ~250k in items plus a 170k fine. Getting sent to prison allows Linda Maridan to deliver a punishment on Charli, beating the shit out of her.

Day 3: Repenting for failing as a lookout, famed grinder Elizabeth Rose pays the cost of the lost items. - Cara finds PG-18 tags near her home and around the northwest corner of Block 3 (Laguna Place and Spanish Ave). She had seen people who lived in the area before wearing pug masks so concluded 'PG' stood for 'Pug Gang'. Cara takes down their tags replacing them with Mortelle tags.

Day 4: PG-18 have gotten into a tagging dispute with Mortelle but somehow no one is running into each other. Cara has tried to figure out who they are so she can contact them and tell them to fuck off from Mortelle turf but has been unsuccessful. While talking shit about PG-18 to a friend while at an event she gets a call from them due to someone else at the event having overheard her. The call doesn't go well. She informs the rest of Mortelle to deal with PG-18 tags and be on guard.

Day 5: While tagging the turf and checking for PG-18 tags, Charli is kidnapped by Sai Carter, taken to the Catfish View docks where Sai Carter does normal Sai Carter things, threatening to murder/oceandump Charli, trying to extract ransom, being an awkward sexually-violent frustrated weirdo. Charli uses her feminine wiles on Sai to convince him to give her a bunch of money to get her out of debt. - PG-18 meets with Mortelle at the Pink Cage to try and settle the turf dispute peacefully. The meeting doesn't go well. There will be a war for the turf.

Day 6: War with PG-18. Mortelle honorary Sparky Kane and two other Mandem (bloodlust drunk on having just wiped the PD) dress up in pink war fits and hop into the Mortelle hunting party with Cara, Charli and Mai. Knowing that Cindy would never permit outside help in war, they convince themselves that Mandem is participating only as advisers and separate them off into a helicopter while the three Mortelle patrol on the ground. Royal Mafia are also driving around the area and bring out a heli for some reason and start pestering the Mandem heli. PG-18 gets the jump on Mai. They also get the jump on a pre-hangaround who was at the Pink Cage not involved in the hunting. Charli and Cara attempt to pursue with the help of Mandem's heli comms. The chase crashes out in front of the Royal Mafia block. Charli is shot down in her car. Cara comes in to save Charli but gets flanked and downed too. The Mandem boys watching the battle crumble for Mortelle from above decide to intervene, landing on the construction site across from RM block. Sparky fails the landing and, in true Mortelle fashion, dies to gravity. The other two Mandem start blasting from construction and shoot down some of PG-18. They fly over to the RM block roof trying to get a better angle on the remaining. Royal Mafia aren't happy Mandem are on their roof, words are exchanged, Mandem blast Royal Mafia too, initiating a MDM-RM war. - In prison after the battle, PG-18 start changing their tune, some of their members are already done with doing war. After prison, PG-18 requests another meeting in which they agree to move across the street north, out of Mortelle turf.

Day 7: Welcome home Cindy! We love you!

Pigeon Heist 2 - August 11 2022
An Escalade carrying a large quantity of cash and armed guards is on the move... again. Pigeon has gotten an inside man to place a GPS tracker in the Escalade and tasks Mortelle with hunting it down.

Mortelle's hunting party (Cindy Tipton, Cara Lynn, Charli Woods, Mai Kazowski, Carmella Corset, Jupiter Adams) plan to use the GPS ping of the Escalade to set up an ambush but for unknown reasons the target has been spooked and is moving erratically across Los Santos at top speed. The hunting party is left no option but to engage in a rolling shootout with the Escalade's convoy traveling through Sandy Shores, Grapeseed and eventually ending in Paleto (near where the first heists Escalade was shot out). Mortelle kills the guards by exploding the convoy, grabs the money and dips.

The Mint Incident - August 13 2022
Cindy is driving around chilling with her boyfriend, Santiago Madrid.

Having recently been smoking the police in chases, one of the police officers that Cindy is friendly with, LSPD Detective Demi Black, decides to offer to pay her to use her escape skills to train her cadets. Cindy accepts and is excited to participate.

Brielle Snowmin pulls up next to Cindy and Santi and begins a conversation. Cindy spots a friend and exits the car to speak with them, leaving Brielle to speak with Santi. Santi gets out of the car and leans into the window of Brielle's CVPI. Brielle offers Santi a mint for his bad breath. Santi eats the mint up straight from Brielle's palm. When Cindy comes back from her conversation she learns what happened and gets big mad with Brielle for hitting on Santi (which Brielle earnestly wasn't attempting). Cindy holds up Brielle at gunpoint and commands her to peepo shy and apologize, Brielle complies, Cindy is satisfied and leaves with Santi. Brielle calls for backup and writes up a warrant for the incident.

Demi informs Cindy that, due to the warrant out on her, she can no longer be allowed to train the cadets. Cindy is big big mad now that Brielle snitched on her after Cindy 'saved her life' (by not killing her). Cindy grabs some grenades and puts all of Mortelle on hunting Brielle down.

Hours of hunting later (and 20min after Cindy made Zia an official Mortelle hangaround), Cindy gets word that Brielle is at Otto's Autos. Cindy rolls up and tosses a grenade, blowing up Brielle, another officer getting a repair, their two CVPIs, and two Otto's mechanics. Cindy was shot down by Brielle's partner as she attempted to escape.

Mortelle attempts to save Cindy but their comms are a mess and Otto's is quicly swarmed by the PD. Zia, buzzing around Otto's trying to find an opening to save Cindy, gets her first arrest as an official hangaround.

The Death of Linda Maridan - August 16 2022
While on trial for the murder of Wesley Arnold, Linda Maridan gave a complete unfiltered account of events while on the stand leading to her being called a snitch in court by her co-defendant Mel Rickenbacker,

All available Mortelle voted to remove Linda from the gang while she was still in the courtroom in hopes of preventing the snitch tag being attached to Mortelle. Cindy was dramatically arrested as she announced Linda's removal to the courtroom, police having just searched her car and found Uzis (having intended to use them for an escape for Linda if the case went bad). Cindy's arrest led to a Mortelle shootout with the police on the lawn of the courthouse, landing Charli Woods and Mai Kazowski also in prison while the trial continued.

Cindy hoped there would be opportunity for reconciliation with Linda but after the trial rested and they met in prison, Linda aggressively confronted Cindy eventually stabbing Cindy and Charli with a shiv before she was subdued by a Molotov thrown by lifer and Mortelle honorary Amelia Waters. Linda died soon after in the prison infirmary. The cover story protecting Amelia and Mortelle is that the fire started from a faulty microwave exploding.

Judge Alan Crane made threats to Cindy that she would be prosecuted for Linda's murder but due to failures of evidence collection by DOC and bad comms among SCU detectives, no one has been or is likely ever to be charged for Linda's death.

The Mortelle girls had one final meeting with Linda from beyond the grave a days later (Aug 18) when she was summoned by Vecna to haunt them.

Membership Changes - Early August 2022
Pre-Hangarounds: Winter Sison, Jade Rahilly, Sébrina Fray.

Jade would not spend much time with Mortelle before moving on to join PG-18 but would be eternally infected by Cindy/Mortelle's Reeses Puffs meme.

Pre-Hangaround made Official Hangaround: Zia Anna.

All thanks to this video.

Lost Hangarounds: Lillia Robin, Joslynn Prim.

Lillia, being the only Mortelle member around EU hours, was feeling lonely and unable to provide for the gang. She had a meeting with Cindy and Blue about leaving Mortelle in which she left on good terms.

Lost Full Member/OG: Linda Maridan.

Over time after her death, Linda's removal from Mortelle would be willfully forgotten allowing her to reclaim the status of OG.

The Narrators & Bundy Part 1 - August 20 2022
Cindy gets a call from an unknown number in which some weird sounding voice, claiming to be 'The Narrators' is offering to provide something for Mortelle. They coordinate to meet at the Pink Cage. When The Narrators arrive they point guns at Mortelle and kidnap Cindy.

The Narrators transport Cindy to the Grapeseed torture room while the rest of Mortelle scramble to mobilize a group to find and save her.

The Narrators 'lightly' torture Cindy with electric shocks (flaring up her internal static and buzzing, a condition she has had since being electrocuted months ago). Jeffrey Bundy, Lennon Bundy and Demi Black (the Bundy Bunch) waltz in while Cindy is being tortured and get kidnapped by The Narrators too. The Narrators put Cindy and Lennon in the pit and tell them that they will kill whoever loses in a fistfight. Cindy threatens Lennon that she will have her family hunted if she even attempts to fight back. Cindy beats down Lennon with no resistance. Bundy takes huge offense to Cindy playing dirty and starts shittalking and threatening Cindy. Wondering why the Bundy Bunch are even in there in the first place, Cindy learns that Demi owns the house that sits above, the torture room is her basement.

