Mickey Sinclaire is a character role-played by blau.
Description[]
Mickey Sinclaire, also known as Mickey S., was one of the founders and the former Chief Marketing Officer of The Company.
Personality[]
Mickey is calm and collected. His hardened past and detective work have left him with a nihilistic outlook on life. He was formerly known as "Downbad" Mickey by most of Los Santos because everything that could go wrong for him in nearly every scenario, inevitably, did. However, due to his ingrained stoicism, these repeated failures did not keep him from trying. Although Mickey can hack, his forte as a criminal is creating getaway plans, which are famously lengthy yet creative.
Despite some who regard him as supercilious, Mickey will always come to aid anyone who finds themselves in peril and seeking his assistance. His past experiences and trauma shaped him into a man who dislikes violence and will stand up to protect those he cares about. Mickey is also known for his astute wit, propensity for verbosity and ability to negotiate deals and favors to maneuver himself out of compromised situations with both law enforcement and criminals. Mickey’s pacifism and bluntness made him The Company chairman people frequently worked and communicated with.
Background[]
Before Mickey Sinclaire flew to Los Santos, he was betrayed by his former detective partner, Tommy, and his ex-wife, Maggie Kayden, who cheated on him before leaving him for dead. He moved to Los Santos with the intention of joining the criminal underworld and putting his various skills to good use, beginning as a stripper at the Vanilla Unicorn Club to eventually becoming the city's longest-serving mayor. Mickey was also a member of Chang Gang and served as the primary strategist for the Cleanbois heist crew.
Upon his arrival in Los Santos following the economic crisis, Mickey declared on numerous occasions that his stay in the city would be brief as he merely returned for a “business trip.” However, he would soon admit to being completely broke, having spent nearly every cent he embezzled from the Los Santos State Government drinking and gambling all throughout Europe. Mickey determined to stay in Los Santos once more in hopes of crafting his own legacy and devising heist plans, this time in a more remote manner.

My Criminal Academia was a private academy founded by Mickey Sinclaire and an event sponsored by The Company. Presented under the guise of a criminal reform school, MCA provided a range of courses from prominent personalities to aspiring criminals. Class 1-A was conducted from March 25th to 29th 2024, the faculty consisting of Mr. K, April Fooze, Marty Banks, Raymond Romanov, and Irwin Dundee, concluding with a prom celebration at Clean Manor.
Mickey dashed to the Clean Manor’s rear parking lot and into Ray’s car, who was already waiting for him. Mickey got in contact with Benji and advised him not to shoot Dundee in the spur of the moment; they all needed to get together and figure out what had happened. The three Company chairmen confronted Dundee on the bridge in Legion Square Park. It turned out it wasn’t Dundee who stabbed Ray Mond, but Bobby Beldrum, dressed up as him in disguise. Dundee had been in on it, however. He claimed that he didn’t know she was a Company contractor and assumed his minimal involvement was alright because the Academy term had come to a close and she was no longer his student, and because it was Ray who started the conflict with Bobby weeks earlier. Mickey fervently pointed out that it wasn’t alright; Ray had been his student at the time, his prom date, and was considered a friend by many members in The Company. Deeply concerned, Mickey called Ray to ask how she was feeling and whether she was in a safe location. Ray sobbed, telling him that she wasn’t okay. She recalled how afraid she was when Dundee recruited Bobby as a mechanic who had threatened, and then attacked her on the university campus after Dundee’s Transportation 101 class, and the stabbing that occurred during prom. After hearing the fear in Ray’s voice, Mickey was furious that something like this had happened at his Academy; it was meant to be a place where students felt safe. Dundee indicated that he wanted to make things right by apologizing, and while Benji phoned Ray so they could