Lucian Lullaby is an amoral "therapist" who focuses on the research of the mind. He can hypnotize people, appear in their dreams, implant false personalities of himself, and control subjects with trigger words. He is a common enemy of The Neon Circus, The Neon Tigers MC, and the Raiders MC, as well as an antagonist of the Smileys.
Background[]
Lucian Lullaby was purportedly a mad scientist who experimented on twin siblings Bringle Dingus and Lily Night-Sky when they were little. In those experiments, he implanted the false personality of himself which they both exhibited later as adults. Lullaby currently specializes in hypnotherapy and dream manipulation, and is a self-proclaimed "semantic alchemist".

The story of Lucian Lullaby began in December 2024 when Bringle Dingus of The Neon Tigers MC and The Neon Circus was found injured at The Lighthouse by police and EMS after being in the ICU for many months. For the next couple of months, Bringle showed signs of having split personalities and became obsessed with solving some kind of runic puzzle. Around this time, Raiders MC patched members James Callahan and Rylee Kenwood befriended several members of the Neon Tigers and the Neon Circus; Wally West's new girlfriend and Veronica Calaway's adopted sister Reina Vergara was the self-proclaimed Neon Witch of the Neon Circus and James' new girlfriend and future wife Lotte Breeze was also friends with them. Bringle's friends in the Neon Tigers/Circus and the Raiders become concerned when he started to show really odd behavior. It turned out that one of Bringle's split personalities was the result of a hypnotic suggestion implanted in him by an amoral doctor specializing in hypnosis and dreams named Lucian Lullaby. In early March 2025, Bringle went missing and while his friends searched for him, Neon Circus co-founder Sooty Gamwich was inflicted with the same hypnotic suggestion as Bringle and constantly switched between herself and this alter ego. (The group later learned that Lullaby shifted his focus from Bringle to Sooty.) Bringle, now free of Lullaby's control, was eventually found but Sooty kept switching between herself and the alter ego, and became highly aggressive. Bringle was able to knock Sooty out and was somehow able to manifest a version of himself that entered Sooty's dream. While inside Sooty's dream, Bringle did battle with the hypnotic suggestion of Lullaby and was able to expel it from Sooty's mind. |

For a period of time, Lullaby was nowhere to be found and the large friend group went back to daily life in Los Santos. However, several people, including James Callahan, Rylee Kenwood, Reina Vergara, Lotte Breeze, and Idol Lunas (the Neon Tigers President and Neon Circus co-founder), started having weird dreams. It turned out that everyone who was having these dreams had been selected as a "specimen" by Lullaby. Lullaby's ultimate goal was to achieve some form of immortality by implanting his own consciousness into his patients through hypnotic suggestion and then having the suggestion take full control. The dreams grew more intense, and Lullaby started to make contact with and implant hypnotic suggestions in his specimens over the phone and in person. He also pinged them to random locations and left behind various clues. James and Lotte became frustrated with Lullaby and threatened him several times. Undeterred, Lullaby also started to make things personal by contacting close loved ones of his specimens, e.g., calling Raiders MC Sergeant At Arms Wally West to antagonize his girlfriend Reina. On June 8, 2025, Idol, who was at Parsons Rehabilitation Center with Rylee, Lotte, and Patrick Desseault, received a phone call from Lullaby where he proceeded to activate a hypnotic suggestion. Idol began attacking the three of them, eventually downing Rylee and Lotte. Patrick was able to fight off Idol, and she snapped out of her trance. An angry James rolled up to Parsons with several Raiders, and almost shot Idol, but stopped short after learning that Idol didn't attack them with a weapon. |