Meanwhile, Mortelle was driving around to kidnapping hotspots such as banks and torture rooms. As they start checking out Grapeseed they notice police presence at the torture room.

Police somehow got wind of the situation and make contact with The Narrators to negotiate the release of the hostages. During this time The Narrators reveal their identity to Cindy so that they can have another shooter if things go badly... The Narrators are Mandem who were attempting to demonstrate and sell Cindy their service as torturers for hire.

During the hostage negotiations Bundy interjects with comments asking the negotiators to not value Cindy's life. Cindy ends up being the single hostage that The Narrators are allowed to take with them to prevent them being gunned down as they leave. Sparky Kane drives the packed getaway car with Cindy in the trunk as they are chased by a heavy force including Air 1. Mandem has Sparky drop off passengers one-by-one, eventually releasing Cindy second-to-last at the City Vault. Police stick with Cindy to check her out but need to return tot the chase so quickly give her the ok to leave and Mortelle, who had been trailing the chase, pick Cindy up. Cindy is pissed that the Mandem tortured her and super-pissed that Bundy commanded the PD to not value her life.

Later that day, Cindy with Cara Lynn, Charli Woods, Mai Kazowski, Zia Anna and Carmella Corset travel to The Lighthouse (which Bundy had dropped to Cindy as where he lived) to either get an apology or fuck him up. They can't enter the property due to the Lighthouse having a locked gate surrounding it. Cleo Shaw is inside and speaks with them for a moment before feigning a reason to walk off to call the police. Soon after, Lennon and Bundy show up, after a hostile back-and-forth conversation about the torture pit situation and an escalation by Cleo brandishing a gun, Bundy and Cindy walk off to the side to chat alone. Cindy is making progress on getting Bundy towards apologizing but midway cops start arriving on scene and Cindy decides Mortelle needs to dip.

A massive chase much like the one The Narrators had begins, complete with Air 1 from the very start. Cindy tries for some time to get away with her driving but the intensity of the chase leads to her car breaking down in the canals near the Santi Special (La Puerta Freeway and Innocence Blvd) leading to a desperation shootout in which Cindy and others in the group were shot down and arrested.

That massive police response when Cindy hadn't so much as threatened Bundy or anyone else at the Lighthouse makes Cindy super-duper-pissed.

Late into that night as Cindy is just chillin' decorating, Cody Speedwagon calls up Cindy and invited her to his home, the Lighthouse, to metadump her about his lore and Norman Bones and birds and whatnot. This gets interrupted by his girlfriend (ex?) Cleo who pulls Cody aside to tell him she wants Cindy off the property. Insulting as this is to Cindy, she managed to get the most important meta unlock to her at that moment: the open sea entrance to the otherwise locked down Lighthouse.

Bundy Part 2 & The Prison Riot - August 22 2022
Cindy is scheming on her revenge on Jeffrey Bundy.

Cindy, Blue, Carmella Corset and Cara Lynn jetski out to The Lighthouse (home of the Bundy Bunch), sneak onto the property from the sea entrance, firebomb the house with molotovs and shoot up Cleo Shaw's car. Cleo ninjas in as they're leaving and shoots down Cindy. Blue shoots down Cleo. Mortelle are trying to leave but the police show up quick (as Cleo called ahead of time) and they all get shot down and sent to prison except for Carmella who ends up ocean dumped by police incompetence.

While in prison, Cindy calls up Bundy and they have another chat where Cindy is requesting an apology for not valuing her life. It's going ok until Bundy wants an apology from Cindy in return. The conversation goes sour and Bundy threatens to use his AWM sniper rifle to shoot Cindy.

Lifer and Mortelle honorary Amelia Waters is around and on hearing the situation helps out by potatogunning a burner phone out of the prison for Cindy to use to taunt Bundy.

The Pack are planning a prison riot for Melbert Rickenbacker who had just had his sentencing hearing for the murder of Wesley Arnold, receiving a life sentence with possibility of parole. Amelia asks if Cindy and Blue want to join in and they're down. Marty Banks and Jack Cortair of Gulag Gang and notorious lifer Bovice Wilkinson arrive in prison too and join in the riot planning. The Pack distributes shivs, handguns, and molotovs to everyone. They storm the prison, taking out DOC guards then retreating to the cells to await the PD. The PD breach and get downed and robbed. During the lull, Cindy makes it a point to apologize to Mel for Linda's part in his conviction, Mel puts the blame on Linda alone and had no resentment towards Mortelle. The PD breaches continue to try and save the downed officers being held in the cells eventually leading to an entire wipe of the PD, a first for a prison riot. Cindy stashes a PD Assault Rifle in her bunk before they leave.

Immediately as Cindy leaves prison, Mai Kazowski gives her a tip off from her fiancee, Larry Jonsen, that Bundy was on the active workers list at Dodo. Cindy grabs a tommy gun from Mortelle's casino hotel stash and goes down to the Dodo docks to stake it out. When Bundy arrives back from his Dodo run, Cindy pulls up and blasts him. Bundy's wife, Dr. Lennon, who was doing Dodo with him starts shooting back at Cindy and the Mortelle girls but they escape unharmed without attempting to kill her.

Sparky Beefs with The Bimbos - August 25 2022
Mortelle honorary Sparky Kane released the track Medusa with a chorus about his crush on prospect Charli Woods and some disses in the verses for The Bimbos who had recently left MDM Records for Wu-Chang Records.

A few days later The Bimbos release a diss track on Sparky and MDMR. (Sparky would quickly release another diss track in response.) The Bimbos and their affiliates (mostly their little known crew Venus Fly Traps) would shower the Twatter timeline with noise about the beef. Mortelle supports their honorary but aren't too interested in being Twatter warriors until MDMR artist/Cindy's gf Aubrey Adams starts being a target for The Bimbos Twatter hate.

Meanwhile. Cindy has made a deal with Emma Gaine to become CEO of Happy Yoga and is going around the city, with Mortelle, advertising a coming grand re-opening of Happy Yoga. While giving Wu-Chang Records a free group yoga session sample, Bimbos member Brittany Hendrx starts interrupting the session to harass Cindy for being on Sparky's side of the beef while her fellow Bimbo Amara Beliveau tries to calm her down.

After the session, Cindy and Brittany get into an argument outside of Wu-Chang Records about her disrupting the yoga session, the beef, their dissing Aubrey, etc. Throughout Brittany is throwing in disses towards Cindy and eventually pushes her limit leading to Cindy shooting down Brittany and Amara. Immediately after members of VFT, who had been waiting nearby to see how the argument played out, pull up and engage Mortelle in a shootout which they won (with some help from Chang Gang locals).

In the aftermath of the shootout, Mortelle is taken to the hospital, VFT are bragging about shooting down Mortelle and Mortelle is confused on what VFT is. Learning from Wu-Chang management that VFT is The Bimbos & Friends gang, Cindy is now considering this a possible war initiation. In phonecalls they settle the conflict by Amara agreeing, on behalf of VFT, to purchase multiple Happy Yoga sessions.

VFT never paid for the yoga sessions. Amara got backlash from VFT's members, especially Brittany, for unilaterally forfeiting a war with Mortelle preemptively.

Heroin Run - August 30 2022
While visiting Mortelle's casino stash, Charli Woods bumps into Lang Buddha with her car and has a short conversation with him about Mortelle. After visiting the stash, Charli gets a unique phone alert from 'The Boss' which she accepts. ('The Boss' being the pseudonym which Lang and his associates use to operate his heroin production/distribution business.) Charli, who never turns down a mysterious ping, calls up Cindy to tell her she is going to it (completely unprepared for a heroin run). Cindy, who is with her boyfriend Santiago Madrid, questions her on the details of the ping and with the help of Santi (who has done multiple heroin runs for Lang and knows exactly what the ping is) decides to have Charli hold off on approaching the ping so they can quickly gather up a group with guns and supplies.

The squad is: Charli, Cindy, Santi, Mai Kazowski, Jia Jupiter, Sébrina Fray.

With the help of Santi's knowledge things go relatively smoothly until the police response arrives with every asset in the PD arsenal. As the heroin run's armorered car gets increasingly damaged, Mortelle performs multiple blocks and ambushes but still the police barely manages to stay on the armored car. The car breaks down in the tunnels, Cindy and Charli have one final shootout as they attempt to escape on foot.

Membership Changes - Late August 2022
Pre-Hangarounds: Cameron Blango, Jia Jupiter, Trina Bergström, Chris P. Winsmore, Tiffany Vanessa (who???).

