Lang Buddha is a founding member of the Leanbois, Cleanbois, Talon, and superior of the Guild, who adheres to him as the Stormlord. He was the 7th Mayor of Los Santos. Lang is a violent criminal with terrorist tendencies by night and a successful business mogul and community leader by day, being the owner of Nest Holdings, the parent company of Rooster's Rest, and a founding, key member of Cerberus.
Due to being one of the richest and most well-connected men in Los Santos, and privately a violent criminal and one of the kingpins of the criminal world, Lang has a big target on his back. The extent of his power can be seen everywhere, as he helped get Denzel Williams elected as mayor, and later became mayor himself, positioning himself as a political leader. He has previously established alliances and working relationships with the Vagos, Chang Gang, Gulag Gang, The Mandem, and various influential individuals in the city at varying extents. This has led to the Unified Police Department, District Attorney, and Department of Justice to always keep an eye on Lang and the moves he makes. He has made enemies with officers/aquientences such as Sam Baas, Jack Ripley, Kyle Pred and Randy Wrangler.
Overall, his business acumen and connections in the criminal underworld has transformed Lang from a hotheaded Southside gangster in his younger years to a refined business man who is willing to give opportunities to his friends and random people alike. He created a business conglomerate known as Cerberus alongside Dean Watson and Leslie Lingberg, which eventually came to own half of the city's businesses, such as the National Paintball Association, Rooster's Rest, Premium Deluxe Motorsport, and Burger Shot. Unlike rich men in the real world, Lang and the rest of Cerberus like to help out the little guys around them.

Lang is a severe-looking Chinese man with a short temper. He is quick-witted and often uses humor to disarm his interlocutors. He exhibits narcissistic behavior and demands respect from nearly everyone he interacts with.
He maintains a complex social graph that includes highly illegal criminal organizations as well as high profile business circles. This makes Buddha secretive and paranoid in nature, and as a result, he is a skilled liar and storyteller. Lang is also known for his improvisation skills, always keeping his enemies on their toes when it comes to anything and everything. He is also known for his ability to gaslight, and his relentless intentions to stir up drama for the fun of it.

February 2021 - Early Life & Los Santos Lang Buddha was born in China. His grandfather was the head of a Chinese Triad who died after becoming sick. Lang was intended to take over as the leader, but the Triad didn't consider him ready. His grandmother attempted to take his place instead, but the Triad felt that she would become too powerful and also did not want a woman as their leader. After being excommunicated, Buddha and his grandmother moved to Grove Street in Los Santos. Lang became a taxi driver and met Avon Barksdale, which led to him becoming a founding member of the Leanbois. |

March 2021 - Rooster's Rest Lang Buddha opened a restaurant, Rooster's Rest, to sell tea and ramen and to host social events at the establishment. He initially hired Petunia Brookshire as CEO who was then replaced with Penelope Farthing who is the current CEO of the business. He would remain the owner and brought in Humberto Antonio Donato Pecorino to be the co-owner. Rooster's Ranch & Reef The Rooster's Reef is a legal Marijuana dispensary owned by Lang Buddha. They currently operate out of booths from Deans World and the Andi Jones Farmers Market selling custom Marijuana products. The business has two grow locations one of which is located inside the Nudist Colony which is now named - Rooster's Ranch and a second location on a plot of farmland just off Senora Freeway opposite Grapeseed. Lang Buddha has since handed full control of the business over to Eve Summers due to Lang not wanting to jeopardise the business if he was caught running Marijuana illegally. Lang frequently let's people know Eve is one of his best CEOs due to never having to micro manage her, hear about any drama or give him headaches. |

