Mercury Frost is a member of the HOA and former OG member of Street Team and the CEO of Deja Brew coffee shop and a mechanic at Otto's Autos. She is a former college student from Liberty City and used to work for White Widow Dispensary and Green Beans. She nominally left the weed business in early September 2021.
Background[]
Mercury grew up in a large family. Her parents Orion and Nebula Frost were hippies and were never around. She moved around to live with various family members throughout her youth with her 7 brothers and sisters (Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, Saturn, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter).
When she was old enough, she moved to Liberty City and attended Vespucci University where she pursued a degree in fashion. She distanced herself from her family completely with the exception of her brother Jupiter (who was slightly insane). Jupiter became involved as an associate with a crime family in Liberty City known as the Pegorino family. An amateur heist at the Cluckin' Bell went wrong when Jupiter unknowingly lead the police back to one of the family’s many stash houses. This mistake lead to Mercury being kidnapped from her dorm room by the Pegorino family, as the family felt that Jupiter needed to repay his debt to the family. They used Mercury as a hostage to achieve this goal, threatening her life at the top of the tower crane in Star Junction. Eventually, they returned Mercury to her brother with the promise that he would pay them for all the money they lost.
The following day Mercury met up with her brother at the Bean Machine in Star Junction where she worked as a barista; Jupiter was in a rush and stormed into the coffee house. He gave her an envelope that contained a plane ticket to Los Santos and some cash to help her get situated in a new city. Mercury knew what this meant for her and knew that her safety was in danger if she remained in Liberty City so she said goodbye to her brother and hopped on a plane to Los Santos.