Cameron's aspirations to join Mortelle would be cut short after a conflict with Mr. Ratchet (a Gulag Gang prospect) resulted in Cameron oceandumping Ratchet in defiance of Mortelle members telling him not to. The oceandump failed and fell back onto Mortelle, leading to GG hunting them. Given a final opportunity to salvage his relationship with Mortelle, Cameron instead chose to double down. Mortelle made things right with GG by delivering Cameron's body to them.

Pre-Hangarounds made Official Hangarounds: Sébrina Fray, Jia Jupiter.

Prospect promoted to Full Member: Charli Woods.

Charli's promotion ahead of senior prospect Cara Lynn would be a source of envy and depression for Cara, leading to her becoming more distant from Mortelle.

Mai's Wedding Day - September 04 2022
Prospect Mai Kazowski marries her long-time fiance (co-leader of Beach Crew/Mortelle poolboy) Larry Jonsen.

Before the wedding, Mai has a bachelorette party with her bridesmaids on the yacht near Del Perro Pier with drinking, drugs, dancing and a tarot reading by Windsong.

The marriage ceremony and wedding party was hosted by Plus One with coordinators Pact Nicely, Opal Hart and officiant Odessa Pearson.

The marriage ceremony took place in the Plus One storefront in Mirror Park. Larry's best man was Ophelia Dawson and groomsmen were Duece Smalls and Koa Davis. Mai's maid of honor was Charli Woods and bridesmaids were Cindy Tipton, Isla Reed and Jia Jupiter. Mai and Larry's daughter, Zia Anna, was the flower girl.

There were 20+ people in attendance including Nathaniel Johnson, Tuski Oppaimanko, Mira Whana hangarounds of Mortelle, Julio Thomas, Rod Long and others from HOA, multiple members of The Saints, Ava Deveraux, Babis Joestaridis, Charlotte Fairfield, Emmy Montez, Brett Maxwell, Janette Styles, etc.

The wedding reception was held on the beach of Pacific Bluffs Country Club with music, food, fireworks, a human sacrifice of Shafa to a campfire in honor of the newlyweds by Cindy and a drunken swimming race to the oil rig.

Matt Rhodes Shoe Incident - September 04 2022
Zia Anna was goofing around in front of the Pink Cage and managed to donk the windshield of a police car in a chase speeding west on Hawick. The police car, driven by Matt Rhodes and his partner, split off from the chase to attempt to detain Zia. Zia retreated into the Pink Cage, where flagged members of Mortelle were discussing plans for the promotional ceremony for Zia, and the police car followed.

An argument broke out between Mortelle and Rhodes concerning his entering the Cage, Cindy declining to have any discussion unless they backed out and Rhodes arguing the legalities of Mortelle's property rights to the Pink Cage. Eventually Rhodes and his partner relented, moving to the entrance of the Cage where the argument over property rights and the detainment of Zia for throwing a shoe somehow became an agreement to a fistfight between Zia and Rhodes. However, as Zia was won the fistfight, Rhodes' partner ganged up on her so the rest of Mortelle got involved and Charli Woods used her sledgehammer to down Rhodes' partner. Mai Kazowski stole Rhodes shoes for making such a big deal out of a thrown shoe.

When Rhodes got back to his feet he pulled his SCAR, called for backup and began shooting at everyone in the Pink Cage. Mai, Charli and Zia were downed. Cindy returned fire, shooting down Rhodes. As backup for the downed officers were approaching, Cindy moved her Coquette D10 to the entrance and attempted to get Charli in the car but a local shot her down. Zia's father/Mai's husband Larry Jonsen also attempted to retrieve bodies but responding officers began opening fire on his vehicle.

Zia's lizard, Queef, was unharmed.

Initiating War on PD - September 05 2022
Cindy is sick of the PDs lack of respect for Mortelle turf, the previous day's incident with Matt Rhodes being the tipping point. She tried to build that respect nonviolently but it's been made clear that they will only respect the turf when they fear it. Cindy announces to Mortelle the start of a war on the PD.

Cindy takes flagged members Zia Anna and Charli Woods on a hunting party while hangarounds Nathaniel Johnson and Jia Jupiter were backup/lookouts.

The first find of the hunting party was a lone Jerry Sweets whom they kidnap in his police Explorer and take to the roof of the Vinewood Plaza (one block north of Pink Cage). Cindy makes it clear to Jerry why Mortelle intend to harm him: that the PD has left them no option but violence to gain the PD's respect for Mortelle turf. Jerry uses his best motivational speaker rhetoric to try and convince Cindy to spare his life: 'change starts with one person' he says, promising to be that change and argues that Cindy's conclusion is wrong, using violence will have the opposite effect on PD's respect for Mortelle turf. 'Let me be wrong' is Cindy's reply before shooting him down. They escape in his Explorer, ditching it on Buen Vino Road where they blow it up.

With no police response on them, the hunting party gets a change of costume and goes back at it. Next they kidnap Marco Holliday with a ridealong and take them to the Raven Slaughterhouse. Cindy repeats her spiel. Much less eloquent than Jerry, Marco doesn't have much of argument or advice but begs to spare his and his ridealong's life. Cindy stabs the ridealong as a warning against joining the PD. Charli has been begging Cindy to let her feed her demon dagger (a cursed gift from Charli's boyfriend, Brett Maxwell) with cop blood so Cindy gives her the ok to stab Marco. Having been clued into what was going on by Jerry Sweets, the PD noticed Marco go missing and mounted a large response. Shortly after Marco is stabbed, they breach the Slaughterhouse as Cindy, Charli and Zia are trying to escape. They get into a shootout and all three are downed.

The Sirens - September 06 2022
One day, while lying in bed in her husband Blue's apartment unable to sleep, Cindy heard a strange noise coming from the pool in the pink cage. She decided to ease her curiosity, and threw on her pyjama pants and walked out the back door to look and see what the noise was. To her surprise, the pool was glowing a strange shade of pink, and the noise she heard was ominous singing. Upon further investigation, she heard a telepathic voice, and learned quickly that they were the sirens of the pool. They told her they've had enough of people neglecting their home, and would therefore decide if people were fit or not to reside in the pink cage. Cindy took this very seriously, and soon after, everyone in Mortelle had to be tested by the Sirens. To do this, they had get into the pool and see if the Sirens approved of them or not. If they approve, the person feels at peace and unharmed. If they disapprove, the person will be pulled to the bottom of the pool and become injured. So far, everyone in Mortelle has been approved by the Sirens.
Croc Joins the War - September 07 2022
With the war on PD having been initiated over Mortelle's inability to prevent police driving into the Pink Cage (something that could easily be solved by a lockable gate which most other gang turfs had at the time), Mortelle members went about constructing makeshift gates by stealing and placing buses at the Pink Cage's entrances.

Trooper Crocodile Steve arrived at the Pink Cage while responding to disturbance calls (locals snitching Mortelle's rowdy behavior and weapons) where he spotted the bus blocking the entrance, investigated it and spotted Zia Anna inside with a Class 2. Following the SOPs set by the C.U.M. Unit, Croc attempted to convince Mortelle members to turn over their Class 2s as he called in backup. Feeling invincible as a newly hired Trooper, Croc did not wait for his backup to arrive and attempted to solo breach the Pink Cage by climbing over the bus. He was promptly shot down by Sébrina Fray.

Croc's officer down alert brought the entire police force to the Pink Cage where a shootout ensued with multiple casualties on each side.

Being shot down for trying to press a gang on their own turf was not a new experience for Croc but as a newly hired Trooper and to be done by a gang he considered low-tier was an embarrassment he intended to rectify by force. Croc made Mortelle and the Pink Cage his newest fascination: getting himself informed on Mortelle's war with the PD, investigating the legal status of the Pink Cage property, making it a point to include the Pink Cage in his routine patrols and studying the area for advantageous shootout positions.

Troopers Join the War - September 09 2022
Finding Sébrina Fray in cuffs while responding to a call, Crocodile Steve formally declares his war on Mortelle to Sebrina.

Croc presents his mission to target Mortelle to his fellow Troopers. The troopers agree to backup Croc on his campaign and immediately go about sharing knowledge of the turf.

Cindy escapes Davis PD Twice - September 09/10 2022
Cindy along with Zia Anna is captured after Mortelle robs an ATM at the Legion Square Fleeca.

Cindy is being processed by Aleksandr November who takes her to Davis PD. Throughout processing Cindy gives November the Cindy Special, biting his nose, insulting his teeth, stomping his foot with her heels, siccing her hamster on him, gaslighting him and attacking him from her cell. (She also suggests they get tattoos together.) November fights back and ends up knocking Cindy out with a flashlight, when he gives her medical to get back up she takes a window of opportunity to escape her cell. Cindy finds the front door of Davis PD unlocked and manages to run about a block away when she hears November behind her calling for backup and decides to turn around and punch him, November also punches resulting in Cindy getting knocked out and recaptured.