March 2021 - Talon
Talon is a terrorist organization handed down from generation to generation through Lang Buddha's lineage. The current incarnation of Talon is headquartered in the underground area hidden behind a false wall built into the basement of Rooster's Rest. The founding members are Lang Buddha, Ellie Dono, and Denzel Williams, who were join shortly after by Jacob Harth. The main goal of Talon is to "give power back to the people" and reveal the corruption of the government of Los Santos. The organization is figure headed by Shadow, Lang Buddha's pseudo-alter ego, who is also worshipped as the Stormlord by The Guild. Over the course of months in early 2021, the nerds of The Guild were slowly brainwashed and inducted into the ideology and organization. This culminated in their murder of fellow Guild mate Clyde "Meowfurryon" Eastside for the Stormlord, due to lost trust and the potential of exposing Talon. Once the Chosen Nerds were officially made a part of Talon, they began to be introduced to and develop relationship with their brothers and sister Jacob, Denzel, and Ellie. Maximilian "Yung Dab" Thoroughbred was a maximum security prisoner in Bolingbroke Penitentiary due to terrorist acts he had committed in the past. His movement, the Gnomes, had been influential towards Lang in his modern version of his family's Talon organization. In the course of therapy with Pixie Plum, Lang began to suspect another patient of hers was none other than the rapper Yung Dab himself. Formulating and planting the seeds for a plan, he utilized the Guild's recent positions as Department of Corrections volunteers to gather information and later stage a robbery to breakout of the high security inmate late one night. They successfully broke the man out on June 21st, 2021, and Dab helped Talon form a more coherent ideology while on the run before leaving Los Santos to lay low. With mayoral elections coming up, Lang realized the potential for Talon - they might even be able to execute a judge in the name of Talon in a court room. A massive campaign was enacted through Cerberus, with Lang convincing them of the beneficial nature of a friendly mayor. Denzel won a hard fought campaign and was elected Second Mayor of Los Santos. His term was long and tedious, plus no opportunities for Talon were seen by the group. With the abrupt breakout of Yung Dab, a plan to install Denzel as the sole ruler of the state at the end of his term was created by Lang, Dab, and the others. Weeks passed by and Denzel felt isolated from his family, and was developing a close relationship with his future wife Andi Jones, eventually moving away from the idea of becoming a dictator and dying in a blaze of glory. This gradual shift and care for his loved ones caused the man to gain the nickname of the "family man", and calming some of his uncontrollable violent tendencies much to Lang's delight. Time passed and towards the end of 2021, the nature of the city shifted towards greater chaos and destruction than ever seen before. Lang began to believe Talon to be an outdated idea, one that would be ineffective at enacting the change they desired. He gave his son Yaeger the mission to figure out what would come next - what would be the next generation of Talon to continue the fight and carry on the legacy? |

June 2021 - Methamphetamine Production Lang Buddha and the Cleanbois and members of The Guild were some of the first people to produce meth. Their first successful batch of meth cured to 82%. Guild member Gloryon was able to optimize the meth to 100% over the course of a few months, cooking alongside Lang, Donnie, Tony and his fellow Guild mates. Nino Chavez handled distribution to Mando Thompson and the Ballas. After Nino began to spend more time in his apartment, Lang had to take over distribution responsibilities and found much difficulty in working with Mando. He switched to working with his best friend Speedy and the Vagos, a close ally since his days in the Southside. Lang has also started to export the product himself with the help of the Cleanbois, as large meth runs have become available in the city. As interest among their group died out, Lang decided to sell the key to Speedy and the Vagos for $2.5 million, and the gang has taken over the lab and operations fully. The Guild members Bjorn, Barry, and more utilized the new meth table system to produce large quantities of the substance which began to be used for the groups large exports. |

August 2021 - Cocaine Distribution Thanks to his old friend, Otto Delmar, Lang Buddha and the Cleanbois were able to gain codes to give them access to cocaine in the city. Their coke operation is known as the Clean Cartel. They have a legal front known as the Stratum Knights Investments, and disguise their coke sales as cryptocurrency. Buddha stayed as the man in the background, allowing Mickey S to to take charge and shine through as the head of the company. Lang and Mickey purposely did not cover their tracks super well, and believing that the company will crash and burn in the near future. Hiring many crypto brokers and expanding their network, Lang and Mickey were moving hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of the product per week. The company operated until late December 2021 as a police investigation loomed and interest in Cocaine around the city died down. As a result Lang and Mickey decided to cease operations and pay out their investors. |

