Description[]
Kaiden Maverick is typically seen wearing a handful of different outfits. These outfits include a leather jacket with black jeans, a blue button up shirt with black dress pants, or a light blue shirt with jeans. He also usually wears glasses and an earring. His hair is a dark brown, and occasionally has highlights. He also has tattoos along both arms and his chest and back.
Overall, Kaiden tends to be extremely nice to everyone he meets. He is always wanting to help others, whether he is giving them food, covering the cost of items for them, or lending a helping hand with different groups, such as Parks and Recreation and Plus One.
Whenever it comes to relationships, Kaiden tends to want to make as many friends as possibly, however he is limited by his shy and awkward personality. The longer he has been in the city though, the more he has been willing to meet new people and experience new things.
While Kaiden is still trying to find his way around the city, he has been branching out of his comfort zone and looking at new opportunities. He currently has multiple jobs that he enjoys, and he also has been torn between becoming a criminal or police officer.
Kaiden does appear to suffer from some trauma in his past. While it has not been too much of a problem since he has been in the city, he still struggles with his feelings toward some of his close friends who partake in activities that bring back this trauma.
Background[]
Life Before Los Santos[]
During Kaiden's childhood, he lived with both of his parents and his older sister whose name is still unknown. His father was an alcoholic, drinking tons of whiskey and beer every single day. One such consequence of his father constantly drinking, besides living in a poor household, was that his father would become violent and oftentimes beat his wife and children. Eventually his father was arrested for domestic abuse when he was 6 years old, and Kaiden was taken away by the CPS and sent to a foster home. This was the last time he would see his parents and his sister, who he still misses to this day since she would often comfort him during violent physical or mental altercations. This information became known whenever he opened up to Shelly Smith, Taylor Briggs, and Eunchong Lum after a night at the Rooster's Rest.
He was eventually adopted by a loving family, however he never felt quite comfortable in this household. He never made any friends during his time in High School, and he would often stay trapped in his room playing video games or watching streamers on Mitch.tv. Although he did not have many social skills while growing up under either family, he did start to become more comfortable talking to other people online when he played video games. This was his main area of social development prior to going off to college.
Once Kaiden graduated from High School, he decided he was going to attend college in his home state of Oklahoma. He eventually attended a Liberal Arts College as a Music Major, since he thought it wouldn't be too difficult, since he played in his high school band (saxophone). It was not until his Junior Year did Kaiden learn that he wanted to study History instead, and he switched his major. He eventually graduated from the University, however his grades were not the highest, not because of his intellect, but because of an altercation that happened during his Junior Year of College.
During his Junior Year, Kaiden was invited to go out to dinner with some friends and their significant others at a local chain restaurant. He was enjoying himself throughout the beginning of the night, however things began to take a turn. His friends provided him with "fruit smoothies" to drink, but unbeknownst to Kaiden, these were actually Frozen Margaritas. Kaiden ended up drinking two of these beverages and quickly became drunk, never consuming alcohol before in his life. His "friends" then began to laugh at Kaiden and started to record him making a fool of himself in the restaurant. During this time, he also ended up confessing his love to his High School/College crush that he has never told anyone else about prior to the moment. As the situation escalated and Kaiden became violent as he learned that he was provided alcohol behind his back, the whole group was kicked out of the restaurant.
After the events that occurred at the restaurant, his "friends" ended up posting the video to Twatter, and most people in his home state ended up viewing the video. The social pressure that he began to feel led to him locking himself in his dorm room and never talking to anyone else again at the University. He spent his last two years in College playing video games, watching Mitch.tv, and slacking in his classes and doing homework.