Cindy continues to try to trick and coerce November into giving her opportunities to escape which he relents to, resulting in him uncuffing her and then shooting her when she predictably attempts to attack him and escape. Cindy vows to hunt him down for this.

The next day, Cindy hunts down November with Zia and Winter Sison. They find him in Mirror Park and hold him at gunpoint. Stealing his Explorer they take him to Blazing Tattoo where they forcibly tattoo his leg to match Cindy. Police arrive to November's aid but Mortelle manage to keep him captive as they flee in his Explorer.

They crash out in the Vinewood hills and flee on foot. Cindy, being chased by November and her-ex-husband's-dead-brother-puppeteering-her-ex-husband's-body Cody, leads them off a cliff where November gets knocked out but Cindy eventually gets caught by Cody. Zia and Winter also get caught.

Aside: This is the first occasion where Cody in his life as a cop has arrested Cindy, leading to the two talking about how much their lives have changed in the near year since Cody-or-Pez-or-Peter shot her. During the ride to MRPD, Cody gives Cindy the hypothetical of what her life would be like now if it hadn't happened, Cindy states she would probably still be with the BBMC.

After serving their prison sentence, Cindy decides to do another ATM robbery at the Legion Square Fleeca like the previous day. While Cindy, Zia and Winter rob the ATM (without a hostage) a lone LSPD officer arrives on scene and talks shit to Cindy so she takes him hostage. With a cop hostage now, tons respond to the robbery, including November. As they prepare to leave, Cindy and Zia decide to leave in their hostage's police car. Cindy negotiates for free passage and no spikestrips in exchange for the hostage which the negotiator agrees to but doesn't relay. As Cindy and Zia leave they are immediately magdumped. In the commotion Winter escapes in the car they had originally prepared to escape in.

After hospital, Cindy and Zia are taken to Davis PD for processing. November is having a hard time uncuffing Cindy through the fat Davis PD cell bars and so, despite everything that happened yesterday, decides to uncuff her from inside the cell. Cindy beats November until he's unconscious. Backup enters the cell attempting to taze Cindy, allowing her to escape the cell. And once again Davis PD's front door is left unlocked. After running two blocks away, Gabriel Navarro approaches on a motorbike expecting to just make fun of the situation when Cindy hopped on the back of his bike and encouraged him to escape. Gabriel successfully evades the police.

November issued a warrant for Cindy's arrest with an additional escaping custody charge. Cindy would go on to successfully evade that standard 3-day warrant to which November got permission to extend it to a 7-day warrant. Cindy would only barely fail to evade the extended warrant, being arrested on the final day.

Clips from run-ins with PD over the following 7-day warrant:
Day 2

PD War: Croc Presses Sender - September 14 2022
While patrolling the Pink Cage, Trooper Crocodile Steve spots hangarounds Sender Richards and Nathaniel Johnson at the Pink Cage skatepark. Croc drives into the turf and presses Sender to take down Mortelle tags, leading to Sender pulling a gun on Croc and getting shot down. Nate having witnessed the entire exchange doesn't backup Sender, instead driving off and escaping before backup arrived.

As backup arrives, Croc goes beyond a standard triage point, positioning his backup in shootout positions and declaring a mission of removing Mortelle tags.

Meanwhile, Nate has informed prospect Zia Anna of the situation. With police mostly in height advantage positions or posted at Sender's medical triage point on block 1, Zia along with hangies Winter Sison and Elizabeth Rose are able to waltz into the Pink Cage and observe the situation up close. Zia presses the cops holding positions at the Pink Cage and comes to the realization that the situation is bigger than a triage point. She has Winter and Elizabeth distract police while she sneaks away.

With Elizabeth needing medical from the distraction and the long length of time medical had been delayed for Sender, other responding officers advise Croc away from his tag removal mission and generally consider Mortelle to not be a threat that requires so many advantageous shooting positions. Croc relents and comes down from his roof to process the scene and give the ok for medical to enter.

Zia goes to the Casino to pick up an Uzi from the prospect hotel stash. Nate, who is hidden surveying the triage point, advises Zia that there is no hope against the amount of police on scene and that it's not worth engaging. Zia pulls rank on Nate, ordering him to defend the turf. Nate leaves his hiding spot and does as ordered, shooting down Croc and two others before being shot down. Zia follows suit, sneaking into the triage and shooting down another. Mortelle were in high spirits from successfully sending Croc to the hospital.

PD War: Tagging the Cage - September 16 2022
Croc starts tagging the Pink Cage for PD gang and will continue to do so until the end of the war.
PD War: Sending Messages - September 18 2022
PD patrolling the Pink Cage call in Class 2s at the skate park. Trying to not get surrounded and shot down like previous encounters, Cindy makes the call for everyone to scatter.

Crocodile Steve assists in the chase, leading him to a shootout with Mai Kazowski.

Cindy escapes but the PD decide to hold down the Pink Cage, undermining the reason Cindy made the call to scatter in the first place. Frustrated by the PDs tactics, Cindy makes the call for a send-a-message shootout where the rest of Mortelle goes down.

Croc takes Mai to the MRPD interrogation room during processing and attempts to pressure her to convince Cindy to surrender the war. Mai is unfazed.

PD War: Oxy Patrol - September 19 2022
Cindy, Cindy's boyfriend Santiago Madrid, Charli Woods, Charli's boyfriend Brett Maxwell and Brett's friends Shafa and OP are hanging out at the Pink Cage skatepark entrance when an officer, completely unaware of Mortelle's war with the PD, ignores the Mortelle tags and mindlessly uses the Pink Cage oxy alley as a shortcut during normal patrol running into them, Cindy immediately presses him with a Class 1. The officer retreats, reversing away, and calls in the gun. Cindy makes the call for everyone to dip from the Cage.

One cop chases down the Mootel (Mortelle's pink cowprint Rebla) being driven by Santi with passengers Cindy and Trina Bergström.

Charli escapes with Sébrina Fray and are chased until their car is boxed in the alleys behind the Weazel Dorset. Charl and Sebrina split up into two footchases with one officer each. Sebrina shoots down her chasing officer and hides while Charli gets picked up by the Mootel. Santi crashes the Mootel at Great Ocean Highway Gas Station and all four run away on foot.

Cindy runs on foot to Vespucci Beach chased by multiple vehicle units, a motor unit and air 1. With The majority of the police latching on to Cindy, Charli is able to escape and steal a motorbike and attempts to pick up Cindy but gets stopped by a volleyball net.

Cindy is eventually captured on the beach. She expresses her exasperation to the arresting officers with how the PD has been baiting aggression from Mortelle and how the past two weeks of warring them has not changed their behavior. Cindy is fed up. Her complaints gain the attention of command members Tessa Lamb, Aaron Byson and Jeffrey Bundy.

PD War: Peace Talk with Croc - September 24 2022
While choosing to respond to low priority pings, Croc gets pinged to the Pink Cage for a fistfight and decides to spin the block where he finds some of the Mortelle girls roughhousing, throwing shoes at each other. After being accosted by Charli, Cindy, Zia and others Croc decides to engage Cindy in peace talks.

Cindy discusses Mortelle's issues with police intruding on their turf. The war having carried on for the entire month with the police seemingly having learned nothing has left Cindy exasperated and comes into negotiations fully expecting a high price given the last time she discussed peace with Croc he wanted her to surrender herself.

Croc discusses a desire to no longer see Mortelle with class 2 weapons and stop their attacks on officers. Having spent his first month as an SASP Trooper instigating many conflicts, Croc saw this as an opportunity to claim the ending of a conflict which would be good for curtailing his reputation as a troublemaker. Cindy and Croc walk off alone to survey the turf during which he negotiates to end aggressions from his department and to spread the word within the PD to respect the boundaries of Mortelle's turf, no longer treating the Pink Cage as a public space, in exchange for the removal of the 'Trespassers Will Be Shot' warnings on Mortelle signage.

Cindy isn't ecstatic to end a signage tradition she had carried on since her days of tagging the Billabong as a BBMC hangaround but it's a much lighter term than she had expected for the promise of everything she wanted from the war. The talk ends with Cindy telling Croc she would take his terms to Mortelle membership for a decision but expects it will be agreed to.

Returning to the group they find officers in a huge fistfight with Mortelle and others which Croc breaks up by threatening to shoot the next person to attack an officer. Aleksandr November sheepishly admits to having started the fistfight jokingly with the group. November chimes in that he's noticed cadets instigating serious conflicts on Mortelle turf, to which Cindy advises him to give them the story of how he got his thigh tattoo.