September 2021 - Burger Shot Murder Lang Buddha, Tony Corleone, Mickey S & Raymond Romanov made their way to Burger Shot to pick up food. Lang Buddha entered Burger Shot soon followed by Raymond Romanov and then Tony Corleone while Mickey S had stayed outside. Inside were two Correctional Officers waiting in line for their food, working behind the counter for Burger Shot was Hubcap Jones, Shelly Smith, Naomi Kent and other employees. As usual when placing an order at Burger Shot, Lang Buddha stresses that they don't double charge him as he hates having to pay twice on something that should just be counted as one order. An individual wearing a paper bag over his head who was serving Lang Buddha at the time tried to double charge him but Lang was having none of it exclaiming that "You will regret this" over and over to the employee. Moments later Lang Buddha pulls out his Diamondback Pistol and tells everyone working to put their hands up and not move. Lang then demands the employee wearing the paper bag go bring him free food else he'll blast Shelly in front of him. As Lang is about to leave two female employees speak up and one of them calls Lang a "Karen", Tony Corleone let's Lang know what was said and this results in Lang demanding to know who said it. Naomi Kent speaks up and tells Lang, "Do you need money? Are you okay?". At that point Lang shoots Naomi twice in the head and proceeds to quickly leave Burger Shot. Naomi Kent was pronounced dead sometime later after the shooting. Lang Buddha finds out after Tony Corleone had received a phone call from Mel Rickenbacker telling him that Naomi had passed away. Nearly three weeks after the occurance, Lang Buddha was apprehended by police after a failing to rob the Pacific Standard Bank and sentenced to the 9s for the murder. All properties owned by Lang were raided in an attempt to find the murder weapon, the Police Department found nothing of value but an expired practice laptop. |

November 2021 - Metamorphine On November 13th, Lang was given a new strain of drug by Kitty Dream. After taking these drugs, he found himself in a bad trip; his decisions became irrational and his behaviour shifted drastically. Lang began to constantly check behind him, paranoia and delusions seeping into his veins. While in this state, he gave $3,500,000 to trusted employee Sully at Rooster's Rest to keep safe until things were safe again. The next day he received the money back from the man, assuring him that he was fine and promising to bring Sully in on some business opportunities in the future. |

February 2022 - Hero Wine For months Lang Buddha had dreamt of a heroin empire, barrels upon barrels of the highly illegal substance under his restaurant the Rooster's Rest. It was a dangerous desire as the business had typically been completely clean, aside from nature of the basement below. This idea for a heroin empire was brought by Lang to the ears of Leslie and Dean late in 2021, who laughed but liked the thought. Eventually in a Cerberus meeting, it was pitched to use the Marlowe Winery to run a business that was a front for a potential heroin operation. Thus the name Hero Wine was born, and the company structure was slowly created. Taking advantage of Dean Watson owning the vineyard winery, Hero Wine would use it as their main sourcing location and would sell directly out of the old Spit Roasters Meat House building which would be re-branded. Once a business proposal was put in by Cassie Cupcake, and the land transferred from Dean to the company itself, they were up and running. The weeks leading up to late April 2022 consisted of planning various things such as the company's structure and brainstorming their own labeled wines while the heroin equipment was brought in and set up. The vineyards were run by Eve Summers, Stagdancer, and Sully, while transportation of the products was handled by C.B.P.D. members lead by Max Larson and Xavier Sin. |