First Day in the Big City[]
Once he graduated from college, he decided he wanted to start a new life. He decided to move to Los Santos in order to make new friends and find a new career path. Almost immediately after arriving at the Alta Street Apartments, Kaiden ran into Ash Ketchup, and proceeded to ask her if there was anywhere he could possibly go in order to meet new people and create some friends. He was almost immediately directed toward Mike Block, who told him to get in the car and do whatever he says. They then took Kaiden to the headquarters of the Los Santos Police Department and told him to go inside and threaten them with a bomb unless they gave him $300. Dispatcher Roy Armstrong greeted Kaiden and asked him what was happening, in which Kaiden described the situation to him. In order to keep Kaiden safe, Roy proceeded to give Kaiden the $300 to show that he did receive the money. At this time, Roy began to talk to Mike while a woman ran into MRPD asking for help and protection from an unknown assailant. As Mike began to get into a chase, a man wielding an axe ran into MRPD and struck the woman down before being shot and killed himself. Not knowing what to do, Kaiden proceeded to run outside and yell at the officers in the patrol cars outside that were about to start chasing Mike that a man with an axe was inside the police station. The cops immediately turned around, which accidentally allowed Mike to escape.
Burger Shot Interviews[]
The following days in Los Santos started to calm down. One day Kaiden found himself at Burger Shot in which he ran in to Shelly Smith, who was in a wheelchair at the time after being ran-over by Officer Cletus Cornwood. Kaiden offered his assistance to Shelly throughout the next day in order to help her move around the city easier until she could walk again. Because of his generosity in helping Shelly, she decided to go ahead and interview him for the job outside of Burger Shot's normal interview process. The first interview was interrupted by the police, however a second interview began later that night after the event known as Hug-a-Hobo Night. The second interview was a dual interview in which Kaiden did his interview along Peener Pogue. Throughout the interview, Peener would consistently let Kaiden answer first so he could use the same answers, which eventually led to them both being told they did not get the job. Later that week, Kaiden would be contacted by Sherry Paie saying that Shelly wanted to talk to him. At this point, Kaiden returned to Burger Shot and was told that he did get the job.
Secret Agents[]
One day Kaiden met two individuals by the name of Eden Madchen and Ari Preston outside of the Legion Square Fleeca. One day while hanging out with Eden, they came across an individual by the name of General Corporal Tarkov at the Andi Jones Farmers Market. Eden, Kaiden, and another individual by the name of Mark decided they wanted to dress as Russian secret agents and send Tarkov out on random missions. These missions included stealing people's shoes or taking their firearms to give to the trio. They would continue to give him missions and meet him at locations such as the Crypt and the Chumash Pier. Eventually the group disbanded once General Tarkov disappeared.
To Become a Criminal?[]
At one point in time, Kaiden debated on becoming a criminal. Most of his friends that he worked with at Burger Shot were criminals, and he was not sure if he wanted to go down this path or not. However, one day his friend Olivia Harvey called him up and asked him if he had a gun he could sell her, in which he did. Kaiden decided that he did not care what would happen and went ahead and gave the gun to Olivia. He also met some other individuals during this time who taught him how to rob houses. One day, Olivia asked Kaiden if he could be the lookout for when she was running oxy with Autumn Rhodes, and he happily obliged. He also was approached by Yuno Sykk one day asking Kaiden if he had a green dongle and that he would take Kaiden along with him on a bank robbery if he did have one. This was the last time that Kaiden did any major crime for over a year.
Dispatch[]
Kaiden decided he wanted to turn his life around. After spending two months working at Burger Shot once he stopped doing crime, he decided he wanted more to do in his life. He decided that he would apply to be a Dispatcher for the Unified Police Department/3.0, and was eventually hired on as a trainee. He was FTO'd by Ace Crow and Doen Tukla during this time, and became a full dispatcher approximately one month after training began. He enjoyed it, however there was a lot of complaints he had about the position as well. Around this time is whenever Kaiden no longer opened his eyes for an extended period of time. They will open again one day...
Heading Home and Return to Los Santos[]
Kaiden eventually left for home after working as a Solo Dispatcher for a month, since the stress began to get to him and he no longer felt like he fit in the city. Approximately three months later he decided it was time to return back to Los Santos and return to his job at Burger Shot. During his absence, many people forgot about him and he missed a large portion of changes in the city, such as Burger Shot closing down, the official opening of the UwU Cafe building in Little Seoul, and the establishment of the Cerberus Building.
