Los Santos Sanitation Division better known as LSD, (or 'G-Union' by some members) is a Sanitation Company formed by Lang Buddha and other Sanitation workers in the city of Los Santos. The LSD was formerly known as The Los Santos Sanitation Union (LSSU) when is was first formed.
Formation of The Los Santos Sanitation Union (LSSU)[]
The Los Santos Sanitation Union was a union organization formed by workers who joined together in a time when multiple groups were trying to take advantage of them. The Sanitation Union started when Lang Buddha met The Company at Legion Square to sell materials to them but decided against it when they only wanted to buy at 0.20 cents per. Knowing that materials would be the lifeblood of the sanitation workers, Lang Buddha decided to gamble and start buying materials at $2 per raising prices of materials. In less then a day Buddha's gamble paid off as he successfully raised prices for all materials forcing The Company to buy materials at a reasonable prices.
Sanitation Union Functions[]
Through the Sanitation Union, workers can negotiate from a position of strength and unity with buyer and groups around the city selling their materials at a reasonable price, having better working conditions, better benefit and a safer work environment. The Sanitation Union plays a crucial role in advocating for the rights and well-being of the labor force involved in handling waste and maintaining sanitation services in communities.
Some of the Key Function's Can Be;
- Collective Bargaining: Negotiating employment contracts, wages, benefits, and working conditions with employers or relevant authorities on behalf of the workers.
- Advocacy and Representation: Speaking for workers' interests in interactions with employers, government bodies, and other stakeholders. They may also lobby for policies and regulations that benefit workers in the waste management industry.
- Workplace Safety: Ensuring that adequate safety measures are in place to protect workers from hazards related to handling waste and operating heavy machinery.
- Education and Training: Providing resources, training programs, and information to workers to enhance their skills, knowledge of rights, and safety protocols.
- Support and Solidarity: Offering support to members in case of workplace material issues, disputes, or grievances. Unions can provide legal assistance and representation if necessary.
- Solidarity with other Labor Movements: Collaborating with other unions or labor movements to support common causes and promote worker rights and fair labor practices.
Formation of Los Santos Sanitation Division (LSD)[]
The Sanitation Union was renamed and reorganized to the Los Santos Sanitation Division (LSD) when the Mayor Maximilian Thoroughbred met with Lang Buddha to talk about getting the union official but after a talk they both decided its for the best that the existing unions in the city should rename themselves as they don't technically do what unions do.
After a talk with Cleo Cloak, Lang Buddha decided to reorganize themselves to get rid of some "rats" in the union and as Lang understands that he wont be forever clean, he appointed Cloak to be the Owners and CEO of LSD. LSD Contracted Business[]
- Mosley's Auto: Early on in its creation Lang Buddha made a deal with Mary Domino-Mushkin for the Sanitation Division to supply Mosley's with any materials they might need for them to properly supply their mechanic shop. Lang Buddha initially decided to go forth with this deal because he determined out off all the mechanic shops in the city he foresaw Mary and Mosley alike will survive the cannibalization of mechanic shops. This deal has made Lang and the LSD to make a lot of money out of Mosley's and for Mosley's to always be able to supply their mechanic's with mechanic parts.

EVENTS[]
Merger with Ash Ketchup's Sanitation Group[]
On January 9th, 2024 after talks with Ash Ketchup, Lang and the Union Leaders managed to bring in Ash into the union as a Union Head. This is the unions biggest move yet because Ash and friends were one of big groups that worked in sanitation and is likely top 3 most reputable members in sanitation who work for Leo Earthwell. This means more materials will be pumped into the union hence for mechanic shops will get materials to build car parts.
Conflict with Patar Bellosh[]
As Patar Bellosh didn't comply with the prices that the Union had set, as he was selling to Popular Motorworks just under what The Union sold to Mosley's. With Patar's actions he had Popular Motorwoks actively undercut the mechanic market and Patar himself undercut the material market. With Lang Buddha and The Union being actively undercut from the market they want to control they decided to start "hitting" and "running them off the yard" making their life's more and more difficult. After a few days Patar decided to call Lang to end this as he saw this conflict being bad for the material market.
Conflict with The Company[]
As The Company and Cypress were in a conflict with each other over weed sales and strain competition In Cypress Flats, The Company decided that instead of targeting Cypress constantly they would target members of the Sanitation Division which they saw as the low members of Cypress and easy targets. During the few weeks this conflict was happening The Sanitation members were constantly targeted and shot during their trash pickups over and over again. As the conflict between The Company and Cypress died down and ended so did the targeting of the members of Sanitation Division.
The Circuit Board (CB) BOOM:[]
With the introduction of ButtCoins to Los Santos multiple groups needed GPU's to farm the crypto, requiring thousands upon thousands of Circuit Boards to make 2-4 coins for 1 GPU Rack. Knowing that the prices of circuit boards were going sky high the Division members started selling Circuits Boards at 8-10 but untimely deciding to stick to 8 per. As the rest of the materials were selling way cheaper then Circuits Boards mechanic shops weren't getting the needed materials to keep running their shops as it was more profitable selling Circuit Boards then any other materials. Because of this The Sanitation Division raised all the prices of all materials to 8 per so LSD can continue suppling Mosley's with materials without it being less profitable.
