11 years ago, when Matthew Colby was 18 years old, he was driving recklessly, covering 212 miles down a highway when he caused a bus to crash, which also involved several cars. Tragically, everyone involved in the accident died, including an entire state championship hockey team. Committing 26 counts of manslaughter and 1 count of reckless driving. Colby stated that he wasn’t drunk at the time, but admitted to being reckless in his driving. He described the incident as accidental. Matthew was then sentenced to life in prison at Bolingbroke Penitentiary.