Reuniting with Old Friends and Making New Ones[]
While many people forgot about Kaiden, he was extremely happy when he returned to the city to see that some of his closest friends missed him, such as Saphira Sinclair, Taylor Briggs, and Ari Preston. He also decided to finally open up out of his shell more and meet new people around the city, such as Emmy Montez and Daphne Malone, who he met at the clothing store near Burger Shot. Emmy has quickly became one of his best friends and has introduced him to some of her friends such as Charlotte Fairfield, Duece Smalls, and Larry Jonsen. He was also introduced to his current crush, Charlotte Spade, by Scruffy Doodle. While their lives are quite different, Kaiden regards Charlotte Spade as the person he cares for the most in the city.
Unified Police Department[]
One day, Kaiden decided that he wanted to work at MRPD again, however he no longer wanted to be a Dispatcher after a combination of burnout and lack of respect from the PD. He decided that he wanted to become a Police Officer and sent in an application so he can try and make a change. He has pretty lofty goals of helping establish better relationships with the civilians in the city, trying to mend the bridge between PD and Dispatch that is occasionally created, and to eventually join the Street Crimes Unit as a Detective.
New Business Opportunities[]
After helping Parks and Recreation with the rehearsal for their Friendly Feud Fridays event, Kaiden decided he wanted to become more involved with these type of activities. He was eventually hired to Parks & Rec as a Recreation Coordinator by Charlotte Greene. After continuing to help with Parks & Rec, he made even more friends and connections and was eventually hired to Plus One by Semlina Thaysa, who he greatly appreciates for making sure that he was always involved in activities when hanging out with her.
Finding Family[]
Whenever the Sisters of Plus One were kidnapped, Kaiden eventually ran across Opal Hart in his search for them. They did not talk much at first, but after coming across each other a few more times in Mirror Park and talking, they started to become closer. Both of them had lost their sisters in some way in the past, and they found family in each other. One night, both of them sat down and talked about their pasts and their family. During this time, Kaiden told Opal about how when he went back home on vacation for a weekend, he learned that his mother was still alive, however she went missing shortly before he went home, most likely because she had an episode caused by her PTSD.
The Love Triangle[]
Kaiden started to become close friends with Mai Kazowski and Ellie Fire. During this time, Kaiden spoke to Ellie about her relationship and he voiced his opinions. He also learned that Ellie used to and possibly still does like Larry Jonsen and that Larry also likes her, even though he is engaged to Mai. Shortly afterwards, Kaiden began talking to Mai, and she voiced her opinions on how she felt like her and Larry weren't going to last. During this time, Kaiden began to form feelings for Ellie, however he felt guilty for this and knew that he has little to no chance. During this time, he began to crush on SunHee Kim as well.
To Be an Outlaw[]
After a series of events that caused drama between Kaiden and his friend group, he began to stay in Paleto to avoid any drama in the city and starting working at Mojito Inn more often. During this time, he began to become close to Mayhem MC. He started to become friends with individuals such as Synn Payne, Eddie Dee, and Lucky Cox. He also rekindled his friendship with Eden Madchen. Kaiden had no interest in joining the Club, however after months of waiting for a response from PD and those helping him join giving up on him, he eventually began to take the Club into consideration after her spoke to Eddie Dee and Kimberly Daniels. Kaiden also plans on opening a storefront in Paleto with the permission from Adonis Monroe and Fritz Ericson.