There was no formal agreement or PD announcements from this talk but afterwards Mortelle stopped using the 'Trespassers Will Be Shot' signage and PD aggression for one reason or another died down.

Membership Changes - September 2022
During this month there was a push to end the glut of unofficial 'Pre' Hangarounds. Mortelle also began using the myth of the Pink Cage pool's Sirens for promotional ceremonies.

Pre-Hangarounds: Mira Whana, Nathaniel Johnson.

Pre-Hangarounds made official Hangarounds: Mira Whana, Winter Sison, Nathaniel Johnson, Chris P. Winsmore, Elizabeth Rose.

Nate began hanging around through his longtime friendship with Charli Woods. Originally intending to be a clean person for Mortelle, he owns the Prospects Casino Hotel stash. After making his intentions to join Mortelle clear and playing arcade with Cindy, Nate was taken on as a hangaround and banned from being a clean person due to his skills as a shooter.

Hangarounds promoted to Prospect: Zia Anna, Sébrina Fray.

In a ceremony in which Zia was tricked into believing her alien parents were coming to retrieve her from earth, Zia was banana'd into Mortelle.

Sebrina was tasked with wrestling a pig to get her flag. The pig died.

Membership Changes - October 2022
Hangarounds: Trina Bergström, Violet Snowe, Eleanor West.

Violet started hanging around Mortelle while tagging along with her friend Ryder Vert who seemed to be attempting to join Mortelle but was likely associating himself to investigate Mortelle in regards to the disappearance of Larry Jonsen. (Larry was co-leader of Beach Crew alongside Ryder's sister Rue Minmi,) After learning that Ryder had insinuated that Mai Kazowski murdered Larry, Cindy stabbed Ryder in Mai's defense, Violet decided to join Mortelle shortly after witnessing this.

After about three months hanging around Mortelle (and two months after being removed as a hangaround for R.U.S.T) Eleanor decided to take up the open invitation to become an official hangaround. Her entry connections to Mortelle were the Charli Woods friend group.

Dropped Hangarounds: Carmella Corset, Jupiter Adams, Trina Bergström. Mira Whana.

Carmella and her sister Jupiter had long stopped showing up as hangarounds before being culled. Carmella was actively ducking Mortelle, having already personally given up on being a hangaround but too sheepish to resign.

Trina returned to the city after a long absence and through her old friendship with Cindy was quickly brought into Mortelle. Not long after becoming a hangaround, The Highwayman began haunting Cindy after an altercation with him where Trina was "marked for death" she reported the incident to the police, including name dropping Cindy. She was then stabbed for snitching by Cindy in front of the other hangarounds and dumped at the observatory. The mark of death on Trina was an attempt by The Highwayman to hold her hostage as leverage to get Cindy to do his bidding, with this leverage removed he instead announced all of Mortelle was marked for death.

Mira left on good terms after making the decision that gang life wasn't for her... later was found out to be disrespecting Cindy and Mortelle via her friendship with hangaround Winter Sison. Cindy gave Winter the leeway to handle the reprisal for her disrespect as she saw fit. Winter did nothing.

War with Venus Fly Traps - October 17-November 10 2022
In an incident a month prior when The Bimbos (VFT) and Sparky Kane (MDM/Mortelle honorary) were making diss records towards each other (Sparky's Bimbos disstrack "Medusa" doubles as a Mortelle anthem with it's hook about Charli Woods.) During a flurry of twitter beef about the disstracks, The Bimbos also dissed Cindy's girlfriend Aubrey Adams which directly pulled Cindy into the twitter beef. Throughout that day Cindy was advertising her newly gained business Happy Yoga and was doing Yoga lessons at Wu-Chang Records during which she was accosted by members of The Bimbos. This led to an argument outside of Wu-Chang Records in which Cindy shot down two of The Bimbos for disrespecting her and then a shootout broke out between Mortelle and VFT. There was talk of war happening then, however when Cindy called for war terms VFT immediately forfeited agreeing to terms of buying 10 yoga lessons. Behind the scenes, VFT members did not have a consensus on forfeiting so tensions remained and payment was never made,

Cindy crashed into VFT leader Zoe Marie on the railroad tracks near Old Bennys. After some light dissing from both sides Zoe chose to escalate to freestyling a disstrack in which she called Mortelle a "flop" and was promptly shot down by Cindy. (Rules had recently been codified in Mortelle to not allow any disrespect to Mortelle go unanswered no matter the ramifications.) Soon after VFT began ambushing and kidnapping Mortelle.

With all signs pointing to this being a war, Cindy attempted to set war terms but ran into an issue of no one on VFTs side willing or able to agree to terms (likely due to the internal conflict caused by the previous incident's terms discussion). Meanwhile, Mortelle hunting attempts were being consistently blocked by VFT members hiding behind the locked doors of Wu-Chang Records and when they did come out they were often found in the company of non-VFT friends from Wu-Chang.

After hunts resulting in Wu-Chang employees being shot, VFT finally agreed to set war terms: these included wearing an identifiable color, only stealing war supplies and not hunting when the other side has only one awake. Cindy attempted to have a war term in which they would not lock themselves in Wu-Chang but VFT never agreed to that, instead claiming it never happened when more than one was awake. A few shootouts happened under these terms but overall the war came to a standstill as a difficult train limited the times where Mortelle and VFT both had numbers to fight and often when they did both have numbers was when VFT were in Wu-Chang. Some VFT members began breaking the war term preventing hunting lone Mortelle. Mortelle members responded in kind which led to further breaks in war terms by VFT and an ocean dumping of Mortelle members for unknown reasons.

Cindy was fed up with entire situation when she further learned that a gun shortage was coming that would be spiking prices for guns, making an already annoying war into an excessive money sink. A meeting was called in which Cindy intended to simply have the war be cut off with no win nor loss nor cost for either side. VFT refused to end the war without a winner, demanding a Mortelle surrender to end the war. Cindy refused and so the war continued but with a renewed commitment to upholding war terms.

Cindy got sick. Charli and Blue were MIA. The train worsened. What little war still happened was entirely in the hands of prospects and hangarounds, majority of whom were experiencing their very first war. Eventually, Cindy made the call (from outside the city) that if the people waking up wanted to surrender they were allowed to. Charli made a rare appearance to officiate a surrender to VFT in which VFT had them tweet out the loss and then played a recently released Mortelle/Cindy disstrack (which some of Mortelle danced to - oof).

Membership Changes - November 2022
Lost Hangaround: Violet Snowe

Left on generally good terms but cited her feeling as though Mortelle no longer felt like a gang (difficulties with the train and multiple MIA members having dramatically reduced numbers) and felt personally disliked by hangarounds Chris Winsmore, Jia Jupiter and prospect Sébrina Fray. In the leadup to her exit, Violet expressed in confidence to Mai Kazowski that she wanted to possibly join the PD, feeling as though she has exhausted everything there is to experience in crime, and at the time being in a secret relationship with Trooper Brittany Angel, She would not join the PD and her relationship with Angel would end after which she would return to gang life by joining Yokai.

Lost OG: Mami "Blue" Ko

Blue chose to "retire" from Mortelle stating that she felt guilty for being consistently absent and considered herself a poor fit for high command of a gang. After this decision Blue was consistently around doing gang shit with her boyfriend Mike Smoore (a member of R.U.S.T.) and with friends in the HOA and would occasionally provide advice to Mortelle Prospects who were effectively running Mortelle while Cindy and Charli Woods were long absent. In September 2023 Blue would become a hangaround for HOA.

Membership Changes - Late December 2022-Mid January 2023
Lost Prospect: Cara Lynn

Following the loss of their brutal turf war with Royal Mafia, the confidence of Mortelle's OGs and leadership were shaken, leading to some drastic measures being considered to keep Mortelle going such as foregoing turf altogether. Cara put on a brave and loyal front to Mortelle but in private with her closest friends and family she began feeling out an exit strategy to Mortelle's closest ally at the time, the Vagos. Cindy, being very experienced in the feeling of people slipping away, picked up on Cara's vibe and pulled her aside during the post-war strategy meeting to convince her to stay. This convincing was successful but temporary, Cara's engagement with Mortelle waned over time and as others progressed ahead of her she resorted to jealousy and then to disappearing from the city altogether. It would be months later when she would start making appearances again, seemingly refreshed and ready to build up Mortelle but after a huge inner turmoil gutted the Vagos, Cara jumped on the opportunity to be part of their rebuild. Fearing the outcome of doing it in person, she texted her resignation to Cindy.

Dropped Hangarounds: Elizabeth Rose and Nathaniel Johnson.

