| KJ | It's KJ Time! Someone Mari has not known for a long time, but he is someone Mari instantly felt connected to. KJ, unlike many others, saw her as an equal - and shared information, skills, knowledge and friendship with her. In turn she did the same to him. Their hangout times, often dubbed 'ITS MJ TIME!' are met with talks, jumping off ramps, and discussing business. Mari appreciates the warm friendship with someone who she feels won't talk down, coddle, or baby her. They share dirty jokes between each other, and can be seen as flirtatious - but Mari sees KJ more as a brother than anything else. |  |
| Lilith Ailheart | a close friend. She used to be Mari's best friend but they grew distant when they both became busy. Mari still cares about Lilith, and enjoys her company. Lilith is someone Mari can confide in, as she knows Lilith won't vilify or take sides. Lilith was also one of the first people Mari met in Los Santos, having fallen out of the helicopter with her on their second day in the city. |  |
| Kian Mercer | First her bartender, then a friend - Kian has a jovial personality that has helped Mari open up a bit more and feel more comfortable around others. He has a very magnetic way of talking, and often made light of Mari when she worked the bar. After returning to Mirror Park her friendship with Kian was rekindled and Mari finds comfort in his continued friendship. |   |
| Kray Tor | good Friend. When Mari first met Kray Tor in her first week of the city, he intimidated the hell out of her and she barely spoke to him. It wasn't till after she moved back into Mirror Park with Freddy that she started to talk to him. She found a common ground with the man, and holds him in high regard. She respects that he listens to her, and her ideas - and admires that he actually takes on board her suggestions. Mari is unsure if Kray-Tor holds their friendship in the same regard, and is worried of it being a one sided friendship |   |
Enemies
Lizzie - Mari never had a problem with the woman before, until she was having a heated discussion with Freddy and she butt in - ignoring Mari outright and telling Freddy that 'this wasn't worth it' and trying to convince him to leave. Mari felt incredibly hurt by this action. She tries to justify it by saying that it was okay...lizzie is Freddys best friend but Mari has a seething resentment for the woman. She even admitted to Lillith that she had wanted to cause harm to her, and the only reason she hadn't was because she was a close friend to Freddy.
Mari has since learned that this was not intentional, and instead a lie/trick concucted by Lizzie and Freddy to hurt Mari and make her 'feel what he feels' BOth Lizze and Freddy show regrets and Mari is showing signs of forgiving her.
ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS
Freddy Fastfingers (Ex Husband)
Someone Mari didn't ever expect to see in a light beyond 'that crazy lunatic who kidnapped me in a bank heist once' they since became fast friends - and it wasn't till recently, when Freddy asked her on a date that Mari originally reluctantly agreed to go on that she realized how much fun she had with him, and how much she liked him.
Since then this madman has been overly protective of what he sees as a fragile Mari but rarely listens to her when she is trying to talk to him due to his crippling ACDC, which causes nothing but troubles to very serious topics.
They moved into a small house in Vespucci near the Billabong which is under Mari's name. Purchasing this house with help from Freddy's habits of non stop grinding money when he needs and loan. Repaying this is no problem for the mischief maker.
Freddy proposed to Mari during a discussion on his future between BBMC and HOA - Mari told him she'd always be by his side and Freddy proposed. Stating she was the only person he could trust with everything, and anything.
Mari married him by shotgun wedding. It was sweet, But...Their relationship was not without its troubles. Mari had constantly put Freddy first; doing her best to make him proud. When he gave her the ultimatum of hanging with Olivia, her best friend from the BBMC or him. She chose him. He had claimed that he and Mari were to never hang out with BBMC members. Mari felt sad she couldn't spend time with her best friend but understood. Olivia ended up passing away, and Mari always felt she had lost time with her she will never get back.
Freddy had also played cruel stunts on her; collaborating with Lizzie to on purposefully hurt her. Having a mock almost wedding with Selena. To him breaking promises in regards to Meta morphine and still hanging out with Lizzie despite her being BBMC. Breaking his own rules. Mari tried to air these grievances to him. He and her came to an understanding and he said something that really hit her; his word were along the lines of. "I need to be free, and I can't be with someone who wants to control me. I just can't. That's not who I am." Mari felt she had been unfair and decided to keep those things to herself.
Freddy had been gone for a long time; Mari had seen Freddy a total of 3-4 times in that many months. When a postcard arrived to say that he loved her, but was going on a journey of self discovery and he didnt know when he'd be back, if ever. Mari chose for her own health to break things off. She hates knowing Freddy will hate her for this; but decided she couldn't handle being away from him for that long. And he'd be better off without someone who was emotional like her.
Their relationship also had many good times; where Freddy always had Mari's back, and made sure she was okay multiple times.
He will always hold a very dear and fond place in her heart.

| Olivia Garcia | Mari's ex best friend: Someone Mari met in her first week in the city, they immediately connected with common interests, constantly joking between Macca's and Maccies- and overall just meshing well personality-wise. Recently, Mari has had to step back from the friendship due to Freddy not wanting either of them to have anything to do with the BBMC. Despite the fact Mari can't really hang out with Olivia anymore she still considers her one of, if not her best friend. And cares greatly for Olivia. There will always be an irreplaceable place in Mari's heart for her. Mari was at a loss when she found out Olivia had passed away via Twatter, upset that no one had told her - and that she had lost all that time with her friend. A part of her resents Freddy for having stolen what would have been her last moments with Olivia. |   |

| James Brown | James is a jovial man with a pancake butt and a cowboy hat; a person who was really there for Mari during a time she was questioning her decision to move to Los Santos. Both he and Luka showed her a kindness she thought was non existent in the city. James is slowly introducing Mari into the world of crime; showing her how to obtain VPNs, and talking her through Oxy runs. He's invited her on a few of these but Mari has declined thus far. Mari did accompany James on a botched kidnapping attempt but thanks to his quick maneuvering she was able to escape without being caught. One of Mari's closest friends, someone Mari knows she can confide in and who she knows won't give her shit. James has always been 100% straight and honest with her, and Mari appreciates that. |   |