Kana Kurosaki and Mayhem[]
One day Kaiden began talking to Kana Kurosaki, the ex-girlfriend of Larry Jonsen. Unbeknownst to Kaiden, some of the members of the Club did not like Kana, however Kaiden was hanging out with her almost everyday and helping her through her injuries. He began to care for Kana, and she started to come to him for advice, since he was not a Club Member. One day, she ended up breaking off her relationship with one of the Club members, and things began to take a turn. She was eventually kicked out of Paleto, and Kaiden stayed by her side to help her while also splitting time with the Club. Larry Jonsen also spoke to Kaiden and wanted him to look after Kana. Kaiden began to think that Kana started forming feelings for him, and although he didn't want to form feelings for her, he began to have complicated feelings, since he knows he will most likely be hurt by her and his worry about the Club viewing him differently. Kaiden originally stayed the night with her at one of her friends places, but then he offered her to stay with him a couple of nights until she got back up and running. One night, she just got up in the middle of the night and left without saying a word. Kaiden was eventually able to contact her, and they spent some time throughout the day talking and trying to decide on certain things. Kana at one point contacted her recent ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Crow, and tried to mend their friendship, with him going against it. She wanted to see him one last time and was about to go to Paleto and possibly get herself killed, but then Kaiden opened up to her and told her how he felt toward her. While this did not succeed in stopping her from wanting to go, it did weigh heavily on her mind. Eventually she decided against going to Paleto, and as she dropped Kaiden off at his house, he told her that she is allowed over whenever she needs it. She then proceeded to ask Kaiden if he wanted to date her, and he said yes. While they are not officially in a relationship, they do consider themselves together in the fact that they are very close friends who have all the benefits of a relationship and are committed to each other, but do not share the same emotional connection.
Family[]
Prior to the drama with the friend group, Kaiden went on another trip back home for about a week. During this time, his mother was found and in critical condition. She was in the hospital with a laceration across her stomach, multiple bruises, and internal bleeding. She was currently in a coma and possibly on her death bed. Kaiden had to leave prior to learning more about his mom. Whenever he made his way back to Los Santos however, he eventually began to find more family. He began to talk to Charlotte Greene more, who is his boss for Parks and Rec and also Opal Hart's adopted sister. He began to view Charlie in a more positive light compared to how people made her out to seem. He started to care for her more and grow closer to her, considering Charlie as one of his sisters now as well.

Burger Shot[]
Kaiden was hired at Burger Shot around March/April of 2021 by Shelly Smith. He started off as a part-time employee at the establishment and has continued to work there since his hiring. Most of his friends he originally met through Burger Shot, and he is thankful for his time working there. After working at Burger Shot for over a year, he was finally promoted to Guardian of the Royal Stash and was awarded a bonus. He met his current crush, Charlotte Spade, at Burger Shot.
Dispatch[]
Around August/September of 2021, Kaiden was hired to be a part of Los Santos Police Dispatch. His callsign was D-38T throughout his training, and he was offered the promotion to Solo Dispatch at the beginning of October 2021. He kept the callsign of D-38. While he enjoyed most of his time as a Dispatcher, he was eventually laid off whenever he had to take a Leave of Absence. He decided to not return to Dispatch because of a combination of burnout and lack of respect from members of PD.
Parks and Recreation[]
On June 1st, 2022, Kaiden was hired as a Recreation Coordinator at Parks and Recreation by Director Charlie Greene. While he had not been able to attend many of the events, he really enjoyed hanging out with his co-workers, and began trying to come up with ideas for new events and helping whenever he could. After planning the successful Gold Gala event, Charlie promoted him to Supervisor.
Plus One[]
Kaiden was eventually hired at Plus One by Semlina Thaysa on the 17th of June, 2022, after he attended at Plus One meeting following a Parks & Rec Event. During this meeting, he pitched multiple ideas for gifts or events that can be planned, even though he was not hired at the time. He looks forward to working with Plus One, especially since they are helping him plan a date with Charlotte Spade after he missed both Prom and the Summer Lovin's 50s Themed Dance.
Mojito Inn[]
One day, Kaiden spoke to Adonis Monroe if he could work at Mojito Inn. He was given a position and began to work there almost everyday. Kaiden enjoys spending time in Paleto and spending time with Mayhem MC who are all associated with Mojito. Kaiden has met many new friends through Mojito Inn, and some of those friends have created drama that has put Kaiden into some tough situations.
Sugar Daddies[]
One day whenever Kaiden's sister Opal Hart was deciding on rebuilding her business Sugar Daddies, she decided to hire Kaiden on to her business as COO. The business is currently awaiting a storefront, and Kaiden is willing to do whatever he can to help the business succeed.
