Kian McNulty is The Sheriff for the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, Badge #333.
Background Information[]
Kian was invited to help build the new PD after the collapse of the government due to fallout after the Sanguine War. He accepted the offer as he felt as though he wanted to actually help make a change instead of dealing with minor disputes back in the Irish countryside. Prior to his immigration to Los Santos, he was a police officer in the countryside of Ireland, his highest rank being Sergeant. He has stated that his move to America has disappointed his parents to some degree, who he speaks of fondly.
Some time around 2018, Kian was investigating an organized crime group and getting close to finding evidence that would put the man in charge away. When the group caught wind of this, they ambushed his home late at night, ultimately resulting in Kian's partner getting decapitated in front of him. He later interrogated one of the members responsible but didn't have sufficient evidence to book him. Out of anger he barricaded the door with a chair, broke the camera, and "took care of him." He has heavily scarred knuckles and nerve damage in his hands as a result. Although he has stated he does not regret his actions that night, he seems to hold some disdain towards himself for his past and aims to do good in his new position.
