Lennon Lee is a character role-played by mrtimeee.
Description[]
"My bones are made of steel."
Lennon Lee, also known as Bane, is a former serial killer, former convict and part-time terrorist. He also owns a prison nicknamed The Pit.
One of Lennon's strongest traits is his ability to adapt his personality to the situations he finds himself in, ultimately causing his true self to be a complete mystery. However, when his true self truly does see the light of day, he has proven to have cunning, feral and caring characteristics. The animalistic tendencies tend to shine the most in moments where he is exposed to human flesh with an appealing scent. When his muzzle is off, it is easier for him to succumb to his cannibal cravings, so he keeps it on as much as possible to control himself and keep up his good behavior streak. The other lifer inmates at Bolingbroke, most notably Dash Whitlock, use this to their advantage by using a bloodthirsty Lennon to deal with troublemaking temporary inmates. Despite his feral tendencies, Lennon is a creative and caring individual. While he doesn't care about a lot of people in his life, those in The Pack are the people he truly calls his family and will go to the ends of the Earth for.
Lennon's physical characteristics consist of a dirty brown, messy mohawk, rough skin and a single scar that runs down the center of his forehead that stops between his eyes. Prior to being caught and thrown into Bolingbroke, he sported a blue dress shirt with suspenders, black pants and brown boots. Now, as an inmate serving a life sentence, Lennon regularly wears a prison jumpsuit. During his time in prison, he was given several tattoos thanks to fellow inmate Marty Holiday. One was a simple eye on his neck, the other being a vulture on his chest.
Background []
Before starting his infamous spree of murders, Lennon was raised in Sandy Shores by his single, abusive mother. He was sheltered from society and what it had to offer for most of his life. Detectives believe that this is the source of his bloodthirsty state of mind. Even Lennon himself agrees with this, stating that his mother is the reason for everything.
Over the course of his childhood and teenage years, a small flame was growing inside of him, one that would eventually cause him to slip and turn to ending the lives of innocents. Lennon's killing spree lasted for two years, starting with the family next door to him (sparing the children) and ending with one of the police officers that showed up to arrest him. He had wanted to kill his mother, but she had retreated to Los Santos. Lennon justifies the murders by claiming that he did it to "end their suffering" and "save them from the hell that is life."
On November 24th of 2018, after chewing the face off of the first officer on the scene of his last murder, Lennon was successfully detained and brought into custody. On December 10th he was sentenced to life in prison and brought to Bolingbroke where he was put in solitary confinement. Every individual he would come into contact with would be assaulted by him. Some were even brought close to death. Seeing a confined Lennon as a threat, they put a straitjacket and muzzle on him. During that time, Lennon had trained his mind and calmed himself down, seeing a display of good behavior as his only chance of regaining any sense of freedom he could get in jail. After three years, he was released from solitary and allowed in gen pop.
Events[]
The Straitjacket |
---|
Lennon's first experience among the general population of Bolingbroke was in a tight straitjacket, white pants and a muzzle. Several individuals, including DOC officers, mentioned that he looked like he belonged in Parsons or just anywhere else but gen pop. However, Lennon proved soon enough that he was calm and obedient.
After Chang Gang was sent to prison, Randy Bullet claimed Lennon to be his dog that he could send after people at will. Afterward, he released him from his straitjacket and muzzle, sending him out on a mission to 'eat everyone' that Lennon never completed. |
The Pack Formation |
---|
During the first lifer meeting organized by Zelda Wilde, the inmates threw around several suggestions to better the prison environment. One suggestion was a hierarchy system to establish order and positions of power. However, inmate Shank Jackson went against this idea, claiming that the prison would segregate into its own groups regardless of hierarchy. Taking this prediction into account, Lennon decided to form his own prison gang known as The Pack.
Lennon took his most trusted allies in the prison to the roof of the cafeteria, where he pitched them the idea of a group, the group name and its traditions. Surprisingly, everyone he pulled aside agreed to this idea and decided to become founding members of the Pack. After several days of limbo and the recruitment of Easton Travers, the Pack held their first official meeting in the back corner of the yard. There they established the rules and regulations of the Pack (also known as the Instincts). |
A Moment of Bliss |
---|
Ever since the start of Bolingbroke's civil war, Lennon has been itching to kill Johan, the former Pack member that snitched on the group. Said snitching ended up in the confiscation of Lennon's contraband he obtained from Lang Buddha, and he wanted revenge. The initial plan was to kill Johan during Marty's birthday party, where most of the inmates and corrections officers would be distracted. However, this was unable to happen due to Johan knowing something was up, so Lennon allowed the idea of revenge to fizzle out.