all meet up, Mickey argued that it would not be up to them, but up to her to determine how to go about the situation. Ray met them in the park tunnels. When Benji suggested that she should state her piece to seek a harmonious resolution, she snapped that there was only one way to fix this. Before anyone could respond, Ray rapidly gunned down the two BBMC members and fled the scene. While almost everyone else followed (since the gunshots would end up alerting the police), Mickey stayed behind and kneeled over Bobby’s body, breaking his usual cool demeanor, and threatened him in a subdued tone, “For what you did at my Academy and to my friend, I will use every resource that I have available to me - everything - so you better hope that you die and bleed out here or never see her again.” Afterwards, in a board meeting at Company headquarters, Mickey said that as much as he loved the Aussie, Dundee had broken his trust by abusing his position as a professor to get his BBMC member to work as an assistant during the class to get close to Ray Mond and achieve his revenge — not once, but twice that week — and he wouldn’t feel comfortable working with him in the near future, thus wanting to cease working with him as a contractor and his cleaning operation with Dexx Martin. Benji abstained from the vote, while the rest of the Board leaned in favor of it. They all decided to postpone the decision until the next day, allowing themselves the night to consider it. In anticipation that Ray Mond would quit The Company, after hearing the news that Dundee had merely received a suspension for his actions, on April 7th, 2024, Mickey met up with Ray at Legion Square Park and fully waived her tuition. Ray, instead, blamed herself for the whole mess, arguing that she shouldn’t have enrolled in the Academy while she was aware of a clown actively stalking her. Mickey apologized to her, as a friend and headmaster, for neglecting to investigate her concern about her safety when she tried to tell him she felt unsafe; he had been too preoccupied with assisting the professors with their classes to really listen to her. Ray informed him that she and Dundee had made up. She thanked Mickey and The Company for everything they had done to support her, and looked forward to continuing her work as a contractor, and potentially working in the Pharmaceutical Division in the future. |

On May 13th, 2024, Mickey Sinclaire, Swan DeLeur, and Beverly Brekker pooled their money to pay $498,200 for an industrial warehouse on Mutiny Road, La Puerta to serve as their temporary base of operations under Swan's name. The plan was to convert the front of the warehouse into a speakeasy bar where Swan could organize her Smash Club tournaments, while Mickey and Beverly would operate their heist club, Atlas, out of a hidden room in the back of the building.

Despite Mickey's promise to his beloved Atlas business partner Beverly Brekker that Mr. K would never harm him, Brekkers was stabbed by the Paleto Punisher and wound up in the ICU with heart and lung damage. Mickey and Benji Ramos searched for an organ donor to help Brekkers with the transplant operation that he required. With both Atlas partners Mickey and Swan DeLeur gone from the city and neither of them texting Brekkers his entire time in the ICU, Brekkers felt abandoned by both of them and became disillusioned with Atlas. Having previously never been interested in committing crime or wearing a kutte, Brekkers shocked and delighted his ex-wife Darcy Lane on July 29, 2024 by saying that he wanted to join the 1% motorcycle club that she was the President of: the Raiders MC (as a full member and not as an Old Lady or a clean face). Brekkers added that Benji and Raymond Romanov of Hades could help teach him crime. In the Raiders MC chapter meeting on August 3, 2024, Lane successfully nominated Brekkers to be a hangaround for them, stipulating that he'd be removed if he became Chief of Police. But the very next night on August 4, 2024, Brekkers broke a foundational rule of the police-hating Raiders MC and lied to them about it. Already upset that Brekkers had considered Chief of Police (the same position as Lane's abusive father) and appeared to lack the same drive he once had working for The Company, Lane facetiously disapproved of