The Lumber Company (also called the Lumber Union) was based in the Paleto Forest Sawmill and was founded by Jack Kettleman & Stelio Lambros. They now mostly operate off of Fudge Lane.

Jack Kettleman created the Lumber Union in hopes to unify all of the solo lumberjacks coming up to Paleto to chop wood for a living wage. When there was no money to be made, Stelio Lambros petitioned to the government of Los Santos that the lumberjacks be paid fairly for their hard work. Once contract negiotations were secured, the Union was finally able to sell their varnished planks to the foreman for some cash. Soon afterwards, Jack Kettleman decided to take matters into his own hands and corner the lumber market by selling the planks themselves for more profit. The Union has grown in members and are now the largest supplier of lumber to the city. They evolved later as the Lumber Company using their vast amounts and volume of lumber to create furniture. They are now considered the biggest distributors of furniture in this city also conducting their own showroom to showcase all of the different options and varieties to their customers. They have made connections with other large business groups such as the Los Santos Sanitation Division (LSD) & The Company and have secured legitimate partnerships with one another.