February 2022 - Learning of the Simones On February 25th, 2022, Lang was looking into the prospect of seeking mayorship and dealing with a rush to purchase gas stations caused by upcoming changes to the gas and oil industry. As in investor in X-Mart, Cerberus wanted to secure locations for their business and learn more about the legal situation surrounding the stations. In the process he began to notice entities around the city who held considerable power like Michael and Alex Ron, who held close connections to another set of siblings unfamiliar to Lang - the Simone brothers, Nicholas and Michael Simone. Finding members of various groups on their companies boards, and having heard nothing of these individuals, Lang began to feel something was off with the situation. Speaking to people around the city, he heard whispers of them associated with things like terrorism, explosives, weapons manufacturing, and oil. After hours of investigations he had found tons of information with the assistance of Nancy Drew, Stanly "Stagdancer" Lessfield, and other associates. Stagdancer let him know of the Simones connection to Yaeger in his burgeoning post-Talon terrorism career, and Nancy told him of the Simones connection to Cleo Shaw and her torture at the hands of Nicholas. Meeting with Cleo shortly after at the Rooster's Rest, she remembered very little about her interactions over the past month and was understandably suspicious of Lang's motives. Unsure what he was getting himself into, he tried to learn what he could without upsetting the traumatized woman. She was unable to provide him much due to a mutual lack of trust, but they extended an olive branch to each other should their relationship improve, with Cleo offered a job at the Rest. After an unrelated meeting at Split Sides, he talked to Sam Baas and agreed to work with him in small ways in exchange for further information the Police Department had on the groups as well. Now all the more aware he was treading dangerous waters, Lang considered the mass of information he had found out in a short period of time - he would need to speak to his fellow Cerberus members and son Yaeger about this. Dean advised him to stay far away from Cleo - assuring him there was no conspiracy and the men were just other businessmen they had slight ties with through S.A. State Contracting and various other avenues. This only fueled Lang's paranoia and theories further, as he felt something was certainly going on here. Over the next few weeks Lang and Cerberus continued business, working to get their feet in the gas and oil industry among other things. All the while Lang continued to gather more information on the mysterious men - building a relationship with Cleo to try and draw them out. Unbeknownst to him his poking around was a matter of much concern for the Simones and Rons. March 2022 - Introductions After much insisting, eventually a meeting was set up between the "billboard guys", a.k.a. Michael Simone, and Cerberus. Lang, Dean, Leslie, Harry, and Cassie arrived at the Simones office, and Lang was finally introduced face to face to the white-haired man he had heard to much about. Getting to know each other in a professional capacity, the meeting was short but allowed the groups to learn more about each other, discussing the potential sale to Cerberus of the Simone owned billboards across the city and the oil industry. Lang left feeling that there was a while other side to the man they had yet to see, wary of what may come in the future. Early April 2022 - Simone Prison Break A few weeks later on April 2nd, 2022, Michael Simone was spotted at the Tuner Shop by police officers and a large prison break was undertaken by members of Hydra Gang and racers such as Eddie Marshall, with Dean Watson, Yaeger Demonblood and Raymond Romanov among them. While the prison break was successful in getting Michael out, Ray was caught and Held Until Trial on a terrorism and attempted prison break charge. Lang found out about these events the next day from Eddie, learning of the web that the police is trying to detangle, Tuner Shop lockdown, Ray's hold, Clean Manor raid and potential fallout. The Simone brother was free but those involved were unhappy with the police actions that were occurring, seeing them as violations of rights. Now more aware of the gravity of the situation surrounding the Simones, Lang offered his help should Eddie need it and headed to do some more research in the MDW. Later that day he was asked by Eddie to stand at the ready with them, armed to the teeth in case the PD came to raid the Tuner Shop owner's home which contained his "Titanium" alias racing dongle. Lang headed off to do business eventually but Eddie appreciated the gesture. The investigation and fallout from the successful prison break swept the city, getting Raymond and AP locked up until bailing out, with many interrogations and subpoenas being approved on members of different groups. The police focused for a time on the potential connection to Cerberus, as they had a long standing suspicion of something being amiss with the generally clean businesses even prior to the opening of Hero Wine. In a meeting with Murphy Braun to update them on the interrogations of their CEO's like Cassie (due to the Billboard meeting and communications between them and Michael), Lang noticed there was a substantial lack of his name being mentioned and began to feel his ego being bruised. To the shock of Dean, Murphy, and most of his friends awake at the time, he twatted a message for Michael to call him in plain text for all to see - feeling he should be getting some level of heat too, and perhaps wanting to speak with the man regardless. Around the city surprise and shocked laughter was common from those reading Twatter, and Cleo called him alarmed, warning that he will now be a target of the police department because of this.  
April 2022 - Meeting Under the Guild Hall Unbeknownst to most of the world, long had Yaeger and Michael Simone had a close relationship - with the latter teaching the aspiring terrorist to make bombs of many sorts. Due to the prison break and Yaeger's presence planting explosives, it had became more clear that the two were friends and their connection exposed. A vital part of Yaeger's secretive plans for the next generation of Talon, on April 13th, 2022, Yaeger brought together many notable people underneath the Guild Hall to reveal his answer. Lang Buddha, Denzel Williams, Michael Simone, a recently returned from hiding in Mexico Yung Dab, and all the Chosen Nerds of The Guild (plus Barry) gathered in the dimly lit vampire dungeon underneath the Guild Hall. Yaeger made introductions and began to explain his plans for an organization that will keep all those who cause unjust harm in check, police and criminal alike - a RESET. |

