Mason Dixie was a Senior Deputy for the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, Badge #358.
History[]
Mason participated in the investigation of Richard Tips' murder by Chatterbox. He was overly invested in the case, frustrated by the number of police officer deaths in the preceding months. Mason did not care for Chatterbox's well-being and simply wanted him punished harshly for the murder. Obsessed with finding the murder weapon, a knife, Mason taunted Chatterbox endlessly, eventually dressing as a clown full-time. After being shot in a shootout with Cypress on October 4th, 2024, Mason required surgery. Krystal Bordier, known as the clown doctor "Stitches", operated on him. The surgery was failing, but seeing that Mason was in a clown outfit, she tried the surgical methods she usually did on the clowns, including silly putty and glitter. The surgery was a success, but after recovery Mason went insane, eventually firing his weapon while inside the BCSO building. He was suspended for a short time and was unable to keep working on the Chatterbox case.
The following April, Mason pulled over Shang Liu for a traffic stop in Paleto Bay. Shang shot him to escape, and Mason spent several days in intensive care. Obsessed with revenge, Mason began stalking Shang while off-duty, keeping careful notes on Shang's whereabouts and activities. However, Shang killed Mason first. The ensuing investigation into Mason's death by LSPD Officer Vi Gray, as well as Marshal Ray Lee and Krystal Bordier (herself now a marshal), uncovered his madness, which was a shock to the BCSO. A funeral had been planned for Mason to be buried alongside Jacob Berretta, but several people objected to his burial in the police section of the city graveyard, notably Los Santos Mayor Nino Chavez. He and Baretta were buried in Sandy Shores instead.
