Personality[]
Upon arriving in the city, Juno had to quickly learn how to adapt to the fast-paced city of Los Santos. She is still discovering who she truly is. She is strong-willed and protective of those she considers closest to her heart. Her time in Los Santos has caused her to become jaded and her moral compass has changed significantly since she first arrived. If someone she cares about is in danger, she will not hesitate to do whatever she can to help them.
Background Information[]
Juno Sweeney was born in the United Kingdom and raised in the state of Wyoming in the United States. She often describes her upbringing as uncommon and challenging. She grew up on a ranch with her mother, father, and her brother, Yannis, in a tight-knit, off-the-grid, cult-like community.
The community of forty or so people Juno lived in practised an unorthodox lifestyle, where they often partook in a cannibalistic diet. Juno laments how she frequently would be hungry, leading to her being malnourished as an adult. She also recalls how her parents often locked her inside a closet if she misbehaved.
Sometime in 2020, Yannis disappeared. Juno vividly recalls the last time she saw her brother. She remembers it being 02:43 that night. He embraced her and told her she could go with him, but she refused, and then he left. Upon his disappearance, several community members searched continuously for Yannis for approximately two weeks. They wandered high and low in search of him, and when they returned to the ranch, they were covered in blood but with no Yannis in sight. Juno doesn't know what happened to her brother and misses him every day, but as time has passed, she has given up hope that he will never return. She has accepted that he is most likely dead.
What led Juno to come to Los Santos is currently unknown. What is known is that she was religious but has separated herself from the religious community she grew up in and its lifestyle. She is not in hiding per se, but she believes they could easily find her and force her back to the ranch. This nightmare nearly came true when Gemma Knight visited the city with knowledge of Juno's past. She has since reconciled with Gemma and her past to a degree.
Prior to 4.0[]
Juno served as a Park Ranger in the San Andreas State Park Rangers. Following the events of the Sanguine War, Juno felt that the PD had failed her, so she handed over her badge and resigned. With the city becoming overwhelming, Juno and her boyfriend, Vittorio DiCenzo, moved to Colorado and lived on a ranch for 5 years where they looked after several animals - including many left in their care by Juno's good friend, Tessa Lamb. Following the death of Vito's father, they returned to Los Santos for his funeral. They originally intended to head back to Colorado afterwards. They decided to stay to make a living alongside Vito's family.

- Juno learned to sing while in Colorado.