Brekkers' plan to apply for a janitor job at Mission Row Police Department (to spy on them) even though it bothered her more than she let on. Later when Brekkers was hanging out with the Raiders MC and excused himself to "walk back to his apartment", Lane discovered that he had lied to them. Raiders MC hangaround Flynn Bobarge spotted Brekkers getting into a police car with two BCSO officers (Snr. Deputy Crystal Clear and her partner Cadet Rein Synnefo, both of whom Brekkers was secretly going on a ride-along with). Given Lane's high hopes of Brekkers finally joining her club, she felt gutted and betrayed. Lane was too upset to stop her secret girlfriend Rue Day from grabbing a gun to hunt Brekkers for making Lane cry. After Rue recruited Raiders MC Tail Gunner Wally West, they stormed the Senora Desert Sheriff's Office and gunned down BCSO officer Rein. She chased down Brekkers and shot him twice in the abdomen and once in his bad heart before getting shot by BCSO officer Crystal. Wally gunned down Crystal and escaped with Rue. Brekkers ended up dying of heart failure on August 6, 2024 after a failed heart transplant operation by Dr. Duke Ramsey. Lane, Rue, and Wally were inconsolable. In denial, Benji and Ray stole Brekkers' dead body from the ICU and cryogenically froze his body at Humane Labs and Research. To atone for Brekkers' death, a guilt-ridden Lane turned herself into the police with her best guess of the murder weapon and lied that she was the one who shot him--but only received 80 months in jail and a $35,000 fine because Dr. Ramsey had controversially worded in Brekkers' autopsy report that he died of natural causes due to heart failure...not the gunshot wounds. Lane reflected to her VP Wade Wilson that by writing it that way, their friend Dr. Ramsey saved her from a murder charge. She also confessed to a grieving Benji on August 7, 2024 that the Raiders MC shot Brekkers for fraternizing with the police and lying to the club about it. Benji could not believe they killed someone so harmless, and drove off in a rage. On August 8, 2024, Mickey returned to Los Santos and kept hearing Brekkers' ghostly voice in his head. Benji reluctantly showed him Brekkers' frozen corpse at Humane Labs. After they blamed each other for his death, Mickey had to pry out of Benji that Brekkers had secretly joined his ex-wife Lane's gang the Raiders MC. Benji explained that after Lane opposed Brekkers' offer for Chief of Police, he accepted an offer to be a PD janitor and got shot by them for betraying and lying to the club about it. Mickey believed Benji's incorrect assumption that everyone but Lane had voted to punish Brekkers, putting him in the hospital sooner than expected, and that she didn't want him dead but had to follow the club rules. Mickey proclaimed that they kill Lane first so she doesn't watch her other members die in front of her. Benji assembled a Hades war party comprised of himself, Mickey, Reggie Might, Achez Perez, Dragon Rush, and Chico Guzman. When Brekkers' ghost voice advised Mickey to solve it with words before violence, Benji tried to phone Lane but she hadn't woken up yet. Mickey, Benji, and the war party all drove down to north Chumash and held up Raiders MC members Wade Wilson and Mason Calaway at gunpoint. Both Wade and Mason corrected Mickey's misconception that the club voted to shoot Brekkers. To protect the club secret of who actually shot Brekkers, Wade lied that he made the call to shoot him for getting in a cop car and betraying them by hanging out with cops. Having correctly deduced that the Raiders MC Enforcer had pulled the trigger, Reggie asked Wade who it was--but he refused to divulge it. Wade also explained that the club couldn't take any chances having someone close to them be close to the cops. Mickey called Brekkers innocent, the one good thing about the city, and the purest person in the city who solved problems with words rather than guns. Wade guilted Mickey for not being there for Brekkers when he needed him. Mickey shot both Wade and Mason outside of MRPD, completing "part one of the plan". Mickey executed the ex-lawyer for Chang Gang, Rick Richards, at Vinewood Bowl (whom Mickey and Benji had coincidentally encountered earlier amidst a bed of hypodermic needles at Humane Labs) for admitting to him (under "lawyer confidentiality") that he put Brekkers' adopted brother police Sgt. Leonardo Slacks in a coma. When Lane called Mickey to ask what would give him peace, he answered with his plan to kill all of them, anyone who's ever been connected to them, and anyone who's ever been connected to them. She tormented Mickey with the revelation that Brekkers said Mickey was dead to him, and also unlocked that Mr. K caused Brekkers' original heart and lung damage by stabbing him. Lane agreed to meet Mickey unarmed if he returned Brekkers' corpse to the hospital to get a proper autopsy. Against Benji's protests, Mickey dropped off Brekkers' corpse off with medical intern Celine Jaxx at the hospital (instructing that the autopsy be completed without any tampering). At the civilian docks with Lane and Benji, Mickey tried to shame her that Brekkers never would have betrayed her. Raiders Wally West and Dax Marshall attempted to post up on a rooftop to shoot Mickey per Lane's orders, but Hades was already posted at that same spot and gunned them both down. Lane refused to give Mickey closure, vowing to never tell him the truth of what actually happened to Brekkers--adding that she hoped it ate Mickey up until the day he died. He retorted that he hoped killing Brekkers ate her up inside. In response to Lane justifying her protection of the club secret with "club over everything", Mickey claimed he put Brekkers over everything. Benji threatened Wally and Dax for the truth from Lane. Mickey bragged that unlike her and the Raiders MC, he had the courage to go after Mr. K next. Lane retorted that he could do that because he had nothing and nobody left to lose--whereas she had to protect her people. Despite the favor to Swan to go easy on Lane so she could get closer to her, Mickey wanted revenge too badly and stabbed Lane multiple times. Afterward, Benji secretly phoned Reggie to save Lane's life--but Swan and the EMS had already attended to her. For the final act of the plan, Benji desperately tried to talk Mickey out of going after Mr. K. Mickey decided to sleep on it. Benji and Mickey exchanged apologies for not protecting Brekkers better. Dr. Celine Jaxx's autopsy affirmed the same conclusion that the cause of death was a "Failed Heart Transplant". Despite police scrutiny on Dr. Duke Ramsey's relationship with the Raiders MC given that his original autopsy report didn't even mention Brekkers' gunshot wounds, Dr. Jaxx's autopsy report led Chief of Police Daisy Moss, Assistant Chief of Police Tyler Peters, Lt. Kian McNulty, Officer Coyote, and Officer Anastasia Pierce to conclude that the police could not prove murder. Benji hurt Lane's feelings by being cold toward her outreach to help plan Brekkers' funeral, and by agreeing with her thoughts of not even attending it. Benji confided in Ray that he didn't want to betray both Brekkers and Mickey by talking to her. But later that night, both Lane and Benji admitted to liking each other. Slowly dying from a week's worth of insomnia and soul-crushing guilt over all of the hurt she caused Lane and the Raiders MC, their Warden Rue Day kept reacting to someone who wasn't there. Fearing that sleep-deprived Rue had given up on life, the Raiders MC admitted her into the care of Dr. Duke Ramsey on August 14, 2024 for a 72-hour hold to make her sleep. But before she was admitted, she called Benji asking for Mickey's phone number. Rue finally confessed the truth to Benji: that she was the one who murdered Brekkers--but wouldn't answer Benji about why she did it. It dawned on Benji that the guilt over murdering Brekkers was causing the insomnia Lane had told him about earlier. Benji wanted himself and Mickey to put Rue to sleep permanently, unaware that she and Lane were secretly in love with each other. Although Mickey agreed to plan Brekkers' funeral scheduled for Friday, Lane still handled the preparation, e.g., dressing Brekkers in his funeral suit, setting up Legion Square park as the venue (where Brekkers had a lot of meetings with The Company interns), and setting up the security for his corpse. On the day of Brekkers' funeral on August 16, 2024, Mickey couldn't find Brekkers' surgeon Dr. Duke Ramsey to get revenge on him. While waiting to meet with Mr. K to confirm whether he was the one who actually stabbed