Elizabeth was rumored to have been the source of shittalking which was cited as reason a prospective hangaround decided to not pursue Mortelle. While these rumors were being investigated Elizabeth quit Mortelle by text message to prospect Mai Kazowski. In a meeting she denied all the claims against her. With heavy suspicions but no strong evidence to disprove Elizabeth's denial, Mai decided against a violent reprisal but banned her from interacting with Mortelle.

The final months of Nate's life in Mortelle were constant contradiction, he would bemoan lack of initiative for criminal activity then turn down crime to do Dodo, bemoan a lack of gang mentality then be unwilling to backup the gang in confrontations. The final contradiction was a promise to Cindy to take leadership in bettering Mortelle while she was away on a trip. Nate openly spoke in front of prospect Sébrina Fray of plans to convince multiple hangarounds as well as prospect Zia Anna to leave Mortelle with him. Hours before Cindy would return from her trip, Mai with information and council from Sebrina and Blue took it upon herself to remove Nate from Mortelle by stabbing him and dumping his body at the port-a-pottys near the Park Ranger Station. On her return, Cindy was informed of what took place and agreed with the judgement. Nate would continue to hold a grudge, later trying to convince hangaround Winter Sison to leave and witnessed by Cindy's boyfriend Santiago Madrid shittalking Mortelle to Seaside.

Membership Changes - February 2023
During this month Cindy, who had been largely absent for the previous 3 months, made it a point to appear weekly to officiate promotions on the advice of Mai, who was leading the gang in her absence.

Hangarounds: Charlotte Greene, Aries King, Opal Hart.

Hangarounds promoted to Prospects: Winter Sison, Sender Richards.

Winter was wedded into the rank of prospect at the church in Rockford Hills. Cindy officiated.

Sender was jumped into prospect after a Mortelle bicycle race around Legion Square. Sender was the first (and only) man to receive a flag in Mortelle.

Prospects promoted to Full Members: Mai Kazowski, Sébrina Fray.

Lost Hangaround: Isla Reed.

Membership Changes - March 2023
Lost Hangaround: Charlotte Greene

Charlie was poached by The Saints.

Hangarounds promoted to Prospects: Tsuki Oppaimanko

During a rare and short Tsuki appearance Mai took the opportunity to promote her with a simple jumping in ceremony.

Appointed of Vice Milfè: Mai Kazowski

The role so cursed that anyone even thought of for this position would immediately disappear was finally given to someone... Mortelle would disband 36 days later.

Appointed to High Command: Sébrina Fray

The ranks of "Prospect" and "Full Member" were dissolved and combined into a single "Member" rank, effectively abolishing ranks in Mortelle.

Mortelle Disbands - April 15 2023
❝I hate having to hate everyone that I care about.❞-Cindy on removing Mortelle's traitors

In the week prior to Mortelle's disbanding, members Zia Anna, Winter Sison and Sébrina Fray had begun discussing a desire to leave Mortelle for reasons related to inactivity and purposelessness. Winter put a week deadline on this, saying to the other two that she would leave Mortelle if someone didn't start providing leadership/direction/camaraderie. This declaration did not leave the trio.

Despite the deadline, Winter continued the behavior she had always maintained with Mortelle, only seeking to do things with the group after exhausting activity with all other relations and so the week passed without her doing anything Mortelle related.

Zia, being best friends with Winter decided she would exit with her at the deadline and began thinking about her future. Zia started approaching VFT as her desired new gang. As the deadline neared, Zia preemptively sold her Pink Cage apartment.

Before Winter can follow through on her deadline exit, Zia has a discussion with Sebrina in which she admits that she asked leader of VFT, Zoe Marie, to allow her to become a VFT hangaround. Hearing this Sebrina, as high command, immediately kicks Zia from Mortelle. Learning this, Winter feels compelled to follow through with her exit plans ahead of schedule. Winter meets with Sebrina and resigns from Mortelle.

Vice Milfe Mai Kazowski wakes up and hears the news from Sebrina. In shock, Mai wants to hear it from her daughter, Zia, and Winter's own mouths and calls them back to the Pink Cage. Winter and Zia return and begin recounting their exits for her. El Milfe Cindy Tipton arrives. Everyone is in shock having not seen Cindy in such a long time. Winter and Zia nervously recount their exits for Mai and Cindy.

Cindy has Mai and Sebrina assemble in 'The Office' (a difficult to reach balcony that overlooks the Pink Cage) for a meeting. Cindy is downtrodden while examining the losses, questioning why Mortelle was continuing to bleed members and one as ingrained as Zia. Having thought previous losses to be a result of her harsh leadership, Mai's more open leadership style not altering this trajectory leaves Cindy questioning what changes they could even make at this point to turn the gang around. The topic of the meeting turns to the question of disbanding.

Being the one to push the possibility into the discussion, Cindy quite obviously wants to disband but avoids outright saying it's her position, instead placing it in the hands of Mai and Sebrina, Mai openly wants to continue Mortelle and keep trying but being empathetic to Cindy's feelings and deferential to Cindy's position as leader and creator of Mortelle follows Cindy's position of putting the decision in other's hands. Sebrina is left holding the decision and ultimately makes the decision to disband (a decision made easier by her own plans to leave Mortelle that she had not shared with Cindy or Mai). With Sebrina's deciding vote, Cindy affirms Mortelle's disbanding.

Mortelle's flagged membership at disbanding was: Cindy Tipton, Mai Kazowski, Charli Woods, Sébrina Fray, Sender Richards, Tsuki Oppaimanko.

Immediate Aftermath - April 15-20 2023
Not wanting the disbanding to become drama, Cindy's last order as El Milfe to Mai and Sebrina is to keep the information of the disbanding quiet, there would be no public announcements and the information should only be divulged to trusted people.

Cindy informs OG Blue of Mortelle disbanding and hangs out with her for the rest of the night, driving around and meeting with old friends at the Liquid Library.

Sebrina, with Mai's approval, informs Winter and Zia of the disbanding (and the desire for secrecy).

Despite being told to keep it hush, Winter quickly leaks info to her boyfriend Kevin Ram, Mortelle hangaround Aries King, friend Sunny Moonstar, brother Benji Ramos, friend OP, friend Fredo Sanchez and generally starts treating the disbanding as public info within hours.

Sunny Moonstar learning this information immediately starts trying to recruit his friends Winter and Zia for a new gang he was developing. He also wants to take the Pink Cage as turf for that gang and asks Winter if she would care if he hunts/hurts the now ex-Mortelle members who still live in the Pink Cage to convince them to leave - Winter tells him that she doesn't care. In the days following, Sunny ultimately does not take any violent actions but does try to peaceably take the turf, using his friendship with Blue's son Zak Barns to facilitate a discussion with Blue and Cindy. This wouldn't have gone easy for him in any case because the disbanding secret being blown already was not putting Cindy in a good mood for gang politics discussions but it became a hard-no before the meeting even took place when Blue and Cindy learned of Sunny having been a state's witness against Chang Gang (the same type of snitching that got OG Linda Maridan kicked from Mortelle).

Charli arrives back in the city the day after the disbanding and meets with Cindy, Blue and Mortelle honorary Sparky Kane discussing the future. Charli is depressed from the disbanding and ends up abandoning the city once again.

As it becomes quickly apparent to Zia that VFT are not going to welcome her and reflecting on the impulsiveness of the decisions she made and their snowballing into Mortelle's disbanding, Zia starts to heavily regret her decisions over the previous week. Winter also begins to have nostalgic regrets, constantly bringing up old memories of Mortelle and repping herself as Mortelle more than she had in months. In their shared regret, Winter and Zia toy around with the idea of restarting Mortelle and in episodes of hyperactivity claim publicly to be restarting Mortelle (Seaside and VFT being witnesses and collaborators to this) but when they came down from their high would swear each other to secrecy on these declarations, realizing how disrespectful these actions would be viewed and fearing Cindy might catch wind of it.

Sebrina is also feeling regret in the days after the disbanding and while hanging out with Mai (who is taking steps to move on, focusing on decorating and business) can't help herself from repeatedly proposing that they restart Mortelle.

Aftermath and Epilogue
-The Turf-

Early in the aftermath of the disbanding it was thought that The Hidden were attempting to takeover the turf as they were spotted occupying the Pink Cage and the next day a Hidden spray was above the Pink Cage pool. The occupation however was a misunderstanding and the spray was put up by Sébrina Fray attempting to stir drama on that misunderstanding.

In early June, new gang 818 took over Block 1. 818's connections to Mortelle's legacy includes getting into a beef with Winter Sison, having Aries King as a hangaround and being welcomed as neighbors by Mai Kazowski who often hung out with them while accompanying Aries. They would not remain long, disbanding due to a leadership crisis in mid-July.