After a week or two since the party, the idea of killing Johan had plagued Lennon, but he never had the opportunity. After a rainstorm broke out and Lennon stumbled upon Johan in the showers alone, he began a conversation with him. The two talked about how nice it is to feel the rain on their skin. Lennon brought up about how the rain could only do so much for them and proceeded to ask Johan a question. "You know how I get my moments of bliss?" After Johan responded with curiosity, Lennon pulled out the shank he got from Joy and proceeded to stab him once in the chest, kicking him to the ground afterward. When Johan began to bleed on the ground, Lennon finally give him the answer he wanted. "In moments like these." |
A Pledge of Allegiance |
---|
After Lang Buddha was put in Bolingbroke for his "hold until trial" charge due to the murder of Naomi Kent, Lennon met up with him and had his suspicions confirmed. Earlier in the day, Tony Corleone told him that their manor was getting raided and that Lang might be sent in.
After receiving a phone from Lennon and using it in public, Lang beat several corrections officers to the ground and took their belongings, starting a prison riot. Eventually, Lang got his hands on a lethal and began shooting blindly into the air, claiming his hold on the prison. Lennon initially refused to help out of fear he would lose his belongings, but after some thought, Lennon decided to help one of the people he was loyal to and used the very pistol Lang smuggled in for him to shoot at cops alongside him. After the inevitable loss, Lennon's actions caused the entire prison to be flipped, causing every single inmate to lose their important contraband. Even Marco Richter's smuggling business suffered a huge blow. In the coming days, Lennon was stabbed, burnt and thrown on the other side of prison for two years because of what he had done. Lennon came to regret the consequences of his actions, but considered it worth it because he showed his loyalty to Lang and got to have fun shooting a gun. |
Relationships []
- Wynona Fontaine is Captain of the Department of Corrections and one of the first corrections officers that Lennon had met after being released from solitary. The two previously saw eye-to-eye and spoke to each other about things they normally wouldn't tell others. However, when Fontaine stepped down from her position, Lennon's loyalty to her faded.
- Roxie Faye, the "prison mom" at Bolingbroke, was one of the first lifers that Lennon had met after coming out of solitary. She taught Lennon most of the ropes when it comes to living in gen pop and the two currently share a mother-son type relationship. Roughly about a week after the two met, Roxie adopted Lennon as her prison son.
- Dash Whitlock is the love interest of Roxie Faye and a fellow inmate at Bolingbroke. Due to being the significant other to Roxie, he is Lennon's prison father. In the beginning, he didn't see him as one, but quickly grew to appreciate him as an actual father figure, something he never had on the outside.
- Marty Holiday is Lennon's closest friend and the source of tattoos for the prisoners at Bolingbroke. The two have a close bond because of their trustworthy natures and ability to get things done efficiently. Besides being close friends, the two also became partners for Lang Buddha after he had visited the prison. Lennon and Marty are considered to be inseperable.
- Benji Ramos is second in-command of the Vagos and one of Lennon's associates. The two had met when Benji had requested to meet with some of the inmates to request a prison hit on Von and Faith Eden after the sibling duo assaulted Ash Ketchup. When Lennon executed the hit, Benji grew to respect and appreciate him.
- Lang Buddha is a founding member of the Leanbois and owner of the Rooster's Rest. The two formed a friendly, business relationship after Lang had purposefully sent himself to prison to get a hold of Fontaine, but ended up stumbling upon Lennon and Marty instead. The two were tasked with feeding him any information about suspicious activity, which ended up being related to the reemergence of Maximilian Thoroughbred. In return, Lang would smuggle in contraband for inmates. When given the choice between him and Fontaine, Lennon chose Lang. After being released from prison on Halloween 2022, Lang tasked Lennon with leading his heroin operation and security team alongside Alexandra Yang.
- Lars Haverford (aka Bjorn) is a member of The Guild and employee at Rooster's Rest. While under an investigative hold for his involvement in Basem Shahin's death, Bjorn met members of The Pack, including Lennon. Because of Lennon's loyalty to Lang and helpful attitude, Lennon gave him whatever he needed during his long sentence. Afterward, the two became friends and have done several business deals together.
