General Description[]
Leonard Cassidy is a Sergeant for the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, Badge #309.
The new Federal Government of Los Santos designated Cassidy as a member of the Skeleton Crew.
Leonard is under investigation by officer Jack Vos for his involvement in a "harem", which Leonard vehemently disagreeswith, as he believes he is in love with Raia Kaine whom he met & arrested on Valentine's Day. Couple's song which Jenna helped to make.
He officially became a cuck when Arnold Carl married Raia. 🪑
Leon is nonconfrontational, gives everyone a 2nd chance and in general tries to deescalate any situation. This leads to a few well deserved crashouts when he has had enough, for example after Vic's "I bashed that bitch's skull in with a nightstick" bragging incident and after Moss together with Peters accused BCSO of murdering LSPD officers. And while he is very patient with his deputies, there is only so much disrespect he's willing to take. Not to be underestimated, because once that patience threshold breaks he becomes ruthless, leaving his deputies speechless - JIMBO FAT, and deeply disturbed - The Cockgate.
Health Issues[]
After the PD Physical Evals on December 4th, 2024, Cassidy was diagnosed with "slightly" high blood-pressure. Despite Cassidy's assurances that it is likely just due to how stressful his life has been recently, Dr. Nancy Ree prescribed him Viagra to help improve his condition. Cassidy refused the medication over an extreme fear of public erections and developing ED. He will likely suffer multiple heart attacks as a result.
Cassidy was also warned that he is at risk of growing hair inside of his heart due to high Testosterone levels and that he should read poetry by poets like Oscar Wilde or William Blake at least three times a day, drink almond milk, and drink flavored water to help bring it down.
He discovered he's allergic to carrots while filming cooking show for Spice God in Big Dawg Noodles. Will carrot allergy stop Cassidy from becoming a movie star?
Career[]
LSPD[]
Metrosexual Leon aspired to lead shift 1 as a Butter stars bars Liutenant, but it wasn't meant to be. It took months before frustrated Officer Leon became Senior Leon. He was often overlooked despite working long hours, surviving Duncaningand even placing 2nd on Siobhan's leaderboard for Max's quota system.
He got promoted after hearing Sergeant Viv tell Beric she's quitting because of the Viv vs. Denzel drama. Desperate Beric noticed Leon standing nearby, promoted him to Sergeant and fucked off without saying another word. After hearing Beric's secret plan to add 10 more Denzels into shift 1, Cassidy lost all hope for the LSPD. He still saved Denzel at his firing panel, a decision he would regret during the heights of LSPD vs. BCSO drama when Denzel blackmailed him.
Sheriff election[]
Leonard told Cornwood many times he would run for Sheriff when the time comes, so even though he didn't agree with another department opening so soon, he decided to run because it was going to open no matter how low PD numbers were. After seeing Cornwood's twats, calling everyone who's running rank chasers, his respect for Bones grew and he decided to run as his Undersheriff instead so they wouldn't split the vote. He also convinced OG Captain Slacks to drop out of the election. When Crane announced the new Sheriff Bones, Crane also revealed State's Undersheriff offer for Cornwood. After weeks of dangling Undersheriff position in front of Leonard, Cornwood decides to accept it, only to turn around immediately saying he's joking. Leon finally becomes Undersheriff.
BCSO[]
It was hard to imagine that this pretty city boy, who wouldn't touch a fish, could successfully lead dirty sandy department. But after he put chwheat in his mouth, bought a pair of circular sunglasses and fought Peters for months, he got harder, bigger, 1% scruffier and overall more handsome. Some failures along the way include not being able to convince Onfire to enjoy meetings, losing Bradford and his day one Opski and not stopping Moss from flip flopping on certs. HC collectively failed to stop Investigation unit from self destruction. On the other hand, Cassidy protected his deputies from vindictive Peters and managed to keep morale up during the LSPD vs. BCSO drama and constant political conflict, so deputies were still waking up. By making sure standards are kept, BCSO became known as the competent department so even officers like Anita and Hayes eventually transferred. With his firm individual approach, he was able to dap Jack without his usual doom spiraling, save Dixie's life after brain glue surgery, keep Bruce's hopes up even after making it clear no one cares about investigations and squash Crystal's doubts in a strip club. He also fired idiot Siobhanand basically Forte too, even though they weren't in his department. As the most present HC member in the field, Undersheriff Cassidy provides much needed leadership and control over messy scenes.