Around this same time, Sooty Gamwich went missing and her friends had no idea where she was. They later learned that she was being held at Parsons by Lullaby, who was working as a doctor there. She was receiving some kind of treatment. In a phone call with James, Lullaby said that Sooty's treatment was almost done and that he will release her. James asked if she will be the same Sooty that he knows. Lullaby said she will be a better Sooty. On July 1, 2025, Sooty's sister Oshiera Petros received a coded message written by Sooty from an unnamed Parsons employee. Oshiera was able to partially decipher part of the message: it listed nine of Sooty's closest friends. There were also riddles that could be used to help free Sooty. Oshiera spent the day giving the cipher to the people mentioned in it, including Reina, Idol, and Ursula Leichenberg. On July 4, 2025, a large group of Sooty's friends from the Neon Tigers/Circus and the Raiders gathered at Parsons to try to free Sooty and Neon Tigers member Patrik Orwelles, who was also captured by Lullaby. The group was able to solve several clues and fight through several hypnotic attempts by Lullaby. When hypnotized Neon Tigers member Ian Newfounder shot Lotte, James shot Ian. The group was unable to rescue Sooty, whom Lullaby transported from Parsons to a more secure facility. They were able to find and free Patrik. After the rescue mission, Lotte told in frustration Reina and Idol that she suspected that some of their friends might have been under Lullaby's control and working with him to foil their rescue attempts. On July 7, 2025, Lullaby hypnotized both Idol and Reina to transport an incapacitated Sooty from a Grapeseed farm to LSIA to be flown out of the state. Worried that Idol and Reina had disappeared and weren't returning their calls, the Raiders and Lotte teamed up with Neon Circus members to try to find them. Idol was able to break free of the hypnotic control, and phoned Lotte that they were at the airport. But a still hypnotized Reina left Idol behind and took off with Sooty. Hellbent on killing Lullaby, the Raiders scoured the island in search of Sooty. Pockets found and disabled Reina's car in Grapeseed. Everyone gathered there, and was able to pull Sooty out of the car while also snapping Reina out of her trance. Sooty was brought to the hospital. Though conscious, Sooty called each of her friends by a different name. |