For a short period during 818's stay, a little known gang named Ghost took over the Pink Cage (shortly after having been forced out of old Beach Crew motel by the BBMC). The dozen-or-so Ghost members made a point of both intimidating and being gracious with 818 to affirm their position in the neighborhood, to which 818 recognized them as rightful owners of the Pink Cage, only for them to disappear within a week.

-Sebrina-

In the early days after the disband Sebrina would hang out with Mai, helping with work on their joint business, Cloud 9. Later as Mai drifted away from her (due to spending time with Aries King and doing decorating and music work) Sebrina increasingly relied on her friendship with Mai's ex-fiance, Sylvain Bossé, With Sylvain's influence Sebrina started doing much more personal crime, repeatedly robbing Winter and Zia Anna (who were building a weapons trafficking business together) and embezzling from Cloud 9. Becoming even further isolated from these actions, making money got tougher for Sebrina, she fell into debt and her cars got locked down under asset fees. The isolation and poverty would end up causing Sebrina to escape the city.

-Mai-

After the disbanding, Mai put all of her focus and energy into business. Developing her spa storefront Cloud 9, continuing her work for Plus One and doing a prolific amount of decorating contracts for Morph Interiors. Mai's efforts would quickly balloon her finances into the millions.

Mai, Aries King and Sevyn Figurez would create and perform an original song for the May 9th grand opening of the Lucky Plucker, from that they would form the rap group Black Barbies and routinely release new music and perform at Wu-Chang Records events.

Under the influence of Aries and Sevyn, Mai would rejoin gang life, becoming a hangaround of the South Side Vyxens. The Vyxens was formed in the ashes of 818, At the time of Mai joining, South Side Vyxens held old O-Block on Covenant Ave (the former turf of The Blocks and Oreo Gang) with the blessing of The Ballas. During this time Mai would become romantically involved with Balla Kai Alexander. South Side Vyxens would become just Vyxens after The Angels decided that they wanted Covenant and pushed them out, fighting both the Vyxens and the Ballas to do so.

Mai would become a full member of the Vyxens and use her wealth to purchase and own The Vyxens new turf, a mansion just south of Clean Manor and beside old Clown Manor/old BCF Manor, the same mansion where Mortelle's first formative meetings took place.

-Charli-

After her brief reappearance, the day after the disbanding, Charli would not return to the city again until September. According to her boyfriend, Brett Maxwell, who returned to the city at the same time, Charli was accompanying him on his world tour (performing in dirty alleys everywhere and teaching demonic incantations to Russian children).

Charli returned to living at the Pink Cage and was routinely wistful and nostalgic for Mortelle as well as continuously feeling purposeless without a gang to build. She offered gang workshops to new all-female gang/Seaside-street team The Sirens (which Winter is an OG of) as well as The Vyxens. Both gangs seem interested in recruiting Charli. She also adopted Ash Lott as her crim-baby, training him on crime, law, driving and gang-mentality.

After a night o her dreams being tormented by the Pink Cage sirens, Charli decided to perform the old Mortelle ritual of baiting the Pink Cage pool with a sacrifice. She would use Issa Belle and Alana Reviews of The Sirens who swam unharmed.

Lonely and poor, Charli would end up getting a job at The Lucky Plucker and joined their employees on house robberies. She also got hired as a bartender to the reopening Bahama Mamas (under management of Winter) but likely never worked there as, soon after completing training, she once again went missing from the city.

-Cindy-

In the hours after Mortelle disbanding, as Cindy made her existence public via Twatter, she was immediately approached by Finley Milton of the BBMC whose poaching sixth sense was tingling. She would be invited by the BBMC to do her first oilrig the following days. Successfully completing the heist, her son Edbert Ropeburn would donate his cut to hers to help get her out of debt.

Not wanting to wake up at the Pink Cage and having lost her house and S+ that was under ex-boyfriend Santiago Madrid's name while she was away, Cindy would end up moving in with her uncle Julio Thomas in Mirror Park and using regularly driving his cars. Julio also brought her into the HOA's weapon sales operation he managed but Cindy never made use of this.

Cindy would get back into the swing of crime with weed runs and bank heists that ex-Mortelle members would routinely support her on. Cindy convinced Winter to let her use her warehouse for storage.

In the weeks after the disbanding she would start routinely hanging out with the BBMC, specifically to chill with her bestie (and Mortelle co-founder) Stevie McQueen, rekindle a friendship with former Mortelle member Ellie Fletch and catch moments with her son Edbert. She was also having a good time getting to know the new crop of BBMC, becoming quick friends with prospects Peter Percocet and Flops Rainman and hangaround Suki Wright. This led to BBMC Prime Minister Barry Benson assuming Cindy had returned as a hangaround when the topic had not been brought up by anyone.

While reconnecting with old friend Kirk Jerkems, Cindy witnessed Stumbles Fumbles attack Barry Benson in the notorious First-Blow-Absorbed incident which sparked a BBMC/Clowns conflict. Cindy tries to keep herself an uninvolved third-party but Barry is suspicious of her actions and later Kirk attempts to use her as leverage against the BBMC. These incidents and learning of the history she had missed between the Clowns and BBMC (specifically Kirk dumping Finn in acid during their previous war) and the final straw of Kirk insulting of Cindy's son led to Cindy ending her friendship with Kirk. Cindy downed Kirk and, after he refused to recant his insults on Edbert, tried to deliver him to the BBMC but interference from the police at the direction of Randy Wrangler prevented that. Barry's suspicions of Cindy being a clown sympathizer were never assuaged.

Edbert gifted Cindy the money to purchase a house in Vespucci beside The Billabong. This would be the first and only land property Cindy ever owned under her name. She made Ed a sick racing car bed and gave keys to Ed, Blue and Luis Fernandez of the HOA (so she could share his G-Wagon). Cindy expected her old friends, the working-girl of Vespucci, to welcome her back but they were not friendly to her return and a rivalry began.

Being incompatible with solo-life and with so many connections and shared history/values with the BBMC, Cindy decided to try and join BBMC once again. Telling Ed of her intentions, he promised to get her a hangaround position and assured her that with her experience in and out of the BBMC she wouldn't be a hangaround for long. Cindy and Aubrey Adams broke up so that Aubrey could be Cindy's jacket (not making the Pez Speedwagon mistake again). Ed's promise that she wouldn't be a hangaround for long is immediately crushed by Barry Benson conveying that he doesn't trust ex-hangarounds like Cindy and implies it would take her longer than others. Ed doesn't attempt to fight Barry on this and doesn't share Barry's mentality with Cindy.

As a BBMC hangaround, Cindy revitalized meth pushing in Vespucci as a means of making money, training fresh BBMC hangies/prospects on loookout practices and with the purpose of stealing clients from the working girls in her ongoing beef.

Cindy also grew horns and began a scamming/hitman operation known as DEMON CORP. Cindy and Aubrey kidnapped some people and convince them to become cultist operatives of DEMON CORP.

Aubrey just being a goofball dresses up as a unicorn and is being handlered by Flops until he gets sick of the job and passes it off to Cindy who immediately attempts to sell her. Cindy successfully sells unicorn-Aubrey to Judge Siobhan Fitzpatrick. Soon after the sale a car strikes Aubrey in the road and Cindy repossesses the unicorn for negligence. Fitzpatrick and her law friends promise to sue Cindy and there is a civil case against her on the docket by the next day. Cindy hops on a yacht and dips the city for months, she returns when her lawsuit court date is scheduled but the case doesn't happen. Aubrey asks Cindy if she's quit being a hangaround, Cindy says she will keep trying then promptly jumps back on a boat. Cindy never returned.