January 2023 - 7th Mayor of Los Santos On January 18, 2023, Chief Judge Alan Crane announced that Lang won the election for Mayor of Los Santos. Inside of Dennis LaBarre City Hall, Mickey S and Judge Crane completed the peaceful transfer of power to Lang. Mickey gave Mayor Lang a "digital key to the city", and congratulated him. Lang's new Vice Mayor Emma Gaine trained him inside of the Mayor's Office. Afterward, Lang inherited ownership of every single business that Dean Watson owned after he got deported for failing to renew his visa, including the Diamond Casino and Resort, Cerberus Industries, Cerberus Industries Armory, Diamond Hand Credit, and P1. Lang also now co-owned Diamond Sports Book with Ramee El-Rahman. In Lang's first mayoral term, he pushed the following priorities:
Mayor Lang's crusade against Nicholas Simone and Simone Memorial Hospital sparked a civil war that forced the city (including Lang's own Vice-Presidents Eve Summers and Nancy Drew and son Yeager Demonblood) to choose between Lang vs. the Simones. The Chang Gang umbrella's hunt for Michael Simone led to all-out war between them and the gangs of the leaders they interrogated and tried to ocean dump, including Seaside, the HOA, and the Lost MC. During the heated campaign for a second mayoral term, Lang began trailing opposing candidate Osvaldo Pingafria in votes--but his campaign team and allies all rallied behind him in the final days of the election. On April 7, 2023, Chief Judge Alan Crane announced that Lang had won re-election against Osvaldo by only 79 votes. The next day, The Guild swore revenge on Nick for a drone airstrike of Icecrown Citadel. Lang denied his adopted son Yeager Demonblood's demand that Cerberus VP Nancy Drew turn over Nick's friend Bunny to The Guild. When Yeager shot Cerberus executive Lexi Law in front of Lang because she heard him mention Yeager's bench, Lang disowned Yeager and started referring to him by his government name "Kayn". Yeager left The Guild and turned Cayo Perico into its own Sovereign State named Sanguine Isle. In Lang's second mayoral term, he pushed the following priorities:
Mayor Lang's second term erupted into violence when he feuded with Cleanboi Raymond Romanov and his R.U.S.T gang over breaking Lang's golden rule of keeping gang activity off of Rooster's Rest property. Although Lang had forgiven R.U.S.T member G Baby for parking a 9's van at Rooster's Rest that got raided by Randy Wrangler (due to Lang needing R.U.S.T's support in his re-election campaign), he wanted to punish Ray's adopted son Maxine Celsius for helping Kate Myles and R.U.S.T kidnap a Rooster's Rest customer who had bad-mouthed their gang. After banning R.U.S.T from Rooster's Rest, Lang, Harry Brown, and Speedy tranquilized Ray and Maxine at a Clean Manor meeting--but got gunned down in their secret tower area when R.U.S.T breached. Harry's son Zaceed Skengerton joined the gunfight, and fled with their illegal items to protect Lang's mayorship. The police ended up detcording the secret Clean Manor door to retrieve Lang, Harry, and Speedy. When R.U.S.T gave out free food in front of Rooster's Rest to undermine their business, Harry, Lang, and Denzel Williams rained helicopters onto one of the events. R.U.S.T captured them and Speedy, and Ray stole Speedy's bait key. Then when R.U.S.T tried to blow up Cerberus' parked cars at the CBC garage, Zaceed and Nancy Drew went down shooting at them with Lang. Lang used the mini-guns on his armored Deity car to shoot up Connell MacGregor, blowing up both him and his car. After Lang confirmed to Ray that he was dead to his family, Ray and R.U.S.T kidnapped both Deputy Mayors Nancy Drew and Eve Summers--but in the ensuing police chase, their car ran out of gas on the freeway. At least 20 people went down in the massive shootout that followed, including R.U.S.T, Air-1, Lang, Harry, Nancy, Eve, and several PD officers. Police Commissioner Sam Baas held R.U.S.T on an investigative hold and authorized Class-2 SCARs to raid them. The Unified Police Department/3.0 held R.U.S.T until trial and charged them with Coop's Law--seeking a 5 million dollar fine from Ray and 1 to 2.5 million dollars each for the rest of R.U.S.T. Before their bail hearing, Tony Corleone planted a spy camera in Bolingbroke Penitentiary visitation where Ray and Achez "Ace" Perez were talking with their two lawyers (Grace Daniels and Maya Mahmoud), Cassie Miller, and Nana. An unmasked Harry impulsively walked in and gunned all four visitors down with an AK. After R.U.S.T got bail, they got into another gunfight with Lang, Harry, Denzel, Speedy, and Zaceed at UwU Café, which almost cost Lang his mayorship and resulted in Zaceed being the only one getting a 24-hour hold (for using a hot gun with two murders on it). In the final days of his mayorship, Lang made sure to push for more punitive legislation to deter repeated targeted attacks on civilians and their businesses (which ultimately resulted in the "Restricting Undesireable Serial Targetings Act" being entered into legislation). Ex-police lieutenant Sexton "Hardcastle" Cohen succeeded Lang as the Mayor of Los Santos on June 10, 2023. |