On July 13, 2025, Los Santos Medical Group Attending Doctor Stacey Recht met with her mentor and former doctor and Raiders Old Lady Duke Ramsey at the Pacific Bluffs resort to discuss Lucian Lullaby. Stacey told Duke that she had recently started conducting sleep and brain wave study trials on those who have been put into trances by Lullaby--after receiving Lullaby's research and patient notes from someone who stole them from the amoral doctor. Stacey gave Duke a copy of the research notes as well as the patient notes on his friends (James, Rylee, Lotte, and Reina) in the hopes that he could help her with her research. She also asked Duke if he can convince his friends to participate in her Lullaby study trials. Stacey also warned that Lullaby is trying to gather information on Raiders, as well as Clowns and Mimes, in the prison--she learned from Department of Corrections Officer Michael Garcia that Lullaby had given this task to a lifer named Logan Keys. Logan also suffers from Lullaby's hypnosis "therapy" and has participated in Stacey's study trials. Three days later on July 16, 2025, Lullaby made his next move. Raiders MC Warden Rylee Kenwood suddenly went missing. Lullaby called Reina and told her that he had kidnapped Rylee and promised that she would turn out worse than Sooty did. Rylee's friends, including a recently returned Georgia Priestly, searched the entire island but found no trace of her or the twisted therapist.   Sooty and a hypnotized Reina downed during Lullaby's confrontation with Oshiera, Marty, Idol, and Ziggy at Humane Labs on July 17, 2025 Lullaby continued to antagonize the Raiders MC, the Neon Tigers MC, and the Neon Circus on July 17, 2025, through twats and phone calls. He even tried to get a tour of the Neon Jungle and persuade Sloane Monroe that he was being mischaracterized by the rest of the Circus, but she firmly told him she wasn't interested in his bullshit and to get out, then immediately alerted the Circus. While out hunting for more clues to Sooty Gamwich's memory and the location of Rylee Kenwood, Lullaby pinged Sooty, Idol Lunas, and Ziggy Buggs to Humane Labs and Research. The trio arrived with Reina Vergara, Raiders Prospect Marty Holiday, and his new girlfriend Oshiera Petros (now a Hangaround for the Hounds MC). Sensing that things were getting hostile right off the bat, Lullaby said a series of trigger words to put Sooty, Reina, and Idol into trances (though the hypnotic attempt on Idol failed and she just pretended -- Sooty, feeling herself getting foggy, got angry setting off the shock-device on her back causing her to pass out). Lullaby ordered Reina to hold a gun on Oshiera, but Oshiera shot her down upon seeing her sister fall to the ground. Oshiera and Ziggy, with guns in hand, ordered Lullaby to give them information and to undo the trances. Lullaby said that his patients will never be free of his hypnotic treatments if they killed him and that he would only undo the trances if they let him leave in his car. They acquiesced. The group rushed Reina to the hospital, and she went into ICU. Afterward, a distraught Marty told Veronica Calaway and Duke Ramsey at Chumash Pier that had he not hesitated to shoot Lullaby the day before (when he and Oshiera happened upon Lullaby by chance), then nothing would have happened to Rylee and Reina. Marty was also upset because he is seeing Oshiera (even though they don't officially have a label), and had given her the gun that she had shot Reina (the girlfriend of his sponsor Wally West) with.   Lullaby being kidnapped by Dax, Oshiera, Misha, Robyn and Maggie at Parsons on July 24, 2025 On July 24, 2025, Oshiera, with help from fellow Hounds MC member Maggie Gunn and the Ravens MC, kidnapped Lullaby. While Ravens President Misha Standal tortured Lullaby, Oshiera went through his phone and learned that Neon Circus member Ursula Leichenberg had been assisting the twisted therapist. As a result, Sooty called a large emergency meeting. Still feeling unsafe around Oshiera and uncertain if Marty would protect her, Reina asked Duke to come to the meeting (which was attended by many members of the Neon Tigers MC and the Neon Circus, as well as Lotte Breeze and Lost MC President Flossie Grey). Oshiera read out Lullaby's and Ursula's texts to each other, which revealed that she has been feeding him information on their actions and also called him 'father." The group then debated on whether Ursula is under Lullaby's control or is helping him willingly (Lotte and Reina believed the latter). Lotte also told the group that there might be a copycat hypnotist out there as EMS medic Jeremy Shimizu received a phone call from someone claiming to be Lullaby who told him a series of trigger words that did not follow the modus operandi of the doctor. Despite getting Lullaby's phone, Oshiera didn't learn anything about Rylee's whereabouts. Afterwards, Lullaby contacted Lotte and told her that Oshiera doesn't care about what he does to Rylee. Lotte and Reina thought that he might have been lying to create a wedge in the group, but Reina asked Idol if this was true. She said yes, but that she's an unreliable source due to Lullaby's control over her. They hurriedly brought her to the hospital where Attending Doctor Stacey Recht gave her a medical examination. The toxicology report found that Lullaby had drugged Rylee with cocaine, ecstasy, and lean. The club was worried that Rylee might relapse on cocaine after being clean for a couple of months. Shortly after, Lotte and Reina shot down a disguised Lullaby at the food court when he tried to slip an iridescent black card into Lotte's pocket (the same card he had given to Reina and Pockets earlier while in disguise). They brought him to the Vinewood Bowl and were joined by Raiders MC Vice President Wade Wilson, V, and Marty (providing backup in case Ursula showed up). Lotte stole two notebooks off of Lullaby, which revealed many more patients--including Ursula--confirming that she is, in fact, under his control. After Lotte was done, Wade shot him many more times with a shotgun. |

Having survived his gunshot wounds, Lullaby was discharged from the hospital on August 13, 2025. He phoned Reina Vergara and tried to hypnotize her into picking up and delivering a journal to Ursula Leichenberg. However, Reina's boyfriend Wally West was with her at the time of the phone call and helped her overcome the hypnotic attempt. Reina learned where the journal was and retrieved it from a dumpster on Del Perro Pier. The journal stated that Lullaby was dying from the gunshot wounds he sustained from the Raiders MC and that he had to drastically speed up the timeline on completing Subject 42. Reina and Lotte Breeze speculated that Lullaby intended to transfer his consciousness into Subject 42 and that the subject could either be Ursula, Rylee Kenwood, or lifer Logan Keys. Later that night, Logan's ex-wife, Mime June Blackmore, broke into Bolingbroke Penitentiary and tried to blow it up with a bomb, However, Logan stabbed June to death before that could happen. On August 22, 2025, Alice Omen flew back in from Germany where Raiders MC President Darcy Lane had been undergoing neurological treatment for her sleep disorder. Unbeknownst to Alice, her half-brother Sin Omen had recently woken up with amnesia surrounded by police and EMS at Parsons Rehabilitation Center--and kept muttering about the number 42 and that "the work continues", a well-known phrase used by Lullaby. After Idol Lunas texted Alice that Sin had twatted something cryptic related to a mad scientist problem, Lotte Breeze confirmed to Allie that the mad scientist was Lucian Lullaby. Lotte explained that Lullaby was dying and wanted a new vessel named "Subject 42". She added that Sin had twatted out "the work continues"--just like Lullaby likes to do--and that she had called Sin and found out about his recent memory blackout. |