Current Members Roster[]

Former Members and Hangarounds
*In order of date left.
  • Olivia Garcia - Rank: Founding Wifey - Quickly backed out of Mortelle when the project was met with resistance by BBMC High Command before leaving the club. Became an Old Lady for the Lost MC, but died a week later in a fiery gas station explosion on Mar. 10, 2022.
  • Rory Borealis - Rank: Founding Wifey - Killed by Balla Omar "O-Dogg" Andrews while hanging out with her boyfriend and Vago Santiago Madrid during Ballas/Vagos hostilities.
  • Stevie McQueen - Rank: Co-Founder - Officially ended ties to Mortelle when Cindy Tipton left BBMC and Mortelle transitioned from a street team to a gang.
  • Vera Tea - Rank: Founding Wifey - Backed out of Mortelle as it transitioned from street team to gang as she was already a hangaround for the Vagos.
  • Lily Frost - Rank: Sidechick - Poached by Asher Brown to become a member of The Collective Family.
  • Melody Raven - Rank: Sidechick - Followed Lily Frost to become a member of The Collective Family.
  • Elizabeth Byrne - Rank: Founding Wifey - After serving 100 years in prison for a Serial Assaults and Killings case, Liz returned to a Mortelle that had transitioned from heist group to gang in her absence and was being approached by multiple bigger gangs with poaching offers. She kept Mortelle at arm's length as she weighed up offers from HOA and BBMC. On behalf of BBMC she was being courted by specifically Cindy's ex-husband and active tormentor (making regular threats to harm Mortelle, friends, family to Cindy), Pez Speedwagon, who offered Liz become his hangaround. She took up Pez's offer despite being fully aware of Cindy's past with Pez.
  • Alexandra Yang - Rank: Hangaround- Resigned after being told that members of C.B.P.D. were no longer allowed to hold any gang affiliations.
  • Reini Melrakki - Rank: Hangaround - Resigned because she considered herself incapable of avoiding triggering gang conflict with BBMC. Immediately after became engaged to Cindy Tipton's son and BBMC prospect Edbert Ropeburn. Soon after was murdered by an enemy from Ed's past.
  • Maia Berkeley - Rank: Hangaround - Kicked out for her unwillingness to put the gang before her business.
  • Marie Ortiz - Rank: Full Member - Officially left to attempt to become a member of the Angels. Unofficially left to follow boyfriend Meelo Graves in becoming a hangaround of The Mandem.
  • Ellie Fletch - Rank: Full Member - Poached by Jesse Reed (working on behalf of Pez Speedwagon's campaign to undermine Mortelle) to become a hangaround of the BBMC through weeks of bonding at Dodo Logistics. In the lead up to her exit, Ellie and Jesse were each backup to a meeting between Cindy and Pez (or Cody or The Highwayman) in which Jesse watched Cindy through a sniper scope and Ellie was left to drag Cindy's body to Pillbox after Pez shot her and dropped her off a suspension bridge. Ellie's vibes from that point on were noticeably off to Cindy which led to an incident during the Aztecas war where Cindy thought one of the Aztecas attacking her might have been Ellie betraying Mortelle. Cindy opening up to Ellie with this emotional insecurity was immediately leveraged by Ellie as a justification for leaving Mortelle.
  • Cassie Miller - Rank: Hangaround - Resigned after an extended period of neglecting hangaround duties.
  • Riley Carter - Rank: Non-Prospect - After months of supporting Mortelle as weapon supplier and personal advisor to Cindy Tipton, Riley was in the process of being brought into Mortelle as an instant prospect. But on her very first day hanging around, before she could be flagged, she overstepped her position repeatedly and disrespected Cindy publicly, escalating to Cindy shooting Riley down as punishment. Riley then threatened conflict with Mortelle, ending any chance of reconciliation.
  • Ethyl Winkelfiddle - Rank: Hangaround - Resigned after an extended period of neglecting hangaround duties.
  • Janette Styles - Rank: Hangaround - Poached by Royal Mafia during a ceasefire in the turf war against Royal Mafia. Janette continued to be a Mortelle hangaround after Royal Mafia ended the ceasefire, acting as a double-agent until suspicious actions outed her as a traitor. In conversations with Charli Woods and Mai Kazowski following the war she expressed the reasoning of her betrayal through her utilitarian mentality. This mentality would see her be kicked out of RM for snitching to police during a traffic stop to try to get out of being kidnapped.
  • Valentine Dalla - Rank: Hangaround - Resigned after an extended period of neglecting hangaround duties.
  • Pinky Peppers (P9141125-P5161651819) - Rank: Hangaround - After enacting her "friend removal protocol" on Janette Styles, Janette was reclassified by Pinky to be her "sister". Given the past betrayal and continued malicious behavior against Mortelle by Janette, Cindy gave Pinky an ultimatum of choosing Mortelle or Janette.
  • Natalie Dabosse - Rank: Hangaround - Dropped for repeated slip-ups in regards to gang mentality. At the time of her removal, Natalie was the longest serving non-OG member of Mortelle, having been a hangaround for about seven months.
  • Lillia Robin - Rank: Hangaround - After being the only Mortelle member around for the EU hours, Lillia was feeling alone and not able to provide for the gang. Lillia had a meeting with Cindy and Blue about leaving Mortelle and they all came to an agreement that it was best for Lillia to move on. She still loves the gang and wished everyone well.
  • Joslynn Prim - Rank: Hangaround - Dropped after an extended period of neglecting hangaround duties.
  • Linda Maridan - Rank: OG Member - While on trial for the murder of Wesley Arnold Linda gave a complete unfiltered account of events while on the stand. This led to her being called a snitch in court by her co-defendant Mel Rickenbacker. All available Mortelle voted to remove Linda from the gang while she was still in the courtroom, in hopes of preventing the snitch tag being attached to Mortelle. Cindy hoped there would be opportunity for reconciliation with Linda, but when they met in prison after the trial, Linda stabbed Cindy and Charli before she was subdued by a Molotov thrown by Amelia Waters. Linda died soon after in the prison infirmary.
  • Carmella Corset - Rank: Hangaround - Dropped after an extended period of neglecting hangaround duties.
  • Jupiter Adams - Rank: Hangaround - Dropped after an extended period of neglecting hangaround duties.
  • Trina Bergström - Rank: Hangaround - Snitched by talking to cops about an altercation with The Highwayman, including name dropping Cindy. She was then stabbed by Cindy in front of the other hangarounds and dumped at the observatory. The altercation with The Highwayman was one in which Trina had been marked for death by him in an attempt to leverage her life to get Cindy to do his bidding, with this leverage removed he instead announced all of Mortelle was marked for death.
  • Mira Whana - Rank: Hangaround - Left on good terms after making the decision that gang life wasn't for her... later was found to be disrespecting Cindy and Mortelle via her friendship with hangaround Winter Sison. Cindy gave Winter the leeway to handle the reprisal for her disrespect as she saw fit. Winter did nothing.
  • Mami "Blue" Ko - Rank: OG Member - Chose to leave stating she felt guilty for being consistently absent and considered herself a poor fit for high command of a gang.
  • Violet Snowe - Rank: Hangaround - Left on generally good terms but cited her feeling as though Mortelle no longer felt like a gang (difficulties with the train and multiple MIA members having dramatically reduced numbers) and felt personally disliked by hangarounds Chris Winsmore, Jia Jupiter and prospect Sébrina Fray. In the leadup to her exit, Violet expressed in confidence to Mai Kazowski that she wanted to possibly join the PD, feeling as though she has exhausted everything there is to experience in crime.
  • Cara Lynn - Rank: Prospect - Following the loss of their brutal turf war with Royal Mafia, the confidence of Mortelle's OGs and leadership were shaken, leading to some drastic measures being considered to keep Mortelle going (such as foregoing turf altogether).
  • Elizabeth Rose - Rank: Hangaround - Rumored to have been the source of shittalking which was cited as reason a prospective hangaround decided to not pursue Mortelle.
  • Nathaniel Johnson - Rank: Hangaround - The final months of Nate's life in Mortelle were constant contradiction... he would bemoan lack of initiative for criminal activity then turn down crime to do Dodo, bemoan a lack of gang mentality then be unwilling to backup the gang in confrontations. The final contradiction was a promise to Cindy to take leadership in bettering Mortelle while she was away on a trip. Nate openly spoke in front of prospect Sebrina Fray of plans to convince multiple hangarounds as well as prospect Zia Anna to leave Mortelle with him. Hours before Cindy would return from her trip, prospects Sebrina and Mai took it upon themselves to remove Nate from Mortelle by stabbing him and dumping his body at the port-a-pottys near the Park Ranger Station. On her return, Cindy was informed of what took place and agreed with their judgement.
  • Isla Reed - Rank: Hangaround - Resigned after long absences from the city.
  • Charlotte Greene - Rank: Hangaround - Poached by The Saints.
  • Zia Anna - Rank: Member - Kicked by high-command Sebrina after Zia confessed to being in talks with Zoe Marie about trying to join Venus Fly Traps.
  • Winter Sison - Rank: Member - Met with Sebrina to discuss Zia's removal. Having already spoken to Sebrina previously about intentions of leaving in the next week if Mortelle hadn't progressed in some way, Sebrina decided to push Winter on making her decision then and there.
  • Zia Anna and Winter Sison's exits from Mortelle was followed shortly by a meeting of Cindy, Mai and Sebrina in which Mortelle was disbanded, April 15 2023. Mortelle was a gang for approximately 15 months, across this time it lost 9 flags (4 OGs) + 23 hangarounds and at it's disbanding contained 6 flags (1 OG) + 5 hangarounds.