Brekkers, Mickey was confused by a text from a phone number he didn't recognize: "It was me. Please don't hurt anyone else. I just need to sleep. I'll be out of the hospital in a few days." He texted back, "who is this?" Mickey notified Mr. K that the Raiders MC had accused him of stabbing Brekkers. After briefly mixing up the Raiders MC with the Already Dead MC (whom he had beef with), Mr. K couldn't remember ever meeting the Raiders MC or stabbing Brekkers. But Mr. K did admit to stabbing "68 people" in Paleto for killing his friend, adding that if he did stab Brekkers it wasn't personal. Mickey reasoned that Mr. K had stabbed Brekkers randomly whereas the Raiders MC had maliciously shot him. Mr. K advised Mickey to stop caring, tried to recruit Mickey into a homicidal rampage with him and Chang Gang, and sacrificed both Ramee El-Rahman and Pigeon in bombings to prove his point. Longing for the whole city to burn, Mickey agreed to Mr. K's suggestion of bombing the Raiders MC house. Benji called Mickey a sucker for letting Mr. K radicalize him. Mickey, Benji, and Hades held Brekkers' public funeral at the amphitheater in Legion Square park. The Raiders MC did not attend. During Benji's eulogy, he openly promised to take care of Brekkers' ex-wife Lane and that "he would be sure to do what he was not able to do every night". For Mickey's eulogy, he talked about how he hated the city and everyone in it, that Brekkers was the "main character" in the broader story of this world, and that Mickey hoped the people of Los Santos died miserable and alone (especially Peach Chee). Mr. K eulogized how he stabbed Brekkers and that he probably took it like a champ. As Benji was driving Mickey and Brekkers' body to the ocean, Benji identified Mickey's mystery texter as Rue Day of the Raiders MC. Benji explained that she was the one who pulled the trigger on Brekkers and that she hasn't been able to sleep because of the guilt. Mickey vowed to kill Rue and Dr. Ramsey, and told Mr. K that Rue was the one who killed Brekkers for talking to the police. Mr. K replied that Chumash had to burn. Lane twatted out Brekkers' "The Final Diss" track, which Mickey enjoyed listening to. Mickey then dumped Brekkers' body into the ocean to honor his final request. While negotiating with the Rat King on behalf of Hades at |Legion Park, Mickey didn't care anymore and shot him up in cold blood. Coincidentally during a memorial club ride to spots sentimental to Brekkers, the entirety of the Raiders MC happened to take a break at Legion Park and overheard Mickey there. As they started to leave on their motorbikes, Mickey called them all out. Lane walked up to him and taunted whether he shot Mr. K yet. As Benji tried to separate them, Mickey shot her VP Wade Wilson and got gunned down in the veritable 10v10 shootout that ensued. Louis Blanc and Rico Barbosa escaped with Mickey. Benji rebuked Mickey for shooting at two meetings in a row for no reason, yelling that the hospital now had 20 bodies in it. Mickey responded that he wanted to shoot more, and then scorned Benji's hypothetical about sleeping with lesbian Lane for Brekkers. Next, Mickey wanted to find out which police officers offered Brekkers the janitor position. Benji tried to convince Mickey to live life again, but he mused that "depressive realism" was the correct outlook on life. When Brekkers' adoptive brother Sgt. Leonardo Slacks woke up from his coma, Mickey informed him that the Raiders MC killed Brekkers for seeing him with a cop, after Mr. K had stabbed him. Mickey agreed to help a grieving Slacks finish the job on Mr. K. Slacks agreed to burn the city to ashes with Mickey. On August 23, 2024, Mickey continued his revenge arc by seeking the police officers who offered Brekkers his janitor job and anyone who's ever ocean dumped Brekkers. With Mr. K and Rue Day not awake in the city, Mickey spontaneously invited himself to Irwin Dundee's cash exchange heist with the Bondi Boys MC. BCSO Deputy Helen Highwater negotiated with Mickey and Dundee for the hostage, but the police wound up breaching because the BBMC forgot duffel bags and had to breach negotiations. Mickey gunned down the hostage and four police officers before getting shot down and arrested. He was released on $40,000 bail pending the court case. |