Cassidy constantly pushes for new people to get hired and even leads academy and FTO when he can, preaching the obligation to bring more people in. He pushed for his girlfriend Raia to get hired after he checked with the department if they were ok with it. When Cassidy and Raia contacted a judge to get her expunged, he noticed she didn't even have an assault with a deadly on her record, making the argument for hiring her very easy.
BCSO allows transfers from and to LSPD, but Cassidy doesn't care for all of them. He refused needy Wade and was hesitant about Peters. He was also frustrated with Ventura who kept alluding to wanting to transfer from LSPD, but not directly asking for it. After weeks of Cassidy not giving a fuck, he starts crying to Bones who then approves the transfer. Cassidy's other work husband Nekoda kept delaying his transfer, so he could spend more time in his hot mum's house, but since he was Cassidy's dreamy Lt it had to happen eventually. Cassidy and his work husbands are part of Jimbo's H.E.R.P.E.S.
Demotion[]
Mayor Pred wanted to demote Sassidy after he hurt his feelings during a meeting. Sassidy was upset that all Pred did during his Mayoral run was to lower BCSO pay in the background and then disappear from the city so he couldn't be confronted about it. Poor Pred, still frustrated with himself for confessing to Sassidy about his time machine trip to alternate Brokeback mountain timeline with him, left the meeting and grabbed the only deputy he saw outside, prepared to mold him. Even though Pred broke the law by appointing Radic to Interim Shrefiff position, Radic accepted the position and informed Cassidy over the phone about the demotion, assuring him it's all goooood because Cassidy's daily operations stay the same and he should be grateful he doesn't need to deal with Pred anymore. Cassidy talked with lawyers about the new appointment when Justice Arcadia noticed Pred has a felony and agreed his Mayoral keys should be removed. After Pred summons Governor, it's decided Pred did nothing wrong and new Interim Sheriff immediately demotes Cassidy.
Captain Cassidy comforts himself with the thought of "I could've got Rubied", continues to moewon the radio like a good pursuit kitten he is, while still surviving Duncaningand patiently awaiting the new Sheriff election.
2nd Sheriff election[]
Leon's "out of the loop" cosmetic HC era started when Radic and his Undersheriff Aspen wouldn't include him on anything. Once Mumbles became the new Mayor of the North, Cassidy decided to apply for the Sheriff interviews that Mumbles hosted. From the candidates, Radic's interview was one of the best ones, but he decided to step down from his Interim Sheriff position while hiding the reason why. Radic gained the nickname "Rat bitch" after Bruce found out he was transferring to LSPD as Captain. Cassidy's interview also went well, however "Cadet of Police" Moss and Mayor Nino made it clear to Mumbles that South won't cooperate with him if he chooses Cassidy. Both had different reasons for their threats. To this day, Moss was not able to recover from being yelled at by Cassidy forever ago. Popping Viagra pills like tic tacs turn her brain into mush. As for Nino, one day Cassidy received a call from Brian Knight. During this call, he didn't agree with Knight on how he disciplined his (former?) stalker Alana and tried to defend her. That was the last drop for Nino, and since then he started to hate Cassidy more than Ventura. After hearing those threats, Mumbles folds and pushes his agenda, disregarding what PD wants like all the other mayors in the past, except Andi and Nekoda's "it's complicated" girl Eve. Mumbles appoints Aspen as the new Sheriff and she immediately shits on Bones and Cassidy's legacy by making jorts legal.
Undersheriff 2.0[]
We're running it back. Cassidy realized his chances of ever getting Sheriff are slim, but since he still considers BCSO his baby and Raia won't ever give him one (because she's stuck playing Marvel Rivals), he decided to throw his hat in the ring for Undersheriff. New Sheriff had some concerns, mainly about Cassidy's crashout that happened months ago, but is still held over his head. Among Aspen's top picks for Undersheriff were Ventura and Alice, but in the end she reluctantly gives position to Cassidy.
Shift 1 never-ending drama[]
Cassidy's shift is in a permanent state of drama through almost all of its existence. In retrospect, OG Captain Ruth stepping down after being accused of treason started a chain of conflicts which left lasting effects to this day. The vicious cycle of constant tension, unstable working conditions, and the doom spiraling of many cops causes fluctuating PD numbers in shift 1, thus making Cassidy's effort to keep cops on duty very difficult.
