Leaving Los Santos and Returning 5 years later[]
As Los Santos started to crumble financially, Louise and James decided to leave with what they had while they still could. Leaving behind her beloved homes and cars, they move to a neighboring city of Los Santos, San Diego, where they stayed for a while living life before they decided it was time to actually take vacations after being workaholics for a while.
First stop: Leeds, England; Louise and James venture back to Louise's home town. While being there, James meets Louise's grandma, who she lived with from the age of 10 to 21, and he also meets the nanny who took care of Louise while she was a baby up until she moved out; however, Louise always kept in contact with her.
During their stay in the UK, Louise bumped into her parents while she was with James, and she hasn't spoken to her parents since moving out. During an awkward conversation, she found out that in the years 2003 and 2005, her parents had two children, one girl and one boy, both of whom were put up for adoption due to their very hectic work schedules. As hot-shot lawyers, they are travelling the world constantly. Louise was given their contact details.
Six months pass by, and they are making their way to Australia, where they got to a little town outside of Sydney. During the trip, they head into Sydney so James can reconcile with his family; however, his mother is bitter and sour when she answers the door, telling James his father died because he drank himself to death due to feeling guilty for pushing James away. Louise hugged James after the door was slammed in his face. He picked up their bags and walked away without saying a word.
Louise does see a snake and a spider while in Australia and does not get used to them. In fact, she has a traumatic experience as a snake chases her down. James was able to stop it and capture it eventually.
After Australia, they head back to the US to venture there and travel for a while. They do this for a few years before settling down in LA for a year before they both receive calls at the exact same time asking them to go back to LS and be apart of the Skeleton Crew for the government fractions they once worked for. Louise and James did not hesitate, immediately saying yes. Louise, being super happy and excited knowing she is going home to where her best friend Ryan currently is, contacts him to let him know she's returning home after 5 years.
James used these few years to gather himself and the feelings surrounding the news of his father's death while also spending time with his wife and enjoying their time away.
As stated, Louise is aware that Ryan stayed in LS with Lottie and The Lost MC, where he was a backroad surgeon and doctor. They were able to keep in contact, but it wouldn't be as much as they were used to.
During the 5 years. Louise and James were able to attend Emerson's wedding in Arizona, in which Louise was Maid of Honour and James was a Bridesman (Male Bridesmaid). They stayed there for 2 weeks after to see Emmi some more and also so Louise could see Ryan, as it was very rare he was able to leave LS Lands.
They also attended Jess and Minerva's wedding in Colorado, doing the same thing again, staying for a couple of weeks to not only sight-see but also to see Ryan.