Ursula Leichenberg had been engaged to Kenneth Jesperson, who had previously been the leader of the serial killer group the Smileys. While affected by Lullaby's influence, Ursula broke up with Kenneth, stabbed him, and stole from him. These traumatic events helped lead to Kenneth reforming the Smileys in force, recruiting Thaddeus "Tad" Donkersloot, Jr., Ian Moone, and Ember "Charlie" Quinn to his "family." Kenneth had also offered to brainwash Sooty Gamwich to undo Lullaby's work, effectively turning her into a Smiley as well. Sooty became a valuable source of information to the Smileys as to what the Raiders MC, The Neon Tigers MC, and The Neon Circus had already gathered about Lullaby, as well as the possibility that the dying Lullaby might choose Ursula as his successor.   Lullaby giving an Iridescent Black Card to Chatterbox during his house arrest on August 20, 2025 Ember and her alter Charlie's involvement with the Smileys had ostracized her from The Funhouse Clowns, especially after trying to kidnap her then-wife Johanna Golden for the Smileys to brainwash her. This action put the Funhouse Clowns on high alert, and Raiders MC Chaplain Veronica Calaway stabbed Ember in retaliation. Meanwhile, Lullaby managed to have a conversation with Chatterbox at Highwater Asylum where Chatterbox was stuck in house arrest, providing him with an iridescent black card and suggesting he could help him reach his "full potential." Neon Circus members later warned Chatterbox about Lullaby's actions, especially the brainwashing. After Tessa Lamb fell out of her treehouse and damaged her spine, the Funhouse Clowns suspected foul play, especially Jagger, who urged other clowns to look into Tad due to his prior stalking of Tessa. Twinkles kidnapped Ember/Charlie at gunpoint from Kenneth's vehicle, and together with Sneaky questioned her about Tad and her involvement with the Smileys. Charlie eventually also told them about why Ursula and Kenneth were no longer together, and that Ursula was now under Lullaby's control. |

Chatterbox's therapist during his house arrest, Pixie Tarantino (head of the psychology department at Los Santos Medical Group who had been hoping to reopen Parsons Rehabilitation Center to treat patients like him), became aware of Lullaby's activities and unauthorized use of Parsons. She asked BCSO Deputy Helen Highwater to investigate Lullaby. Later on, Pixie's adopted daughter Flossie Grey told her everything she knew about Lullaby. Helen got in touch with LSPD PPO Lex Stryker--who was building an investigative report on Lullaby's activities--as part of a greater police effort looking into him and the Smileys. A couple of days later, Helen spotted (but did not recognize) Lullaby as he was watching the house arrest house. She confronted him, but was immediately creeped out by him. Sooty Gamwich and others in the area warned her by text who Lullaby was and what he was capable of. Meanwhile, Lullaby called Ember Quinn and Lily Fumbles asking for information on Helen--but seemed to lose interest when it became apparent that she was a cop. Lily later warned Helen that Lullaby was asking about her. Helen ended up lead investigator on the Lullaby case, alongside Stryker and BCSO Captain Brian Knight. She made her investigation known to many of Lullaby's subjects when she officially questioned Bringle Dingus and Idol Lunas, and tried to talk to various Raiders MC members. Bringle confirmed to Helen that he and Lily Night-Sky, as biological children of the Mime Emperor, were given to Lullaby when they were very young. |