21st September 2023 - Lang Announces His Retirement From Cerberus On the 21st September 2023, Lang Buddha and Leslie Lingberg were in attendance at the Cerberus Arena where a formal party to celebrate the promotions of Nancy Drew and Eve Summers to full co-owners of Cerberus. The following announcement by Lang came as a shock as he announced he was retiring from Cerberus effective immediately once he had received his exit package. Lang exit package consisted of originally $150,000,000 and a handful of companies aswell as other demands such as the removal of any and all Cerberus branding from the city. The following weeks, Lang grew impatient as he still hadn't received his retirement package and started to make threats towards members of the company via proxy through Eve Summers, Eve having been the only high up in the company around at the time had to endure Lang's anger and aggressiveness. It only got worse when Lang emptied the entirety of the Cerberus bank accounts, this happened not only once but twice. The second time he took the money and spread it inside Clean Manor is where he then burnt $40,000,000, it was only afterwards Lang finally received his exit package which amounted to $50,000,000 and three companies, Roosters Rest, Cerberus Industries and Cerberus Industries Armoury. However in spectactular Lang fashion he was swindled out of the $50,000,000 as Tim Collins wrote into the contract that he had already received it, meaning the $40,000,000 he burnt and the remaing $10,000,000 he aso partially burnt and buried was infact his money. Since then Lang is still aggressive towards the company, he spies on every meeting via cameras or sending in Harry Brown to report back what was said. |
