Michael Razzel is a character role-played by Orazz.
General Description[]
Michael Razzel served as the second Mayor of Los Santos County. His term ended on October 28th, 2025. He was elected as a magistrate in the same day to the Department of Justice.
Background[]
Little is known about Michael's past. He claims his motivation for coming to Los Santos was because he felt his skillset and experience would be useful to a city trying to rebuild after an economic collapse. While Michael has a legislative background, he's shown to be technically-inclined - taking the lead on numerous digital projects, and is also a trained artist and graphic designer. Upon arriving in Los Santos, Michael worked primarily as an independent tow truck operator - a job he used to make connections around the city.
History[]
Michael was hired by Nino Chavez and his then-campaign manager, Archie Archer, after being referred by Kayn Rhaast and Malcolm "Sly" Jenkens, to design election materials during Nino's first mayoral election campaign. Michael built Nino's campaign website and has continued to be the primary author of the majority of the Chavez Administration's messages - especially during campaigns. Though only knowing each other briefly, Michael was devastated by the death of Archie, who passed unexpectedly only minutes after last speaking with Michael.
Following Nino's election win, Michael was hired on permanently, and became a member of the cabinet. Shortly after the win, Eve Summers left the cabinet, and Michael took over the recently-established Los Santos County Chamber of Commerce overseeing the application process and approval of business license applications for Los Santos County. Michael was also responsible for the building of the Los Santos County Mayor's Office website and ghost-wrote the content for Kyle Pred's Blaine County Mayoral Campaign website.
Michael has a substantial legislative background, a fact that became known to the mayor over time. In his time as a cabinet member Michael has drafted or co-drafted over 40 pieces of legislation, most of which were enacted into law.
Michael's legislative proficiency is often leaned on for legal matters. He aided in the crafting of the defense for then mayor of Blaine County - Kyle Pred - with Tony Leung and Ajax Whitehawk who was charged in relation to a warehouse purchased using county funds. The case was successfully argued and won, resulting in the re-instatement of Kyle Pred as mayor of Blaine County.
Michael ran a successful election campaign and succeeded Nino as the Mayor of Los Santos County on July 21, 2025.
Personality[]
Michael is highly intelligent, and blunt to a fault, with his lack of filter resulting in candid statements that are often taken offensively. Michael is extremely calculated, often hyper-analyzing conversations from the sidelines before getting directly involved. Michael's humour is very deadpan, and matter-of-fact.
Nino has described Michael as a master of insulting people, often being able to do so without them even realizing.
Memorable Quotes[]
"Lovemore, a long time ago, my father told me "Michael, if you ever find yourself being the smartest person in a room, it's time to find a new room. Well Lovemore, I think you've found the perfect room for yourself, and it's going to last you a long, long, time"
"Dumbfuck."
"You're made of spare parts, bud." - to Junior Huntley.
"I swear to god Junior, I will staple your tongue to your taint so you can watch me beat your ass." - to Junior Huntley.
"CANADIAN!!!" - Whenever a person is mentioned who Michael knows is Canadian.
"He's very French...H'ELIOS, TAKE IT DOWN ABOUT 20 to 30 PERCENT." - Used frequently in group conversations where others are having trouble understanding H'elios through his accent.
"Is this not a reasonable place to park?" - to Judge Nathaniel Greyson when driving his four-wheeler in the city hall lobby.
